Every year, Google announces in December what the most popular searches were over the past

365 days as a way for us to reflect on the year.

This is a good way for us to look back and see what the major events were and what impacted

the world that year.

So let's take a look at the top 10 most searched things on Google 2017.

Starting off this list in at Number 10 India National Cricket Team.

So in 2017, India ranked first in Test cricket which is the longest form of cricket and it

is considered to the sports highest achievement.

They also came in second in the ODIs and fifth in another competition.

So needless to say, the India national cricket team kicked some major ass last year.

Number 9 brings us to Chester Bennington.

He was the lead singer of the rock band Linkin Park who was sadly found dead in his home

after having committed suicide by hanging.

He was only 41 years old and according to the autopsy, he had traces of alcohol in his

system at the time of his death.

He had a history of depression and previous suicide attempts.

He committed suicide on July 20th and he was found with a leather belt around his neck.

There wasn't a suicide note but police found a handwritten biography in his home.

It was such a devastating day for his friends, family and fans around the world.

Spinning into Number 8 is the Fidget Spinner.

If you guys don't know what a fidget spinner is, what rock have you been living under?

This is a very popular toy that is designed to spin on its axis with almost no effort.

These things became very popular in April 2017 even though a similar toy was invented

back in 1993.

Apparently, this toy has helped people who have trouble focusing or for those who fidget

a lot.

Because of the increase in popularity, fidget spinners were actually banned in many schools

because teachers saw them as a massive distraction.

Number 7 brings us toTom Petty.

Sadly, we have another celebrity death that occurred in 2017.

Tom Petty was an American singer songwriter who was the lead singer of Tom Petty and the

Heartbreakers.

During his career, he sold more than 80 million records worldwide which mad him one of the

best-selling music artists of all time.

Unfortunately, he died at the age of 66 due to cardiac arrest on October 2, 2017.

And now in at Number 6 13 Reasons Why.

This is an insanely popular tv show that airs on Netflix and it revolves around a high school

student Clay Jensen and his friend Hannah Baker.

She committed suicide after she suffered from traumatic events that were brought on by certain

people at her school.

She left a box of cassette tapes that had recordings of Hannah detailing the thirteen

reasons why she ended her life.

Season two is set to be released this year so keep an eye out for that.

Number 5 takes us over to Megan Markle.

If you guys watch suits, then you know that Megan Markle plays Rachel Zane or if you love

to follow the Royal Family, then you know that she recently became engaged to Prince

Harry.

Since her engagement on November 27, 2017, she has announced that she would stop acting

in order to pursue humanitarian work because now she is seen as a future royal figure.

Prince Harry designed the engagement ring himself.

It has diamonds that belonged to his mother Princess Diana, and for that reason, her engagement

ring is considered to be priceless.

Next up in at Number 4 Matt Lauer.

He is an American journalist who was the host of the today show.

However, on November 29, 2017, Matt Lauer was terminated after an unidentified employee

complained that he had engaged in inappropriate sexual behaviour with her which allegedly

started in 2014.

This was a highly publicized case and shortly after he was fired, other reputable news sources

revealed that he was engaged in many other incidents of sexual harassment against multiple

women.

He even released a statement admitting that some of these allegations were true and he

apologized to those women.

Number 3 we have iPhone X.

The iPhone Ten is another creation by Apple that was released on November 3, 2017.

This iPhone made international news because it marks the iPhone's tenth anniversary

with X being the symbol for ten in roman numerals.

This iPhone was supposed to display Apple's vision for future technology.

When it was first released it had a price tag of $999 USD which made it the most expensive

iPhone ever.

Even though this was a highly anticipated phone, it received mixed reviews and to be

honest, I wasn't really interested in buying it either.

iPhone 8 makes it into Number 2.

Yes, that's right, we have another product from Apple on this list.

This generation of iPhone was released on September 22, 2017 but to be honest, it is

very similar to the iphone x.

Apple added a glass back but other than that, a lot of the internal hardware is very similar

to the iPhone x.

A lot of people had mixed reviews about this iPhone as well.

People loved the wireless charging and the new Apple A11 processor but a lot of people

criticized Apple for using the same design over and over again.

Finally in at Number 1 is Hurricane Irma.

This was a catastrophic hurricane and it was the strongest one observed in the Atlantic

since 2005 when Wilma hit.

It was a first category hurricane to strike land and it was followed by Hurricane Maria

two weeks later.

Hurricane Irma was also the most intense Atlantic hurricane to strike the United States since

Katrina in 2005.

Irma caused a widespread and devastating damage throughout its course.

