Liverpool's dominance of West Ham a return to pure entertainment at Anfield - Duration: 5:23.

Liverpool's dominance of West Ham a return to pure entertainment at Anfield

Liverpools emphatic 4-1 victory at home to West Ham on Saturday showcased a side built to perform for the enjoyment of their supporters.

4-1 and it should have been more. Yet we never left third gear. This sort of performance has a retro feeling to it.

During the 1980s we used to win like this most weekends. Opposing teams demoralised, and Liverpool easing off during the last half-hour or so; Reds supporters in attendance nodding their approval and clapping politely.

If we produced a win like this under Brendan Rodgers four years or so ago then it would have been embraced rapturously, within a plume of red pyro smoke.

We'd have headed into town in celebration, and not rolled home until daylight had broken. While we're not in danger of becoming blase about winning with comfort and ease, we are becoming accustomed to it. Will We Really Miss Emre Can?.

Scorer of the first goal, but guilty of some careless passing and switching off at times. He's not going to be a Liverpool player next season, and how damaging or not will that be?.

You don't want to lose good players, definitely not for free, and at 24, Can has many big years ahead of himself. But by now Can should have cast off some of the remaining rougher edges of his game.

He's neither the raw and jagged potential he was when he first arrived at Anfield or the finished article yet, but he leaves you with the feeling that he should be closer to being the finished article by now than he is.

This one game encapsulated perfectly the Can conundrum: some good stuff, and some not so good. He will simultaneously leave a big gap in the midfield to be filled and provide an exciting chance for us to remodel the position.

In comparison, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gives you exactly what he's steadily taught you to expect. His movement creates so many of the openings that Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane dance through.

The prospect of Oxlade-Chamberlain alongside Naby Keita is a smile-inducing one. How would Can fit into that dynamic next season? We're unlikely to ever know. Into the mix of this, we are still meant to identify a successor to Philippe Coutinho.

Beyond all of this the James Milner renaissance continues apace, as he made himself awkward to play against. He put himself into some painful situations, and this kind of commitment will help us to our targets over the next couple of months.

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson watched on from the sidelines. Andrew Robertson is Brilliant.

One glaring moment where he overran the play aside, Robertson was once again outstanding. He really is shaping up to be the left-back of our dreams: determined, fast, perceptive, capable of popping up anywhere.

He will eventually add goals to this repertoire. A Scottish Paul Breitner in the making. Ask your dad, kids.

Just a couple of months younger than Can, fitness permitting Robertson will be our left-back for many years to come. Finally after three decades, since the days of Jim Beglin, the left-back position appears to be in safe hands.

Between Beglin and Robertson our best left-backs have been makeshift ones. When you get into this pattern it detracts from somewhere else on the pitch.

When you relocate a Steve Nicol or a Rob Jones from their natural position it weakens a different part of the defence.

If we finally crack the code, and our defence becomes watertight all of a sudden, it will be as much down to Robertson conquering the left-back problem as it will be the vast amount of money we spent on the hypnotic Virgil van Dijk.

An Evertonian of a certain age I know spluttered into his pint when he found out that someone on Radio 5 Live had referred to Salah, Firmino and Mane as 'The Holy Trinity'.

This was a name bestowed upon the late 1960s and early 70s Everton midfield of Alan Ball, Colin Harvey and Howard Kendall. He'll still be muttering about it now.

Without Coutinho, there is a reasonable passing thought that fatigue could well catch up with our stylistic front three. Expected to play every game, it is a big ask for them to maintain the high level of their performances.

There is no sign of that at the moment however. Mane continues to show signs that his form is gradually rising.

Salah is almost in a resting mode, catching his breath after a phenomenal winter, switching on intermittently to score a goal here and there before hitting the snooze button again, while Firmino is arguably the man carrying the baton as chief tormentor of our opponents.

A goal from each of them. Never take them for granted; we are truly blessed to have them. West Ham Fans All Dream of a Team of Tomas Repkas.

You're a long way up in the upper tier of the Main Stand. I didn't realise until I watched the highlights on Match of the Day that West Ham were wearing light-blue shirts. I thought they were in all-white.

During the first half, I didn't realise that Marko Arnautovic was sporting peroxide blonde hair. I thought he had a shaved head.

Combined to the appearances of James Collins and Pablo Zabaleta, I kept on thinking that both were being caught massively out of position, high up the pitch. I must have fallen for it at least half a dozen times.

David Moyes has never won at Anfield. One day, he will roll into to Anfield in charge of Carlisle United, for an early round League Cup tie against a weakened Liverpool lineup, and his side will win on penalties.

It will be the pinnacle of his totally peculiar managerial career.

The way he's going, we're only a season or two from that scenario having very real potential. It is down to the likes of Moyes, Alan Pardew, Sam Allardyce and Roy Hodgson that so much of English football remains largely unwatchable.

