Donald Trump is proving himself to be a very useful tool of the Republican party.

I say, "Useful tool," because he's not the one really calling the shots.

The people calling the shots in Washington DC right now in the White House are his advisors.

Pro corporate millionaires and billionaires who are using Donald Trump to get everything

that they have ever wanted.

Case in point is regulations.

The entire Republican party has always been against any kind of government regulations.

They tell us that it kills jobs, or hurts American workers, it hurts businesses that

are out there just trying to do the right thing.

It cuts into profits, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Point is, Donald Trump right now is carrying out the GOP war on regulations, all in the

name of helping the economy and helping the American workers.

Here are the facts, and these are facts that I have said many times, and I'll have to say

them many more times in the future.

Regulations create job.

Regulations create economic growth.

Destroying these regulations not only destroys parts of the economy, but it destroys American

jobs, and more importantly, destroys American's health.

Right now Donald Trump is taking aim at regulations at both the Environmental Protections Agency,

and the Department of Health and Human Services.

He wants these regulations, that protect American lives, and the U.S. environment, to go away.

Why?

Corporations want these regulations to go away, because they have to pay a little bit

more money to make sure that they're not poisoning citizens, poisoning the air, poisoning the

water, and destroying the environment.

They have to pay a little bit more.

Trump is there destroying these regulations.

You know what that means?

Regulations from the EPA, from I believe about 2010 to 2014, produced close to ... Excuse

me, 172 billion dollars of economic growth.

172 billion dollars of economic growth, and that is the lowest possible estimate.

Some estimates actually have that as high as 668 billion dollars in economic growth.

Now, these regulations cost 48 billion.

You spend 48 billion, you make a minimum of 172 billion dollars.

I don't know anyone on this planet who wouldn't take that investment.

Additionally, the last two presidents who have been pro regulation, Bill Clinton and

Barack Obama, saw job growth in the United States grow 2.5 times faster than the prior

Republican administrations who were anti regulation, George W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan.

Not too many numbers available from George H.W. Bush, because the study that Joe Romm

at ThinkProgress sighted actually only counts presidents who served two terms.

We're talking about regulations creative 2.5 times more jobs than Republican's who come

into office and kill regulations.

We're losing jobs under Donald Trump.

We're losing economic growth under Donald Trump.

That's what Republicans won't tell you.

They're not going to tell you the bad things that happen when they repeal regulations.

They're only going to tell you that, "Wow, this sure is going to help businesses create

more jobs."

Except the fact is, they don't.

There is no data to back up that claim, but there is data to prove them wrong.

Most people don't take the time to look at the data.

Most people don't take the time to go read about it.

They only know what they hear from Republican talking points coming out of now both the

White House, Republican Think Tanks, and Republican media.

They're not going to tell you that repealing clean air protections is going to lead to

thousands upon thousands of more deaths every single year in the United States.

They're not going to tell you that.

They're not going to tell you that gutting the Department of Health and Human Services

is going to reduce response time for any national epidemic, or pandemic that takes place.

Any time there is a health crisis in the United States, we won't be able to respond properly

or adequately.

That's going to cost lives.

They won't tell you that.

All they're going to tell you is, "Hey, we cut some funding from these government agencies

cause we want a balanced budget," as if that really matters for some reason.

They're not just going to take that money and put it into a savings account.

They're going to flip it over into the military, and buy more tanks, and guns, and bombs, and

go kill some more people overseas.

Meanwhile, they're going to completely ignore the fact that we have Americans dying because

we don't have clean air to breathe, or clean water to drink.

The Abortion Rate Is At An All-Time Low, Why? - Duration: 4:36.

Abortion is an extremely contentious issue for many people in the U.S. and around the

world, many of whom want to see a world with few abortions.

Luckily, science is on the case.

Hey there countrywomen and countrymen, Trace here for DNews.

Near the end of January, President Trump signed an Executive Order reinstating something called

the "Mexico City Policy," or "Global Gag Rule," blocking U.S. foreign aid to

any organization performing, advising on, or endorsing abortion as a method of family

planning.

It was first signed by former President Reagan.

Depending on the administration, the rule comes and goes.

Dispassionate data exists to try to understand how to the decrease abortion rates, and restricting

access to abortion, counseling, and advisory services doesn't decrease the number of

abortions performed, but does the opposite!

A study by the World Health Organization, looked at over 260-thousand women in 20 countries

from 1994 to 2008, and found once the Mexico City Policy was reinstated the last time,

in 2001, the abortion rate more than doubled.

They even created an algorithm to compare those with and without exposure to abortion

advice, endorsement or services, and those without access had more abortions.

