The 'Punky Brewster' When The Challenger Space Shuttle Exploded - Duration: 5:50.

(gentle music)

- [Narrator] Brandon's unwinding

with a little National Puppy Radio

while Punky's bed blogging.

A couple weeks back some shit went down.

All the way down.

Henry suggested she blog about it to feel better.

- What made me so sad

was that the space shuttle blew up.

- [Narrator] This better be one hell of a blog, folks.

It all started with some extremely cute dog magic.

Punky loves magic, she made her parents disappear.

Her next trick?

Slobbery slight of hand to ease viewers into this hellscape.

Punky says tomorrow's career day.

It's gonna be fuckin' sick, bruh.

Henry says this is a perfect time for a present

he's been waiting to give her orphan ass.

It's a camera.

A really old camera.

- It's the first camera I ever used.

- It looks like the first camera anybody ever used.

(audience laughs)

- [Narrator] Ah, the joys of adopting a child

just so she can roast you.

Punky's not interested in prehistoric Instagram.

And Henry can put that nice camera

all the way inside his butt

because she already knows what she wants

to be when she grows up.

But first

more dog magic.

Brandon wants to show Henry his new trick.

Henry reluctantly agrees to see a dog attempt magic.

I mean obviously this ain't gonna happen.

(audience laughing)

- That's amazing!

Good boy.

- [Narrator] Yo, that is not the appropriate response level

when a motherfucking dog

does motherfucking magic,

like not even close.

Career day's popping off.

Ballerinas and clowns and doctors, oh my!

Freddy wants to be Batman before he got a real costume.

Allan brought a gun to school,

when he grows up he wants to be the future.

Margeaux wants to be the prize lady on a game show.

But does she have what it takes?

(kids laugh)

- Peasants!

- [Narrator] A star is born.

And Punky wants to go to Coachella with her dog.

But since they don't let dogs in to Coachella,

she'll settle for being an astronaut.

She wants to discover new planets

where she also has no parents.

And Brandon wants to be the first hound

to chew his ass on Mars.

Now all the kids wanna be astronauts.

Because they're dumb and Job Halloween

is a giant waste of time.

Mike says this is the best week to get stoked on space.

The Challenger shuttle's launching with a teacher on board.

- I'm gonna bring my television

and we can all watch the launch together,

would you like that?

- [Kids] Yeah!

- [Narrator] I've got a great feeling about this.

I've got a bad feeling about this.

- We were watching the space shuttle take off and--

- Yes?

(somber music)

- It exploded.

- [Narrator] Henry wonders if perhaps an antique camera

might dry those tears.

- The shuttle exploded?

Are you sure?

- [Narrator] The fuck kind of question is that Henry?

He tries to see for himself, but Punky says please, no.

She hates re-runs.

Punky says the class counted down to launch and cheered.

Then stopped cheering 73 seconds later.

- All of a sudden, there was a big flash,

and smoke went in all directions.

- Yes?

- [Narrator] For a professional photographer,

Henry sure is taking a while to get the picture.

Punky says Mike turned it off and everyone started to cry.

Then they said a prayer for the astronauts

and also the TV writers who will be asked

to tackle this tomorrow.

Punky demands answers.

Why?

Henry says sometimes bad things happen to good people.

So those astronauts must've been

some really,

really good people.

Mike's reviewing for their tragedy midterm on the floor,

because lately it seems like the further you get

from the ground the more likely it is you'll explode.

- I kept hoping they'd go to a commercial,

when they came back, the astronauts would be saved by Mr. T.

- [Narrator] I pity the fool who has to raise Allan.

Punky thinks they were brave.

Mike agrees and tells the class

they should all be proud of these courageous explorers.

Allan's dad says this is gonna be the end of NASA.

Mike tells Allan his dad's an alcoholic.

Margeaux bets the next time they ask a teacher

to go to space, they'll say no.

Mike says he'd do it in a second

because she wildly overestimates the quality of life

for a public educator in America.

These traumatized youths no longer want to be astronauts.

Then they gang up on Punky for still wanting to go to space.

Because it's not bad enough she watched her heroes

burn to death in the sky on live television,

now she's getting clowned on for having dreams.

Meanwhile a palate-cleansing B-story

about Henry helping Betty with a dress.

One small who cares for man,

one giant oh my god who cares for mankind.

Knock knock, Houston, we have a cameo.

- Betty Johnson, meet Buzz Aldrin.

- [Narrator] Betty is thrilled to meet Buzz.

And wants to know if those YouTube documentaries

about aliens and shit are for real,

right after she grabs Punky.

Mike says Buzz was in town for a lecture

and he told him all about Punky.

And Buzz dropped everything to cheer up this emo orphan.

