- I am a big boy.

I wear big boy pants and have big boy guns.

I use big boy juice

by the hundreds of tons.

As you can see, there's four big boys behind me.

Their names are Keith, Mitch, Mike, and Jeremy.

And before you ask, yes,

each one is my son.

You can't tell 'cause their masks,

but trust me, they're having fun.

A big boy mask to hide their big boy grin

'cause when we swing huge battering rams,

us big boys win.

To the citizens of Lake County,

please fear us.

It's the only thing we want from you,

way more than your trust.

Armored vests, guns, and battering rams,

cooler toys can't be found in Toys "R" Us land.

Citizens of Lake County, listen to my pleas.

Dressing up my boys all scary is how I get my jollies.

I'm a big fucking man.

Please, please believe me.

If you don't, we will shoot you.

That's the message, you see.

Watch your backs.

We are coming for you. Run.

The Dangers Of Invokana: A Diabetes Drug - Duration: 3:48.

According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control, more than 29 million

Americans suffer from diabetes, and nearly one in four people with the disease aren't

even aware that they have it.

Even worse, as many as 86 million Americans currently suffer from pre-diabetes, and if

preemptive measures aren't taking, they're going to be diagnosed with full blown diabetes,

probably in a matter of years.

With so many people suffering from both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, Big Pharma saw an opportunity

to make a huge profit.

But in their rush to cash in on diabetes epidemics, they cut corners and they created one product

that's causing as much harm, if not more than the actual disease that it was supposed to

treat.

That product is called Invokana.

Invokana was developed by Janssen, an offshoot of Johnson & Johnson.

Unlike other diabetes medications that are designed to help the body produce more insulin

to metabolize sugar, Invokana actually forces the body to filter sugar out of the blood

by the kidneys and this sugar's expelled as a waste.

Sounds like an easy process, but it's potentially catastrophic in some situations.

As a result of this, the body loses the carbohydrates that it needs to function, the kidneys become

overworked and can eventually shutdown, and the body goes into a form of survivor mode

where it begins to break down muscle tissue and stored fat, it begins to break that down

to compensate for that loss of sugar.

This condition is called "diabetic ketoacidosis" and it's deadly.

Diabetic ketoacidosis occurs when the body begins to break itself down in search of energy,

and it creates a dangerously high level of acid in the bloodstream.

This condition is extremely painful and the patient can end up losing control over their

bodily functions completely.

Their kidneys can shut down completely, and they can die.

On May 15th, 2015, the FDA warned consumers about the increased risk of ketoacidosis from

Invokana, so Janssen was put on notice that their medication was extremely dangerous for

consumers.

But this wasn't the first time that they FDA had expressed concerns over Invokana.

The drug was approved in 2013, and it was only approved by the FDA by a margin of one

vote.

That's how close it was.

Members of the approval committee were concerned about the safety of the drug, but they voted

eight to seven to put it on the market, as we usually see with the FDA.

Always making decisions that favor the drug companies.

But Janssen wasn't about to let their cash cow go away.

After all, the drug was pulling in more than one billion dollars a year for the company,

so they tried to use ketoacidosis in their favor.

They tried to make it into a positive.

They actually went around telling doctors that patients might even lose weight if they

take this drug.

That's how sick of a marketing campaign they had running on this drug.

Of course, they didn't bother to tell the doctors that the weight loss was due to the

fact that the patient's body would begin to metabolize itself in a horrendous way.

But all Janssen saw were profits, and those dollar signs always trump warning signs.

If you know of a family member, or if you're taking this drug, you really need to go talk

to your doctor about some alternatives.

There are many alternatives out there that are as good or better as Invokana that don't

cause these types of physical problems.

Prisoners Built Computers Behind Bars To Commit Cyber Crimes - Duration: 1:49.

Hey everyone, for Complex News, I'm Justin Block.

When you imagine what a typical hacker may look like, perhaps shady-looking guys in hoods

come to mind.

Forget that, because two Ohio inmates are getting props for building their own computers

and hacking into the prison's network—while still behind bars.

