What This Hotel Just Banned Has Muslims Ready To Riot Around The World Right Now - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 6:08.
Now, this is a smart move in today's world.
The Malaysian Association of Hotels or also known as MAH has now defended its members'
policy of prohibiting their frontline staff from wearing the hijab, or headscarf while
at work saying it is international practice and not meant to be discriminatory.
A spokesperson for the hotels, Cheah Swee Hee, said the hotels, especially the international
hotels in Malaysia, which has a huge Muslim population, followed a standard operating
procedure and policy on the matter and that it shouldn't be called discrimination because
these hotel companies have international policies to follow.
He later added that it's not about "Islamophobia" because the practice of not letting women
wear headscarves has been done from the beginning.
But of course, the left is going crazy over this policy.
Via FMT News:
I regret that Muslim women in Malaysia still face religious discrimination, when it comes
to the wearing of the hijab, which is a religious requirement that many of them adhere to.
This is according to the report by the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF).
MEF executive director Shamsuddin Bardan said he had received complaints from hotel employees
regarding the banning of headscarves or hijab at the workplace.
This is something we should not tolerate especially when there's no plausible explanation as
to why the hijab is a hindrance to the nature of their work.
This is even more so in a country which holds Islam as the religion of the Federation.
Simply being in the private sector does not exclude the party from respecting one's
right to practice their religious requirements.
This argument also applies to our national airlines, Malaysia Airlines, where there are
also calls from flight attendants to be allowed to observe their religious requirement in
wearing hijab.
The fact that flight attendants with hijab had been serving the pilgrims during the Hajj
season in flights to Mecca is testimony that wearing the hijab does not determine inefficiency.
With regard to hospitality industries, it is not easy for these women to actually lodge
reports, especially when allowances, salaries and placement for internship are involved.
If these are students, we know that internship is part of the requirement in their last semester
before they can graduate.
Our Muslim students are trapped in a systematic discriminatory process along the line.
I urge Muslim ladies who face such discrimination to come forward and report it to us at wafiq3108@gmail.com.
We promise to maintain their confidentiality.
Now here is the thing.
No one is forced to work at this establishment.
Just like an individual can pick and choose where they will work, a business should have
the right to dictate what and what should not be worn by their employees, especially
those who have direct access to the public.
I am sure this rule must have been in the contract every employee needs to sign in order
to get employment from this company.
The Malaysian Insight Reports:
Wafiq president Associate Professor Dr Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar said the NGO has received four
direct complaints while her personal Facebook page has received dozens of grouses .
"Since we have many universities producing graduates in hospitality and tourism, it's
kind of a setback to have international hotels having (such) standards.
"It's discriminatory against our citizens in terms of employment and training.
I'll have to work with the respective ministries, such as higher education and tourism (on this
matter)," she told The Malaysian Insight in a WhatsApp message.
Syukri, a hotel banquet manager in Kuala Lumpur said the hijab policy had been in place for
at least 10 years.
"At a five-star hotel in KL where I once worked, Muslim female staff were not allowed
to wear the headscarf so as to attract customers.
"If a woman wanted a job as a waitress, she could not wear a scarf.
It was considered unfashionable and unattractive," said Syukri who did not want to give his full
name.
As he was in charge of hiring temporary workers for big functions, he had to tell recruits
that they could not wear the headscarf.
He said the policy consistently applied to those working in food and beverage, such as
servers, and in frontline positions, such as receptionists.
Syukri left the five-star hotel three years ago and found another job at a hotel that
did not have such a policy.
"I moved to another hotel because I did not want to be a part of that kind of practice,"
the 39-year-old said.
Farisha, who has worked for a year as a receptionist at a five-star hotel in Putrajaya, said she
removed her headscarf whenever she went to work
"To be a receptionist at this hotel, you can't wear the 'tudung'.
They say that this is in line with the image of an international hotel.
"So after I finish work, I will put it back on.
I just don't wear it at work.
What else can I do?
It is not easy to find a job now," said the 29-year-old.
– November 11, 2017.
Let us be honest with ourselves.
This isn't about a headscarf.
This rule has been applied for years.
I bet if any of us worked there we wouldn't be allowed to wear a New York Yankee's hat.
All this is is the left and how they try to push Islam on the rest of the freedom loving
world.
And if anyone dares to say "NO" they are branded as racists, bigots and "Islamaphobes"
which is a term that doesn't even exist.
It's all part of the globalization movement and some of us just aren't having anything
to do with it.
