It might seem daunting to take a tech giant like google to court, but A British couple

was forced to after google ruined their business and ended up winning an astonishing 2.1 billion

dollars.

I'm going to tell you everything you need to know, here for you on iO.

Adam ad Shivaun Raff are from Crowthorn Berkshire, and back in 2005, they gave up everything

to start their own business, a lucrative price comparison website called Foundem.

Both of them left their jobs to start this website, which was the top comparison site

in the UK.

The website was designed to reach parts of the internet that google couldn't reach.

This concept was something no one had thought of before, and the Raffs decided to nosedive

into it.

You could look up anything, property, flights, TV sets and then compare the prices and choose

the cheapest option.

But they soon started to notice that something was up.

When they searched Foundem using google, they found that google was demoting their website.

The question was, was the most valuable company in the world, doing this to them on purpose?

The short answer is, yes, it was.

The issue was an algorithm that was designed to root out spam, and target websites with

a quote, lack of original content.

Foundem would rank number one for a search, but then the next second it would be so far

down the page, you wouldn't even see it.

This is extremely problematic when you're a website that relies on google searches.

The couple tried reasoning with google, and sent the legitimate complaints, but achieved

nothing.

Even when Foundem was named the top price comparison website in the UK, Google refused

to respond to the issue with their algorithm.

Adam And Shivaun were forced to sell their software to websites like Bauer and IPC media.

They also found that google was promoting their own price comparison website, and de

ranking its competition.

That's when they decided to take legal action against google.

11 grueling years later, and the Raffs fighting had finally paid off.

The European Commissioner for competition said that google abused it's market dominance,

and she awarded the couple 2.1 billion British pounds.

That's close to 3 billion dollars US, and it's the biggest antitrust penalty ever

given to one company.

Google was also instructed to change their ways within 90 days.

That doesn't mean that Adam and Shivaun are celebrating.

They have lost everything over this lawsuit.

But at least things will change from this point forward for other entrepreneurs.

i think that aliens hide under our school

Hey,it's Sabyyz, today i will tell make another storytime

but this time, a horror one

with something that happend today at school

i was with my classmate

on break and we passed next to a sewer

and he started saying that he hears sounds from the sewer

he took a picture, and this is how it looks

i wasn't expecting it to look human-like

our parents told us that maybe it's a cat or a rat

after that,

while we were walking to "The Tree"

The Tree is a place in our school where we visit Rex(a school-dog)

we saw this.. rock.. strange rock

the outside was rocklike, but the inside had organs in it, and a transparent, non-peeling pelicule that was hard

we couldn't even break it by stepping on it!!

just to move the organs and we got scared

because THE SNAILS ARE NOT LIKE THAT, so it isn't a snail!

we called it "alien egg", let's start with the theories!

my theory(i have seen Stranger Things), my friend recommended it to me

it was like: somewhere deep down .. a paralel universe was waiting for us:(

The series is the best series i have ever seen, Netflix one!

the theory of my classmates was that aliens are under our school waiting to eat us!

another thing that we discovered.. were those proeminent dots on Google Maps(the map of our school)

they are forming a triangle.. so he thought about illuminati, of course!:))

it doesn't actually have something to do.. but it was strange so i decided to tell you too!

i want to make a series with these strange things!

Preposterous Christians - Duration: 6:30.

This morning the Lord spoke to me word that I did not understand "preposterous

Christians". I had to go and determine the meaning of the word "preposterous". I went

on google and this is what I found, among other things:

silly, stupid, completely contrary to reason or common sense, absurd, senseless,

utterly foolish. Preposterous Christians, silly, stupid,

foolis, that is what the Christendom has become. People call themselves Christians

but they have no resemblance of Jesus Christ. They are not like Jesus because

they do not follow Him. They are like the world. The apostle Paul wrote to the

Philippians to be like Jesus. I read from Philippians chapter 2 verse 3: "Do nothing

from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another

as more important than yourselves. Do not merely look out for your own

personal interests but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude

in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus who although He existed in the

form of God did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but He emptied

Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant and being made in the likeness of men.

Being found in appearance as a man He humbled himself by becoming obedient to

the point of death, even death on the cross. For this reason also God highly

exalted Him and bestowed on Him the Name which is above every Name so that at the

Name of Jesus, every knee will bow, of those who are

in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess

that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So then my beloved

just as you have always obeyed not as in my presence, only but now much more in my

absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who is

at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Unless we follow

Jesus Christ, obey Him and become like Him we are only fooling ourselves.

Modern-day Christians follow after the world and the customs of the world. They

are not following after Jesus Christ. Jesus emptied Himself, He did not regard

His status as Son of God something to hold onto.

He emptied Himself of His status of that which He was, and He left the glory of

heaven and He took on the form of a man, that which we are, and not just of a man

but of a bond-servant, of a servant. He came to serve not to be served, and He

submitted himself. He obeyed the Father even to the point of death. He did not

hold on to His sonship, to his status. Modern-day Christians want to be like

the world. They want to excel in the world. They want to compete with the

world and win in worldly matters. There is no desire to be like Jesus. Their desire

is to be worldly, to be rich, to be regarded, to have status in this world,

whereas Jesus Christ is the opposite. Modern-day Christians are preposterous,

they think that they can be of the world and part of the world, and still go to

heaven. They believe that they are saved, but they don't know Jesus Christ. They do

not have the nature of Christ. They do not obey Him. Most of them are not

willing to work for the kingdom of God. They refuse to obey the commands of

Jesus and yet I believe they are saved. What are the saved of? They are in sin.