Buzz said he heard Punky wants to be an astronaut

but now her friends think she's cray cray.

Growing up, a lot of kids called Buzz cray cray, too,

but he showed all those stupid assholes.

Buzz says astronauts are explorers.

And explorers are often labeled loony.

Like Columbus when people thought the earth was flat.

Or the visionary who first milked a cow and drank it.

You know that guy caught some heat out of the gate.

Buzz gives Punky a Young Astronaut shirt.

She can wear it to let bullies know

she loves math and science

to streamline their locker shoving selection process.

Brandon wants to be a young astronaut, too.

Because he's not giving up on his dreams

of zero gravity lipstick licks.

Punky concludes her blog saying,

meeting Buzz Aldrin was all kinds of tits.

And a little shuttle moping will not stand

in the way of her plan to blast off on all her haters.

So what did we learn today?

Be careful what you wish for.

Because if you wish to one day be an astronaut,

you might see a spaceship explode

before the next commercial break.

And the world is a scary place where sometimes,

good people explode for no discernible reason.

But you can't let that or a room

full of indecisive peers stop you from your goals.

And if you're doing an episode about horrific tragedy,

lead with dog magic,

throw some costume kids in the middle,

and close with an old guy wearing a dress.

And there's nothing, and I mean nothing,

that can't be fixed with a free t-shirt.

See you next time on A very special episode.

HOW TO CHANGE DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE ON ANY IOS DEVICE! - Duration: 2:09.

What's up everyone, my name is Ben and today I'll be talking about and showing you, how

you can change the default search engine on any iOS device.

The whole process is really simple, but of course, it's a little different for every

single browser.

Today I'll be showing you how to change the default search engine on three different browsers.

So the default Safari, Firefox and of course the most popular Google Chrome.

This process is really easy, it doesn't take a long time and without a further ado let's

jump straight in.

So if you're using Safari, this is probably the easiest process out of all of them.

What you want to do is open up settings, go to Safari, go to select the search engine

and basically select your preferred search engine, whether that's Google, Bing, Yahoo,

DuckDuckGo or any of the other available search engines.

If you're using Firefox on your iOS device, the whole process is really easy as well.

What you want to do is open up Firefox, click the three line menu in the bottom right-hand

corner, go to search and you'll find that Google is pre-selected.

If you want to change it, maybe to let's say Bing or Yahoo, just click one of them and

select them or enter the name of the search engine manually, click ok and that's about

it, you have successfully changed the default search engine on Firefox.

And finally, if you're using Google Chrome, this process is also incredibly easy.

What you want to do is open up Google Chrome on your iOS device, click the three-dot menu

button in the top right hand corner, what you want to do then is click settings, search

engine and select the search engine that you prefer, the default will be Google, but you

can easily change that to Yahoo, Bing or whatever you prefer.

So that's about it for the video, I really hope this video helped you out, if it did,

please drop this video a like rating down below, comment down below if you want me to

make another video for maybe some other web browsers and I'll see you all, next time.

My Notion Set-up | August 2018 - Duration: 17:37.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video it is

Francesco here. Welcome to the Keep Productive YouTube channel if you're brand new

This channel is dedicated to helping you find in the most suitable productivity software for you

So if you're brand new here, feel free to hit subscribe

So today's video is going to be dedicated to looking into notion again

Specifically I wanted to share with you my Notion set-up

Will be doing more setup videos very soon with a lot of your guys actual input and we're going to be launching a community

setup board which will allow you to essentially share your setups and some of them will be featured on the

YouTube playlist as well as a blog and

Go into a bit more detail

Anyway, let's dive into this one. It's been four months since I lasted a Notion video sort of Notion video

I mean notion set up video and I do think my Notion account has changed quite dramatically to some extent

I've had a lot of inspiration from the interview I had with David Pierce back in June

I although I only got released on August 1st

if you haven't watch it yet included in the YouTube cards a lot of inspiration from his set up because

His set up focused a lot around this sort of panel viewing a lot more personal items as well as this

theory of an inbox

and what I want to do today is

Literally show you the majority of my Notion account

So here we are and this is notion as you can see id

Have it in dark mode

so you can access that mode by actually going in the top left-hand corner on the Mac and dark mode is

Accessible here now since dark modes been released. I've pretty much had it on dark mode every day

I actually haven't worked come to do an eye on it on iOS yet, but I am extremely impressed

It is a really well-rounded experience

It actually makes the application feel totally different so you can see here then I've kept my regular homepage

I already changed this that much

Um, it still got a lovely home icon and you can see I've put a blue background on Welcome Back Francesco

That's also a quote. So it appears quite nicely when I land on my page

Now we've got these three core areas in box, which I'll speak about in moment goals and priorities

