NAACP MEMBERS SAY 'STAR SPANGLED BANNER' IS RACIST, DEMAND REMOVAL AS NATIONAL ANTHEM - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 2:07.

Members of the California NAACP are demanding Congress remove "The Star Spangled Banner"

as the National Anthem, claiming one of the verses is racist.

The demand comes in the way of a resolution passed by the California branch of the civil

rights group, which was written in response to President Trump's demand that NFL players

who kneel during the anthem be fired.

The Sacramento Bee reports that the resolution calls the anthem "one of the most racist,

pro-slavery, anti-black songs in the American lexicon."

California NAACP Vice President Alice Huffman said Congress should find a replacement that

doesn't "disenfranchise part of the American population," according to the Sacramento

Bee.

Fox5Vegas.com has more details on the specific words the NAACP protests.

A third verse from "The Star-Spangled Banner," includes the lyric: "No refuge could save

the hireling and slave.

From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave."

The verse is thought to refer to African-American slaves who fought for the British during the

War of 1812 in hopes of winning their freedom.

The organization also passed a second resolution in support of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback

Colin Kaepernick, who was the first NFL player to kneel during the national anthem before

a game.

Huffman said she wrote both resolutions after President Donald Trump said NFL owners should

fire players who protest during the anthem.

Assemblyman Travis Allen, an opponent of the resolutions, said in a statement to the Sacramento

Bee that "our flag and national anthem unite us as Americans" and "real social change

can only happen if we work together as Americans first."

"The Star-Spangled Banner" has been the nation's anthem since 1931.

The origin of the anthem's third verse is not clear, and many disagree as to whether

it voices support for slavery.

News of tragedy broke across the country Sunday when a deranged gunman opened fire at a small

church in rural Sutherland Springs, Texas.

Details of the heroes involved in the pursuit of the killer have also emerged.

As The Daily Caller reported, CNN's John Berman interviewed Johnnie Langendorff, one

of the two heroes involved in the shooting and pursuit of the killer, Devin Kelley.

Langendorff used his truck to pursue Kelley, with Stephen Willeford aiming his rifle from

the passenger seat, to put a stop to the deadliest shooting in Texas history.

After Kelley opened fire at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, hero Stephen

Willeford used his own rifle to confront Kelley.

Willeford shot Kelley in the leg and the torso, despite ballistic body armor worn by Kelley.

The injury caused the killer to flee in his vehicle.

Langendorff happened to be driving down the road when he came upon Willeford, who flagged

him down asking for a ride to pursue Kelley.

The chase spanned approximately eight miles and lasted 12-15 minutes.

Langendorff weaved through traffic at high speeds while Willeford kept his rifle affixed

on Kelley's car.

The heroes managed to feed information to 911 during the chase.

When asked what went through his mind that caused him to chase Kelley, Langendorff replied:

"Nothing — get him."

When prompted to elaborate, he simply said: "Because that's what you do.

You chase the bad guy."

"I had to make sure he was caught," Langendorff said of Kelley.

He noted that he didn't hesitate when Willeford warned, "you may have to use your truck

to get him off the road."

The hero duo was committed to putting an end to Kelley's devastation — no matter the

consequences.

He then gave credit to his hero passenger.

"From what I know, he was just taking a nap and heard the gunshots and reacted."

He continued, "He's very much a hero–he acted quicker than he could think as well

… He did absolutely the right thing which was try and take him down on the scene."

"Grabbed his gun before he grabbed his shoes," Berman noted of Willeford.

Before the chase, Willeford, a former National Rifle Association instructor, fired at Kelley,

who had dropped his AR-15 rifle to wield one of his handguns.

The two engaged in a firefight.

Upon being struck twice, Kelley retreated to his vehicle and fled.

He was only stopped once he crashed into a field and was found unresponsive.

Officials said Kelley shot himself in the head after phoning his father to say he wasn't

going to make it.

Just hours after the tragedy, Democrats were politicizing the massacre by calling for gun

control.

They criticized American citizens' possession of "assault rifles," somehow implying

that a ban might stop incidents such as these, and last month's Las Vegas shooting, from

occurring.

However, this narrative is largely flawed.