Unfortunately, or fortunately as the case may be based on beating West Ham, we still have Hodgson, Allardyce and Pardew to face before this season draws to a close. More high-scoring performances in third gear please.

The sedate month of February is over, and March will be that little bit sharper. Rafa is coming home, and we will be making the trip to the wrong end of the East Lancashire Road.

Porto should be navigated without any major worries, while there are points to collect from Watford and Crystal Palace as long as we remain ruthless and focused.

Beyond March lies the Champions League quarter-finals, and a huge test of where we really find ourselves to be. If you can't enjoy this, then there really is no hope for you.

BREAKING! FBI Just Caught In MASSIVE Lie About Shooting! This Changes Everything - Duration: 8:11.

BREAKING!

FBI Just Caught In MASSIVE Lie About Shooting!

This Changes Everything

On Valentine's Day, Nikolas Cruz went on a shooting rampage through Marjory Stoneman

Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida leaving 17 students and teachers dead and many others

injured.

The day after the shooting on Thursday morning the local FBI chief responded to the reports

of a threat shooter Nikolas Cruz made on YouTube earlier in 2017.

Cruz left a comment on a bail bondsman's YouTube channel in September 2017 where Cruz

proclaimed he was going to be a "professional school shooter."

The FBI also spoked of the tip they had received concerning Cruz through their online portal

in September.

As a result of that tip, the FBI opened a counterterrorism lead, yet the bureau closed

the case within the month due to claims they could not positively identify the individual

behind the post.

YouTube's parent company, Google, also briefed congressional staff Friday and said the comment

by Cruz in September was marked as spam and removed by the video's owner shortly after

it was posted and therefore not investigated further.

In the briefing, Google also "acknowledged that it has a role to play in reviewing its

social media sites for content that merits a referral to law enforcement."

Thursday, the day after the shooting, Special Agent Robert F. Lasky responded to the revelations

of the online threats made by Cruz.

Lasky is the special agent in charge of the Miami division of the FBI and has been with

the Bureau since 1998.

Lasky stated – "We do not know if it was the same person.

We, through our database checks, we could not positively identify him.

We're going back.

We're scrubbing the information.

We're looking at it again.

I am not willing to say at this time that it was the same person."

Many Americans expressed their skepticism at the likelihood that the FBI could not track

down a person using their own name with an unusual spelling who had been reported to

the FBI on 20 separate occasions and had the local police called to his home some 39 separate

times.

The YouTube comment was posted by "Nikolas Cruz"…NiKolas with a "K" but somehow

we are expected to believe the FBI had no idea who he was….yeah sure! *eye roll*

In the days since the massacre, people who knew Cruz have described a troubled young

man who was often at odds with law enforcement and made violent posts online.

The FBI and local police have revealed that they had received several warnings about his

behavior.

This was CLEARLY yet another LIE from the FBI.

It seems that is all they know how to do.

Cruz used his real name on social media, not a handle, not a pseudonym, but his legitimate

legal name in real life.

Cruz also used his real name on Instagram where Cruz posted multiple pictures of himself

in a mask with a variety of firearms, as well as pictures of him shooting animals.

The account history stretched back to 2015.

Yet the FBI issued a statement regarding Cruz stating –

On January 5, 2018, a person close to Nikolas Cruz contacted the FBI's Public Access Line

(PAL) tipline to report concerns about him.

The caller provided information about Cruz's gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic

behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting

a school shooting.

Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should have been assessed

as a potential threat to life.

The information then should have been forwarded to the FBI Miami Field Office, where appropriate

investigative steps would have been taken.

We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received

by the PAL on January 5.

The information was not provided to the Miami Field Office, and no further investigation

was conducted at that time.

It seems reminiscent of the Sutherland Springs church shooting when it was revealed that

the United States Air Force did not properly log a domestic violence conviction against

the suspect, which would have stopped him from legally buying a gun.

The Wall Street Journal reported on the contents of the transcript from the FBI tip line report

from a January call.

A woman who was not identified told an employee of the FBI of Cruz and how he had the mental

capacity of a 12- to 14-year-old and had been kicked out of school for throwing chairs at

students and teachers "because he didn't like the way they were talking to him."

She also provided handles for at least three different social media accounts known to be

used by Cruz where he wrote "he wants to kill people" and posted photos of animals

that he had mutilated.

She stated in the call –

"You know how a bird will fly around in the backyard and then hit your glass door,

your sliding glass doors and hit the ground?

Well, that's what happened.

He brought the bird into the house.

He threw it on his mother's kitchen counter and he started cutting it up.

That to me would be a red flag."

The woman also revealed that Cruz had stolen money from his mother's bank account in

order to buy several rifles and ammunition, including one gun that he bought online.

After receiving THIS call, the FBI employee based out of the bureau's West Virginia

tip line center discussed the contents of the call with her supervisor.