And this isn't just worldwide, it's also in the United States.

A study published in Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health examined abortions

in the United States, and found from 2011 to 2014, the rate dropped by 12 percent.

Their study wanted to find out what caused this huge drop.

They looked at access to abortions and contraception and also the closing of abortion clinics.

They didn't find a strong correlation between closing clinics and decreasing rates.

But, did think a decrease in unintended pregnancies and increase in contraceptive use contributed

to the decline in abortions.

The U.S. currently has the lowest abortion rate since it became legal in 1973, and yet

people are still denying sexual health education works.

This study postulates that both contraception and education are at play.

Though they say more research is obviously needed.

Many believe unintended pregnancies are a result of contraception failure, but according

to a report by the Guttmacher Institute, a sexual health research nonprofit… that would

only account for 5 percent of all unintended pregnancies.

Of the remaining 95 percent: most was from non-use of contraception, and a bit less than

half was incorrect or inconsistent use.

This means a big chunk of our unintended pregnancy problem is likely a lack of education!

A study in Plos ONE echos this sentiment: with findings so strong they put them in the

subtitle, saying "Why We Need Comprehensive Sex Education in the U.S."

Though, access and education don't work if people don't accept them as options to

countering unintended pregnancies.

According to a study done over 8 years published in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent

Medicine, more contraception instruction, and education, correlated with lower rates

of 15 to 17 year old's getting pregnant -- what we call teen pregnancy.

And there are proven methods to purely decrease abortion rates.

A 2012 study published in Obstetrics & Gynecology followed over 9000 girls and women, and reported

teen birth rates dropped by 82 percent, and abortions dropped by approximately two-thirds...when

they did this one crazy thing... gave them free birth control access.

Unintended pregnancies aren't just something we can write off with the flourish of a pen.

A Studies in Family Planning paper, reported 40 percent of all pregnancies worldwide were

unintended in 2012; half ended in abortion, but 38 percent resulted in unplanned births.

Those unplanned births affect the lives of everyone involved forever -- mothers, children,

fathers, grandparents, social support networks, et cetera.

According to a 1988 study in Family Planning Perspectives, three-quarters of women seeking

abortions said, "having a baby would interfere with work, school or other responsibilities,"

about two-thirds "could not afford" a child, and half "did not want to be a single

parent or had relationship problems."

Some women stated they weren't mature enough to have a child, and some still said their

parents wished them to abort.

Clearly, unintended pregnancies will continue to happen if we do nothing.

And, according to dozens of studies, abortion rates decline when people have access to contraception

and the education to use it properly.

Though there are many who have politicized this issue, the data seems to indicate that

restricting access for political reasons might cause more unintended pregnancies, and thus,

actually increase the rates of abortion.

BMW F800GS off-road an a single track trail - Duration: 6:41.

hey guys, ALBE here before I bought my

f800gs I was trying to find out if i

could write it on a single track trail I

couldn't find much about it online but

if you are asking yourself the same

question you're in luck, Here it is

we're going to go along, drive along this trail over here until we

get single track and see if we can make

it out of it, so, but so far so good

still double trail so I believe a 4X4 (4WD)

can come on this portion of the trail just

as good as I do but I've been here once

before a long while ago and it's going

to get slimmer and slimmer until it

gets down to single track and let's hope

that the street is all there as well

the beauty of California houses the left

and wild areas to the right

it doesn't look steep but once you're on it

it feels pretty steep. I wish I had a little

bit knobbier tire in the back but ya

you've gotta make due with what you've got

so far so good, there's still planty of room

Here we go, here is where the track actually start thinning

down still easy enough

it looks pretty good

every once in a while you guys are going to see me slow down, because

at this point I have no idea where I'm going so

now there are other trails going up the

mountain over there, but I'm afraid I

don't have enough grip obviously the

power is good on the bike

the problem is the weight of the bike and

more so the tires now my tires are not

pure off-road, they are heidenau k60 scout in the back

and I have

a continental TKC 80 up front, so I'm not

worried about the front tire i'm a

little worried about the rear tire see

if it has enough grip to keep me going

now if this was a 400, 450, 550

off-road bike wouldn't be a problem but

this is on the light side of adventure bikes

so still 500-pound worth of bike, especially

'cause it rained not too long ago

not long ago i'm afraid

the earth is not going to be solid enough

so I guess the answer to that question

is definitely, if the trail doesn't get

too technical and if you have the guts

if you don't care about dropping it

I say go for it, it's fun and in my case

the more challenging it gets, the more

fun I have, but, around my house there's

not that much, so, has I said

probably easy to moderate, if even

moderate, it's probably more on the easy

side than anything else

so all in all this is quite a

great bike for some light off-roading while

while you travel around, you know either

being commuting or or actually touring

Stretch it to width 160.