This is a great example as to why we elected President Donald Trump.
We are sick and tired of people pushing their own beliefs and culture on us while if we
do the same we are branded as criminals.

The Reason Why Trump Had To Explain That Melania Is Missing Right Now Will Melt Your Heart - Duration: 5:52.
The President and First Lady have no shortage of critics.
Unfortunately, not everyone in the United States is satisfied with the President, or
his idea of how to make America great again.
No matter what the First Family does, the media and the alt-left will promote the idea
that he's tearing the nation apart, piece by piece.
A favorite pastime of the media is to insinuate that there are problems between the President
and First Lady.
It seems to be completely inconceivable that they could have a healthy relationship, given
their age difference and the fact that First Lady Melania Trump used to be very much in
the public eye with her modeling career.
The rumors constantly fly about them, and never more than when they are overseas.
Because the couple tends to employ the strategy that many hands make light work and split
up their diplomatic tasks, which isn't uncommon in these situations, the media will always
spin it as if it's because they don't want to be together.
The lunacy of saying that any time a married couple isn't in one another's presence
it means they're having marital problems seems to be lost on the left, who is looking
desperately for any reason to throw shade at the couple.
However, the President was kind enough to share with the world why he and Melania choose
different places to spend the last couple of days, and it's a really great reason
indeed.
While the President is stuck in some stuffy meetings, taking care of business, the First
Lady took a trip to see some of the greatest things China has to offer, and also to visit
the troops in Alaska:
The First Lady also made good use of her Twitter account to show the amazing time she had while
in Asia.
Her photos show both animals and humans in her path were met with kindness and respect.
While the First Couple had both a productive and enjoyable trip through Asia, as always,
their first priority is with Americans, both at home and abroad.
The First Lady took this opportunity to swing by a state that is easily forgotten on most
tours of the US and said hello to the men and women in uniform in Alaska, as well as
their families.
Even the Washington Post didn't have much negative to say about the radiant Melania
Trump as she talked with both children and adults with great ease.
Here's more from our source on the First Lady's visit to the military base in honor
of Veterans Day:
Melania Trump might have been a fashion model at one time in her life, but she had no qualms
ripping off a chunk of messy play dough and getting her hands dirty, just like the three
preschoolers seated at the table with her Friday at a military base in Alaska.
Trump expertly rubbed the material between her two hands into a perfect sphere and then
rolled the red small ball on the table to the girl seated across from her.
The nation's first lady then moved to the table to her right and made a harmonica out
of ordinary household materials, held together with a rubber band.
It's not the heady stuff of the official visit with her husband to Asia but hundreds
packed the Arctic Oasis Community Center to get a glimpse of the first lady as she toured
programs for children and youth at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
She made a refueling stop at the Anchorage base en route back to Washington, D.C., after
spending the last week with President Donald Trump in South Korea and China.
The White House said late Friday that the first lady "has her own schedule to keep
and needed to get back."
The president continued his official visit to Asia.
"Any time we have an opportunity to share with others what our program does and the
educational basis for all the activities that we do, it's a chance to show our story and
to share with other individuals how we serve our military population," said Tamra De
Benedetto, who oversees all activities at the base for children under age 18.
Trump viewed items children made on a 3D printer, saw sewing projects, and watched as they constructed
fish out of compact discs, glitter, and gems.
"Every program we offer has an educational purpose and a reason for why we do it,"
De Benedetto said.
De Benedetto said she exchanged a few private words with Trump.
"She is just delightful and very genuine," she said.
Trump didn't make a public speech or address reporters but did take time to shake hands
and talk briefly with parents and military members who flocked to the community center.
Paige Wyse and her husband, Air Force Tech Sgt.
Matthew Wyse, brought their 4-year-old son Brantley so he could make a fish with the
first lady.
They found out about Trump's visit Thursday and tried to explain to their son who she
was.
He made the correlation when she explained to him that the visitor is the president's
wife, and then he became excited.
"He was like, 'Oh, wow.
OK,'" she said.
Air Force Master Sgt.
David Jennings brought his wife, Lindsay, and their two daughters, Abbigail and Annabelle,
to see the first lady.
He said dignitaries stop at the base all the time, but base personnel rarely are able to
get close.
But in this case, the family got a good view of the visit, and they took pictures to remember
the rare event.
"A great family memory here," he said.
There are 14,000 active duty soldiers and airmen stationed at the joint Army and Air
Force facility in Anchorage.
With their family members, that number swells to 29,000.