In July 2015, Adam Johnston and Scott Spriggs were prisoners at Ohio's Marion Correctional

Institution.

It's a low-security prison that uses inmate labor to recycle old computer parts.

According to a 50-page Ohio Inspector General report, Johnston and Spriggs managed to sneak

away enough parts to build not one, but two fully functioning computers.

The report says the computers were hidden on a plywood board in a ceiling above a closet.

Clever.

More incredibly, though, the pair ran ethernet cables through the ceiling, connecting their

computers to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's network.

Now plugged into the system, Johnston and Spriggs ran wild online.

They downloaded articles on homemade drugs, explosives, and fake tax returns.

They even managed to steal the identity of another inmate and use his information to

apply for credit cards.

Investigators also found hacking software on the homemade computers to wreak havoc on

the prison.

They were able to access disciplinary records, sentencing data, and inmate locations.

Using that info, they issued passes for inmates to gain unauthorized access to different parts

of the prison.

Blessed with an Internet connection, Johnston and Spriggs did normal Internet things too,

like download porn, music, and movies.

You know, just some basic online browsing.

They got caught, though.

One day, the network notified staff that a computer on the network had exceeded its daily

usage threshold.

Apparently, there's no unlimited data in prison.

That's the news for now, but for more stories like this, be sure to subscribe to Complex

Alert: Spy Pics Reveal NK's Apocalyptic Plans for Saturday's "Day of the Sun" - Duration: 2:34.

New satellite images from Kim Jong Un's North Korea showed the communist country's

nuclear site at Punggye-ri is "primed and ready" for a new nuclear test, the Washington-based

think tank 38 North reported Wednesday.

The images reportedly showed North Korea preparing to detonate a nuclear bomb to coincide with

its national day, the "Day of the Sun" on Saturday.

According to 38 North, the images showed "unusually high levels of activity" at the site over

the past four weeks.

The satellite imagery from April 2 showed an increased level of activity around the

site's "North Portal," or the tunnel where the country's four most recent nuclear

tests have taken place.

And according to 38 North, aerial photos taken Wednesday showed continued activity at the

nuclear site.

Other activities that seemed to indicate that the nuclear site was preparing for another

test included increased personnel activity around the command center area located at

the compound.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Thursday that it was possible that Pyongyang might

have the ability to deliver missiles equipped with weapons of mass destruction — specifically,

chemical weapons like those recently used in Syria.

"There is a possibility that North Korea already has a capability to deliver missiles

with sarin (nerve gas) as warheads," Abe told a parliamentary session, according to

Reuters.

North Korea's most important national day — its "Day of the Sun" — is on Saturday,

April 15, when North Korea celebrates the birthday of its founding president Kim Il

Sung.

According to Reuters, North Korean leaders have used the date for major weapons test

in the past.

The country's current ruler, Kim Jong Un, has hinted that he had something big planned

for the day, but another missile firing, like Pyongyang launched earlier this month, or

a nuclear test could be a mistake of epic proportions: President Donald Trump has unequivocally

told Kim not to perform any more tests and he has urged China to work to keep the dictator

in check.

After Trump's recent muscle-flexing in Syria, Kim would be wise to back down.

Please Share this news… and let us know what you think about Kim Jong Un and his possible

plans for the "Day of the Sun."

HOW & WHAT I STUDIED TO PASS THE RD EXAM - Duration: 8:11.

Am I going to fail?? I'm going to be

honest with you guys that R.D. exam

is no joke!

(MUSIC)

So HI everyone my name is Kim

I am a registered dietitian as usual if

you're new to my channel welcome go

ahead and push that subscribe button for

my regular visitors: welcome back. I'm

going to be honest with you guys that

R.D. exam is no joke! It's a hard aye!

