YouTube to remove Logan Paul's channel from Google Preferred after 'suicide video' controversy

YouTube are set to remove Logan Pauls channels from Google Preferred from the video sharing site in light of the suicide video he posted on 31 December.

In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul's channels from Google Preferred," a YouTube spokesperson told Variety. Additionally, we will not feature Logan in Season 4 of 'Foursome' and his new originals are on hold..

Logan had featured in the YouTube Red comedy series, with the third season having aired in November. YouTube previously hinted he faced his channel being shut down after suggesting the bosses were looking into further consequences.

'We expect more of the creators who build their community on @YouTube, as we're sure you do too. The channel violated our community guidelines, we acted accordingly, and we are looking at further consequences..

Bosses also apologised for having taken so long to respond to the backlash as the video received six million views before being removed.

Metro. uk spoke to celebrity expert Eric Schiffer, Chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, who told us Logan needs to 'stay dark' and let things settle before even thinking about making a public comeback.

'The scandal will scorch him with advertisers who opted out of his video library on YouTube and sponsorships faster than he could fly home from Tokyo,' Schiffer said.

'The most sensitive brands – who once wanted the 'young clicks' from his account – react within hours.'. In the insensitive 15 minute clip he uploaded, Logan discovers a dead body and repeatedly zooms in on the dead man's face and hands.

He later apologised for the move, and retreated from his channel, which has over 15 million subscribers. He tweeted: 'Taking time to reflect no vlog for now see you soon.'.

reform.

Democrats are stuck.

They can't save DACA illegals without agreeing to the GOP's demands.

Trump wants the wall, wants to end chain-migration and bring an end to policies like catch and

release.

The only way Democrats can salvage Obama's terrible policy, they have to agree to these

reasonable changes.

Yet Democrats refuse to budge.

All their boasts are falling flat.

Trump has exposed their hypocrisy and weakness.

He proved that liberals aren't really concerned with helping immigrants (legal or otherwise),

but being the opposition party.

Unless they are willing to play ball, the Democrats will fail completely.

They will not be able to protect DACA.

Plus they will lose their plan of importing new voters from third world countries.

The best they can ask for is preserving the ever-shrinking number of DACA recipients left.

But only in exchange for Trump's demands.

Either way, President Trump will have his way.

That's what you get when you elected a master negotiator.

BREAKING: Republican Rep. Darrell Issa to Retire – Here Is What We Know So Far - Duration: 2:07.

The balance of power in the United States House of Representatives may see a major shift,

after California Rep. Darrell Issa has announced he will retire at the end of his term.

Issa has been a stalwart conservative in the House of Representatives, leading investigations

into the IRS bias against conservative groups, as well as the "Fast and the Furious"

Obama scandal.

Issa won his last election by a single percentage point, and his re-election in the very Democratic

California would have been an uphill battle.

An open seat would likely be won by Democrats, pundits say.

Fox News reports details.

California Rep. Darrell Issa, the Republican who investigated some of the biggest scandals

of the Obama presidency, is retiring from Congress at the end of this term, he announced

Wednesday.

"Throughout my service, I worked hard and never lost sight of the people our government

is supposed to serve," Issa said in a statement.

"Yet with the support of my family, I have decided that I will not seek re-election in

California's 49th District."

Issa, 64, served as chairman of House Oversight Committee from 2011 to 2015, where he led

hearings into the IRS scandal, the attack in Benghazi and the Fast and Furious operation.

In that role, he famously tangled with Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on

the panel, and former IRS official Lois Lerner and was a familiar presence on television.

A former businessman, Issa was first elected to Congress in 2001.

But he was facing an uphill battle in his re-election after defeating his Democratic

challenger by less than a percentage point in 2016.

Democrats are eyeing the seat as a potential pickup opportunity in the midterm elections

later this year.

Issa's retirement follows a slew of other well-known Republican lawmakers stepping down

for Congress, with House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce announcing his retirement

earlier this week.
