For Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.

Just days after Lil Peep died from a suspected overdose, his older brother is saying that

his death was an accident.

Oskar Ahr spoke out about the loss of his brother and the misconceptions about the rapper's

life.

He told People Magazine,

"We [the family] have heard there was some sort of substance he did not expect to be

involved in the substance he was taking.

He thought he could take what he did, but he had been given something and he didn't

realize what it was."

Oskar said that contrary to what everyone believes, Lil Peep was in good mental health

before he died.

He said the emo, drug-addicted persona was an act to sell music but that his brother

was actually a happy person.

"He was super happy with where he was in life.

It makes me laugh to think about the days we watched WWE together but [Peep] mentioned

how being a hip-hop artist is like being a pro-wrestling character.

You have to be an actor.

He gets paid to be sad.

It's what he made his name on.

It's what his image was in a sense."

However Lil Peep's brother did admit that he had a history of drug use but that it was

heightened because of the music industry.

Oskar told People that earlier on he didn't drink alcohol and that he can guarantee that

drugs would not be a part of Lil Peep's life if he was not immersed in that culture.

Lil Peep was found dead Wednesday on his tour bus in Tuscon, Arizona.

Pima County medical examiner's office said he died from an apparent drug overdose; however,

it will not be confirmed until toxicology results come back.

This Is Who Just Survived An Assassination Attempt And What He's About To Do To Hillary Will DESTROY - Duration: 5:13.

This Is Who Just Survived An Assassination Attempt And What He's About To Do To Hillary

Will DESTROY Her!

Hillary Clinton's hit men have been busy as her startling trail of dead bodies is accumulating

around her at an accelerated rate recently.

In just the past 48 hours, we've reported of two sudden and mysterious deaths of people

who hold some of her deepest secrets.

Now, we're learning of a third individual she's tied to, who was luckier than the

numerous others before him since he managed to escape a harrowing ordeal with his life.

Despite an apparent attempt to take him out, he lived and is about to get his revenge that

will completely destroy this woman who should have been in prison by now.

There's a lot of people with dirt on Hillary that she's desperate to keep hidden no matter

who she has to kill to keep it quiet.

William D. Campbell was one of those people who holds the key to her jail cell with what

he was about to reveal in court on Monday with his testimony he's scheduled to make.

Knowing this damning day for Hillary was fast approaching, it seems that she tried to stop

it before it could happen.

That's now come back to bite her since Campbell wasn't ready to die and is more driven to

get revenge than ever before.

Your News Wire reports:

William D. Campbell, a Russian insider who is due to testify to a Senate committee on

Monday that Hillary Clinton accepted bribes in the uranium scandal, has gone into hiding,

telling close friends that he has already survived one attempt on his life.

William D. Campbell is due to testify against the Clintons on Monday – a testimony that

legal analysts warn could put Clinton behind bars for "twelve plus years" – however,

Campbell has raised fears that he might not make it to the hearing on Capitol Hill.

Warning that he has "already survived one attempt on my life since it was made public

by the Sessions DOJ that I intend to testify," Campbell claims that if it wasn't for the

fact he was carrying, he would have been killed during a routine daily hike in the hills behind

his home.

Explaining that he was surprised by an armed man in the woods, Campbell said he drew his

weapon and held the man's gaze until he disappeared.

"I was prepared for any eventuality," Campbell said, explaining that "the stakes

are very high, I understand that.

Was this man connected to anybody I plan to testify against on Monday?

I have no proof.

But I can't take risks, which is why I have gone into hiding until Monday."

Investigative reporter John Solomon from The Hill told Sean Hannity on Thursday that William

D. Campbell, a former consultant for a Russian firm, has video of briefcases full of money

used to bribe US officials in the Russia uranium scandal involving Hillary Clinton.

The deal where a Russian supported company bought a uranium firm with mines in the U.S.

and is responsible for 20% off all the Uranium we have in the United States.

Campbell gave information to the FBI about what he saw while undercover as an informant.

