The Secret of My Love | 我男人的秘密 | 내 남자의 비밀 - Ep.32 [SUB : ENG/CHN/2017.11.16] - Duration: 34:12.

It's daddy.

It's my daddy.

(Episode 32)

(Shopping mall scam compensation plan)

I'm sorry but I should step outside.

Wait a moment.

We'll start right away.

I'm sorry but my child didn't come back.

I told you to sit down.

This will be your only chance to hear this.

Please proceed. I must go.

I said that we'd give you money.

Didn't you hear us say that we'll compensate you?

What?

Sit down.

This is very urgent.

All the victims here

have already been heartbroken enough.

Don't confuse the situation.

Money won't compensate us for everything.

Mommy. Daddy.

Mommy. Mommy.

Haesol.

Haesol.

Haesol.

Han Haesol.

- Haesol. / - Mommy.

- Mommy. / - Haesol.

Haesol. Han Haesol.

(Broadcasting room)

We are searching for a 5-year-old child.

She is wearing a yellow shirt and a navy skirt.

Her name is Han Haesol.

If you are with her now or happen to find her,

please come to the lobby.

Haesol!

Han Haesol!

(Gangin Group)

Mommy.

Mommy.

You must be tired from crying so much.

Drink this.

Why? You won't drink it

because it's from a stranger?

But you're not a stranger.

I know you.

You ate spicy seafood noodles for free

at my grandma's restaurant.

Excuse me!

Would someone come in please?

Thank goodness an employee found your child.

She'll be here soon,

so don't worry too much.

Okay. Thank you.

Mommy! Mommy!

Haesol.

What happened?

You should've come right back after using the toilet.

Why did you make me worry so much?

I'm sorry.

It's because I saw daddy.

What?

It was daddy's face.

Daddy came to see me, right?

I guess so.

He must've known you were here

and came here to see you

because he missed you so much.

What's going on?

- What? / - Do you know them?

No. The mom looked so desperate to find her child.

They are victims of the shopping mall scam.

That woman always causes trouble wherever she is.

What do you mean?

She came to do housework for a day and

stole something from me.

She denied it all day.

She's ridiculous.

She doesn't look like that type of person.

That's why people like that are even more despicable.

She smiles innocently...

- And hides a hideous... / - That's enough.

I'm going back.

Was this what you were after?

Sorry?

Haerim was in charge of the meeting with the victims.

Don't tell me you're trying to use that meeting...

As an excuse to see your family again.

You should forget about that.

Remember this.

You are Wi Seonae's son, Kang Jaeuk.

Don't forget that for even a second.

If you ever do forget that...

Your family will become very uncomfortable.

How could I possibly forget that?

You are smart indeed.

It's obvious that you understand,

so I'll go now.

That child

must've left this.

What is that bag?

Well, I had a child guest earlier.

It seems like she came with her mom but got lost.

Yes. I heard the announcement too.

I think they're victims of the shopping mall scam.

I'll have them return this to its owner.

You want to retry the franchise business

that failed?

That's correct, sir.

Why do you want to retry a project

that ended up as only a loss?

I'd like to learn from what happened back then

and give it another shot.

We'll cut out what was wrong,

reinforce what it lacked,

and do it right this time.

What if you fail again?

You know the risk is high, don't you?

I thought it over many times and made the decision.

Haesol.

You keep only your most precious things in your bag.

Thank you for keeping my picture in there.

I can be with you only in a picture like this.

I'm sorry for that.

I'm so sorry.

Don't tell me... It can't be.

No, it can't be.

It must be Daera's sonogram.

Hi. What's up?

That look on your face was quite amusing.

What's this?

Are you getting more secrets before we get married?

I should have my own life too.

What's that?

It's a report.

It's the victims' compensation payment details.

Our progress until now is all there,

so you should look through it.

And you know my dad invited us for dinner tonight?

Your mom will be there too.

Yes. I haven't forgotten.

Good work. See you later.

That bag. Did a victim family's child

leave it behind or something?

- What? / - Where did you find it?

I'll return it.

No. You don't need to bother.

- I'll have my assistant do it. / - No.

I'm in charge of overseeing the victims.

I'll return it to them.

Bye.

How absentminded of her

to leave her child's bag behind.

She isn't qualified to be a parent either.

Are you doing well?

Don't hurt Give Us A Call's reputation.

Stay on your toes and be alert, okay?

Don't worry.

