As the NFL continues to allow (and even promote) the anti-American "kneelers" within their
organization, it turns out there's one secret that could spell disaster for the league.
According to one Twitter post, it appears that the NFL relies on over $1 billion in
subsidies from American taxpayers, an expense that most citizens would be surprised to hear
about.
In light of recent developments, Trump should take those funds away.
The NFL is, or at least used to be, one of the most profitable professional sports leagues
in the US, earning billions in profits and revenues every single year.
However, what most people don't seem to know is that these profit margins are made
possible by the billions in taxpayer dollars that are spent supporting the organization.
Between team spending, tax breaks, and stadium construction, the NFL is getting an extraordinarily
good deal off of the government's dime, something that has left experts aghast.
"I've been studying this for 15 years, and I still can not believe cities and states
are lined up begging to give money to these very profitable [teams]," said Professor
Rick Eckstein, an expert on stadium finance, according to CNN.
Among the largest contributors of financing to the NFL comes in the form of stadium construction.
Over the past 20 years, the American taxpayer has spent over $7 billion to help build or
renovate NFL stadiums.
Stuart Varney went on FOX & Friends to talk about this very topic.
"There's $1.1 billion in direct subsidies from taxpayers to the NFL…Taxpayer subsidies
go to the building of stadiums.
There have been 20 new NFL stadiums since 1997.
All of them have received a degree of taxpayer subsidies," he said.
However, with the league making a habit of encouraging disrespect to the anthem–started
off by Colin Kaepernick and now influencing 200 different NFL athletes to do the same,
many are feeling the league is biting the hand that is feeding them.
According to a recent Rasmussen poll, around one-third of Americans are less likely to
watch the NFL games in light of these anthem protests.
While that might not seem like a lot, the prospect of one-third of the potential viewership
disappearing in the blink of an eye is enough to give even a multi-billion dollar organization
pause.
The NFL relies on over $1 billion in subsidies from American taxpayers.
Enough!
Should these terminate IMMEDIATELY.
When coupled with the fact that the organization has been struggling to fill stadiums and that
they are experiencing historically low ratings, the league has never been in a weaker position.
If President Trump should choose to withdraw this $1.1 billion in subsidies in response
to these anti-American efforts, then 2017 could very well be the year that the NFL came
to an end.
Many Americans are fed up with the league's recent actions, and many more are frustrated
to hear that the government is spending its precious taxpayer dollars on supporting the
NFL.
"Please Stop My Tax Money from supporting the NFL – Send to FL-TX & P.R," tweeted
Jefferson Creel, just one fed up American.
Whether or not Trump chooses to pull the financial plug from the NFL is yet to be seen, but it
would be a move that many Americans would support.
Should we terminate all NFL subsidies IMMEDIATELY?
what do you think about this?

Sony 1000XM2 Vs Bose QC35 II - Which Is The Best Noise Canceling Headphones (Late 2017) - Duration: 9:51.
You knew it was coming, so lets get to it…
Bose QC 35 II versus the Sony 1000XM2.
These two are perhaps the most popular options right now when it comes to noise canceling
headphones.
And both of these headphones have their own strong and weak points.
But more importantly, which is right for you?
We're about to find out, don't forget to like comment and subscribe and you can
watch both of these headphones individual reviews here after you're done watching
this video.
Both of these headphones retail for $350 and both of these headphones come in two color
ways.
The Bose QC35 II come in black and silver and the Sony 1000XM2 come in black and gold.
And they both come included with a hard shell carrying case, a micro USB cable for charging,
and an audio cable.
The Sony 1000XM2 come included with an airplane adaptor, while Bose decided to leave out their
plane adaptor for the Bose QC35 II.
If you want to pick either of these headphones up I'll have links in the description and
I'll keep them updated so you can't the best deal possible.
Both of these headphones are relatively identical on the outside to their predecessors the Sony
MDR-1000X and the Original Bose QC35.
And just like before the Bose QC35 II have far superior build over the Sony 1000XM2.
The panels on the Bose QC35 II are made out of glass filled nylon which are more durable
and lighter than the plastic ones on the 1000XM2.
The plastic panels on my 1000XM2 haven't had the cracking issue that was fairly common
on the 1000X but its still too early to tell if the cracking issue is gone.
The plastic panels on the 1000XM2 are snapped into place while the panels on Bose QC35 II
are screwed in so if you flex the headband on the Bose QC35 II theres really no squeaking
or cracking and the panels stay in place better.
