Review - Lego Friends: Heartlake Skate Park (41099) - Duration: 10:17.

Hey everyone!

JAYSTEPHER with Heartlake Skate Park by Lego Friends.

Set number 41099.

Contains 199 pieces.

Recommended building ages are 6 through 12.

This appears to be one awesome skate park.

Mia is included.

Look at all the various accessories we can build.

Let's open this up.

I'm in the mood to go skateboarding.

Wow that was packed a bit sloppy in my opinion.

We get an instruction manual,

two numbered bags.

and a set of stickers.

I was hoping the bricks were printed.

What are we waiting for?

Let's head over to the Heartlake Skate Park.

The Heartlake Skate Park is a fun colorful set to assemble.

On the bottom we have Mia,

her puppy,

and some cones,

some skating equipment,

a vending machine,

and a lifeguard station.

Let's take a closer look at each.

First we have Mia

and her puppy on the right.

On the left, we have some cones.

She is holding a camera.

Her blouse is printed.

Her puppy is on a green skateboard with purple wheels.

She is wearing a hat.

It does have an accessory slot on the back.

Let's take a quick look at the half pipe.

I like the color scheme of light [purple,

white,

orange,

and lime green.

We have a pannier on the rail

with a dog bone.

So we have to bribe the puppy

on the half pipe.

It also can be closed up

to make a quarter pipe.

Let's test this out.

We have a lip here at the bottom.

Let's see how smooth it is.

Now removing the string off this skateboard is a bit of a challenge.

I don't want to take a risk of breaking these wheels.

So let's just have the puppy go down backwards.

Really?

Well that's not very safe.

I was kind of worried that it would hit this lip,

and it does.

Now let's put Mia on here.

You got to have a turn. Right?

Here we go!

No we don't want to do any face plants.

Yeah it's kind of hard to roller skate on a half pipe

with a camera.

Next we have an obstacle area.

It has a color scheme of live green,

orange,

grey, and light purple

with a hint of tan and brown.

On the top-left,

we have a boombox.

The tile on the front of the boombox is printed.

It can be removed.

Nice design.

We have a bench that sits in the middle

and a rail on the left.

The top of this setup

is finished off nice.

We don't want to lean back too far.

That's a long drop.

Alright Mia, you're going to test this out first.

Too bad the wheels on her roller skates don't move.

Everything is finished off.

She can easily can go over the obstacles.

Now let's try the little puppy.

I guess Mia wants to take a nap.

Lazy!

Okay here we go.

Not too bad.

Can't do too much on the rail slide.

Not too bad of a build.

Here we have a vending machine.

It is a nice design.

Here we have a lever on the back

to release the sodas.

We have a mailbox with a transparent door.

I'm not sure what this is for

unless it's meant to hold the sodas

like a refrigerator.

This is where the soda can will come out.

We just pull this back.

It's really stiff,

and they do fall down,

and then it pushes it out.

It's a nice design.

It is functional.

Let's get another soda.

You can easily reload it on the top.

Honestly this is one ugly looking soda machine,

but it is functional.

Let's try that again.

Yeah!

Really nice.

Let's put those back in before they roll all over the place,

and it is the right height for Mia.

So she can get a soda after skating.

Finally we have the lifeguard station.

It is a nice simple build.

I'm not sure as to why this was included

in the Heartlake Skate Park set.

We have stairs that take you up into the station.

We have a 2 by 2 flat tile

that has a life preserver printed on the front.

A nice palm tree.

It does have a sign.

That tile was supposed to have a sticker

that I choose not to put on.

I like this tree.

Very nice.

The station does have a color scheme of orange,

light purple,

tan,

and brown.

A ladder that takes you from the water to the station.

A set of binoculars.

It is the right height for Mia.

I don't think she's suppose to be up there.

She's not the lifeguard.

It is a nice build.

Here are the stickers and spare pieces.

The set does come with a nice colorful set of print work.

Too bad the graphics were not printed on the bricks.

Off tot he right we have various plates,

tiles,

studs,

and other various bricks

which may come in handy to enhance Heartlake Skate park

or for other Lego creations.

This concludes the review for

This is one awesome set.

Not only we get Mia and her puppy,

but we get bricks to build a lifeguard station,

a soda machine,

and skate park accessories.

This set will be a perfect addition for any Lego city,
