Youtube daily Jan 28 2018

The Search Engine Google is showing a Doodle for Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng.

Today it is the 65th Birthday of Teresa Teng.

Teresa Teng was born on 29th January 1953.

She was a Taiwanese legend in singing.

She was known for her folk songs and loving ballads, such as "When Will You Return?" and

"The Moon Represents My Heart".

She noted songs not only in her native Mandarin Chinese but also in Hokkien, Cantonese, Japanese,

Indonesian and English.

She also spoke French fluently.

Teng, a longtime victim of asthma, died from a severe respiratory attack while on vacation

in Thailand in 1995, at the age of 42.

Teresa Teng was born in Tianyang Village at Taiwan Province in Republic of China on 29

January 1953, to mainland Chinese parents.

Her father was a soldier in the Republic of China Armed Forces from Daming, Hebei and

her mother was from Shandong.

She was the single girl, with three older brothers and a younger brother.

She was educated at Ginling Girls High School in Sanchong Township, Taipei County.

As a young child, Teng won honors for her singing at talent competitions.

Her first major flagship was in 1964 when she sang "Visiting Yingtai" from Shaw Brothers'

Huangmei opera movie, The Love Eterne, at an event hosted by Broadcasting Corporation

of China.

She was soon able to care her family with her singing.

ROC's rising business economy in the 1960s made the purchase of records easier for more

families.

With her father's support, she quit high school to pursue singing professionally.

Teng died from a severe asthma attack, though doctors and her partner Paul Quilery had speculated

that she died from a heart attack due to a side effect of an overdose of unnamed amphetamines

while on leave in Chiang Mai, Thailand,at the age of 42 on 8 May 1995.

Best Mobile Video Editing Apps - Duration: 8:14.

for some people editing videos on a laptop is just not possible it could be

because they don't have a laptop or desktop or it could be because they

don't like the video editing software on there it's not user friendly to them or

it could be that it's just too expensive so in this video I'm gonna fix all that

by talking about some best video mobile editing apps that are almost like desktop

