We CANNOT Overlook Brett Kavanaugh's Perjury - Duration: 5:48.

A question from @orion_con who asks, "We know for certain that Kavanaugh lied under oath

to the senate in 2004 and 2006 regarding stolen emails.

This perjury is grounds for removal from his current judicial appointment, so why don't

we hear more about it?

This alone should stop him."

It should and that's crazy to me.

You know, even before the first accuser came forward against Kavanaugh, we already had

evidence of four different times when Kavanaugh committed perjury in front of the senate judiciary

committee.

Yes, he was under oath and he lied.

That's illegal.

That is.

That's why Bill Clinton got impeached for lying under oath, and yet that whole story

about Kavanaugh disappeared when the accusers came forward.

I understand that sexually assaulting someone is a thousand times worse than lying under

oath.

I do.

I get it, but we had already known about the perjury before the women came forward.

The fact that Republicans didn't even decide to, "You know what, Kavanaugh?

You got to get out, okay?

If you don't get out now, you're going to lose your current job because they've got

all this evidence of perjury."

They didn't care.

They still pushed forward with it.

That's why I keep going back to this point that I've made time and time again.

Kavanaugh's not going to be sitting on any bench for the rest of his life.

We have that evidence of perjury now.

Don't think that the Democrats are not keeping that in their back pocket.

Even if Kavanaugh goes to the Supreme Court, which is most likely going to happen, I mean

hey, it could have happened already, I don't know, but if he goes, he's not going to be

there for too long.

Because the Democrats eventually get control of the senate again, they'll launch investigations

not just into the sexual assault, but into the perjury.

They're going to pull the documents.

They're going to pull the testimony.

They're going to put them side by side and say, "He said this here and they contradicted

it here by saying something the exact opposite, so one of these is a lie," doesn't really

matter which one because it's perjury.

Then you get to impeach him.

If he's sitting on the lower bench, you impeach from there.

He's out of the court system for the rest of his life, at least on the judicial side.

If he's on the Supreme Court, you impeach him from there and then you got a vacancy

once again.

I don't think that the Democrats, those in power, have actually forgotten about the perjury.

I think they think that nailing them on the nailing sexual assault is going to be a better

issue to get him out and get his nomination out.

Unfortunately, they didn't count on the fact that Republicans have no problem with it.

I mean watch Fox News if you can stomach it for 30 minutes and you'll see that these people

have no problem at all with sexual assault.

CNN this past weekend sat down with a couple of Trump supporters and they said, "Look,

even if he did it, it doesn't bother me.

He should still go to the Supreme Court."

They're trying to write it off like, "It was in high school.

All boys rape in high school."

They said that.

They actually said that.

"All boys have done this in high school."

No, we haven't by the way.

If you think all boys do this, then I'm pretty sure you need to go speak to authorities right

now because obviously somebody's done this to you and they need to be held accountable

as well.

Republicans don't care about the sexual assault.

They're going to push forward.

The Democrats thought it would be enough to stop him.

It's been enough to turn the public against him, that's for sure, and that's also important,

but it's not enough to actually stop the nomination.

That's where the perjury comes in.

You got to have that.

You've got to keep that.

As long as we know that that happens and as long as we have that evidence, it doesn't

matter how long it takes.

If it's six years before the Democrats take back the senate, well, we could still impeach

him then.

He could do an awful lot of damage on either of the lower court or the Supreme Court in

that amount of time, but eventually this man's going to pay for his crimes.

He's going to pay for it with his job and then Republicans are going to pay for it with

their jobs.

That's the next step because it's not just about Kavanaugh, it's about the people, these

Republican politicians, who railroaded this nomination through, didn't want to listen

to the accusers, didn't want to start an investigation, didn't want to pay attention to the perjury.

They are complicit at this point and they need to be held accountable.

Unfortunately, the only way they can be held accountable is with their constituents.

If the Democrats are holding onto that perjury information, if they're holding onto the sexual

assault information, the best thing they can do is use it for every Republican member of

that judiciary committee and an election campaign against them.

Make sure that information gets to their opponent whether they're running this year, two years

from now, or two years after that.

Either way, they have to be held accountable for ignoring the rule of law here in the United

States.

We have to take a quick break, but again if you have a question for us, please send it

God (not the Devil) Was in the Details First - Duration: 8:08.