I never knew I was such a good worker

and was gifted in running errands for people.

Ki Seora.

Yes. Here.

Can we really cut class like this?

We must eat to live.

Hey, what do you want for dinner?

What about you?

- Spicy seafood noodles. / - Spicy seafood noodles.

Let's go.

I know the best spicy seafood noodles place on earth.

No. I'll choose today.

Don't be a brat.

If you don't want your head separated from your body,

just say yes and follow me.

What's going on? Why is the door open?

Who are you?

How did you get in?

Imagine how angry I was

to even ask the landlord to open the door for me.

Hey, you. You lousy scammers!

What are you doing?

Don't you see the goods?

I asked your male employee to go grocery shopping,

and he brought shriveled up, expired items!

Did you buy clearance items

and charged me for the full price?

Our apologies. There must've been a mistake.

We'll buy you fresh products,

so don't be angry.

What's going on now?

Now, you show your shameless mug.

She says the products you bought her

are not fresh.

What?

Ma'am.

This is all you can buy with the money you gave me.

You told me to stick to the budget

and sacrifice quality if needed.

Hey. I told you to be frugal.

When did I tell you to buy garbage like this?

Hey you!

Stop it.

Ma'am, I'm sorry. I'm very sorry.

So please go home now.

I'll get the groceries for you again.

Please don't be angry and go home.

I'll be nice for her sake.

Hey.

What's wrong with you?

What do you mean?

I did my best.

That woman was weird from the start.

She must be trying to get fresh products

by asking for cheap stuff and getting angry about it.

Whatever she requested,

getting fresh products is an obvious thing to do.

You should at least check the expiration dates.

It's because you're so thoughtless,

that you can't find a job.

What?

Must you beg and bow down to others

to get a job and make money?

I'd rather be jobless and keep my pride.

I'm being thoughtful as someone with experience.

Why are you being so stubborn?

I'll think for myself.

I'll think with my smart brain.

What are you waiting for? Answer your phone already.

(Grandfather)

Hello.

Will you come only after I die?

Why won't you come visit even once?

Of course I should visit you. I'll stop by tomorrow.

Okay.

Are you just going to watch?

Who said I was just going to watch?

I'm hungry.

Don't be lazy and pick them up quickly.

Your boss will buy you a meal today.

Please enjoy.

- Mom. / - Hey.

What's this? Why are you two coming together?

He's doing part-time work

at my errand service company.

What? Why? You should've looked for a better job.

It just kind of happened.

Mom, make us two bowls of spicy seafood noodles.

- Please make mine a double. / - Sure thing.

I think about it and crave it as soon as I walk out,

so one bowl just isn't enough.

- Okay. / - You're paying the extra, right?

You really are as

cold as I expected.

Just order a regular.

I'll give you much more than a double order.

Haesol and her grandpa are coming because...

- She wanted seafood noodles too. / - Grandma!

Oh, my.

Mommy's here too.

Hello, Haesol.

Speak of the devil. We were just talking about you.

- Hello. / - Hello.

Did you come for a meal?

Apparently, he started working

as a part-timer for Give Us A Call.

What? Is that so?

My goodness. Seora has a

great helping hand now.

If you're done with the greetings, give me a hand.

Wait a minute.

- We'll bring out your food. / - Thank you.

You and I had telepathy.

You're right. I ran over because

I was craving spicy seafood noodles too.

I'm your daughter indeed.

I feel the same thing you do.

Come in.

We wanted to have dinner with you

and made you come all this way.

Not at all.

Thank you for inviting us.

I brought a gift only for you this time.

My gosh.

I don't know why flowers always

make my heart flutter.

Thank you very much.

Thank you for having us over.

The greetings are lasting too long.

Shall we eat first or

do the interview first?

What? An interview?

I wasn't able to tell you in advance.

Reporters kept calling ever since they

announced their engagement.

We agreed to receive a few questions

and answer them as a good father and son-in-law.

I told him not to tell you.

I thought it would be most natural

if it would be done without preparations.

Why do you look like that?

It's not like you to be shy in front of the camera.

Must we do the interview today?

To be honest, he finds these things

uncomfortable ever since the accident.

It'll be simple.

I've done it a few times with my dad

and it was fun. You don't need to feel burdened.

Right, Jaeuk?

No. I refuse to do the interview.

I don't think I belong

in front of the camera.

What do you mean?

The reporters waited a long time.