It developed on August 30, 2017 and it quickly escalated into a category five hurricane.

On September 6, Irma reached 185mph winds making it the second most intense tropical

cyclone worldwide.

Irma caused about 66.77 billion dollars in damages and killed about 134 people.

Pixel Launcher - Samsung Galaxy S8 plus (2018- No Root) - Duration: 7:24.

what is up guys my name is Madrid on this video I'm going to show you how to

install the Google picks or two launcher on your Samsung Galaxy S a phone sure

you watch the entire video because I'm going to show you how to fix some of the

errors that you're gonna get during the installation so the first thing we want

to do is down in the description below i have a link that it's going to take you

to the actual 8pk mirror website where you're gonna be able to download the

picture lunch or APK just go ahead and click on that and now this is going to

apply for any pay APK that you download online so i'll just keep that in mind

once you open the site you're actually going to scroll down to the bottom of

the page until you see download APK now there's a new version available you're

gonna get a message right here so you can actually scroll to the bottom of the

page and you can see the different versions since i've been working with

this particular version and that's the one that i installed a couple of weeks

ago and i know it's working well this is what we're gonna use for this this video

so you're gonna go ahead and click on download APK i give it a few seconds

you're gonna have another page that it's gonna download and you should get a

notification down here asking if you want to download it go ahead and click

on download and confirm once the download is completed you can click open

or if you miss that on the top you spring your notification bar down and

click on the download manager you're gonna see the download is completed for

the google android apps' Nexus launcher go ahead and open that up and here you

just give it a few seconds then you're gonna you're gonna have your first issue

here so it's gonna tell you that in order to install the custom apk you're

gonna have to actually go and enable it we're not downloaded this from the

Samsung App Store or the Google Play Store we have to actually click on

enable the unknown sources

once you click ok we have enabled it and it's going to take us back to the

installation so from here you just make sure you have the pixel launcher and on

the bottom right hand side just click on install if everything goes it's expected