Where as if you flex the headband on the 1000XM2 too much you risk the panels snapping out
of place.
Both of the headphones are using synthetic leather on the ear cups and headband and they
both have plush padding.
But the padding on the Bose QC35 II is just a little softer and it stays cooler for a
little longer than the 1000XM2.
The ear cups on the Bose QC35 II are also larger than the 1000XM2 so they encase your
whole ear while the ear cups on the 1000XM2 might rest on your earlobes if you've got
bigger ears.
What this means is the Bose QC35 II have a far superior build quality and slightly better
comfort over the Sony 1000XM2.
But like I've said before, the Sony 1000XM2 forego build quality in favor of features.
First off, the 1000XM2 have a better battery life than the Bose QC35 II.
The Sony 1000XM2 should last you a little more than 30 hours with noise cancelation
on, while the Bose QC35 II have a battery life of 20 hours with noise cancelation on.
And they both have quick charging, if you plug in the 1000XM2 for 10 minutes you should
get 70 minutes of playback time.
But if you plugin the Bose QC35 II for 15 minutes you should get 2.5 and half hours
of playback time.
Concerning sound quality, I prefer the 1000XM2 over the Bose QC35 II.
The highs on the Sony don't crash like they do on the Bose and theres much less distortion
at higher volumes on the Sony.
Although the Bose QC35 II have a little bit more depth, the bass just leave you hanging.
Where as The 1000XM2 have clean bass and you can adjust their EQ through Sony's headphones
app.
And you CAN'T do that with the Bose QC35 II unless you use a third party app.
If you're debating between these two headphones chances are you're mainly interested in
the Active Noise Cancelation.
And I've got to say, Sony has really improved their Active Noise Cancelation technology.
When you activate the ANC on the Sony 1000XM2 you feel no cabin pressure on your ear drum
and they don't cause any head aches.
And the 1000XM2 are also really good at rejecting wind noise.
Where as if the microphones on the Bose QC35 II get hit by a little breeze you're going
to get some white noise.
And I've been very vocal about this in the past but the ANC on Bose QC35 II have a lot
of cabin pressure and cause headaches.
And its just not me, I've passed the Bose QC35 II around to a few people and they all
said they hurt.
If ANC is on on the Bose QC35 II and you're not playing music you're going to hear a
constant hissing sound where as with the 1000XM2 there isn't but you're still blocking
out the sound.
And when it comes to over all performance, the 1000Xm2 is better at blocking out more
sound than the Bose QC35 II.
And the 1000XM2 also give you more control of your active noise cancelation settings
thanks to their ambient sound feature.
If you just want to block out everything you can just have your standard noise cancelation
turned on.
But if you set ambient sound to low the 1000XM2 will pump in some outside sound so you can
be aware of whats going on around you if you're walking in the city.
They can also specifically only let in people's voices.
And if you want more ambient sound in you can just raise the ambient sound setting.
And they can even adjust your ambient sound setting automatically depending on what you're
doing.
With the Bose QC35 II you only have three options to choose from concerning your active
noise cancellation.
You can either choose from High, Low or OFF.
But the coolest feature the Sony 1000XM2 have that the Bose doesn't is quick attention.
If someone is talking to you while you're playing music on the 1000XM2 you don't have
to take your headphones off.
All you have to do is cover the touch pad on the right ear cup and the head phones will
automatically lower the volume of your music and pump in all of the outside sound.
Where as with the Bose, if someone tries to talk to you, you have to take your headphones
off.
This isn't as sleek as the Sony.
The only addition to the new Bose QC35 II is the new Action button on the left ear cup.
And you can either have this button do one of two things.
Either you can activate google assistant or toggle through your active noise cancelation
settings.
Like I said in my initial review, you can use google assistant with an iPhone, but its
not as useful as it would be if you used it on an Android device.
If you tap the action button once, google assistant will tell you the time and any notifications
you might have.
But if you press and hold the action button you can talk to google assistant.
And having the action button on the Bose QC35 II is useful if you're a power user of google
assistant.
It really stream lines the process of talking to your assistant.
And with the Bose QC35 II you can use the action button on the left to activate google
assistant and you can use the multipurpose button on right to activate siri if you're
using an iPhone.
So you get two assistants at your beck and call.
And I like that cause sometimes google is better at more complicated questions than
Siri.
And here are a few minor things to take into consideration.
The Bose QC35 II can connect to two devices at the same time, so switching from your phone
to your laptop like I always do is super easy.