Let's stop joking and get started.

I'm sorry but I won't do the interview.

I don't think you can convince me otherwise.

I wouldn't have come

if I knew about this.

Jaeuk,

I understand how you feel,

but I don't think you should say it like that.

Jaeuk, let's talk in private.

Please give us 10 minutes.

What do you think you're doing?

Didn't you see the look on my dad's face?

You should've looked at the look on my face first.

Shouldn't that have come beforehand?

How could you suddenly bring reporters like this?

I really can't understand you.

Is there a reason you can't have your face on TV?

What is it?

Please. Forget my dad.

I'm begging you.

Can you still not do it?

I've told you enough already.

If we keep discussing this,

we'll end up getting upset and start fighting.

Let's stop it here. Stop.

Fine. I guess I went overboard.

I'll respect your wishes

as you did mine.

I'll send away the reporters right now.

The reporters just left.

Haerim handled it well.

Are you very upset?

If I talk about when I was young,

I'll be treated like an old fogy.

Pardon?

When I was little, my father bought puppies

each for me and my brother.

My older brother got a Jindo dog

since the eldest son was important,

and I got a mutt.

I was angry.

My brother cherished his dog more than himself,

but I kicked mine around and hated it.

One day, we had a barbecue in our yard.

Guess what happened?

When my brother started to eat his meat,

my brother's dog, which he pampered, bit his mouth

and stole it from him.

But my dog, the mutt I beat all the time,

sat there drooling and watching me

the entire time.

He was loyal.

I understand what you mean.

But my son Jaeuk...

- Is not a dog. / - That media company...

Was very friendly with me.

There was an image

that I needed to uphold.

I'll make sure

you get your interview later.

It'll be much better,

and it'll make you shine even more.

I'll do it. I promise.

The problem isn't you,

it's Jaeuk.

Can you control him?

Isn't he already out of your control?

Not at all.

Jaeuk moves

according to what you and I want.

So don't worry about a thing.

Your campaign

for next year's elections will be quite burdensome.

I'll make sure...

To prepare it well through Jaeuk.

Our loyal, obedient Jaeuk.

Don't you dare cross this line.

If my finger crosses over, cut it off.

If my toe crosses over, cut it off.

If your neck crosses over, I'll slice your neck.

And look that way when you breathe.

Don't you dare fart in my direction either.

I can tell even if it's silent.

Have you seen my bag?

My school backpack.

Why are you looking for it here?

It isn't in here.

That's not good.

Okay. Hold each other tight when you sleep.

Father,

why are you out here?

We need to talk.

Father.

Why was the land transferred?

The land in Jeju-do!

Did you deceive me?

Did you plan to sell it

without telling me and

treat me like a fool?

Yes, I sold it.

What?

Are you trying to toy with me?

I thought it was

within my right.

I thought I could do that much.

Why can't I sell that land the way I wanted to?

It is completely within my right.

Do you have dementia already?

Do you want to see the oath that you wrote?

When you moved in,

you said you'd live here only as Jaeuk's mother.

You said that you wouldn't try to take

any authority or wealth!

I did not...

I definitely did not do it out of my personal greed.

I used it properly

for something that was absolutely necessary.

Don't give me that!

Do you think I'll believe you?

Fine. Where did that absolutely

necessary money go?

You won't believe anything I tell you.

So just think what you want,

and hate me as you want.

What was that?

Get out.

Stop.

Get out.

Did you pick up a new hobby?

Do you eavesdrop elders' conversations now?

What did you just do to my grandfather?

What was that?

He should rest at home.

Why were you two yelling?

You don't even live here,

but you pretend to worry about the family.

Isn't that laughable,

even if you think about it?

I won't let you

mistreat him like that.

So this is how you treat me since I'm not blood.

I got it.

I always thought I was your mom.

But I guess I'm not.

Sorry. Go see your grandfather.

Is something wrong?

Why do you look like that?

Don't freak out.

This is the normal look for an old man.

Come here.

Let me check your blood pressure.

I'm going to sleep. There's no need to bother me.

It'll be quick.

Jaeuk decided to

marry Haerim again.

Did you think I wouldn't know? It's in the newspapers.

I know already.

You should prepare yourself.

Forget about going to the U.S.

People must get up

from where they fall.

This is where you must stand up.

Don't think about leaving.

I can't check your blood pressure if you talk too much.

Trust me and wait a short while.

