How To Relieve Jaw Pain - Toothache Relief Do you experience severe, throbbing or uncomfortable pain in the jaw? It can arise out of nowhere or even start as a slight weak pain and increase intensity over time. The jaw pain can be so severe that it affects your ability to eat or talk! Before starting to treat your jaw pain, it is important to find out the cause of the problem. Meanwhile, you can try some home remedies and simple lifestyle changes to reduce pain and pain. Here are the 6 best ways to relieve jaw pain. 1. Use ice packs If you have jaw pain that is unbearable, ice therapy is a very effective treatment. It can be uncomfortable to hold an ice pack for a long time against your jaw, but the instant relief you get makes this remedy worth a try. Put ice in a plastic bag. Wrap it in a thin cloth. Apply the ice pack to the affected area for 10 minutes. Take a break for 10 minutes before reapplying the ice pack. 2. Apply hot moist heat Soak a cloth in warm water and wring it out of the excess water. Apply the warm, damp cloth to your face for 5 to 15 minutes. Repeat every 2 hours until the pain disappears. 3. Gently massage the area Apply some hot coconut or olive oil to the jaw. Massage the area with the index and middle fingers, making circular movements for 5 minutes. Take a break and try opening and closing your mouth 4 or 5 times. Repeat this process a few times. You can also massage your neck to relieve tension in the muscles around the jaw. 4. Drink a cup of hot tea Mix 2 teaspoons dried chamomile flowers or green tea leaves in a cup of hot water. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Strain and add a little lemon juice and honey. Drink this tea 2 or 3 times a day. 5. Use a salt water rinse Add 1 teaspoon of salt to a glass of warm water. Mix until the salt dissolves completely. Rinse your mouth with this solution. Do this 2 or 3 times a day to reduce pain and another discomfort. 6. Avoid coffee When suffering from pain in the jaw, avoid drinking coffee. The caffeine in coffee increases the tension in the muscles. This, in turn, increases the pain. Reducing or eliminating coffee will help the healing process. You should also try to avoid drinking tea that contains a good amount of caffeine. Switch to decaffeinated drinks.

in this tutorial we will be making a dreamcatcher you can use any size hoop

that you have available with this one I used picture frame wire and I'm not sure

if you can see it in there there's the picture frame wire and it is flexible so

it can take a little bit of a beating here and still hold its shape I have two

other wires here and this is just standard wire that I've wrapped around I

think this may have been another wire that I purchased from Home Depot this is

just regular all-purpose wire that I wrapped around a couple of times the

product I used with this was from Home Depot so it has kind of a shimmery look

to it and it doesn't pull as tight as what yarn or cotton will pull so when we

work with the yarn and the cotton it's going to pull a little bit tighter but

this was kind of a neat effect in how the loops just didn't pull up all tight

if you look right there you can see the knot I had to cut that closed and then I

put some Elmer's glue on it to hold it in place so it wouldn't come apart this

is the yarn I'm going to be using for this project I'm going to attach the

yarn to my crochet hook just wrapping it over like this in this direction and

then I'm going to work single crochet all the way around and this first one

will be challenging but I'm just going to work a random number it does not have

to be exact and I do tend to work mine full hoping that it will cover up most

of the wire but it's alright if it doesn't cover it all up it just adds a

little bit more character to it

and so I'm just working single crochet all the way around the wire putting my

hook underneath the wire working the single crochet and I'm going to move

this up here so when we get up here this part could be a little challenging to

work with and so you just do the best that you can working around the place

where you put your wire together and secure it

now I'm going to go on ahead and finish this up because it will be a little bit

time-consuming and this is just the same stitch all the way around the wire you

will want to make sure that your round of single crochet are not twisted before

you join I am back around to the beginning I'm going to join with the

very first single crochet and I'm putting my hook below the two loops at

the top and stitch wrap the yarn over pull through pull through the loop on

the hook and this is what we have completed and you can see it's not a

perfect circle and so actually if you wanted to bend it into a square or a

heart or a rectangle you can bend your wire into any shape that you want to I'm

going to be skipping anywhere from two to three stitches I'm going to skip two

stitches and work a double crochet chain one a double crochet in the same stitch

chain one double crochet in the same stitch chain one double crochet in the

same stitch chain one double crochet in the same stitch I'm going to skip two

stitches in the third stitch we will be working five double crochet with a chain

one between each stitch that's number one we're working on two chain one

working the third double crochet chain one

for chain one five skip one two stitches and then work a slip stitch skip two

stitches work a double crochet chain one double crochet chain one double crochet

chain one double crochet chain one double crochet chain one this time I'm

going to skip one two three stitches in the fourth work a slip stitch this is

what we have completed I'm going to skip two and then work a double crochet chain

