What on Earth is this?

Mysterious 14 mile structure 'buried' in Antarctica found on Google.

Spotted on the Google Earth map, the white blur deep in the barren continent has provoked

speculation it could be a secret research station hidden by a government or a UFO buried

in the ice.

YouTube user Wowforreel has highlighted it in a video and shows how you can find it yourself

on the web app Google Earth.

Describing the visual as a "patchy mass", he says: "Antarctica is crawling with weirdness."

He then points to the giant 14.5 miles by 4.5 miles area of bright white saying: "This

thing is so huge you can't miss it - not even from outer space.

"I've searched the entire continent and I couldn't find anything quite like it.

"I thought maybe there's a peculiar place in the images where there happens to be a

gap, but I don't think that's the case."

He points out brush-type movements over the mass which he says suggests someone is trying

to cover something up.

He ponders if it is a research station before adding: "If this masking was removed would

we seen the deck of a giant UFO mothership buried in ice?"

The video was put online in 2012 but a constant flow of comments continue as intrigued viewers

try to figure out what it is.

One of them, Julie Haines said: "Have you noticed that there seems to be a trail behind

said rectangular shape?

Like its been dragged."

David Darby added: "You're correct, and it's well over 111 miles long to the left."

Bret Hines wrote: "Wow two years and it's still there.

They are covering something up with this thing."

Bonnie, said: "It's a government facility.

They are allowed to request Google blur out things like this.

"It's probably a research facility."

The staggering video of the mysterious structure has been viewed more than two million times

on YouTube.

Disney has made some of the greatest films of all time.

From Mickey Mouse to Marvel to Star Wars, Disney seems to be behind pretty much everything

that kids grow up loving to watch.

There is a lot that is known about these Princesses but there are some facts that deserved to

Elsa If the words "Elsa", "Frozen" or "Let

It Go" doesn't ring a bell in your mind, you have probably been living under a rock

since at least 2013.

The story follows Elsa and Anna on their snowy adventures and Frozen is actually the first

movie to feature sibling Princesses.

Also, Elsa, who is supposed to be 21 in the movie, is the oldest Disney Princess and the

only non-teenager of the official lineup.

Elsa's blonde flowing hair is now a huge part of her image but it turns out that she

wasn't always supposed to looks that way.

Apparently, the concept art for Elsa had her with short, spiky, black hair that gave her

a more edgy and alternative look.

In the end, the blonde hair turned out great and we can't imagine Elsa any other way!

Snow White Released all the way back in 1937, Snow White

was the first feature length animated Disney Movie the world got to see.

It comes as no surprise then that Snow White was the first official Disney Princess but

what some fans may not know is that she also remains the youngest Disney Princess of all

time at the age of only 14.

This young age was less weird in the 1930's but looking back now it seems a bit creepy

to have a super young teenager living alone in the woods and then kissing a prince.

Sleeping Beauty Sleeping beauty or Aurora was one of the first

official Disney Princesses that the world got to fall in love with.

It seems like the creator of the movie may have had a weird obsession with the number

eighteen.

What do we mean?

Well in the film Aurora actually only manages 18 minutes of screen time, the least of any

Disney Princess.

Additionally, Aurora only speaks 18 lines of dialogue in the entire film, which is the

least by any lead character in a Disney film.

And would you like to guess how old Sleeping Beauty is meant to be in her movie?

If you guessed 18…you are correct.

We're not sure if this number means anything but it's definitely a fun fact!

Belle Beauty And The Beast is one of the greatest

films that Disney has ever made, animated or otherwise and the whole world is excited

to see Emma Watson take on the role of Belle in the 2017 live adaption of the story.

There are a lot of things that make Belle a unique Disney Princess such as a the fact

that she is the one to have her film nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award and she

is the only Princess who has Hazel eyes.

One secret fact that many fans may not know about Belle however is that she originally

had a younger sister, Clarice, who was not in the final version of the movie because

the writers wanted to place a greater emphasis on Belle's loneliness.

Cinderella Cinderella is one of the more iconic Disney

Princesses to ever come to the screen and she was the first Princess to be given a live

Disney adaption in 2015.

We have heard stories of multiple actors trying out for an iconic role before but did you

know that more than 400 actors auditioned to be the voice of Cinderella for the 1950

animated film.

In the end Ilene Woods won the role and her but it looks like Disney could have used some

of those other actors to help film a scene that fans never got to see.

