Hi, I'm Diana Tolin of Dial C Costumes

and my partner Alicia and I created

Becoming Valkyrie.

We wanted it to be something that was comfortable and easy to wear,

but also really gave the look of armor and metal,

so we ended up using leather scraps or pleather scraps

and a lot of different metallic paints on fabric.

The whole thing itself is actually quite light

and then has a lot of reflective metallic fabric pieces

in order to, sort of, emulate metal.

Seeing Vanessa put the Valkyrie costume on,

it's like watching something that you love be born.

We were really thrilled.

And I can't say enough how much we loved this opportunity.

Storage space in the Jeep can be a bit scarce.

Smittybilt will solve that problem with the G.E.A.R. front seat covers for all year Wranglers.

This will double-up on providing some great protection to your Jeep's factory seats and

provide many storage options for your off-road adventures or even if you just wanna be prepared

for your everyday adventures.

Not to mention, this seat cover gives a very military-style look, and just looks bad-ass,

making a difference on your Jeep's interior.

I think the military guys are really gonna like this one a lot since you can attach all

of your existing pouches that you may have.

Seat covers are always an easy install, so this gets a one outta three wrenches on the

difficulty meter from me, and I'll tell you guys more about that in just a moment.

These seat covers not only look tough, they are tough.

These are made of a 600-denier poly fabric and lined with PVC liner that makes them strong

and durable and, most importantly, it makes them waterproof.

The fabric, being polyester material, will not be as spongey or as comfortable as some

of the neoprene seat covers out there, but this does have a pretty comfortable feel to

it.

This seat cover will provide some pretty good protection.

And even though it doesn't cover the full seat all around, it does do a good job at

covering all the places that you'll be sitting.

There are heavy-duty thick velcro straps that attach around the side and loop through a

hoop system, which makes it good for adjustment and easy install and removal.

These will make sure that you get a tight fit every time and that the seat cover doesn't

shift around when you're getting in and out of the Jeep.

For the storage in the back, there are seven total attachments that come with this cover,

but there are a lot of other options out there.

You can attach them to the back and there's even an option for attaching the pouches on

the side.

And like I said before, if you have a backpack that uses MOLLE or PALS-style attachment systems,

then you can remove them from the cover and attach them to your backpack, or vice versa.

These covers also come in tan and green options, as well as the black, so you have a choice

for your style.

There's really nothing like this on the site right now.

They're listed at right around $110 at the moment and I think the only drawback that

you can take outta this is that it's sold individually and not in a pair.

But you do have to keep in mind that you're not just getting a seat cover here.

You have a lot of other options on what you can store and use in the back of the seat

cover.

We do have other options for a seat cover vest that come in a pair, but they have smaller

pockets on the back, they're a less durable material, and they don't have as many options

for storage systems and attachment systems.

Overall, there are not too many of these specific storage covers on the site, making it a more

unique cover to have.

Install, like I said before, is a breeze at 1 outta 3 wrenches, so give yourself about

10 to 15 minutes to get this seat cover fully installed.

Really, all you have to do is lay the cover over the seat and Velcro the sides through

the loop and pat it down.

Then put the bottom portion over the seat and attach all the hooks underneath.

After that, you can attach all of your pouches, and you're all set.

Prehistoric Paradise discovered at Jaljulia - Duration: 1:40.

ARCHAEOLOGISTS HAVE DISCOVERED A PREHISTORIC SITE DATING FROM 500,000 YEARS AGO AT JULJULIA

NEAR TEL AVIV.

Described as a "paradise" for hunter-gatherers, the discovery has revealed hundreds of flint

axes and artefacts used by ancestors of modern humans – homo erectus.

Maayan Shemer of the Israeli Antiques Authority said: "The discovery is incredible because

of the state of preservation of the pieces and for their implications in our understanding

of this ancient material culture".

Studies of the area have shown that in prehistoric times, a stream flowed near the site, the

area was rich in vegetation and there was an abundance of animal species for early humans

to hunt and gather.

Ran Barkai of Tel Aviv university said: "The water brought flint nodules from the hills,

which were used to make tools on the spot, that attracted animals, which were hunted

and butchered here."

The site was discovered on land earmarked for development and was a joint research project

by the Israel Antiquities Authority and the University of Tel Aviv.

An IAA spokesman said: "There is no doubt that researching these finds in-depth will

contribute greatly to the understanding of the lifestyle and human behaviour during this

period."