All clues point to the fact that Campbell, who was undercover for roughly five years,

worked to get information on Russia's efforts to grow its atomic energy business in the

U.S.

"At the time of the sale, Campbell was a confidential source for the FBI in a Maryland

bribery and kickback investigation of the head of a U.S. unit of Rosatom, the Russian

state-owned nuclear power company.

Campbell was identified as an FBI informant by prosecutors in open court and by himself

in a publicly available lawsuit he filed last year," according to Reuters.

"Campbell's lawyer, Victoria Toensing, who has not previously identified her client,

said despite Campbell telling the government 'how corrupt the company was,' Rosatom

still got permission to buy Uranium One.

She did not say what Campbell would reveal regarding any alleged wrongdoing by Clinton."

Campbell was lucky to alleged avoid assassination since at the same time this allegedly occurred,

another informant wasn't so lucky.

Houston Texas trial attorney and Democrat mega-donor Steve Mostyn died on Thursday in

what authorities are saying was an apparent "suicide," according to the Houston Chronicle.

Mr. Mostyn was only 46.

He left behind a wife and several children.

And interestingly enough earlier this year he had announced that he was going to be stepping

away from politics to spend more time with his family.

He had never had any declared mental health issues.

Now here is the best part of the whole story.

Mostyn was very close to Crooked Hillary Clinton and her campaign but apparently, their relationship

came under severe stress back in 2015 when an ethics watchdog group Foundation for Accountability

and Civic Trust (FACT) filed a formal complaint against Hillary and her campaign for illegal

coordination with the Ready for Hillary Super PAC.

The extent of Mostyn's ties to the Clintons hasn't been fully disclosed but he seems

to have been a major player in their inner circle for years.

No doubt the timing of his death is especially alarming considering crooked Hillary Clinton

has once again found herself at the center of scrutiny for alleged dirty dealings during

her time as Secretary of State with the Uranium One deal in which she and her foundation were

paid off to approve a deal effectively turning over 20% of our Uranium deposits to the Kremlin.

Google Pixel Buds review - Duration: 7:19.

These are Google's Pixel Buds. They're kind of, sort of, Google's answer to Apple AirPods.

They're wireless earbuds, though not truly wireless, and they cost about

the same amount of money, $159. On one hand they're really good wireless

earbuds that do a lot of the basics well, while also teasing that seemingly

inevitable future of having super computers in our ears.

On the other hand there are a couple of tiny nitpicky flaws that when

added together kind of mar the experience.

Up front though we have to start with one of the features

that Google's hyping the most about the Pixel Buds and that's real-time translation.

Can you tell me where the train station is?

Can you tell me where the train station is?

I can, the train station is over there.

It's sort of wrong.

Can you tell me where the bathroom is?

Can you tell me about where the washroom is?

There is a toilet nearby.

That's good to hear.

There's a toilet not far from here.

Can you tell me how to get to the train station?

Are you able to tell me how to get to the train station?

Walk to the next block, go straight and turn right.

Go straight and turn right.

Hello and thanks for helping out.

Hello and thanks for helping out.

Is that kind of right?

Yeah it is, it is. It's taking a while to translate it.

Do you know how to get to the train station?

Tell me how to get to the train station.

What's wrong about it?

It would just be a bit like,

you're kind of like, it's using the imperative so he would be a bit like, not very polite

to just stop someone and say, "Tell me how to get to the train station." It would say, "Can you tell me how ..."

So this is as if

I was a rude five-year-old?

Yes.

Hey.

Hey Dami, thank you for helping us with this.

Wait, so am I speaking into the app or am I speaking at the Pixel Buds?

That's also weird, you are speaking into the app, but it's reading it out in English to me.

Oh so you can hear it in English.

So what it's showing up here it's reading to me in English.

Would you rather hear both though?

No.

Can you tell me how to get to the train station?

I told them how to get to the train station.

Wow. This is not super accurate.

Oh yeah?

Yeah.

What did it get wrong?

Just like a lot of grammar, and you're speaking to me in a really informal way.