it will install but you're gonna have an error because you probably have the

secure folder on and we're gonna cover that in a second so if everything goes

it's expected just click done and we go back to the to the main page main launch

or so so the next thing we want to do is before before we actually open the

launcher we up here to settings and then click on apps we're going to go to the

top right hand side again and click on the fall ops you're gonna have one more

time you're gonna have your default app selection let's click on the home screen

you will have TouchWiz home by default so if we click on pixel launcher we're

gonna set that by default we go back to the home screen and it's gonna crash

right you're gonna get this pixel launcher have stopped and the reason is

because you have to uninstall or disable your secure folder if you don't know

what that is then you probably don't use it so you can go ahead and install it

and anytime you want it you can enable it again let's go back to top right-hand

side we click on the settings scroll down to the actual lock screen and

security settings scroll down a little bit more right under unknown sources

you're gonna have to secure folder we click on that pattern and what we want

to do here is just we want to only install it so here you're gonna click on

more things and on the bottom right-hand on the bottom you click on uninstall

just confirm the uninstall and let it go to the installation once it's complete

you're probably gonna get this option down here we're just going to ask you if

you want to select the launcher you can just click on pixel launcher and it

should work after this if everything went as expected and there you have it

the first thing you're gonna notice is a top right-hand side you're gonna

actually have your little calendar and then you're also going to have a small

notification the weather if you actually present at

once it will open the app itself same goes for the calendar if you want to

change the settings you just hold press on it and you're gonna have the

preference you can enable the calendar events the upcoming flight information

and all the traffic information if you want to get notifications since I don't

really use this I just really just turn this off you're gonna notice that all my

icons are actually gone so I'm gonna have to come back and reconfigure this

just bring all the icons that I usually do is I can just bring them back to the

home homescreen pretty easy to do towards the bottom you're gonna have

your quick launch icons you can actually just the apps you just customized it

would put them in there or just move them around as you desire and towards

the bottom you have the quick search bar from Google search now going into your

app drawer it is pretty similar it's just the icons are going to be smaller

if you want to change the wallpaper this is something else you have to keep in

mind originally it's gonna try to find the wallpapers from actually the google

app and it's not gonna be there so you have to actually go in and install the

app and what you do here is you basically go back to your Google Play

Store search for wallpapers and wallpapers app is gonna be right here

this is made by Google you just install it once installation is complete you

open it and you should see different wallpapers now we go back to the main

page let's go to the wallpapers bottom right-hand side as you can see this time

we don't get the error we get multiple wallpapers to select only thing you have

to keep in mind is that most of these wallpapers are not compatible or at

least they don't work for this phone if I try to select them I'm gonna get an

error saying that it was not able to install it some of them say it will

install with no issues so you just have to play with it at this one just as you

notice you just give me the error I'll go back down to the wallpapers come back

to the Nova wallpapers that I had originally from the previous launcher

this one I can install with no with no issues so overall I have been using this

launcher for about three to four weeks now and I haven't found any issues but

one I guess I have found one issue the only

niche issue that I found is that if I actually hide the notification bar down

here sometimes it's hard to bring it back up so if I open one of the apps for

example and I just scroll up a few times it will not come up so I will have to

basically either turn off the phone not turn up but just I make it go to sleep

or just wait a few seconds until it actually shows other than that it

actually the launcher works great I don't have any issues with the lagging

in fact I think it actually works a little bit smoother compared to the

original stock launcher that it comes with the Samsung Galaxy S a plus so

definitely this is something you can do there's no route required on the phone

something you can install easily and if you don't like you can always just just

is the new Anycubic

i3 Mega Ultrabase

introduces some interesting novelties

first from all ... removed the auto leveling

which is only due to problems and crooked prints

add a glass bed

and ..

use a separate control of Z motors

so .. we have two Z endstop

and two separate drivers on the electronics

these are the 3 things that I would have modified on older version of this printer

we start .. and see the details

her crimes and inability to do the right thing for the country.

We learned that picking a president based almost entirely on a characteristic that hasn't

been in the presidential role before, doesn't make a person a good or capable leader.

The majority of citizens don't have a problem with an African-American in office or a woman,

they just want a qualified person who puts the country and citizens first.

As records have been set in Trump's first year, which is a trend that will continue

through two terms, history could be made in 2024 if and when one of his children takes

office.

We've seen that Trump's presidency has been a family affair as he's involved his

very successful kids in different ways of running the country.

The most prominent involvement of his oldest three children has also been the most controversial,

which could soon become far more of a problem for Trump detractors, namely Hillary Clinton

who could lose the honor of being the first female president to her worst nightmare.

acceptance of her new role — and Ivanka's plans to be the first female president.

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by political writer Michael Wolff hits stores

Jan. 9 but on Wednesday, New York magazine published a juicy preview titled "Donald

Trump Didn't Want to Be President."

The book, published by Henry Holt, is based on more than 200 interviews done over an 18-month

period, from Election Day 2016 to October 2017, with White House senior staff members

who allowed Wolff to assume "something like a semi-permanent seat on a couch in the West

Wing — an idea encouraged by the president himself."

On Election Day, when polls indicated he might win, Wolff paints the president as shell-shocked

and "looked as if he had seen a ghost," while "Melania was in tears — and not

of joy."

Wolff also delved into the relationship between Trump and his former chief strategist Steve

Bannon, "one of the world's most powerful men" who he said took advantage of the administration's

disorganization to push through his personal agenda.

But one of the more surprising revelations concerned Ivanka's political aspirations.

"Balancing risk against reward, both Jared and Ivanka decided to accept roles in the

West Wing over the advice of almost everyone they knew," wrote Wolff.

"It was a joint decision by the couple, and, in some sense, a joint job.

Between themselves, the two had made an earnest deal: If sometime in the future the opportunity

arose, she'd be the one to run for president.

The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be

Ivanka Trump."

Wolff continued, "Bannon, who had coined the term 'Jarvanka' that was now in ever

greater use in the White House, was horrified when the couple's deal was reported to him.

"They didn't say that?" he said.

"Stop.

Oh, come on.

They didn't actually say that?

Please don't tell me that.

Oh my God."

On Wednesday, the White House dismissed the book.

The only thing better than Hillary being beaten out of office by Donald Trump is for his daughter

to win over her as first female president.

Hillary's gender was the only factor she had going for her and a big reason why she

got any votes to begin with.

While she wouldn't probably run against Ivanka since the energy and funds to do so

will run out after she loses again in 2020, if Ivanka were to run and win she would be

silently sticking it to Hillary.

Ivanka's immense involvement in politics and actual move to Washington, D.C. has suggested

her loftier aspirations of a presidential position on the horizon.

As long as she can stay true to conservatism and not go the way of liberalism some are

starting to suggest is her genuine intentions, she could do more for women in America than

any Democrat candidate could dream of.

Couple Out For A Relaxing Boat Ride Accidentally Catch One Of The Rarest Creatures On Earth#emystery - Duration: 7:09.

You never really know what you're going to encounter when you set sail on the open

waters.

Even if you spend every day on a boat, surely something will surprise you.

The marine life that lives just under the surface of the ocean is as fascinating as

it is mysterious.