okay super excited today I stopped by the Playmobil booth at the New York Toy

Fair and they are coming out with six awesome dinosaur sets this year they are

with Raptor Playmobil Explorer vehicle with Stegosaurus Playmobil enemy airboat

and then here we have the Ghostbusters a lot of these are from the Real

Ghostbusters it's gonna be it's a new animated Ghostbusters series so it is

really cool and some of these are the older Ghostbusters sets which came out

last year this headquarters and the vehicle here are the older ones that

came out last year but they are totally awesome and here is the new ones from

the Real Ghostbusters so these ones are brand new to diese they do Holograms in

those little squares you see there and then here we have a Playmobil spirit

this is like a horse type set with a lot of different like horse farms and a big

playset so it's a new series for Playmobil

and here we have spring/summer focus sets so you got like weddings and stuff

you would do in spring and summer

and here we have city action sets nice police station police car police van

police dog bag here we have awesome FIFA soccer upset with a bunch of soccer

players I believe the soccer players are sold

separate here we have some more like City sets

there we have like the advent calendar sets

here we have all fairies they have a new series called fairies so they have a

bunch of really cool looking fairy sets

you've got awesome dragon

and then here they have a Halloween set which is really creepy looking this is

one of the take-along set so you can put everything in there put the two sides

together and it forms a nice carrying case some really nice creepy looking set

here we have some more winter sports sets so as you can see most of these are

official NHL hockey sets some really cool ones

and then here's just a quick look at all most of the sets we've gone through are

they got like the characters up on the shelves and then they have the boxes

which is the sets are gonna come in these are the carry case sets which are

really cool and then here is a bunch of characters and like vehicles and boats

and stuff here's that big house set you see earlier and then for just city life

sets

and here is a bunch of characters that are going to be coming out in the cents

so if you want to see what they are you could pause them and actually read the

name tags behind the characters and then they're coming out with remote-control

cars so that's a new one for Playmobil and here is a lot more of the characters

that will be coming out in the sets this year

and they are also going to have blind bags up this year

here's more of the radio-controlled cars remote control and then just more boxes

of the sets we've seen

so blameable is coming out with a lot of cool sets this year and I've talked to

them so hopefully but I'll be reviewing most of these sets for you guys because

I love Playmobil sets I mean next to Lego they are the coolest thing

and then they have this really cool aquarium set that is also coming up this

year

got a bunch of seals and aquatic creatures and some little zoo sets there

also

Hitting Rock Bottom Frees Us From Negative Emotions - Duration: 6:04.

We've all heard it said, "When you hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up."

This can prove especially true in business, where bottoming out as a result of job loss

can be necessary before finding the radical solution that will lead to a new work identity,

according to new research from the University of Notre Dame.

"Hitting Rock Bottom After Job Loss: Bouncing Back to Create a New Positive Work Identity,"

was published this month in Academy of Management Review by lead author Dean Shepherd, the Siegfried

Professor of Entrepreneurship in Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, and Trenton Williams

of Indiana University.

"On the way down, we frantically do all sorts of things to try and repair the situation,

and suffer as they fail," Shepherd says.

"Bottoming out frees us from the misconception that the problems can be fixed, and in the

process, frees us from other constraints and negative emotions and provides the conditions

necessary to find a viable solution."

Individuals who eventually hit rock bottom come to realize their identity has been lost,

and that realization can lead to one of two paths: toward recovery or toward dysfunction.

"Using 'identity play' provides a safe environment to escape the situation and try new things,

discarding bad ideas or finding and refining a new identity and returning stronger than

before."

Play provides an opportunity to both withdraw from the mental anguish and to be creative

in generating alternative new work identities and then trying them out to see how they feel

without having to commit to them, which can be fun.

Once the individual finds a potential identity that feels right, they then begin to refine

the job to make sure it's a good fit for both their needs and the reality of the situation.

Without hitting rock bottom, the individual would not have been freed from the past to

enable them to creatively explore different alternatives for the future.

"A failed corporate executive might consider a variety of other potential roles," Shepherd

says, "For example, sitting on the board of a nonprofit organization that is desperate

for experienced managerial guidance, exploring government positions or running for office,

working with startups, and so forth.

Similarly, a failed entrepreneur might explore how skills learned in starting a business

could be applied in a corporate setting, take standardized exams to be considered for law

school or engage in other low risk exploration activities.

In these cases, hitting rock bottom opens up myriad new opportunities."

Former NFL players Jermichael Finley, Mike Utley and Tony Boselli all suffered career

ending injuries and have refocused on other business ventures.

Finley, in his 20s suffered a spinal cord injury while playing as a tight end for the

Green Bay Packers.

He is now coaching and invested in a gym.

Utley played guard for the Detroit Lions when a game injury left him paralyzed.

He started the Mike Utley Foundation.

Boselli was a defensive tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars who retired early due to a nagging

shoulder injury.

He's now 45 and admits he still suffers from an "identity crisis" but continues working

with the Jaguars on their Sunday radio show as well as other radio shows including Westwood

One.

He also coaches high school football and started a small healthcare company.

The less desirable path involves using fantasy as a means of escape and can include alcohol

and drug use.

Along this less desirable path, "people will oscillate between no emotion and severe negative

emotion and make no progress toward building a new identity, which can eventually lead

to even worse outcomes like suicide," Shepherd says.

Recent studies have explored the impact of career-ending injuries for musicians and soldiers-injuries

that generated intense negative emotions as they approached rock bottom.

In both studies, some of these individuals were fixated on the loss of a former identity,

paralyzed by the realization that they could no longer perform or continue in an established

role.

Some sought escape through cognitive deconstruction, including the use of drugs.

"A failed executive might resort to a numb state that involves abusing alcohol, engaging

in menial tasks at home or becoming a couch potato," Shepherd says.

"However, when friends offer job suggestions or ask why the executive has yet to land a

new position, it could launch the individual from the numb state into extreme negative

emotions leading to destructive behavior."

A deeper understanding of why some recover and others languish provides an opportunity

to develop interventions that facilitate recovery from work identity loss.

Shepherd hopes the research helps people realize that hitting rock bottom can be an opportunity

to let go of a broken and unrepairable life and begin anew to develop a new life, as well

as avoid the negative path of fantasy that obstructs recovery.

A research leader in the field of entrepreneurship, Shepherd specializes in entrepreneurial cognitions,

new venture strategy, opportunity recognition and learning from failure.