This seems to be a problem with it is that it's very rude in the way that it's translating things.

I'm sensing a bit of hostility from you.

The one common thread we saw across all the languages is that the translation is

pretty crude so you're probably going to come across as sounding a little bit

rude or maybe even kind of like a five-year-old and that's not a problem

with the pixel buds themselves it's really just a problem with where

translation apps are at this point in time and that's really all this is.

It's not like the pixel buds are doing magic to translate conversations it's just

leaning on the Google Translate app that already, probably, exists on your phone.

The weirdest thing for me is that with pixel buds you're adding a whole nother

device into what is already an awkward situation when you're trying to speak

somebody else's language and it makes it a bit more impersonal. My co-workers

didn't really seem to have much of a problem with it, just testing it out, but

I know for myself I would probably rather just use the app on the phone as

opposed to adding a whole another device into the situation.

Now there may very well be a time one day where everybody is wearing the Pixel Buds

and using them to talk to people across languages and borders but that

future is not here yet. This current version of the project is only teasing

and it's not delivering on it. Google assistant however, is much further

along and here's the best thing about it on the Pixel Buds: it is stupid fast.

You just tap the right earbud and you're already talking to the assistant.

You don't have to wait for it to confirm that it's heard you or anything you just

tap talk and it's off to the races. It's so fast that I found myself begging for

reasons to use it. I usually only use the assistant for things like weather or

alarms, especially on headphones.

That said, I think Google's assistant is the

best of the ones out there and having it less than a second away definitely feels

like a genuine step forward. I found myself using it in ways that I never had,

like asking it to tell me how long it'll take me to get home on the subway or

asking it to read me the news while I walk from the subway back home.

So let's set all these fantastical and futuristic features aside now, because while they

might be useful in a pinch, what you're going to be using the Pixel Buds for the

most is listening to music that's coming from your phone and in the right setting

they do that really well. They reproduce audio really clearly. There's a little

bit of depth to it, more than I expected to find on earbuds this size and they'll

do that for a while too. Google advertises about five hours of listening time and I

found that as long as you're not using the assistant a ton, you'll get at least

four hours of what they're claiming. But the open air design of these earbuds,

Google calls it semi occluded, is a totally double-edged experience.

On the one hand it's good for situations like running where you want to have sound

from the outside world coming in, but on the other hand it means that sound can

totally drown out the music listening experience. Especially if you're in a big

city like New York. I found myself hearing buses, trains, traffic,

people walking by me instead of the music that I wanted to listen to. There was even one

point where I actually heard the music from someone else's headphones instead

of my own music. That's annoying.

That brings us to the last part of the

experience with the Pixel Buds, which is the case. I really want to like this

thing and for the most part I do. It's got a nice soft touch finish to it.

It has a couple extra charges worth of battery in it and it will even quick charge the

Pixel Buds. Ten minutes will give you about an hour, which is awesome.

The problem comes from just how finicky the processes is of getting

the buds back in the case. You have to put them in one by one and then you have to

wrap the cord around just the right way or else the case won't close and Google

even had to put a sticker on the inside of the case to teach people how to do that.

Now the way that you get Pixel Buds to fit in your ears also has a couple issues.

You have to tug on this little loop of the cable that connects the two

earbuds together, which is a nice idea, but that cable tends to slip over time

and so I found that pulling them out of the case the cable has slipped or even

when I have them in my ears the cable slips and I have to constantly readjust

them to keep them fitting in my ears the right way. Now the touchpad on the right

is really fast for Google assistant, which is great and you can tap to play

and pause music and you can even swipe to control the volume, but it's super

sensitive and so you have to be careful. I found myself getting lots of

accidental taps and swipes especially when I took the earbuds out of my ears

and went to put them back in the case. That was really frustrating because I

would hear music starting to play again or I would lose my place in a podcast.