Just a bit more.

My father-in-law must never find out.

Make sure he doesn't find out that to whom the land

in Jeju-do was sold. Please be very careful.

What was that?

I hear something incredible.

One by one,

the tiger's teeth are falling out.

I can hear it incredibly clear.

You've made a wise decision.

Investing in the Tears of God

is the wisest thing

you've ever done in your life.

It's a sure thing, right?

You're sure that I'll profit 100 times over, right?

Hush. Your precious lips weren't made

for saying useless things.

I leave with top investors next week

to Victoria Falls to explain the business.

Come to the airport. Don't be late.

Oh, my gosh.

Victoria?

To another country?

Shall we go now?

No.

My heart is racing. I'll get up after it calms down.

I'll see you next weekend then.

Okay. Thanks to the Tears of God,

Gu Mihong, your own tears

will be bye-bye forever.

Bye-bye.

What's this?

Compensating victims?

(Gangin Group to compensate its victims)

I smell money here.

Hello, everyone.

Good afternoon.

How may we help you?

I came to discuss the compensation

for the shopping mall scam.

You did?

She's in charge of that. Haerim.

- Please take a seat. / - Okay.

What's your name?

You can look up Han Jiseop.

I'm Han Jiseop's mother.

- Han Jiseop? / - Yes.

Han Jiseop's wife Ki Seora is already registered

as his family contact.

Then you should change it.

I'm his guardian.

His mom.

I should receive the money,

so change it quickly.

You want to change it from your daughter-in-law?

Of course.

That's how it should be.

I see.

Then bring us your family registration certificate.

You need to submit that.

How many copies do you need?

One is enough.

What's up? Why did you want to see me?

Aren't you tired?

It looks like some people personally visit the office.

I was stunned as well.

How could they come to the office?

Who came to see you?

She says she's Han Jiseop's mother.

She wants us to send the compensation to her.

No. You should never do that.

Why are you overreacting?

Do you know her or something?

If the victim is not here, their spouse is their guardian.

It's a sensitive matter,

so check their relationships carefully first.

I'm getting annoyed the more I think about it.

If she's going to get money,

she should call me first.

Must I step in myself?

What now?

Are you Hong Gildong or something?

Why do you keep appearing out of nowhere?

You're scaring me.

You haven't taken care of your

daughter-in-law's baby issue.

Why don't we go somewhere quiet and talk about it?

Talk about what?

Whatever.

I barely have any money left,

so do what you will.

Go on.

Kill me then.

Isn't this game

becoming too easy?

Father, you should be yourself

and make it more challenging for me.

Yes, go ahead.

The mother-in-law is impossible to convince.

She's a stubborn mule.

Just do it by threatening, bribery or whatever it takes.

Get her to take care of it before Jaeuk finds out.

- Enjoy. / - Thank you.

I haven't been here for a long time.

Me too. My last time was last spring with Jiseop...

My bad.

I'm so stupid.

I'm hungry. Let's eat.

You were craving this that badly?

Exactly this. I don't need any other food.

This is it for now.

Is that normal?

Do you crave exactly one thing when you're pregnant?

Yes. The baby tells you

exactly what it wants.

Okay. I'll treat my second niece or nephew,

so eat up.

I chose this with your mother.

I hope you like it.

(Haerim)

(The Secret of My Love)

Jaeuk, are you playing hard to get?

The deal

was for my shell.

Not my heart.

Shut it. Don't you realize your heart

may ruin everything?

What are you scheming behind my back?

Did you kill Miryeong?

You can never beat me.

Jin Haerim!

You should've lived a respectable life.

Watch what you say.

What do you know?

Maybe it's her new man's child, not her husband's.

Watch your mouth.

Why do you get so sensitive

whenever I talk about her?

LFP 082 How I Began Changing My Life One Habit at a Time | Learn Flute Online Video Podcast - Duration: 12:42.

Hey'all, it's me Rebecca Fuller, the expert and instructor of the Learn Flute Online programs

and flute education information series.

Are you ready to tackle yet another part of what it takes to get confident, and love your

hobbies?

Let's get started today on habit-making and how I began changing my life one habit

at a time.

I don't have a lot of time to watch television, but I love superhero shows and movies.

I can't help but fantasize a little bit about what supernatural abilities I would

have in that world.

Haha, I can think of a few actually.

But, here in the real world, there are also quite a list of things I've always wanted

to be able to accomplish.

