The Top 5 Most Unromantic-Romantic Gestures - Duration: 5:21.

When we talk about romantic gestures, the same few ideas come up.

Candlelit dinners, handwritten love notes, thoughtful gifts for no-particular occasion.

What we don't talk about though are all the unromantic-romantic gestures we can do

for the one we love, which is exactly what I'm going to discuss today.

Hey ladies, my name is Amy North, welcome to my YouTube channel.

For those of you who don't know me I'm a relationship coach from Vancouver, BC and

Now today I'm going to talk about how you can be romantic in the non-cliche sense of

the word.

Since the most romantic things are the ones that are unexpected, by adding a few of these

ideas to your routine you'll not only have your guy's head spinning because he won't

have seen it coming, but it'll also deepen his love for you because he'll see that

you're going out of your way to make him smile.

Before I share these unromantic-romantic gestures with you though I'd like to quickly ask

Okay, now let's talk gestures.

See the movie he wants.

There's no denying that you and your man probably have different tastes when it comes

to movies.

Now, that's not to say that you both don't appreciate a good comedy or epic thriller,

but rather that along with your similarities, you also have differences.

One of the most unromantic-romantic gestures you can make is it see the movie he wants.

Why?

Because he knows that you don't really want to see if, but that you're willing to do

so for him.

What makes his romantic is simply the fact that you're putting his wants above your

own.

That alone will mean the world to him!

Surprise him with his favourite breakfast or lunch.

Now depending on your schedules, this one will vary.

I mean, if you both work days then the chances of you getting to his end of town to bring

him his favourite sandwich on your lunch break isn't the most realistic.

Sure, delivery is an option for some places, but don't sweat it if you can't make this

one happen — after all, there are three meals to everyday so work with what you can

here!

But, if you can manage to surprise him with his favourite lunch then do so!

He'll not only appreciate you remembering what he likes, but he'll be blown away by

the fact that you took time out of your day to make him feel loved.

If you have to opt for breakfast then that works too!

Knowing how your man likes his eggs cooked or how he takes his coffee speaks volumes

of your love for him.

After all, it's these little gestures that mean more than any candlelit meal.

Spend time with his loved ones

Depending on where you live in relation to his family, spending time with his loved ones

may or may not be possible.

But for the sake of this video, let's say it is.

So then, a great way to be unromantically-romantic is to spend time with the people who mean

the most to your man.

Maybe that's his Mom or Dad, or perhaps it's a sibling or even cousin.

Whoever it is, spending some quality time with that person and treating him or her to

a wonderful day out will mean a lot to your man.

And even though it doesn't seem romantic because it's not something you're doing

together, believe me, it most definitely is!

Bonus tip here: if your man's loved ones don't live in the same city as you then

make a point to call or message them every once in awhile.

Even something as simple as exchanging text messages with someone who's important to

him he'll appreciate, which in the long run, will take you far with him.

Get involved in the things he loves

Whether this means sitting down and giving his favourite video game a go, or watching

the football game on Sunday afternoon, when you take the time to do the things your guy

loves, that's one of the most romantic things you can do.

Why?

Because you're again, putting his interests first and trying new things because they're

important to him.

That alone will show him how important he is to you, and before you know it, you'll

be his favourite person.

Run him a bath

Whoever thinks that baths are just for women is greatly mistaken, in fact, you'd be surprised

how much men actually enjoy a nice relaxing soak in the tub.

That's why simply running your man a bath is one of the most unromantic-romantic things

you can do for him.

Don't stop there though!

Go the whole nine yards and be sure to include everything from candles to soothing music.

Creating a relaxing atmosphere for your guy to bask in after a long hard day will mean

more to him then you'll know.

Just be sure that you set the mood and get out.

After all, this is for him, not you!

Again, it's these kind of little moments that show you understand your man and care

deeply for him.

While grand gestures are nice, the five I just shared with you are just as, if not more

powerful because they're personalized and done without reason or expectation.

Veterans Day weekend and today's acronym is USAF right here so let's see who our

candidate is today for the shoutout

I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things and you know what I do I

provide you with educational videos for building your model railroad this is a

special edition observing Veterans Day weekend and also a few milestones on

this channel has been achieved again but the biggest milestone is sometime today

the minutes watched is going to exceed 1 million minutes and that is I wrote it

down here someplace that's a lot of minutes ok it's on my

notes here somewhere there it is that is 694 days worth of viewing time 24 hours

a day 694 days that's how many times that's how many minutes my videos have

been watched so far since June 25th of last year so I want to thank every one

of you for watching my videos giving me thumbs up all the comments you have and

even the ones that are giving me thumbs down because the thumbs down count just

as much as the thumbs up do so thank you very much for your support and so let's