It just seems like an easy problem that Google could fix if the earbuds know

that they're out of your ears. Now these are admittedly little frustrations,

but when you add them all up together it makes for a more problematic experience

than I was expecting with Pixel Buds. There are a lot of good ideas in this

product and I'm excited to see what Google does with that going forward.

It's just painfully obvious right now that this is their first attempt at making

wireless earbuds.

Jake Gyllenhaal Rumored to Be Replacing Ben Affleck as Batman - Duration: 1:33.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch,

...and you can take this next story with a healthy grain of salt, but this works just

as well as a thought experiment.

Rumors have surfaced that Jake Gyllenhaal might end up assuming the Bruce Wayne/Batman

mantle as Ben Affleck looks to gracefully exit the role.

This isn't the first time we'd heard rumors of Affleck possibly being done with playing

the role of Batman.

Talk of Affleck dropping the character coincided with word of him no longer directing The Batman

which is now being directed by Matt Reeves, and the script he wrote for the film is no

longer being used.

Even his brother Casey lowkey appeared to confirm that Ben was done as Battfleck.

During a recent interview with Extra, when asked about how many times he will play Batman

(comparing it to the five times he's hosted Saturday Night Live), Affleck said, "We'll

see what the future holds."

The latest rumor regarding Affleck's future on the Batman comes from John Campea's podcast

where he answers a question regarding what would happen to Batman if Affleck

steps down.

According to Campea, Jake Gyllenhaal's the guy that was on the top of the list, especially

for The Batman director Matt Reeves.

It's no secret that Affleck wants out as Batman, but considering Justice League opens this

weekend, I still think we're a long way off from casting a new dark knight, but it's still

fun to speculate who could take over as Bruce Wayne.

Post Malone Says Justin Bieber Has Given His 'Culty' Church $10 Million - Duration: 1:29.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch,

Post Malone's recent feature in Rolling Stone was revealing in so far that he's a

fan of Olive Garden his extensive—and wildly expensive—loafer collection, and his "super

religious" past.

In addition, we learned Malone's feelings about another super-religious person, his

"genuine friend" Justin Bieber.

The "Rockstar" rapper said that Bieber is "a fucking awesome, great dude," but

is concerned about the pop star's relationship with the controversial Hillsong Church.

"It's a total cult.

He's already given them, like, $10 million."

A "source close to Bieber" denied that figure to Rolling Stone.

On top of everything else, we found out that Malone is a gun-obsessed conspiracy theorist

who might be preparing for the apocalypse.

The 22-year-old rapper discussed his arsenal of weapons after writer Jonah Weiner noticed

a copy of Guns & Ammo on his counter.

"I love shooting.

The feeling is pure...inebriation.

It's like hitting a punching bag to let off steam.

They're fun, they're practical, and bad shit happens.

If you hurt me, I'm gonna hurt you back […] The world is going to shit.

They're taking away a lot of our rights.

We have a shitty thing going on in the White House—I don't like Trump.

But I don't think it's just him.

Something's coming.

There's crazy shit that goes on that we can't explain.

Chemtrails and shit.

Like, they have a gun that gives you a heart attack, and they can't tell the difference."

His paranoia isn't too surprising considering his interests in "alternative news" and

"conspiracy shit."

11 Chrome Settings You Should Change Now! - Duration: 10:27.

How's it going everyone, I'm ThioJoe, and today we're going to take a look at 11 settings

in Google Chrome that you should probably change.

These may be things you'll want to disable, or cool stuff that is disabled by default,

that you will want to enable.

Now, I'm using version 63 of Chrome, which is actually the current beta version, so if

you're watching this video at a later date, or you're not using the beta version, things

may look a bit different, so don't be surprised at that.

I think you'll find these interesting, and also be sure to subscribe for more videos

like this, and enable notifications by clicking the bell, or YouTube is not going to show

you my new videos even if you do subscribe, because the YouTube algorithm is a steaming

dumpster fire.

Anyway, let's get started.

To start off, we have a feature that last I checked is enabled by default that you probably

want to disable.

So go to settings, click advanced, then under system look for the option called "Continue

running background apps when Google Chrome is closed."