Sometimes I think I'm in Canada so I

like to aye a lot. (Kiss) love to all my Canadians

out there. That R.D. exam had me very

very anxious. I'm just going to share

with you a few things I did to pass my

R.D. exam which may be helpful for you. If

you guys have watched any of my previous

videos popping up now. Click on it. You

guys will know that I did my internship

with the United States government so my

internship had a very heavy clinical

base and clinical foundation. So towards

the end of my internship my internship

director was encouraging all the

dietetic interns to go ahead and start

applying for a job because you're going

to be our R.D. eligible. So for those of you

that do not know basically what R.D.

eligible is it's when you're finished

with your internship, you haven't taken

your exam but, you can still apply for a

job and have a dietitian co-sign on your

notes. So that's what we all started to

do and I was offered a job before I

finished my internship. So I finished my

internship on a Friday and that Monday I

started my job. So what does this have to

do with the R.D. exam? So actually I was

not someone who you know took time off

right after finishing my internship and

just hit the books . The reason for that

is you know right after the internship

you need money, so definitely I was like

well you know why not kill two birds

with one stone get some money because

you know there's bills that have to be

paid and also learn as much from

actually being in the clinical setting. I

actually waited three months to take my

R.D. exam after I finished my internship

and during this time

I was working and I was studying. So

something that was always a little

difficult for me was memorizing the

whole entire list of medications and the

different micronutrients that it affects

so being able to work and to see how

solu-medrol can affect someone and to

see how all the other medications out

there could affect someone actually

helped me with my studies. Another tool

that I used was this book that I have

right here in front of me. I hope you

guys can see it's my R.D. exam review guide.

I actually got this book about two years

before taking my R.D. exam. Reason why I

got it two years before taking my R.D.

exam; another video popping up right now.

It was the only tool that I used to

study for my exam. So something that I

should have said with the Breeding and

Associates book it breaks down what the

exam will cover. So during the time that

I took my exam is said that 40 % was going to be on clinical and

community nutrition which I feel that

was my strong point. Twelve percent was

going to be on food science, food safety.

Ten percent was going to be on

counseling, communication, education and

research. Seventeen percent was going to

be on food service which was my weak

point and 21% percent was going

to be on management, marketing, quality

improvement, human resources. Something that

was always a little difficult for me

during the entire studying process where

these calculations that you find in food

service. Like finding the fixed cost?

Finding the number of servings from a

number 12 scoop size in a 12 gallon

container? The only thing I really

understood were FTE's, edible portion and

as purchased portion so the food service

was always a little difficult for me. So

certain things that I did as well

besides actually working in the field

and understanding why we do things in

dietetics the way that it's done and

studying for my exam simultaneously

while I was working, I had to learn to

relax! Because as I stated earlier I had,

I was just very nervous I was

nervous Nellie. Something that I did um

different relaxation techniques for

instance I would pray a lot and I would

pray often. I would pray right before I

study and I would pray after I studied and

I was like Lord Jesus please help me to

retain this information. I was hired as

someone that is R.D. eligible so if I

didn't pass my dietitian exam I was

going to be fired! Something else that I

did decide to do, the night before my exam I just

stopped saying because I said well if I

don't know it now, I'm not going to know

it. So when it was the day for me to take

my exam I actually had one of my family

member drive me to the site because I

mean the site was probably an hour and a

half away so that did give me some

time to review certain things that I

didn't know. So I actually got to my

destination about an hour early because

as I stated before in a previous video I

like to scope out locations especially

if I haven't been there before. I became

familiar with the location I saw the

amount of traffic that was flowing

through. During my exam I was a bit

shocked because my exam focused a lot on

clinical. Off the bat I kid you not, I

could've swore I was taking a pharmacy

exam. Now I don't remember how many

questions I actually got on the exam. My

dietetic internship director said

something to me; don't quote me on this,

like... like.. it was like 200, like 200

questions on the test I can't remember.

So the way how the test works you have

and don't quote me on this because I

mean I took my exam a while ago, about

200 questions if i'm not mistaken and my

internship director said the test will

shut off on you automatically as soon as

you get enough points to pass. With that

200 questions she was saying okay like

the test is automatically going to shut

off as soon as you get the proper amount

of points. So when I got to question like

180 I was like okay? I was like God why, why is

it my test shutting off, am am I

going to fail?? and 181 test is still

going ,182, 183 and I'm sweating and

then I pause and I

said a little prayer. So I got to question

188 if i'm not mistaken and my test

shut off: Congratulations you passed and

i was like all right. I'm a dietitian!