They are not saved of sin? They are not saved of their worldly desires. They are

as much worldly and even more than those who do not profess to be Christians.

These people are silly, stupid, completely contrary to reason or common sense,

absurd, senseless, utterly foolish, they are preposterous. That is what God calls

them. They will not enter the kingdom of heaven if they do not repent and obey

Jesus Christ. Are we disciples of Jesus Christ that follow and obey Him everyday

or are we also preposterous and on our way to hell? May Jesus bless you.

Jesus Christ is alive and hell is real. I am here to introduce you to Jesus

Christ so that you can know Him and follow Him and have eternal life.

One Easy Way to get More Clients - Duration: 3:51.

Hi!

I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want to talk to you about

a real, easy way to get more clients in your business.

I have a lot of people come to me and say, "I'm slogging it out", "I'm cold-calling",

"I'm networking" and it's not working for me.

Well, here, today, I'm about to tell you the secret that I use in my businesses.

So get your pen and paper ready because I want you to write this one thing down.

And that one thing is, strategic alliances.

Write it down.

Don't forget it.

Now what that is, is partnerships with other people who are dealing with, already, the

people you want to deal with.

Similar demographics.

So if you are dealing with women between twenty and thirty, somebody else who is dealing with

women twenty to thirty would be your strategic alliance.

The second thing I want to talk to you about under this header of strategic alliances is

that you have to build relationships with these people.

When you go to networking functions, you don't go out to find one single, new client.

What you do when you go out to networking functions is you go and look for the strategic

alliances.

People who have already got a database, who have already got clients, who are already

doing amazing things, not necessarily in your industry, but with the people who would be

interested in your service or product.

Build really strong relationships with them because these people will help you find more

clients.

You don't have to go and do it yourself.

If you have a strategic alliance with someone and you want them to share your service or

your product or your event or your coaching services, they will share that out with their

community.

So you don't have to go and meet all of their community, you only need to meet that

one strategic alliance who will share it out into their community for you.

And then you work together, find out what they're doing with their community.

Are they holding events that you could participate in or sponsor or speak at?

What else are they doing?

How are they talking to them?

Are they sending a newsletter?

Are they doing podcasts that you may be able to be interviewed for so their community hears

your story and about your business.

Find a way to work together with them, even if you start something new together that's

never been done before.

So that's my tip for today.

The one thing that you need to get more clients is find strategic alliances.

Don't go and find individual clients, find the strategic alliance who is dealing with

the community that you want to talk to.

Once you do that then secondly, make sure you build a real strong relationship with

them, a long-term relationship with them.

Don't just take, take, take from them.

Build a really genuine, strong relationship with them and then work together.

It will benefit both of you.

Nancy Pelosi probably isn't too happy after waking up to a nasty surprise courtesy of

President Donald Trump.

As it turns out, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had some late plans

last night — and now, the entire country is waiting in suspense to see what happens

next.

There's no love lost between the Democrats and President Donald Trump these days.

For some reason, the left has made their hatred for the man perfectly clear, and they continue

to do so on a daily basis.

Sadly, they're willing to go to whatever low it takes to get the next attack in, and

we're seeing that now more than ever.

In fact, Nancy Pelosi has been suffering backlash, thanks to her own words, after she decided

to attack President Donald Trump over his tax plan.

Despite the fact that he is allowing Americans to keep more of their hard earned money, Pelosi

is trying to minimize his success.

Referring to bonuses ranging between $1,000 and $2,500 as "crumbs," Pelosi has shown

just how out of touch she is with ordinary Americans.

Sure, she's a millionaire that became rich by taking advantage of the same people that

continue to vote her into office, but $1,000 is a lot of money to the average Joe.

That kind of money allows families to loosen the belt.

That's a lot of groceries or many tanks of gas.

Heck, that's even a few car payments or someone's mortgage payment — unless, of

course, you're Nancy Pelosi.

Apparently, this slick Democrat would rather you just not have the money because it's

not enough for her rich butt to acknowledge.

Too bad for her, things just took a nasty turn, and she's eating some crow after waking

up to a brutal surprise this morning.

As it turns out, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was up late last night

and decided to use her time to put Nancy Pelosi in her place, and hard-working Americans are

cheering.

Although she was quiet for most of her weekend with Trump in Florida, Sarah hopped on Twitter

around 8:30 at night Monday.

Sharing a new report, Sarah simply wrote, "Other than Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic

allies, who could be against lower taxes, higher wages, and a booming economy?"

As it turns out, she was referring to a recently released poll showing that public support

for Trump's tax cut is on the rise, despite the best efforts of Democrats.

"The press secretary tweeted a report showing that a majority of Americans approve of the

GOP tax reform, which was signed into law by Trump in December," The Daily Caller

explains.

"The report states that, for the first time, the tax law is popular with a majority of

Americans."

The Republican tax cut law, which once appeared overwhelmingly unpopular, is now supported

by a narrow majority of Americans, according to a Survey Monkey poll published in the NY

Times.

Support is at 51% overall (up from 37% in December), 89% among Republicans and 19% among

Democrats.

Idiots like Nancy Pelosi can call these bonuses "crumbs" all they want, but the American

people can see through her partisan tactics.

An extra $1,000 is a lot of money to a lot of people — and there's plenty getting

twice that or even more.

Each year, politicians get richer while more money is taken out of the pockets of those

who elected them.

Fortunately, that trend has been put on hold, at least for a brief moment.

The fact that anyone has anything bad to say about that says more about them than it does

President Donald Trump.