Where as the Sony 1000XM2 can only be connected to one device at a time so you cant just hot
swap.
And like I said in my initial review, premium head phones like the 1000XM2 should be able
to connect to multiple devices at the same time.
But, the Sony 1000XM2 have been updated with Aptx HD audio so the wireless audio quality
is better than the Bose QC35 II when streaming off of the same device.
And I'm not just saying that cause its on a spec sheet… you can really tell a difference.
So, if you're trying to decide between the Bose QC35 II and the Sony 1000XM2… get the
Bose if build quality and comfort are your top priorities.
Even though the new action button is nice, its not a must have feature cause you can
still just activate google assistant straight from your phone.
But for everything else I would pick the Sony 1000XM2.
They sound better, they have more features, they have a better battery life and the Sony
headphones app gives you so much more control over them.
Not to mention, the noise cancelation on the 1000XM2 is better than the Bose QC35 II.
Theres no hissing and theres no cabin pressure… but they still manage to block out more sound.
Remember, this isn't a full review for either of these headphones I'm just trying to point
out the most important differences between them so I can help you with your purchase
decision.

How To Make Money With Podcasts - Duration: 7:09.
Hey, so you want to learn
how to make money with podcasts.
Today, I'm going to go over the different
ways that podcasters are monetizing their show and making money with podcasts.
My name is Luis Congdon, the host of Thriving Launch Podcast. We're
doing five figures a month with our show, traveling the world, and landing celebrity
interviews on a consistent basis. I'm excited to dial in with you about how podcasters are
making money with their show.
So, let's dive into one of the first ways on how to make money with
podcasts.
The very first way and the one that everyone talks about
as the holy grail of podcasting is sponsorships.
Simply put, sponsorship is where a company or an individual pays you
to talk about their brand or their company, and help them drive business and brand awareness.
Well, I think sponsorships are the Holy Grail or something that everyone
talks about.
There are other methods and I want to dive in with those because I
think these are even more important and ones that you can start jumping into right away
regardless of where your show is at.
So one of the other ways that podcasters are making money with their show is
by having a membership site or some program of their own that they're selling through
their show.
Now, if you have a podcast and you've heard about sponsorships, and you're
thinking, "I'm going to land a sponsor, and that's going to be the best thing to do,"
let me give you some advice. Start selling your own products and services right away.
Right from day one, you should start offering your own products
and services. Make commercials and offer it on your website because that is, in my opinion,
the holy grail of podcasting. Own your own product, own your own service, and get 100%
commission for every sale you make.
Now, there are some other ways podcasters are making money with
their show.
Like for example, some podcasters offer a membership exclusive,
something like behind the scenes of the podcast
Let's say you interview somebody that your audience loves, and your
podcast is usually 20 minutes, but you do a 40-minute interview with them. So now, you
can sell the behind the scenes 20 minutes extra of that interview, and you can consistently
do that on a regular basis so that then, the paid members of your podcast can buy it.
One example of that is Mixergy
Mixergy is a very big podcast, and they've
done very well.
One of the things Warner
does through his podcast is he offers membership to behind the scenes of his podcast,
and he does very well, and that's just one example of somebody who's selling behind the
scenes.
Another way on how to make money with podcasts is through
affiliate branding or affiliate sales. One of the ways you can do that is simply Google
products or brands you like and type in the word "affiliate."
Let's say you love Nike shoes or you love iTunes, or you love products
on Amazon. You just type in "Amazon affiliates," and you can sign up to become an affiliate,
and on your website, and on your podcast, offer the affiliate sale of whatever product
you like.
We've covered a few of the ways on how to make money with podcasts,
but I want to give you whole spectrum because you can start implementing all these different
methods as soon as you're ready and right out the gate.
With sponsorships, you can't do it right away. That's why I think
these other methods that I'm talking about, they're way better and this is stuff that
you should be doing if you have a podcast.
One of the other ways is people are selling the transcripts.
Let's say I do a 40-minute interview. It's amazing and awesome, and people
are like, "Hey, I'd like to read the interview. I'd love to get the specific resources or
pull out a quote from the episode."
One of the things that my friend,
Ben Settle and some other guys do are they're
selling the transcripts. What they do is they're like, "If you want to read the show notes
and read the verbatim, and a few other bonuses, for $0.99 or a dollar or $5, you can get the
transcript."
You can use something like rev.com to get your episode transcribed
for a buck or under a buck a minute. It doesn't cost you very much, but you will need to make
some sales at least 20 or 30 or 40 sales to at least make up the difference. But that's
just one more way that people are making money from their podcast.