The two then concluded there was no imminent threat based on the information provided and

took no further action.

The case was closed in less than an hour with no followup whatsoever.

During the call, the FBI employee asked the woman if Cruz actually stated he would take

action or if he merely wanted to.

The woman replied by reading a social media post by Cruz where he stated – "I want

to kill people."

Washington Times reports:

The FBI was told of a threat accused Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz made on YouTube last

September but never contacted the company to track down its source, missing an early

indicator, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley said Friday.

Someone reported the online threat to the FBI and the bureau opened a counterterrorism

investigation but closed it on Oct. 11 saying it never managed to identify the person behind

the post.

It wasn't until after last week's school massacre that the FBI did track down the author

and found it was the 19-year-old man now accused of slaying 17 people at his former high school,

Mr. Grassley's office said, after getting briefings from both the FBI and Google.

Google would have been able to help confirm the commentator's identity if the FBI had

followed up, Mr. Grassley's office said.

Yet FBI director Christopher Wray issued a statement saying –

"We are still investigating the facts.

I am committed to getting to the bottom of what happened in this particular matter, as

well as reviewing our processes for responding to information that we receive from the public.

It's up to all Americans to be vigilant, and when members of the public contact us

with concerns, we must act properly and quickly.

"We have spoken with victims and families, and deeply regret the additional pain this

causes all those affected by this horrific tragedy.

All of the men and women of the FBI are dedicated to keeping the American people safe, and are

relentlessly committed to improving all that we do and how we do it."

Yet now the FBI is admitting they never even bothered to look into the threat Cruz made

on YouTube.

They did not bother to look on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other form of social media.

No investigation took place whatsoever.

They simply did not bother.

Chasing fictional Russian collusion and playing politics was more important than the lives

of 17 innocent people.

Hating and obstructing President Donald Trump was more important.

Trashing the NRA was more important while four deputies stayed armed in safety and refused

to help as teens and teachers were gunned down.

Anything and everything matter more than the lives of 17 innocent people and that is the

one thing that is abundantly clear.

what do you think about this?

How to paint mandalas with acrylics # 15 - Mandala rainbow in wood - Duration: 2:46.

Hello, welcome to my channel

Today I'm going to show you how to decorate a wooden revolving base

today's video will be through photographs

because at first I was not going to record tutorial of this project

because it was a test and I did not know how I was going to get out

but if I was taking photos of the process

so as the result is acceptable medium

Here I show you how I did it

I used a wooden swivel base

that he used for pizzas

as I had it quite shattered to cut over

I sand it and I gave it three layers of gesso

the paintings are of the Acrilex brand

which are better for wood

I have also used Posca black markers

and my tools to make the dots

The first thing I did was draw the guide lines

then draw the mandala design

here I started painting

but I noticed that the paint did not cover the pencil marks well

and I had to give several layers of paint

so I decided to erase all pencil lines with a eraser

before continuing to paint

but before erasing

Mark the whole drawing with a yellow marker

and I kept painting everything using the colors of the rainbow

and here with a Posca fine-tipped marker highlight the whole drawing

and here I returned to mark the drawing but with a posca marker thick tip

and to finish

I did the details with white paint and my tools to make the dots

I hope you liked the video

and see you in the next

see you soon

bye

THE SERPENT'S SECRET (ARC REVIEW) | *SPOILER FREE* | xreadingsolacex [CC] - Duration: 8:18.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav here and today I'm going to be talking

about The Serpent's Secret by Sayantani DasGupta. The Serpent's Secret is a

middle-grade novel about a 12-year old, Kiranmala, who essentially is just

living her regular life in New Jersey until her parents are taken and she

finds out that she is actually an Indian princess. I was lucky enough to receive

an ARC of this novel from the lovely members of the Diverse Book Bridge team which

is an amazing organization that I think we should all be supporting. I am so, so

glad I received this ARC because this is a book that has been on my radar for a

while, but I wasn't sure that it was one that I was going to jump up and get

immediately until I received this ARC and I literally fell in love with it. As

this is an ARC review this is going to be spoiler free, so I highly recommend

that you stay here and watch the entire thing to find out all of the reasons this

is an incredible novel that I absolutely cannot wait to be out in the world.

Growing up, when I went to things like the Scholastic book fairs at my school

or anything, the books on the bookshelf never had characters who looked like me.

The extent of my memory of representation growing up is one time I

picked up a book with an Indian main character from my library and that was

just because the plot appealed to me, this wasn't a mainstream book in any way,

and that's essentially the extent of my memory of representation. When I went to

things like book fairs at my school or to places like the library or to

children's bookstores or anything, the books there never had characters who

looked like me or who came from the same heritage as me or anything, and you don't

think that impacts you, but it does. It has a subconscious impact on you.