The Democrats' narrative fails to consider that most gun deaths in America are committed

by handguns, not rifles at all.

Additionally, the AR-15 rifle that Democrats consider an "assault rifle" is the same

rifle used by Stephen Willeford to stop Devin Kelley.

Willeford credited his firearm skills and God for guiding and protecting him in the

confrontation that ultimately put a stop to further loss of life at Kelley's hands.

It's uncertain what would have occurred had Willeford and Langendorff not been in

the right place at that crucial moment.

Two heroes — one with a gun — prevented an even greater loss of life, no matter how

much Democrats want to refute it.

279441 - Replacing Your Dryer's Ring Bearing AP2996731 PS334199 - Duration: 3:40.

Hi I am Jordan and today I am going to show you how to replace the ring bearing on your

dryer model.

The reason you might need to change this part is if your ring bearing is broken or just

causing your machine to make loud noises.

For this repair you'll need a 5/16 snut driver, a flathead screw driver, a phillips head screw

driver and a putty knife before doing any repairs please disconnect your power source.

So this is our dryer model yours might look different just keep in mind these same techniques

can apply to any dryer appliance.

The first thing that we are going to do is take out our lint filter, with your phillips

head screw driver, take out these screws just keep in mind that when you take out these

two screws that you dont lose them.

So with our putty knife, we are just going to flip it open just like that then just disconnect

the wire harness then we are just going to remove the screws holding in our front panel.

After you have taken out those two screws just lift up from the front panel and bring

it to the side.

So this is our drum, our ring bearing is usually located right here from the top and the bottom

we are missing ours so in order to fix that, we are going to grab our new OEM replacement

ring bearing, if you don't have one of these bearings already you can find them on our

online store.

For this process we are missing half so we are just going to replace it.

Before placing in your new part make sure that the tab are clicked in with the opening

right here just like that. Once you have done that reassemble your machine.

So then we are going to take our front panel.

Place it back in, then we are just going to reattach the screws that we took out

previously in the front panel.

Then just reattach the wire harness.

Then we are gonig to place back our top cover.

Then we are going to take our the screws we took out previously with our Phillips head

screwdriver just hold the vent back down Once you have done that.

Just reattach the filter and your repair is complete finally font forget to plug in your

appliance if you need to replace any parts for your appliances you can find an OEM replacement

part on our website.

and today I'm going to show you how to replace the drum on your dryer model.

The reason you might need to change this part is if your drum is broken.

For this repair, you'll need a 5/16 nut driver, flat head screwdriver, a phillips head screwdriver,

and a putty knife.

Before doing any repairs please disconnect you power source.

So this is our dryer model

yours might look different

just keep in mind these same techniques

can apply to any dryer appliance.

The first thing we're going to do is take out our lint filter.

With your phillips head screwdriver remove these two screws.

Just keep in mind when you take out these two screws that you don't lose them.

So with our putty knife

just going to flip it open

just like that.

Then just disconnect the wire harness.

Then we're just going to remove the screws holding in our front panel.

After you've taken out those two screws just lift up on the front panel

bring it to the side.

Pull the belt along the pulley wheel and then bring the belt around the motor shaft.

Once you've removed the idler pulley just take your old drum and pull it out.

make sure you hold on to the belt as you're doing it.

Before you dispose your old drum, you can reuse the belt

for your new drum.

Next, we're going to grab our new oem replacement drum

if you don't have one of these drums

already you can find them on our online store.

So we're going to use our old belt that we use on our old drum and use it on the new.

Make sure that the ribbed side of the belt is up against the drum itself.

So take your belt

place it inbetween these two screws

just line it up.

Once you've done that just place your new drum in the cabinet

and reattach your idler pulley.

Pull the belt along the pulley wheel and then bring the belt around the motor shaft.

So then we're going to take our front panel

place it back in

then we're just to reattach

the screws we took out previously in the front panel.

Then just reattach the wire harness.

Then we're going to place back our top cover.

Then we're going to reattach the screws we took out previously with our phillips head screwdriver

just hold the vent back down.

Once you've done that, just reattach the filter

and your repair is complete.

Finally don't forget to plug in your appliance.