video editors that you can use on your phone so be sure to watch till the end

for all the details what's going on my name is Devin

Street helping you build an online presence and make money in the process

and today we're gonna be talking about some of the best video editing apps for

mobile devices that includes Android and iPhone and we're going to be going over

four of them today but if you're not already subscribed to the channel go

ahead and click that subscribe button new videos every Sunday and you podcast

every Wednesday for you to grow your YouTube channel and without further ado

let's get right into it now before I get into this let's just

make it straight I believe in my personal opinion desktop video editors

will always be superior to mobile editors because it just has more power

more ability to do stuff but if you're just doing simple videos then I suggest

going ahead and doing something with a mobile device because you're able to do

it on the go whenever you want it's very easy very convenient and very easy to

share I mean I make all my videos on a mobile device as of now but my sort of

reason for that is not because oh I like mobile devices better it's more of I

want to prove a point that hey you can build a giant massive

popular YouTube channel just from a smartphone and that's really what I want

to get across is that how powerful a smart phone actually is but with that

out of the way our first app is power director now power director is a great

app I personally used to use it but I didn't use it for much besides

just exporting or changing some sounds that I couldn't do on other apps but in

my opinion it's a really great app it's in the timeline format and if you don't

know what the timeline format is it's where you have all your layers laid out

on this long timeline and then you have how long that layer is going to last so

it's very similar to how desk top video editors actually are so if you like that

timeline format if you like multiple layers if you like multiple audio layers

then I would definitely suggest choosing PowerDirector Pro as your app to video

edit but I will say there are some others just like PowerDirector pro that

are a lot more powerful later on in this list so that does lead us to our second

app which is iMovie now iMovie there is a desktop version of this and it sort of

takes that desktop version and goes to a simpler more mobile design now just to

get this straight though it's only on iPhone so lots of Android users they

can't use it it's an issue and I wish that it could be moved over to Android

but with Apple they just won't budge it uses the exact same timeline format as

PowerDirector does which is really great to have almost the desktop format on a

mobile device and one of the great things about iMovie is you can actually

just take a bunch of clips and make them into this trailer and it will throw all

the clips together into this one big template and make a trailer out of it

something that's pretty cool that PowerDirector doesn't offer you and once

again I will say this one definitely isn't as powerful as another app on this

list but it is more powerful than PowerDirector so in my opinion if you

have an Apple device I would choose it over PowerDirector but if you don't have

an Android device right now power directors your best bet but soon I'm

gonna talk about a even more better video editing app and that amazing gray

app is kena master and what can a master is is

I actually use this one for me for my youtube channel I edit with this app and

in my personal opinion it is the most powerful Android and iPhone video

editing app out there it's available for both devices so whether you have your

pixels or your notes or your galaxies or you just have the iPhone 8 7x whatever

there it's gonna work on both so once again Khan master has the exact same

timeline format as something like PowerDirector an iMovie but the

difference here is actually that with kinemaster

you do get some great features very nicely formatted very great for users to

use very simple very quick and it also has lots of powerful features one of

those cues is green screen effects that's what I do in my videos if you

notice behind me this is a green screen I'm not actually standing behind this

blue background right now I'm standing behind a green screen I'm using Khan

master to edit it to where the background behind me is this blue black

background instead of a fuzzy green screen Khan master also adds tons of

audio layers and video layers that you can put into your videos so you may see

that a lot in my videos where I can be using up to 4 or 5 audio layers at a

time I think one of my best examples of how powerful kind master actually is is

if you check out a video called hashtag one year I'll put it in the YouTube card

right now that's probably the biggest project I've done with Kenna master and

I definitely recommend you go check that video out to see the capabilities of

this app but you can also edit in 4k and export in 4k now keep in mind you can't

do 60 frames per second I've tried and sadly it doesn't work but you can export

and edit in 4k video with is pretty great for a mobile device app

but my opinion is the best app on the list but if you're not interested in any

of these so far I have one more left for you and this one is the more ago and

this app is for very basic video editors if you don't want to go into very

technical stuff you really just want to trim the video down and put it together

then Fillmore ago is probably your best option it does not have the timeline

format and it just gives you like basic options of trimming videos cutting them

putting them together adding text and layers and stickers and stuff like that

not the most powerful out of the other ones we've talked about but it's

something for more simple video editors my honest opinion if you really want to

do some top-notch video editing I would recommend any of the first three apps on

this list but if you're going for that simplicity then go with the more go and

the best part is it's absolutely free as to the other apps you have to pay a

subscription so if you really want some very free simple video editing go with

some more ago but that's it that's for mobile apps that you can use to edit

video on your phone and upload it directly to YouTube but if you want to

grow your YouTube channel and know tons of mobile tutorials for YouTube then go

ahead and click the subscribe button and check out the other videos including a

mobile YouTube tutorial playlist in the YouTube in screen right now I want to

thank you for watching and I will see you in the next video

Interview With Hungarian Winemaker: THE PINK GRAPE - Duration: 10:14.

Hello and welcome to The Pink Grape My name is Anthony Metzger I am a winemaker and certified

sommelier.

Here at The Pink Grape I interview winemakers from all over the planet.

I conduct my interviews via Skype and record them live so that I can bring you face-to-face

with winemakers from all over the world.

So without further ado, please enjoy the show and be sure to subscribe.

Well Balaz welcome to the show Wines of the World, thanks for being on today I appreciate

it.

Thank you very much.

And so you are a winemaker from Hungary, is that correct?

Yes thats correct.

And how did you become a winemaker?

Well its very long story first I grew up and was born and raised in the middle of a Hungarian

region but I had no connection with wine in the beginnings at all but I became a..

Well my first experience was around my twenties when I came across such a great wine.

So I started to get into the winemaking and after that I went to college viticulture college

and so that all started suddenly you know.

