Grab a piece of paper and a pen and give your initial signature on it

Take a picture on your phone and import that picture on your pc

Open that picture in illustrator

Then grab the pen tool and start creating a path on the picture

It will take some time and some practice too

Just give some stroke weight

And after that it's almost ready

Select the path and go to object – expand click - OK

Grab the direct selection tool and give some rounded corner

Grab the type tool and write the other text

Make some adjustment if need

Now your signature type photography logo is ready

Hello everyone ! Happy new year !

i hope 2017 bring lucky to our houses !!

For me the 2016 was one of my best years because...

i meet on youtube to many friends !

i collaborate with some of them ,

and was an opportunity to me to share with all of you my love for wood turning !!

i need to thanks all of you for your support !!!

And we start the new year with a salad bowl from eucalyptus wood !!!

so lets see what we can make !

first we roughing out our wood !

i use my 1/2 bowl gouge !

starting the nice pink wood from eucalyptus comes out !

i change a little to my finger nail bowl gouge !

then i clean the up surface of the bowl with 1/4 parting tool !

i make a small curve and two lines as a detail to my bowl then i burn it with a thick wire !

now looks great and i make the chuck tenon !

because are a bit wet and the sandpaper not works well i dry just a bit my wood !

then i start with 80 Grit sandpaper

100 grit

150 grit

180 grit

240 grit

refine the burned lines !!

i have sand it until 400 and now i turn it to hollow it !

i use again my 1/2 bowl gouge but need some sharpening !

i clean the chuck tenon with an oval scraper !

i have a lot of problems with this lathe ! the pulley system not working well and the worst think is that the main axis of my lathe have bend just a bit all those cost time on the work !!!!

this is a good start for 2017

maybe the next Sunday i don't have any video because i will be out of the island !