There are currently 1,800 service members deployed all over the globe, including 1,200
in Afghanistan.

BREAKING: Chiefs Player Going To Jail After Depraved Crime He Committed Overnight - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 5:49.
For years the left has told the black community that they are victims of systematic racism
that is deeply entrenched in our country.
The left claims that the reason the black community suffers as much as they do and have
such a high rate of incarceration is all because of white people.
While the rest of white America knows this to be a bold-face lie it does not help or
stop millions of brainwashed minorities from believing this blatant falsehood.
That all-out tall tale of victimhood has created an "us versus them" mentality that has
grown into dangerous groups such as Black Lives Matter and the New Black Panthers group.
These groups, such as the BLM has fanned the flames of division by peddling the lie that
blacks are targeted by police officers and the judicial system.
At first, this dangerous narrative was localized to small militant groups, but it has now made
its way into the mainstream media and the NFL where hundreds of players are now protesting
this so-called racial injustice in America.
However, their entire premise of their protest is falling apart as more of these social justice
warrior players are now being arrested for crimes that shock the senses.
Just this weekend, law enforcement in Jacksonville, Florida arrested Kansas City Chiefs defensive
lineman Roy Miller on domestic battery charges and the details of the case are so shocking
you would think feminists would be up in arms.
In the early hours of Saturday, the police were called to a domestic dispute that climaxed
when 320-pound Roy Miller went full caveman and dragged his wife by her hair.
According to the police reports, Miller and his wife went out on a date together but the
romantic evening soured quickly when the two broke out into a physical fight.
Miller is alleged to have thrown his wife's cellphone in the toilet, dragged her by her
hair, and physically assaulted her before the police were called to the scene.
Here is more from ESPN:
According to the report, the altercation between Miller, who is 6-foot-1 and 320 pounds, and
Nicole Miller began with an argument after the couple returned home, separately, from
a date.
The argument allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation, and Nicole Miller told police
her husband grabbed her by the hair, pushed her around, threw her phone into the toilet
and prevented her from retrieving it.
The report said the woman was able to recover the phone and called police.
She told police that Miller had barricaded himself in their bedroom.
According to the report, Nicole Miller had a braid torn from the back of her head.
She also had a small abrasion on her face and a scratch on the back of her neck.
Several children were at the home at the time of the incident, the report said.
The report said witnesses inside the home corroborated some of the details provided
by Nicole Miller, including Roy Miller restraining her from retrieving her phone.
One witness, according to the report, said the couple's bedroom door was slammed shut
and she heard "thumping coming from inside the room as if someone was being hit."
When police arrived at the couple's home, they found Roy Miller inside, sleeping.
He agreed to speak with police outside.
He eventually was arrested.
It was an almost nostalgic moment in terms of the NFL and probably has some fans yearning
for the days back before the league got into the racial grievance business.
Domestic abusers and woman beaters were commonplace only a few short years ago before they ceded
the spotlight to the rebels without a clue.
Now, as we all know this isn't the first time that an NFL player has been caught in
a violent act and it indeed won't be the last.
Earlier this month, American Freedom Fighters reported on Dallas Cowboys former linebacker,
Anthony Darnel McClanahan who was charged with the first-degree murder of his wife,
Keri McClanahan.
46-year-old McClanahan has been arrested for the murder of his wife, 28-year-old Keri 'KC'
McClanahan.
McClanahan is suspected of stabbing his wife "KC" repeatedly in the throat at the Park
Regency Resort condominiums as of Thursday.
Police were called to the condo complex at around 1:30 p.m. local time after another
resident of the complex called them due to what they termed as a "ruckus" in the
building.
McClanahan himself flagged down a police car around the same time.
Police found KC lying on her bed with knife wounds on her throat.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to local news affiliate Fox 13 Salt Lake City.
So, these NFL players and those who goad them into protesting are facing quite the dilemma
that kneeling during the anthem just won't fix.
These NFL players and male members of the black community are NOT being unfairly targeted
by a rogue judicial system.
No one forced both these men or the hundreds of others in the black community to commit
violent crimes against others.
The only ones that are to blame for their actions are themselves and no one else, and
until they all take responsibility for their atrocious behavior, it will only continue.
You see, this is the issue with awarding people with million dollar contracts for their physical
capabilities when they are lacking a moral compass.
Maybe, if NFL owners would focus on not only the physical factor of a potential recruit
but also the heart of these men there would be a change.
The only way there will be a change is when we demand a change and that starts with all
of us.