Regardless of all the other amazing aspects of this novel, and trust me, this

novel is literally perfect in every way, but regardless of all those other

aspects - what I am most excited for is for the kids out there who are going to

go to those Scholastic book fairs or to their school libraries or to children's

bookstores and are going to see this book with a character who looks like

them on the cover and with a character who has a name like them, who comes from

the same heritage as them - and this is going to be revolutionary for so many

kids out there, it's going to be the book that kids let me needed and never got. I

cannot wait for that to happen. The way DasGupta represents Indian culture in

this book is done so well. The elements of this book really come primarily from

Bengali culture and I am not Bengali, so I can't speak on that, but it is own

voices representation, so I'm not too concerned about it. From what I did see

and how she tied in the negatives and positives of Indian culture, it was just

done perfectly. The main character comes from New

Jersey and she talks a lot in the novel about how she was embarrassed of her

parents. Like I mentioned at the beginning, when you never see yourself on

the bookshelf, when you never see a character who looks like you on a book cover, when

you never see someone with parents like you on a TV show - when you live in a town

where everyone comes from a different culture than you do, it does impact you.

And the way that the author represented that in this novel was so relatable to

how I felt as a kid, and it's something that I'm still sad I felt about as a kid,

but the way she put that into this novel and she then tied it towards making the

main character actually be proud of her culture and show her that her culture is

pretty cool was just done so beautifully and is definitely what made this novel

what it was for me because it was done so well. But whereas I could go on and on

about the representation in this novel because, trust me, it's fantastic, there

are so many other amazing aspects I also have to cover. So let's start with the

characters: As you all know, I'm a very character-driven person. Characters are

what take me in a novel and it actually took me a while to realize how much I

liked the characters in this book. When an adult writes a middle-grade novel or

a YA novel, I'm always hesitant to read it because I'm always wondering "can

they actually get in the mindset of a 12-year old or a 14-year old?" and DasGupta

did. She wrote a realistic 12-year old and I don't know how she managed to

get in the mindset of a 12-year old, but this book actually sounded like a 12-

year old's thoughts and it's written in first person, so that makes it even harder to

actually get in that mindset, but she definitely, definitely did and I really

felt like I was reading from the perspective of a realistic 12-year old. And I

also think that besides the mindset of the main character, how the main

character herself was constructed and how the side characters were constructed and

her parents and everything was done realistically - they had good parts to

them and they had bad parts to them. They were created realistically. Sometimes

it's hard to really create a realistic cast of characters in a fantasy novel

because there are heroes and there are villains and it's hard to do that

realistically, but she definitely did. Furthermore, the relationships she

creates between these characters was also just so realistic, they just were

also real. This novel is set in this fantasy world with all these different

aspects that we can't relate to, but she managed to keep it real by having these

characters and these relationships that were real. And speaking of fantasy, I also

have to talk about how amazing the plot and world-building in this novel was

because the world-building by far takes the cake for me as the best part of this

novel. Creating a fantasy world is hard and it's especially hard when it's the

first book of that fantasy world because you can get into the mistake of info-

dumping a lot. It's obvious that the author took the time and the effort to

actually create a world that she was proud of or that really seemed like a

good fantasy world. There are so many intricate details and elements of this

novel and the way it ties together fantasy with Bengali culture and with

actual scientific elements is just beautiful and it creates this amazing

world that I cannot wait to be more immersed in. Just the creation and the

development of this world as we got to see it through the main character's eyes -

we got to see her discover this world and we got to see her grow to be

comfortable in it, so we also kind of grew to be

comfortable in it with her because we kind of got to go on this journey with

her. We learned about the world with her, so it didn't feel like all this info was

coming at us, it felt like we were gradually experiencing

this world and we were learning it with her and by the end of this novel I

feel confident that I know this world well enough, maybe not to go into it

because I don't really want to, but I know this world well and that's because

of how she developed it and how she added all these intricate details into

it that I'm just amazed at the outcome of this unbelievable, incredible

world she created. Now I don't really want to get into the plot because, as I

said, this is supposed to be spoiler free, so all I'm gonna say is the plot is just

as good as all these other elements, so I plead that you support this novel. I know

it's going to impact so many Indian kids out there and even more so, it's just a

good book. It's a book you're going to enjoy - I'm not someone who reads a lot of

middle-grade and I am not someone who read a lot of fantasy, but I enjoyed it

in spite of those elements, and honestly, because of those elements. I think that

she made those elements enjoyable for me and I think that if I said that I

enjoyed this novel, I can bet that quite a few of you will too.

I will also leave my Goodreads review of this novel linked in the description

below and I will leave links to where you can purchase this novel if you have

the ability to do so. It is out on February 27th. And with that, I'm going to

conclude this video. Thank you all so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed it -

happy and comment down below whether or not you are going to be going ahead and

much for watching, I hope you're having a lovely day or night wherever you are,