I read a thing by Robert Parker who said that there was a wine the Tokaji Essencia and he

said it can age for one thousand years.

What is your take on that?

Well I haven't tried it after that long.

But the thing is its a really beautiful and natural and concentrated wine.

Actually it take a really professional level to ferment because its almost bubble by bubble

you have to be very patient.

It is very unique and special.

The story of bulls blood wine in Hungary, you have heard of this one I am sure.

Whats the story, whats the legend behind bulls blood wine?

In the ottoman times when the ottomans tackle the country in from the south, so in Egar

where this wine usually comes from.

There was a big fight between the locals and the emperors.

The Ottomans didn't often drink wine and Hungarians do a lot so they had pink around the mouth.

From drinking wine and the ottomans thought it was technically blood particularly bulls

blood because the locals were so strong and the resistance was so strong.

So they would drink the wine and it would spill on their beards and on their cloths

and the opposition thought it was bulls blood and that they were drinking it to be fearless

as a bull.

Exactly you know legends.

Where have you traveled and made wine?

You have traveled outside of the country and worked as a winemaker, where have you traveled

and made wine?

Well mostly in Hungary but I have traveled to France to Bordeaux especially which has

a special place in my heart.

In the southern hemisphere as well.

New Zealand and Australia.

And you said France has a special place in your heart as far as winemaking goes, why

do you say that?

St Emilion is my second love second because I am married.

I really love the wines.

What about New Zealand and Australia what was it you liked or loved about working in

New Zealand what is it that stood out to you most?

So much different than from Europe.

Different goals, different views, different people, really laid back country I must say.

Really easy going and a whole lot of opportunity to play around a bit with wine and wine growing

and things like this.

I think it is one of the best places probably on the globe to experience winemaking I think.

In the Southern Hemisphere you can try new things and different things compared to like

France, like St Emilion they figured it out I mean they have figured out how to make the

best wine they can but in New Zealand and Australia the new world they are still discovering

what they can and can not do so that is kind of exciting as well.

Absolutely I agree.

What is it that, you are willing to go travel around the world and make wine what is it

that you love about wine most?

Diversity where ever I go no matter the people you always learn something.

I am always told by wine people to learn and experience as much as I can and to never stop

exploring and wine has some magic you know.

it brings people together it opens your mouth up a bit and really most people like to drink

wine at the same time as they are having fun or they are partying, and that is a really

good point.

Winemaking is such natural thing it is always changing.

Everyday you learn something Challenged by the nature challenged by weather, challenged

by your colleagues or even your customers.

So its a really, wine is a really really living product I think and its ever changing thats

why I found it really interesting and fascinating.

Another thing I do on the show is I ask scenario questions to see what kind of wine you would

drink in certain scenarios.

Say you are hanging from a cliff and you are looking down for like a kilometer a really

long James Bond style cliff and at the bottom is the ocean and you see a bunch of great

white sharks swimming in a circle the odds of surviving are not looking good what kind

of wine would you drink in your last couple of minutes hanging on a cliff.

So the drop is probably very short so it must be quick so a small bottles ok, one hand,

screw top, maybe, because you know the sharks so I must say lets drink something white.

And another question I ask is if you could drink a bottle of wine with any person in

the world or anybody from history who would you drink a bottle of wine with?

Jim Morrison So I love Rock-n-Roll and music but so that would be my pick.

Alright Balaz thank you for your time and we will keep in touch.

Okay thank you very much mate and thanks for the opportunity yea my pleasure have a good

one.

Thank you for watching and I hoped you enjoyed this weeks episode of The Pink Grape.

Make sure you check in next week as I will be releasing another interview with a winemaker.

If you have any questions that you would like me to ask a winemaker during any of my interviews

just reach out to me through my social media accounts which you can find on my website

thepinkgrape.com Be sure to check out my website this week, as I will be releasing some really

fun interesting wine stories.

Thank you and please be sure to subscribe!
