-AE: Vagante Builds [The Knight] - Duration: 4:43.
Hey what the hell's going on you guys, it is TubaPlyr -AE and welcome back to another
Vagante video, today I felt like going over some of my favorite Knight builds in Vagante.
I know a good portion of this game is RNG,
for example getting a decent weapon or equipment,
but investing your skill points in right or wrong places can easily make or break your run.
So today I wanted to go over some of my favorite knight specs and explain why I invest my skill
points the way that I do.
I also want to preface this by saying I am by no means the best Vagante player but I
do have close to 300 hours in the game,
So I thought I might be able to help a few people out.
The knight has three unique paths he can spec into.
Sword, Holy, and Defense.
Sword path focuses on making the sword as useful as possible.
Giving access to a midair downward stab as well as unlocking the ability to swing your
sword downward which is helpful for the all the flying enemies, in all the levels.
Maxing out this path changes all swords attack speeds to Very Fast which turns your weapon
into this powerhouse of a weapon.
Its only four points to max it out making it cheap to spec into in the very beginning.
Holy path focuses on softening player mistakes and providing some resistances but also gives
very tiny bit of extra damage.
The first level prevents fall damage, and continuing on the path nets you some resistance
to elemental damage.
The max level of this path makes it so you cant be killed unless your health is zero
which can help you just long enough to escape from a boss or an enemy.
Also only 4 skill points to max this out as well.
Defense path is entirely focused on reducing or nullifying any damage you take.
The first point gives you access to the block stance which completely blocks all attacks
for a little while and continuing to spec in this path gets you a defensive recharging
shield that allows you to take way less damage. Maxing the defense path out gets you the passive
to sometimes auto-block damage, which is very helpful in addition to the damage your already
not taking here.
So with all that, what should you spend your skill points in?
Well, It depends.
If you want to do more damage You should max sword path first, this allows you to attack
much faster and get a lot more utility out of your sword.
After maxing it out you have a couple options.
I recommend maxing either the basic Strength or Luck stats next.
Maxing strength will increase the overall damage your sword does as well as giving it
more kick, where as Luck will increase not only evasion but the critical rate of your
sword which will already be able to attack very fast because of the aforementioned sword
path allowing many chances to crit.
Other options include specing into basic vitality, Defense, or holy paths each of these provide
that little bit of defense that allows you to off tank a little bit.
If you're feeling like a tank today you should max defense tree.
Because of the damage reduction of this tree you'll find yourself taking alot less damage
in fights.
Remember that the starting point gives you the ability to block.
Remembering to block is VITAL here and you'll take WAY less damage doing so.
After maxing this I recommend maxing basic Vitality or Luck paths. Vitality gives you
even more defence and also a higher health pool to defend.
Luck will increase evasion rates which pairs with the Auto block passive of defense tree
allowing for a virtually indestructible knight as long as you're blocking and healing
It's crazy.
Other options include putting points into Holy or Strength.
Holy gives you that much more damage reduction for elemental attacks allowing for a somewhat
tankier knight, and Strength gives you the much needed damage that this path lacks.
Because you will be doing a lot less damage than if you were to go Sword path.
Holy is a good path choice for beginners as it does allow you to make more mistakes and
still come out on top.
It trys to be the best of both worlds, by providing a little resistance and a little
damage but it's not crazy by any means.
It's a shorter path only requiring 4 points making it a decent supporting path to choose
if your unsure what to put points into next.
I hope this video helped any aspiring Knight mains better decide what they might want to
put their points into.