Most and many of these things are pretty much out of reach for the time being, and I guess

that's why they're still on "the list."

A few years ago, I was contemplating and wondering how some people get to the higher levels they

are on in certain subjects.

I am always fascinated and amazed at those who achieve high performance -- on any subject,

whether it be an olympic athlete or an entrepreneur who patents their invention and sells many

millions of them.

How did they do it?

I like to think about this kind of thing.

Might be funny to you, but there is actually quite a bit of research on this exact subject.

I find it very interesting.

So, during my contemplation hours a few years ago as I wondered about this I wondered if

I could ever achieve some seemingly impossible skills.

You know, it's one thing to be born with a gift, and it's another to discover the

gift, use it, and nurture it to beyond the natural ability stages.

I wondered about this a lot about this time I decided that I needed and wanted to be a

better educator, and in the course of learning to help others learn, I discovered that I,

myself needed to become a better learner myself.

I wanted to figure out how to fit it all in, and get really accomplished.

In order to do this, I knew it would take time.

I knew it would take effort.

But really, it's not hard work.

It's actually quite enjoyable…

I've found the secret.

It just takes a consistent effort to go well beyond my natural limits.

Really.

It's true.

It's all about taking a new habit that needs to be formed and keeping with it in a systematic

and educational manner until it becomes second nature.

Then, something new or the next step can be added on.

Horace Mann, who was a key educational reformer back in the eighteen hundreds, said it very

plainly and best.

I quote "Habit is a cable, we weave a thread of it each day, and at last we cannot break

it."

Did you catch the visual there?

I picture those big, heavy iron cables you see coming off of the ships in a harbor.

They are made of smaller strands and woven together to make something that can hold thousands

of tons of pressure and weight.

When I decided to learn a set of new skills, some were pretty big so I immediately began

to worry.

You know how it feels.

Worried I'll never achieve something to a proficient level because perhaps I wasn't

born with the knack for it.

Or, worried someone would see my try and fail, etcetera..

The normal human stuff.

Well, how was I going to overcome these invasive thoughts?

They're annoying, and I still have them depending on what I'm doing and especially

when I'm embarking on a new learning journey.

I had tried to adopt new habits before, and expected myself to achieve at greater heights..

Only to find that I would lose motivation after a few days, when I noticed I hadn't

reached any level of achievement.

Then I'd give up and return to my old ways.

This is disheartening, and I didn't want to be this way any more.

So, this time it was going to be different.

I took a lot of time to determine what was going on with me, and I found one simple ingredient

to success that I hadn't tried before.

Want to know what it is?

Oh good.

Well, since you're still here listening, I'll go ahead and tell you: It was two-fold.

The first was that I seemed to only choose new skills or habits that would for most people

be considered an entire life-overhaul.

Big, giant, earth shattering ideas that were monstrous to look at.

And then, I exposed to myself that I had a real problem with "Patience".

I lacked patience in allowing myself to be a beginner and learn something from the bottom

up.

I'll give you an example here of one of my very earliest quests at creating a new

habit..

I was really trying to learn how to create new habits because I had a lot of steps to

go if I was going to make all of my new goal.

A few years ago, I really needed to up my game in physical health.

I had a list of things I knew I needed to be doing, but I really wasn't.

The list overwhelmed me because I knew it was going to be tough to keep at all of those

new things every day.

.. forever.

So, I pulled up my big-girl pants and decided to start with the one simple task that I could

focus on every day without too much pain.

Instead of trying to look at the entire giant list of things I should be doing, I chose

to take one thing, do it continuously, and do it well.

I was going start and end my day with a large clear glass of water.

Now, this may not sound like any big deal to you, but at the time I wasn't drinking

enough water, and I knew it.

My energy was lower than I wanted it to be, and this was just a first step towards getting

what I wanted.

I determined that I had to be patient.

Not expect a perfect score on the first few tries, and resolved to keep at it until it

was easy, natural, and just part of me forever.

Haha, okay don't laugh here, because I found that it all sounded easier said than done.

I tried making tally marks on a paper to keep track of the days I kept with my water-drinking

goal.

Promptly lost my paper on only the third day, I tried placing glasses of water strategically

all around the house in order to remind myself to drink them, and I even made a paper chain

like a first grader would to keep my success going day after day.

Was I perfect?

No.

BUT, I found that through patience I could forgive myself for losing sight for a few

minutes or days, and then just get right back on track.