I don't know about you, but when I close Google chrome, I expect it to actually close, and

not have apps keep running in the background I don't know about.

I mean really, what browser apps do I want to keep running, if I'm not even using the

browser?

So yea, I'd disable that if I were you and save some system resources.

Ok, number two, this one is also in the settings page, but this time under Privacy and Security.

Look for the setting that says "Automatically send some system information and page content

to Google to help detect dangerous apps and sites".

This one is disabled by default, but me personally, I think it's worth it to actually enable it.

If you're very privacy conscious you don't have to, but there are so many malicious websites

out there that if more people enable this setting, it'll end up benefitting yourself

in the future.

Plus, it may make it more likely Chrome will detect a new malicious site you go on even

if it hasn't scanned it before.

Alright now all the rest of the settings we're going to go over are actually in a hidden

settings menu called the Chrome Flags menu.

Getting there is really simple, you just go to the URL bar and type in Chrome://Flags,

and hit enter.

It will warn you these are experimental features, so it's best to not go randomly enabling and

disabling features without knowing what they do.

Again this menu might have a different design based on your version of chrome, but the functionality

is the same.

So let's move on.

So for number 3, do a search for a setting called "Show Saved Copy Button".

You can either search for it at the top, or hit Control + F and type it in there.

What this does, is will allow you to load a cached version of a website, if that website

either fails to load, or you are currently offline.

So to enable it, go to the dropdown and select "primary.

That way, you can at least look at a previous version of the website even if it's not live,

which might still be helpful.

With this enabled, on the failed to load page, you'll see a button to load the saved copy.

If you're wondering what the secondary option means, it just changes whether the Load copy

button is on the left or right, so it doesn't really matter.

Next number 4, this one is really great, it's called "Parallel Downloading".

So search for that one and turn it to enabled.

This will let chrome use multiple download threads to speed up the downloading of a file.

This means if a website has a limit for how fast you can download a file, chrome can basically

download multiple parts of that file in parallel, so you can cut the download speed to a fraction.

There's not really much documentation on this feature so I'm not sure how well it works,

and if it does it every time, but I don't see a reason to not enable it unless you start

having issues or something.

By the way, there are extensions that can do this as well, I'm not going to get into

those because it's beyond the scope of this video, but you can look those up.

Hopefully this feature will make those obsolete and just work as well without any extensions.

Moving on, for number 5, look for a setting called "Smooth Scrolling", which is on be

default.

This is a personal preference, but I really hate smooth scrolling so I disabled it.

It just changes the way it feels to scroll on a page, and makes it seem a lot slower

and sluggish.

You can turn it off and on to compare for yourself, but I find when smooth scrolling

is disabled, scrolling with the mousewheel just feels so much more responsive and instant,

whereas there seems to be a bit of a delay otherwise.

That's because to smooth out the scroll movement, it has to slowly build up speed, then slow

down to a halt.

It's not something you would really notice until you compare it for yourself, so try

it out and see.

Number 6, this one is really cool, look for the setting called "New omnibox answers in

suggest types" and enable that.

This makes it so you can type questions and other queries into the omnibox or URL bar,

and it can offer answers right there.

For example, if I type in "2nd president of the USA", it will give me the answer John

Adams right in the auto-complete dropdown, instead of having to do a search for it.

The only problem is, it actually really sucks at working half the time, and you can type

something in one time, and it will answer, and if you type it in again two seconds later,

it won't.

So it's definitely hit or miss, but I guess not bad to have enabled anyway, and you can

always just hit enter to do a google search which will show you the same information.

Ok number 7, I really like this one, it also has to do with the omnibox.

It's a setting called "Omnibox UI Show Suggestion Favicons", that you can enable.

What this does, is when you type something into the URL bar, and it lists the suggestions,

it will now show the favicon, or the site icon next to each result.

So this is really great if you're searching for a website you visited previously, and

the results are from a bunch of different sites, you can more quickly identify results

from the site you're looking for by the icon.