Ok.

Resize canvas (uncheck keep aspect ratio) to height 160.

Ok.

Now the image is 160x160. That is the size the inventory icon use.

Close it.

Now we need to create a new berries object to drop from the bush.

Duplicate objBlueGem and name it objBerries.

And set the sprite to sprBerries.

Now we need to handle the collision event. To make things easier for the future we create a new berries parent object.

Duplicate parCollectible_Gems and name it parCollectible_Berries.

Ok.

Open objBerries and set the parent to parCollectible_Berries

Ok. The new pickup object now exists but we need to make the bush drop the berries when cut.

Open objForestBush and go to the code in the step event and change the two objGreenGem to objBerries.

I dont do this here but you should...

...go to objForestBush_Once and do the same. Replace objGreenGem with objBerries.

Pause here until you are done.

Ok. We got a new object and we must add that object to the object array.

Ok.

Copy the new object name.

Go to scr_Multiplayer_OBJECT_ARRAY_Enviroment and add objBlueGem to the array

Bottom.

New row and paste name.

Copy the last line.

Paste on a new line.

Set the new number in sequence.

Cut name.

Paste name.

Ok. Our object can now be used in the Enviroment script.

Now we must add the object to the inventory.

Go to scripts and duplicate ItemGetLifePotion in the Items folder and name it ItemGetBerries. The berries is supposed to give hp.

Lets call these "Berries". This name will show up in the inventory.

Its supposed to give hp so we leave the ITEM_TYPE_POTION_HEALTH.

When added to inventory it give 1 berry.

This we dont use yet.

Here we set the inventory icon to sprBerries_Inventory out 160x160 sprite.

It restores hp so we let that stay.

But we give it another value. Berries goes for 2 in our game.

Ok. Inventory done.

We will now make the collision event so the player pick up the berries.

Go to objPlayerCharacter and add a collision event with parCollectible_Berries.

Add a code block.

We want to check if we got space in the inventory before we pick this up.

Go to scripts>Inventory

Here we got InventoryFindSlotEmpty() that return >-1 if a empty slot is found.

Copy it.

Paste

Add ()>-1

If the inventory is full it may stack in an existing slot with berries.

For that we got InventoryFindSlotItem()

Copy.

Paste

Add ()

Here we notice that it require a argument. itemArray.

And we have created that with the ItemGetBerries() we created earlier.

var item=ItemGetBerries();

Now the variable item hold the itemArray. So add it to the script: InventoryFindSlotItem(item)

And add >-1. Because it return a value >-1 if there is stack.

Now add { }

We want to make a sound when we pick it up so add: PlaySound(snd_HeartGet);

And we want the berry to be destroyed when we pick it up.

with (other) instance_destroy();

Ok. Now when the player collide with it it will be removed.

Now we must make the player add the berry to the inventory.

We do this in the script scr_Multiplayer_ON_PLAYER_REQUEST_OBJECT_GRANTED

Its under scripts>Multiplayer>Enviroment

At the beginning there is a switch statement that handle the gems and hearts.

You see that every gem and other object give the player stuff here.

So we will add objBerries here and make it add it to the inventory.

Copy a case block.

Paste at bottom.

Change it to objBerries.

Remove the old line

To add something to the inventory we use the script InventoryAdd.

Copy it and paste.

You see that it need the an itemArray.

So we get it as before: var Item=ItemGetBerries();

InventoryAdd(Item);

Ok. When the player collide with the objBerries this will run and add it to the inventory.

Now we must handle what will happen for connected players when you picked up the objBerries.

We do this in the script: scr_Multiplayer_ON_DESTROY_Enviroment

Copy a block of code from: CheckObject=... To }

Add some rows under and paste it.

Change to: CheckObject=parCollectible_Berries; This will handle all berries in the game.

Because for every new berry we create er will parent it to parCollectible_Berries.

When a player pick up a berry and you are in the same room you want to play the sound snd_HeartGet.

Ok. We are now done.

Lets give it a try.

Run.

Multiplayer

Host.

Lets delete the old world and create a new one.

Select.

Ok.

New game

Ok here are our forest bushes.

Lets check if we can get some berries from them.

And we score.

Pickup.

Check the inventory with I key

And there they are.

Right now I can eat these because out hp is full.

Easy to fix.

Ok let eat some berries.

X key to eat.