Because you guys know I had a lot

on the line. I had this job that I wanted

to keep at my local hospital and granted

I worked for three months so coming

right out of my internship I mean I

didn't get the time to sit down and just

delve myself into the information. So

there were six of us in my dietetic

internship class and one of the dietetic

interns took her test, she was the first

one, she took her test like three weeks

after the internship finished and I was

the second to last person to take my

test. And also got like a lot of

situational questions where two answers

could be right but, it uses it likes to

use you know what is the best answer.

So these are just a few tips, few

things that I did to pass my R.D. exam. For

other dietitians out there please

leave in the comments section below what

are some things that you did to pass

your R.D. exam? What are some tips that

you want to give future dietitians,

dietetic interns because now is that

season where you guys are about to take

your exam. As always remember to like as

well as subscribe. Thank you guys for

watching have a good day bye.

Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 | Denton Peterson, P.C. - Duration: 3:23.

Here, at Denton Peterson, we do a lot of work

with respected trade secrets. Trade secrets

come up in employment actions a lot,

they come up in relationships between

independent contractors, and they come up

in business relationships. And so, we deal

with them quite a bit. In Arizona, there are

three factors that essentially decide

whether something is a trade secret or

not. First of all, it has to be a secret,

confidential. Second, it has to be valuable

by virtue of being confidential. And

third, it has to be subject to reasonable

protections by the owner. If you don't

take care of it and keep it secret, then

it's not going to be a trade secret under

the law. Well, in 2016, the federal

government passed the Defense Trade

Secret Act of 2016. It's a new federal

cause of action. It creates new

opportunities for both employees and

employers with respected trade secrets,

and it requires new provisions for

employers who want to make sure that

their employment contracts provide the

maximum protection of respected

confidential information. So, first a

little bit of background. The Defense

Trade Secrets Act does not preempted

state law. Arizona has state law about

trade secrets, and specifically, it has

the uniform trade secret act, and

that's been in place since 1990. That

state law, although it's based upon a

uniform law that a lot of other states

have adopted, it's completely unique. So

it's important to have someone who

understands the nuances of Arizona's law

with respect to trade secrets. Arizona's

trade secret law that existed since 1990,

also preempt other common law causes of

action. So it's important to understand

the interplay between common law causes

of action, contractual causes of action,

and statutory causes of action, like the

new Defend Trade Secrets Act. So

again, it's important to talk to somebody

who understands called how all those laws

work together to protect trade secrets

and to make sure that people who own

trade secrets have recourse if

somebody's misappropriated them. One of

the main provisions of this new Defend

Trade Secrets Act of 2016, is that it has

what's called an ex parte seizure right.

Ex parte means you not to tell the other

side, and a seizure right means you could

go in and get the judge to grant the

right to seize information or property

to protect the trade secret. Now it's not

an easy thing to get.

It never is an easy thing to get if

you're not going to give notice to the

other party, but it can apply if a few

categories are met. First of all, if even

an ordinary temporary restraining order

is not going to be fast enough. If the

defendant is likely to evade or not

comply with the a TRO, something like that,

and if the defendant took a trade secret,

and the circumstances indicate that the

defendant likely to hide or destroy the

secret information, if those things apply,

and there's a chance that you might be

able to get an ex parte seizure order

under the new Defen d Trade Secrets Act,

the federal law. You got to be careful

with it. A court can award damages, but

the court can also, afterwards if it

decides that when you came in and got

your ex parte seizure, that you

overreached, that you took too much, that

you exaggerated the trade secret, things

like that then, the court has the right

to award damages against the person who

went in and got the seizure. It even can

award punitives or attorneys fees in

those situations. So it's important to

consult with a lawyer who understands the

Depend Trade Secrets Act, before you

go running off the court trying to get

that exclusive kind of remedy.