Plus I think it just looks nicer, because before it would just show little icons that

didn't mean anything, and it was sometimes hard to sift through the results.

This is definitely one of my favorites I'd say.

Number 8, this one is something you may or may not want to enable, called "Automatic

tab discarding".

What this will do, is if you have a lot of chrome tabs open, and your computer starts

to run low on memory, it will stop running some tabs you haven't been using.

This way, those tabs are no longer using up resources in the background.

And if you do want to go back to it, Chrome will simply reload the page when you click

on the tab again.

The only downside I can see is if you have tabs running in the background that are actually

doing something, I don't know, like a game or something, you don't want that to close,

because if you refresh it will mess things up.

So you can decide youreslf whether to enable this, based on if your computer runs out of

memory a lot, or if you use a ton of tabs, and what you usually have running in those

tabs.

Onto number 9, this is seriously one of my favorite features that as far as I know is

not enabled by default for some reason.

It's called "Tab audio muting UI control", and makes it really easy to mute annoying

tabs that are playing sounds.

When something is playing sound in a tab, chrome by default will tell you which tab

it is using a little speaker icon.

To mute that tab, you can normally right click it and hit "mute tab".

But if you enable this feature, you can mute the tab simply by clicking on the little speaker

icon.

Sure, it only saves you one click, but it's so simple that it's a no brainer.

Alright coming near the end, number 10 is called "Fast tab/window close".

This is another one I like to have enabled.

Normally when you go to close a tab, Chrome will stop any javascript applets running or

anything else, and once that's all stopped, will close the tab.

But sometimes that might take a second, which will seem like a delay when you're closing

tabs, and can get annoying if you have to close a bunch of tabs at once.

With this, according to the limited documentation, Chrome will immediately close the tab visually,

then shut down anything running from that tab in the background.

I like this because if I close a tab, I want it to just disappear because it's taking up

space, I don't care if Chrome has to take an extra second for it to close it in the

background.

So this is nice.

And finally number 11, this feature is really amazing to enable, called "Scroll Anchoring".

Now it does technically work on desktop I guess, but if you're on Android, you can also

enable this, and that's where it really shines.

Basically, scroll anchoring can help prevent the page from jumping whenever you go on a

site, and it keeps loading new stuff.

For example, how many times have you gone to a site, and you start reading it on your

phone, and the STUPID FREAKIN ads start loading, and pushing everything out of the way, SO

obnoxious.

When scroll anchoring is working, you won't actually notice, because it simply stops the

page from doing that.

But over time I'm sure you'll start to take note that it happens less and less often.

And I guess this does happen on desktop every once in a while too, just less often, but

still worth it to keep enabled.

So, that's everything hope you enjoyed it.

Tyrese Wins Court Case, Granted 50/50 Custody of Daughter - Duration: 1:14.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch.

On Friday, Tyrese scored a big 'W' in his publicly playing out court case against his

wife, Norma Gibson, who he has been battling for custody of their 10-year-old daughter,

Shayla.

According to TMZ, the judge presiding over the case ruled that the former couple will

get 50/50 custody of their child, starting in January.

Also according to TMZ, the two have worked out a visitation plan that will allow the

Fast and Furious star to see Shayla during the holiday season.

As you have probably guessed by now (if you've been following this at all) this means that

the judge ruled against Norma's request for a permanent restraining order against her

ex-husband.

Tyrese didn't have much to say as he exited the courthouse.

He did repeat several times, in what appeared to be a half-joking manner, that Michael Moore

needs to call him because he has "700 hours of footage" that documented the whole ordeal.

He followed up with that theme later on social media.

Over the past few weeks we've seen a lot of drama in this case, from Tyrese blaming The

Rock for his monetary woes and family problems, to Tyrese going to the hospital for chest

pains after leaving the courthouse, to Tyrese making an emotional plea that he later said

was caused by a bad reaction to prescription medications.

That's all for now, for everything else subscribe to Complex on YouTube, for Complex News, I'm