Bridget Boudreaux and her husband often took their pontoon out onto the Calcasieu Ship

Channel in Louisiana where they lived, and they were used to seeing all sorts of

aquatic life on their journeys over the years.

Not much could surprise them… or so they thought.

On one particular afternoon, Bridget captured something with her camera—and

it both she and her husband in complete shock.

If you love the water, hopping into a boat and setting sail on the ocean is always a

great time.

You never really know what you're going to encounter on your journey.

A couple from Louisiana got a front row seat one sunny afternoon when they ventured out

in their boat.

Bridget Boudreaux and her husband were no strangers to the sea.

They owned a pontoon and frequently took it out onto the open water, specifically the

Calcasieu Ship Channel near their home.

They loved sailing and all the adventure that came with it.

One hot August afternoon, the couple went on an excursion around the channel.

They wanted to get out of the house and enjoy the sun.

Not long into their trip, Bridget spotted an unusual splash in the front of a large

cargo ship they were passing.

When she and her husband got closer to see what it was, they were stunned.

Leaping out of the water in front of the massive cargo ship was a pink dolphin!

Bridget could not believe her eyes.

It wasn't uncommon to see dolphins swimming in the channel, but a pink one was extremely

rare.

Although this was the first time Bridget saw a pink dolphin,

it actually wasn't the first time the animal had been spotted in the water.

The dolphin, named "Pinky" by locals, had been seen sporadically since 2007.

The first person to spot Pinky in the Louisiana channel was a charter boat captain several

years ago.

He was excited when he saw her because he knew how special and rare her coloration was.

Pinky truly made the channel a unique place to sail!

While her husband stared in awe, Bridget noticed something else that left her stunned.

There was actually a second pink dolphin swimming right behind Pinky.

It looked like Pinky had offspring with the same rare coloration!

Unfortunately, the little dolphin disappeared under the surface so fast that Bridget was

unable to snap a photo in time.

There was a scientific explanation for Pinky's unusual coloration; it was actually caused

by a rare gene that causes albinism in dolphins.

Even though Pinky and her offspring were a pink hue, nearly all of the dolphins affected

with the albino gene are completely white.

Eric Hovland, the associate curator at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa, weighed in on Pinky's

unusual look.

He said, "Pinky's albinism is exceptionally rare, but not unheard of".

He was just as fascinated as Bridget was of the sighting.

Even though Pinky was a rosy hue, she was still considered an albino.

If her skin had no pigment to it, where did the pink coloration come from?

That's easy!

Blood vessels and capillaries that were close to the surface of her skin caused the look.

Since 1962, there have only been 14 documented sightings of albino bottlenose dolphins in

the United States, and five of them came from the southeastern

United States.

Pinky was, by far, the most popular of them all.

"Seeing an animal that is extremely light in color is not something we would normally

expect to see," said Kerry Sánchez, the senior rescue biologist of Florida's Clearwater

Marine Aquarium.

"In my full time here, we've never seen an animal that looks like that".

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, albinism affects one out of

every 10,000 mammals.

However, even though there are a handful of albino dolphins out there, not much is known

about them.

Although albinism is also rare in humans, it's nowhere near as rare as with these

aquatic mammals.

Because of this, much of the research involving dolphins with albinism are actually based

on scientific findings in humans.

Albino or not, Louisiana's Calcasieu Ship Channel is a common place to find bottlenose

dolphins, and that makes it a popular place to go boating.

People from all around like to spend warm days watching these beautiful creatures leap

out of the water with grace.

Gabriella Vazquez, a coordinator at Audubon Coastal Wildlife Network,

pointed out that the channel is an ideal place for mother dolphins to teach their offspring

how to forage for food, hence the high concentration of their numbers

there.

The channel also offers dolphins one of their favorite activities: surfing!

When enormous ships pass through, they create huge wakes in front of their vessels.

Dolphins love to swim just out in front of the ships and ride the huge breaking wakes,

and that's exactly what Pinky was doing when Bridget saw her!

You might find this hard to believe, but Pinky is so popular with the people who

frequent the channel that she actually has her own Facebook page!

There, the 3,000 people who follow her chronicle their sightings of Pinky whenever they happen.

Pinky and her offspring were swimming with other dolphins at the time Bridget took her

picture, but those weren't albino at all.

In fact, both of Pinky's parents were the typical

gray color that nearly all bottlenose dolphins are.

Pinky was just a lucky member of her species!

Bridget and her husband sure were lucky to spot Pinky when they did.

Even though Bridget wasn't able to get a picture of both pink dolphins together,

it was an experience neither she nor her husband will ever forget.