one double crochet chain one double

crochet chain one double crochet chain one double crochet skip one two three

stitches work a slip stitch in the next stitch it's going to be the same thing

all the way around if your stitches start to curl up like that then that

would mean that you need to skip less single crochet so sometimes you can see

I'm skipping three stitches that would mean I would only skip two so this is

one of those projects that is flexible I'm going to go on ahead and finish this

on around because it's the same thing working five double crochet with a chain

one between each double crochet there will be fourteen one spaces I have

completed the last shell I've ended up with eleven and I'm going to work a slip

stitch right down here like this then wrap the yarn over and pull through and

then cut off the yarn then give it a tug and I will sew these in I've threaded my

needle I'm going to take and weave it between

the stitches like this and then cut off the yarn the other one will be sewn in

the same way and I forgot to mention with this one here at the beginning we

do want to make sure that we make a knot here like that and then gone ahead and

then sew the tail between the stitches

and then cut off the yarn I have threaded my needle and pulled through a

long strand of yarn now I'd rather have too much yarn than not enough I'm going

to start by putting my needle right below the wire and then pulling through

I want to make sure this stays in place so I'm going to loop it through with my

crochet hook just to make sure that it doesn't pull through I'm going to move

over a little bit and put my needle below the wire and then pull the yarn

through and it will take a while here because I have a long strand and you can

make your loops as long or as short as you want to make them I'm going to move

over a little bit and then do the same thing and then pull it through just like

that then I'm going to keep going around and my needle is going over the yarn

I'm moving over putting it underneath the wire and pulling it through moving

around putting my needle below the wire

I have room here for one more on this first round of loops I'm at the

beginning and so what I'm going to do is pull my yarn over and then just go right

through the center of this very first loop

I'm going to move over and go beneath this loop the same way and pull it

through and move them over to the next loop putting my needle a little bit on

moving over to the next loop

moving over to the next loop

moving over to the next loop I'm going around and around and it's kind of like

the continual round with crochet since we skipped that very first loop and went

over in the center I'm going through this loop

now going through the center of this loop

and through the center of this loop and you can see it's starting to get smaller

as we go towards the center and this loop

I don't want it coming apart so I'm going to dab some Elmer's glue right on

there this should hold the knot in place

and it will kind of all blend into

now I'm going to take and make a little knot right here at the beginning and

then sew the tail between these stitches like this

and cut off the yarn

spoilers ahead for Star Wars the last Jedi during a Q&A for BAFTA director

Rian Johnson addressed his decision not to explore snoke's past were really

anything about the now deceased former leader of the first order beyond getting

to see him on screen using his force powers a bit more for Johnson it was all

about serving the story and he feels any exposition regarding Snoke wouldn't have

been in service of the story he was trying to tell in the last Jedi in many

ways Rian Johnson isn't wrong Star Wars the last Jedi is already as is the

longest movie in the history of the franchise and with that there's a lot

going on adding an additional thread exploring Snoke any further might have

muddied things up a bit still the movie has proved to be

divisive amongst fans and Snoke is a big sticking point for people having him

killed off with virtually nothing about his character having been explored on

screen did serve to disappoint a large section of the fan base as Rian Johnson

also points out JJ Abrams could still choose to explore Snoke a bit in Star

Wars 9 there's also always an opportunity for a comic book or novel

taking a deep dive on Snoke before he became the supreme leader of the first

order and how he seized control of the galaxy's greatest threat this interview

Black Widow Movie News!!! Black Widow Solo Film Moving Forward With Blacklist Screenwriter - Duration: 3:24.