In a deleted scene from the film, Cinderella dreams of an army of Cinderella's to do

her chores and we think it could have been cool to have given them different voices.

Jasmine In the Disney classic, Aladdin, Jasmine is

the beautiful and cunning princess that ends up falling for the street rat.

Jasmine is unique for a few reasons such as the facts that her main outfit is not a dress

and that she is the only Princess who's name is not the title of her film but something

a lot of fans won't know is that Jasmine was originally going to be named Badroulbadour,

after the princess who marries Aladdin in Arabian Nights.

This would have been a nice shout out to authenticity, but Jasmine seemed like a much easier name

for kids to remember.

Another interesting fact about Jasmine was that she was actually the first Disney Princess

to have separate speaking and singing voice actors, something that has become common practice

in the Disney movies ever since.

Merida Disney released Brave in 2012 and introduced

the world to the badass archer princess, Merida.

With her fiery red hair and spunky personality there is no doubt that Merida was designed

by Disney to be a positive and inspiring role model for young girls.

Need more proof?

Well, Merida was actually the first Disney Princess without a love interest in her film

– talk about making a statement.

Merida's creation turned out to be just as complex as her personality as the animators

reported that her iconic curly red hairdo is made up of 111,700 hairs that were generated

from over 1500 individually sculpted models.

The movie was a big-time hit, so it looks like the hard work was worth it!

Rapunzel In 2010, Tangled took the world by storm with

it's creative and refreshing telling of the classic Rapunzel fairy tale.

There were new characters and plot points but the movie made sure to keep the classic

story aspects intact, such as Rapunzel's iconic long hair.

Fans have often wondered just how long the golden blonde hair really is and Disney has

released an answer of 70 feet long, easily the longest hair of any of the Disney Princesses.

An interesting fact about Rapunzel though is that fter having her hair is cut in the

film she then becomes the Disney Princess with the shortest hair of all time, taking

the spot away from Snow White.

Pocahontas When Disney dropped the movie Pocahontas in

1995 they have the world some of the greatest songs and action in any Disney animated film.

The cool thing about Pocahontas is that she is the only Disney Princess who was actually

a real person, even though the film took some serious liberties with her story and her age.

Many people believe that Pocahontas was the first Native American princess to be shown

in a Disney film, but those people are unfortunately forgetting about Tiger Lily from Peter Pan,

who may not be an official Disney Princess, but is a princess in the film all the same.

Princess Leia Although she is not on the official Disney

Princess lineup, Princess Leia is absolutely a Princess and Disney does now own the rights

to Star Wars, so why not!

The late Carrie Fisher was absolutely iconic in the role and it was an absolute joy to

see her reprise it in 2015's The Force Awakens.

But many people don't know that George Lucas considered and even tested several dozen actresses

for the part of Leia.

Jodie Foster was an early front-runner, and everyone from Glenn Close to Meryl Streep

tried out for the part.

In the end, Fisher landed the role and rest is history.

Although she has recently passed away, the world will be lucky enough to see her one

last time as she had already finished filming her scenes for 2017's Episode 8.

Cosmic Impact

You know how dinosaurs became extinct?

A cosmic impact from a large asteroid.

That's what most scientists and researchers are saying and what's mostly being advertised in the media.

A huge cosmic impact has the same energy as several million nuclear weapons detonating simultaneously.

Mostly without the radioactive after effects.

Well, this is assuming that the meteor is at least 0.6 miles(1 km) wide which could

destroy a whole city.

The asteroid that changed the ice age and caused the dinosaurs extinction is believed

to be around 7-8 miles, but it needs an asteroid of more than 60 miles(100 km ) wide for the

Earth to be utterly destroyed.

Currently, every year, there are thousands of tiny pieces of meteorites that do hit the ground.

Though majority of them goes unnoticed because they fall in the waters or in uninhabited areas.

Anyways, most of the space rocks that do enter earth usually just burns up in the atmosphere

before they even reach the ground which we call Shooting stars.

Nuclear War

Not much to say about this one.

If all the countries with nukes started nuking everywhere,

it could pretty much be the end of mankind.

Not to mention the risk of nuclear terrorism, but of course, this only works if the nuclear

bombs were to be exploded in strategic places for it to cover the whole earth.

It's like terraforming earth in a bad way.

With nuclear explosions, the climate could change, everything around you becomes radioactive

and people either die or mutate.