The devil is in the details or fine print you've heard with people I'm sure

declare that exasperation. Are you aware that it belonged to God first? Taking the

easy way out and relying on God to bail us out can lead to disaster. The "devil is

in the details" consider this explanation in Wikipedia

the devil in the detail quote is an idiom that refers to a catch or

mysterious element hidden in the details meaning that something might seem simple

at first look but will take more time and effort to complete than expected and

derives from the earlier phrase God is in the detail expressing the idea that

whatever one does should be done thoroughly that is the details are

important now let me ask you did you catch that God is in the details came

before the phrase we know best God is in the detail that exact phrasing has been

attributed to some different individuals but most notably it was to german-born

architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe he was from 1886 to 1969 and as they say

that information comes from Wikipedia we hear the the plural word details devil

based one more frequently today because it really does serve to warn us to be

wary of something that looks too simple or too good to be right at face value

you'll also hear a version that reminds us that the devil is in the fine print

you've heard that one too I'm sure now aside from the insights from

Wikipedia details precision and exactness have always mattered to God

and he was there first every system and process in the universe operates within

a well framed systematic and precise framework it may look chaotic at times

and you know think earthquakes hurricanes volcanoes as just a few

examples but the fact is the little things matter

modern science continues to take baby steps really in comprehending the nature

functions and complexities of even the atom alright so

how did the original phrase of God being in the details become overshadowed by

the devil getting the credit I believe this that there is up I guess

a fundamental almost or a basic human fleshy desire to take the easy way out

we want the best fastest and least resistant path to perceived success in

depth planning analysis and rigorous assessment represent non spiritual

activities that require a skill set an effort level that I think many

Christians even certainly choose to bypass so the devil can be in the

details indeed if we ignore common sense and avoid due diligence the challenge

heightens for Christians who are encouraged to believe God take steps of

faith and expect him to fight their battles people often spiritual eyes a

lack of effort because they think that they will be doubting God by questioning

or analysing what their natural I see you hear these scriptures nothing is

impossible for God that's Luke 1:37 do not be afraid or discouraged because of

this vast army for the battle is not yours but gods and that can second

chronicles 2:15 look those are good scriptures but it's not the total story

I want to relate my own experience with small group and cell based churches just

this just as an example now look at some of the largest churches or our cell

churches overseas are are indeed use that model but it's floundered in the

United States I think for a variety of reasons many American churches have

implemented homegroup of structures on some level as I say in cell groups or

home groups but this success rate is really measured by growth quite honestly

I think that varies my wife and I over the years have led and been part of many

small group ministries and sessions oh and that's over our time as believers

we've seen good fruit come from them discipleship and ministry at times but

here's the thing none of the churches that we're a part

of really thrived or grew because of them the

topic is near and dear to my heart quite honestly because my home church that I

love and attend regularly has a young and passionate pastor and they're

embarking on this venture delicate I hope and pray it goes well the vision is

good and biblically sound I mean look at the church and acts was a home-based

cell church if you like let me be clear the vision is right it's good it's a

good quote and a god idea and most sheep in the flock support it so what's the

issue the other churches that that I spoke about in our experience were

generally healthy and were led by solid pastors who had sincere hearts in

retrospect I believe personally that in most cases inadequate training and

attention to the details that quote the nuts and bolts of the cell church

process the small group process led to the device of these these small groups

they began grew to a point and then stagnated and really and I'm not saying

it's part of it but quite honestly even three of those churches eventually

eventually closed down Christian businesspeople and leaders I believe

often err when they do not thoughtfully devise implement and monitor a proper

plan it's hard work and I think it's easier to just many times ignore the

need and just quote trust God to make it all work somehow now look at humanists

in the world they don't fall into this trap because they have zero expectation

of a God really being involved in their success they believe it depends 100% on

their efforts and maybe some luck working together I would contend for us

as believers there's a difference between a step of faith and a leap of

foolishness let me ask you something do you have a vision or a desire for a

ministry or business that's a great start but it's not enough get help to

develop a strategic and tactical plan that encompasses what you feel the Lord

has called you to do and what best business practices are going to suggest

it should be flexible spirit land but also a reflection of your best analysis

and process creation the devil is indeed in the details if we ignore the fine

print if and he will work overtime to torpedo your venture through any number

of ways look at Jesus interaction with Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38 42 I think

really illustrates the the challenge Mary spent a time at the Lord's feet

while Martha attended to the preparation Martha in this encounter comes off kind

of poorly but I believe this that the churches and businesses need both types

to be successful what Martha was doing was important we must pray spend time

with the Lord those are priorities and then perform the necessary tasks with

excellence God is indeed in the details if you're

starting these ventures or in business or ministry or church growth look if you

need help in this area get it be wisent alert for God's timing some people I

think never get anything done because they're always waiting for the Lord to

quote open the door it's okay to move out and start turning doorknobs - I hope

this has been a blessing to you god bless you

Powerful Panel Discussion Tip #168 with Susan Morris: Ideas to Interact with the Audience - Duration: 1:07.

Susan, what things do you do to interact with the audience?

As moderator, not a ton, other than beforehand I always walk the line and ask them about

things.

I also participate with the audience before the panel starts.

I basically have the panelists and I chat with them, about why they're there, what they've

enjoyed, what they're looking for, all this kind of stuff.

And so by starting a conversation, they feel like they're already a part of the panel.

And then in the Q&A, of course...

And I also, afterwards, after the panel, if I ever had someone who was difficult that

I had to correct, I always go out and find them and talk to them and make sure that they're

okay, because sometimes it can be really harsh to have to be cut off by a moderator, and

I make sure they understood what happened.