Marvel Studios has hired Jack Sheaffer to write a script for the Black Widow

solo movie starting back in Iron Man 2 Marvel fans were introduced to Scarlett

Johansson as natasha romanoff also known as Black Widow ever since

that debut and especially after the Avengers and Captain America the Winter

Soldier interest in the character getting a bigger role has only grown

sadly that has yet to be the case for the Marvel Cinematic Universe even if

she has continued to pop up in other films and be a core member of the

Avengers team with people clamoring to see a black widow solo movie one day hit

theaters Marvel Studios has continued to say publicly they were committed to

making such a film that was nearly two years ago and still nothing had

transpired but it looks like that as changing the rap reports Marvel Studios

has hired blacklist screenwriter Jack Schaeffer to pen a script for Black

Widow there is no word on what the studio's vision is for such a solo movie

but this is the best news yet that signals Johansson will indeed get a film

all her own this is not yet official for Marvel Studios however and may not be

for some time but it looks like Black Widow is finally happening despite the

public backing by several key figures in the MCU family black widows status as an

actual future film was still questionable at best before now

Johansson's contract was set to expire after Avengers 4 just like those of the

other original Avengers stars but this move indicates Johansson has signed some

sort of extension to continue playing the former spy by the time Black Widow

hits theaters and barring any surprise cameos this will mark Johansson's 8th

appearance as the character Schafer may not be a recognizable name but her

status as a blacklist screenwriter is big she developed a 2014 blacklist

script for in hathaway and wrote the script for the female remake of dirty

rotten scoundrels called nasty women she also has a connection to Disney already

as she wrote the Olaf centric short that plate in front of Coco even if the short

itself was deemed a nuisance it wasn't at the fault of Shaffers writing with a

writer being attached black widow should be an early candidate for phase form it

will still need a director and go through the rest of development and

pre-production but hitting a 2020 release date is very possible at this

point still this does not mean she makes it out of Avengers 4 alive necessarily

as many have expressed interest in seeing her back in her prime spy days

those details may still be being finalized so we'll have to wait for more

information on where Black Widow will go for now though it's just good to know it

is actually happening Black Widow is reportedly in development

but does not have a release date

Did Google Assistant win CES 2018?

Last year, the only standout products at the Consumer Electronics Show were Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, and all the speakers it would run on.

This year at CES, Google fired back.

"Google definitely has a chance of defeating Amazon here, even if they had a bit of a late start," The Verge's Ashley Carman said on the latest episode of Too Embarrassed to Ask, citing the broad popularity of Alphabet-owned apps.

"Google revoked permission for the [Amazon] Echo Show to display YouTube content and guess what? Those new Google displays that have the assistant are going to be able to play YouTube content.".

Speaking with her Verge colleague Lauren Goode and Recode's Kara Swisher, Carman acknowledged that the biggest hurdle facing the Google Assistant — and the panoply of third-party hardware it will work with — is concern about privacy.

Like Alexa, the Assistant is said to only listen to what you say when you prime it with a phrase, "Hey Google," but it's still a microphone in your home that could listen to everything.

"I don't have any of these smart speakers in my house," Carman said.

"I used to be a cybersecurity reporter, [so] I'm a little bit weird about companies having cameras in my home.

But I also use Google for everything — I use Gmail, I use Google Maps.

Google has this information on us already.

Whereas, if i was using Alexa, this is all a new thing for Amazon.".

On the new podcast, the trio also talked about the unusual rainfall that hit Las Vegas right in the middle of CES, the latest wave of "beauty tech" and the severe shortage of women among CES's keynote speakers.

And Goode reflected on how her opinions about the annual tech trade show — loved by some, loathed by others — have evolved over the years.

"I've been coming to CES for eight years now," Goode said.

"There's kind of a bell curve: When I started, I was really green, and then I hit this peak jaded moment where I was like, 'Nothing here ever ships!'".

"And now I've eased back down into this place where I'm like, 'It's kind of cool that all these people come here and they're so excited to show off all of this stuff,'" Goode added.

"Some of it's weird and it's gadgety and, yes, some of it's never gonna ship — but some of it does.".