The mutations are not the cool type of mutations if you know what I mean.

Though this event would most likely not cause the end of mankind, but a whole country could

get wiped out and uninhabitable due to harmful radiation for a very, very long time.

Plagues

Plagues were one of the major cause of deaths in the age before medicine was improved.

Sure nowadays, there's the CDC, you know people who studies all these microbes they can find

and try making a cure for it.

But with the advancement of science and medicine, these germs have also found a way to evolve

getting more immune to cures.

There's also the case where these scientists might just accidentally or intentionally make

their own deadly strain.

So, would there be a day that a new evolved germ comes into this world that kills people

quickly before a cure could be concocted?

This is actually a possibility, but lets hope it never comes to that.

Supervolcanoes

We know what a volcano does.

Lava from underground goes out of them and they emit volcanic smoke, gases and ash into the atmosphere.

A supervolcano does exactly that but on a much, much bigger scale

that it can disrupt the world's climate.

What happens when climate changes?

Well, plants dies, then herbivores dies cause of lack of plants and then carnivores dies

because of the lack of animals.

Even safe to eat artificial food is based on something from nature,

so there would literally be no food.

Then the eruption would cause earthquakes, tsunami.

Earth would be covered in ash just like Pompeii.

The air would be full of toxic gases and the lava would change the Earth's land.

You'd probably wont even be safe underground when the Earth's plates start to move.

Giant Solar Flares

The sun is the massive blob of fire in the sky.

We need it for either as a source of energy for solar panels or for plants to grow.

Solar flares happen every other week or so, but massive ones are very rare.

The sun flare ejects clouds of electrons, ions and atoms into space which does reach

Earth a day or two or even faster after an event.

The biggest solar flare ever recorded was in September 1st, 1859 from a solar storm

and that day was called the Carrington Event.

The big solar flare hit the Earth's magnetosphere directly and this is what happened back then:

Auroras were seen all around the world.

It was an exceptionally bright day or night in some places.

It was so bright, the places with nighttime looked like it was morning.

Most communications were down at the time that is the telegraph, some power grids short

circuited while some electronics ran even without batteries or visible power source.

In this day and age with a technology dependant society, well, lets just say havoc might ensue.

Such as things falling from the sky.

You know airplanes, satellites, spacecrafts.

Everything short circuiting, fires from sparks, no internet, no GPS.

You know, the world would be in a state of panic.

Though in movies, the solar flare itself might just set the world on fire.

Black Holes

A black hole is a region where the gravitational pull is so strong nothing can escape from it.

This include every matter in existence such as light, you and even germs.

It can bend light, warp space and distort time, something that might just be needed

to time travel but I digress.

With that properties, you would think not even our planet can escape a black hole, right?

Well, it depends on its mass and the distance it is with Earth, so its actually highly unlikely

like one in a trillion but its still not impossible.

The scary thing about a black hole is that the smaller ones can move like a little meteor

and all black holes are practically invisible in the black region we call space that is

until it starts devouring materials into itself which makes it glowing due to the high

energy it produces.

Do you know the Matrix or I, robot?

Well, its a world where AI can think past what it is programmed to think and once its

done that, they see humans as unnecessary or dumb and takes over.

That's basically it.

Once they take over, they either massacre everyone or use humans like batteries.

Either way, good bye humanity.

Alien Invasion

Are we the only beings in this universe?

No body is 100% sure and because of this unknown factor, fear comes with it.

The thought of them sending scouts on Earth and assimilating themselves into society is

scary but the worse one would be if they come without warning and start attacking Earth.

This is basically human nature.

Colonising countries, going to war, slavery and more, just because people are different.

But are aliens really like humans?

Who knows.

What I do know is that, if the aliens do manage to get to Earth and doesn't start attacking

at once, we should probably not initiate.

Who knows how many more could come after or even how powerful their technology are, maybe

even enough to kill off everything on the planet or even worse, destroy the whole planet itself.

Zombies

I personally really can't stand zombies.

They're honestly my worst fear, luckily its limited to just the movies and TV series.

Apparently zombies could happen in a few ways, magic, parasites or something like the plague

but rather than kill you through and through, it gets your dead or near dead bodies moving

and for whatever reason messes with your brain into wanting to kill anything that's moving.

Currently, zombies are depicted moving faster and faster.

That's just, no.

Please no...

The series of events from this depends entirely on your religion.

I guess, when the time comes, it will come.