It's through this patience and self-forgiveness that I was able to FINALLY make this a habit.

Once I buckled down, got on the patience wagon, and kept at it, I was able to make a permanent

change.

This was just the first step to many steps that I needed.

You should take notes here: One change at a time.

One to five minutes at first.

Small changes.

No more seeking for large dramatic changes that would overwhelm me.

I decided to take a new skill or idea all the way to 'easy habit' before adding

another small one on.

I know that doing this can do amazing things for a person.

Even one new habit a month can amount to a potential of thirty six new desired skills

in just three short years.

That can make a monumental difference in your life.

I know it has in mine.

A few more examples of my 'patience experiment' have been reading motivating and educational

materials each day, doing pushups, achieving ten thousand steps daily, focusing on positivity

and gratitude, as well as, you guessed it- making sure my flute is nice and shiny clean

when I put it away daily.

What things can you dream of achieving?

If it really came true would you feel like a superhero?

I know I do.

And, I'm not done, because the next step is now to eliminate one negative habit each

month.

Whoa.

This is getting intense right!

Nobody likes to focus on their naughty habits, but if we want to achieve real greatness,

we must.

Easy, small achievements with patience in mind.

An example of this could be keeping from biting finger nails, popping knuckles, criticising

a spouse or family member, or whatever it may be.

We all have something we can improve on.

Taking ten big cleansing breaths is something we can do while controlling the urge is sometimes

all it takes.

These things are free.

No money or time involved either.

Just start small right?

Next, I determined to practice creatively on my flute each day.

Sound fun?

It is.

I can get more into these details another day, but I wanted you all to know that I have

done something with my practicing that really works.

I cap my creative practice time to just fifteen minutes.

Why you ask?

Because I want to leave this part of my practice session (which is my new habit I've been

forming) with a craving for the next session instead of thinking of it as a time-burden

that could suck the life from my excitement faster than anything.

I know I've probably given way too much information on myself in this episode, but

my hope is that you learn from my experiments, and find ways to feel fulfilled in your intentions

every single day.

I like to live life on purpose… instead of allowing life to live me.

If you've had a difficult time making and creating life changes like I was having, remember

that trying harder and thinking you need to go bigger is possibly just the opposite of

what really needs to happen.

The superhero skills come by focusing on one small thing, for a few seconds or minutes

at a time, consecutively.

Then move on from there.

Well, I appreciate you and your journey.

I also hope that you will come to the comment sections of these audios and let me know what

you think.

I'm releasing these all week by week still, and will be pointing students at different

discussions at different times by either linking in a module lesson or sending it out via email.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - REVIEW (Nintendo Switch) - Duration: 5:01.

It's been six year since The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim originally hit store shelves and

though I've tried multiple times to love it there was some kind of barrier holding

me back.

Turns out it was the TV.

Taking the freeing world of Skyrim outside of the shackles of its restrictive setup was

the best thing that ever happened to it and enjoying this adventure on the tiny Switch

makes it feel like it's brand new again.

We've come a long way from The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey on the Nokia Ngage.

So what version of Skyrim is this exactly?

Well we put together a comparison video and the results seem to suggest it's somewhere

in the middle of 2011's vanilla version and last year's special edition.

You have the new water shaders, lighting, faster loading and new assets of the Special

Edition

But that lighting is still paired back considerably at specific times of day and the draw distance

can feel more in line with Xbox 360.

Last year's Special Edition wasn't exactly rolling in new features but quick saving has

made its way over to the Switch and I couldn't be more thankful.

Skyrim doesn't autosave all that often and losing precious moments of open world exploration

can really sting.

Of course the big selling point of special edition was mods and sadly they're nowhere

to be found on Switch.

You'll have to ask yourself if portability is more important to you when choosing between

both versions.

So there are some compromises but the end result is a well-made version of Skyrim that

rarely ever seems to slowdown both Docked and Undocked.

In fact it may even run better than its PS4 counterpart.

This is an outstanding port and even with it being a six year old game this is one of

the titles I would show people when asking what the Switch is all about.

It's a massive high quality AAA game in the palm of your hands and it's never felt

so good.

The Elder Scrolls it the closest video games have come to creating a living breathing game

of dungeons and dragons.

For instance if you enhance your character's speech skills you'll sometimes be able to

avoid combat all together or you can focus on being a dark mage who crumbles the world

with their powerful magic.