Now, there's another way people are making money from their podcast,
and it's one that not a lot of individuals are thinking about when they're doing interviews
and when they're doing their show, but it's one that I want to get it into your mind.
I want you to start thinking about this because like I always say, with a podcast, you're
sitting on a gold mine. It is incredible the opportunity you have.
One of the other ways you can do that is to do joint ventures
or affiliates or email drops with your guests.
Let's say you have an awesome guest on your show and they have a
product that your audience would love. Well, you just say to your guest, "Hey, I'd love
to do an email drop for you," or "I'd love to do a commercial for your show and let's
make some money together." That will generate a conversation.
Or, maybe you have a product that their audience would love and
you know that it would be an easy sell for them. You know the metrics, and you're doing
well because you don't want to be like "Hey, you interviewed
Dave Asprey He's somebody I love and sir, I have
a product that I think his audience would like."
But you know what? Dave is in a whole different ball field than me,
so I didn't ask him, "Hey, can we do an email drop of our product with you?" But now, other
people are in a different place. They're in a more open area than others in regards to
the business that we could do together, and it's appropriate, so I ask them.
Now, you can do this. You can ask your guest through an email, or
you can ask them after the show, but you can do business with your guests, and it's something
I want to plug into your mind right now. It's because as you start to rack up all these
interviews and all these connections, don't just think of it as an interview. It's a business
opportunity.
So I've loaded you up with all the different ways that podcasters
are making through their show, and I want to dive into podcasting and profiting with
you deeper. That's why I've even created the website with my co-host, Kamala Chambers.
We've created this awesome website. It's called
paid2podcast and on paid2podcast, I'm going to give
you a free resource that teaches you how to level up your podcasting, so you're not just
asking, "Hey, how do I make money from my show?" "How do I land awesome guests?" "How
do I make these connections viable and work?"
At paid2podcast, we're going to show you that stuff, but we're also
going to dive into podcasting in a way deeper way with you so I'll see you over at paid2podcast.

Rohingya children at risk during Myanmar refugee crisis - Duration: 4:26.
As the Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar continues to worsen, aid workers are struggling
to protect those most vulnerable among them—unaccompanied children.
In response, Child Welfare officers, UNICEF, and other charities have been setting up child-friendly
zones throughout the Bangladesh refugee camps.
These safe havens, such as those at Kutapalong Camp near Myanmar's border, offer extra
protection for children who've made this journey without family to help them.
According to U.N. estimates, more than half the refugees are children—and many of them are alone.
Many child refugees say they've witnessed family members brutally killed in village
massacres in Rakhine state.
A bullet killed my father when he went to the market during last year's violence.
This time they burnt my mother.
I was terrified and I hid in a paddy field when I saw a big group of people walking towards me.
I joined that group and came here.
According to Reuters, southwest Bangladesh's largest hospital said a third of the wounded refugees
are children.
Most of them injured by gunshots or bomb blasts.
The Rohingya are a poor, unrepresented Muslim minority who live in predominantly Buddhist Myanmar.
Myanmar has long denied citizenship to the Rohingya.
The current crisis began on August 25 after a group of Rohingya insurgents in Myanmar's
Rakhine state attacked more than 30 police stations, killing 12 officers.
Government security forces responded with
a crackdown on Rohingya villages, alleging rebels were hiding among the general population.
Since then, more than 410,000 Rohingya civilians have fled their homes.
Many have accused state security and Buddhist mobs of attacking them indiscriminately,
burning their houses, and worse.
Myanmar President Aung San Suu Kyi has refuted these claims, blaming terrorists for an
"iceberg of misinformation" about the violence.
A Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman has said China will help its neighbor
"… uphold internal stability and development."
To reach safety in neighboring Bangladesh, refugees have crossed treacherous jungles,
mountains—and rough seas in the Bay of Bengal.
All during the height of monsoon season.
While Bangladesh has made efforts to accommodate the refugees, there are shortages of food,
water, medicine and shelter.
At many camps, there is little or no sanitation.
In addition to the UN's child protection zones, UNICEF says there are nearly
three dozen mobile units in Bangladesh.
Each of them offers health care, and provides games and educational materials.
They're also staffed with teachers and counselors to provide emotional support.
Such resources may not be enough.
Over a 48-hour period at Kutupalong in September, more than 2,000 children came through just
a single 'safe zone'.