Everyone starts off as a blank slate and it's up to you to decide how your character grows

and who they are as a person.

That alone makes every playthrough unique but the real draw of Skyrim is that it never

really ends.

I mean there is a main questline which finishes in a rather anticlimactic fashion but it's

not about beating Skyrim.

Skyrim is an escape.

You can be commuting back from a hard day of work, slide out your Switch and all of

a sudden be wisped away to a second life.

With the included expansions of Dragonborn, Hearthfire and Dawnguard it's easy to see

how people can spend a thousand hours with this game.

That's not to say it's perfect though.

Skyrim is jack of all trades but master of none.

The first person melee combat feels pretty weak with its floaty flails, you'll run

into small slopes that are just a tad too high to run up, you'll get physically stuck

when trying to climb up mountains and while the world and its character are engrossing

things can at times feel robotic with stiff animations and your run of the mill Skyrim

glitches.

Picking apart specific parts of Skyrim highlights tons of areas for improvement but miraculously

few of them really matter in the grand picture.

When I reflect on my time with Skyrim I think of battling sprawling dragons and convincing

guards that I didn't steal a coin purse even though they looked me in the eye and

saw me steal that coin purse.

It's janky, yes, but the world building is unparalleled.

You can even make significant political impacts along the story that really change the social

dynamics of towns.

You feel important as a character in Skyrim regardless if you're following the main

quest line or just existing in this vast open world.

And for Nintendo fans not only does Mr Mario himself, Charles Martinet voice a dragon but

you can also wield the Master Sword, Champions Tunic and Hylian Shield with and without amiibo.

If you wanted you could name your character Link and use nothing but the Zelda gear and

a bow.

May as well call it The Elder Scrolls V: Breath of the Wild.

Speaking of bows, Skyrim on Switch now has optional motion controls and while waggling

to swing your sword is something you'll probably only does once, aiming with gyro

controls is here to stay.

It's so much easier to line up quick precise shots and it's really going to benefit those

who build their archery skill tree.

I'm thankful that the Switch version of Skyrim has finally allowed me to appreciate

this game for everything it does well and for those in the same situation as me I think

it could very well do it for you too.

That being said if you've already put hundreds of hours into other versions should you still

pick it up on Switch?

Well I think playing it in handheld mode is a real game changer and is something both

fans and newcomers will appreciate but keep in mind that it's pretty much the exact

same game just with minor tweaks here and there.

Though I had some issues with Skyrim in general I liked it a lot.

The Switch port is near masterful and there are few games that bring so many different

mechanics together in harmony like Skyrim.

Sure it's not all perfect but whether you're trudging through the snowy mountains or riding

horseback across a vast field it's hard not to lose yourself in the vast world of

Skyrim.

things gaming too.

Biking Around The Sea Wall Of Vancouver - Duration: 4:43.

Biking is an efficient way to move and sightseeing, it has the perfect speed.

It is also healthy and fun!

When you see a nice landscape you can just stop and take a break.

I am biking on the sea wall.

The sea wall is the big bike lane at the north of Vancouver which goes along the shore so

you can see al the beaches, the sea, the boats, it's very nice.

Those green beaches are the place where canadian meet, do sport and have fun.

This place is full of good energy and nice people,

on sunny days, it is really an awesome place!

Behind me you can see the big buildings of downtown.

Here, over there.

The sea wall bike track is pretty long.

it goes along the north beaches of the University of British Columbia then goes all around Stanley

Park and then goes back to Vancouver downtown.

About 20km along the sea.

A good workout on sunday morning!

There you can see the trees of Stanley Park, it's an island so we are surrounded by water

as you can see here.

And there, the buildings are the other side of Vancouver.

You can see behind the lion's gate bridge.

It's a very big bridge crossing the sea

from this island, the Stanley Park island to the north of Vancouver.

So I think I am almost at the half of the track, so...

I left the seawall because it was busy so I went inside the Stanley Park.

With the streets and cars and you can see the big big big trees.

They are conifers or pine trees.

I don't know in English really, but... yeah it's very nice and fresh

because there is no sun.

Everything is like in a darkness.

On the way, I found a garden of roses of every colours like red, rose, pink, white, orange.

They are so nice!

That is the end of the seawall trip and so I am back at the Vancouver downtown,

you can see the buildings over there.

I hope you liked the video, you can subscribe below, the red button and you can like.

So see you!