So the concept behind in box was really stolen from David Pierce. I

Went back in June. He showed me it and I did see it in his

his actual

Wws je piece. I was very impressed. I like the concept of it. So let's have a look inside of inbox

This is the sort of stuff. I'm posting in here

So previously I had an area called articles which I actually need to filter into this

And so that's a an inbox item in itself

So what I'll do now and this is causing a lot of debate. It's like Francesco

why are you putting your articles to read or your clippings inside of notion and

necessarily not inside of Evernote or a dedicated reading application and what I mean by that is a

link collector like pocket or instapaper and my reasoning behind it is mainly due to

Two things I'd say it's this bookmark

Look to it. I mean, I know that obviously the reader applications have this bookmark look to it

But it just looks so good a notion that when I come in here

I'm like, I want to read some of these pieces and it's really easy to dump links

So for example when I'm about to add a new link, I'll just add it here

Some go wrong sometimes and that's mainly because they're PDFs

But if I want to what I do is a press slash and then I type in the bookmark or in most cases

It's X that and then I'm able to quickly add in a piece

So it's really easy to do and of course I can leave that there if I want to in case I want to add new

bookmarks as the template you can go a lot more detailed and the second reason is because as you can see here it

embeds quite high-quality videos that are posted on Vimeo or YouTube

So for example if I'm like, okay, let me clear my inbox

Inside of notion and I have a few videos like this one from ran on the flux channel

Then I can watch this one here, you know inside of an ocean without actually leaving it

So yes, I have packed mine ocean account full of them and I do need to process it

but if I'm honest it is really

a great place to store articles for me

I've also used a previously still tweets as well because sometimes those threads

Had some really good pieces there so you can see my sort of concept pineap-- and I will be using notion as my inbox

Continuously and what I mean by inbox is generally clipping pieces, so that's my reason behind that

I think it's a fair reason to some extent just below it on have an era called goals goals

I've been using a lot more obviously, I won't be I'll be blowing out a lot of this

But you can see here then this is my goals account

So I have a nice little quote and that's my sort of quote there. I can just say you live and you learn

and then I have to

linking bookmarks to

Shortcuts actually which you can create inside of notion a link to a page

it's called for boxing and the mortgage because there's some goals at the moment and focusing on lock on the fitness side and

Saving a deposit amount for a mortgage and on this left-hand panel

What I've essentially done is I've created 20 18 milestones

and the main reason I've done that is they're not calendar based events, but they're like things that are

Things I'm looking forward to socially so for example, I had I had a when I standard it back in April

I obviously had the stag do I had wedding honeymoon my birthday?

Cyprus our car renewal which is apparently something to look forward to

London trip and this weekend

I'm off to Chester Zoo and in the week after I'm off to Barcelona and the week after off the Bristol and then we've got

a Jurassic Park

event as well, which is gonna be quite fun like a concert thing and

Hopefully she won't watch this we're gonna have a secret trip to bath in October fingers crossed

So it's quite a nice little sort of timeline coming up and also

2019 I've got a list of a few of the Provisional dates that we're going to be sort of planning out

So it's it's I don't know why I did it really if I'm honest. I found it quite good

so what what I have now is these goals area inside of my notion which I'm actually gonna do a separate video on because it's

Probably a little more intricate

I obviously have been plodding around a lot for a while

So now I do strictly three months I used to do six months

but this is three month view of my next activities is a board inside of notion and it

Includes consist of 10 to 15 goals monthly that I want to achieve on certain projects or activities

A lot of them are based personally. Some are based clients stuff like that and down here I have targets

So these are definitive targets and they range from finance YouTube

Podcasts my personal savings and how much tax I've paid backs

so it's almost like statistics then I need to aim for and my reasoning behind keeping this really to two months is

Due to the fact that I used to do six months and then like every two months or three months. I've really had to completely

Replan everything because I had either

Under delivered on my targets or over delivered

So I keep this two to three months mainly because I like to keep fresh and obviously

I don't know where I'm gonna be in three months. So that's really why the reason I'm sort of slimmed it down

Now going back to this. You're probably wondering

Oh, you're probably wondering what is priorities area?

Now priorities is being recently a project that I've been working on

I used to do this quite heavily on a Thursday evening or Friday morning

I'd get out a a four bit of paper and I'd plan in my weeks priorities and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday

Friday and then I put in there maybe three or four most important things and I need to focus on now

I'm sort of plotting out in here not it's like a fixed thing

But so for example, it's almost like they get deleted in a week. So for example these ones

Will just get deleted and then when I come to do my next feature

I'll be there jumping in there and sort of fixing it. So that's the main reasoning

I'm doing like and using priorities inside of this is mainly to plot out week priorities

So it's not really a hideously used section excused once a week and it's more for a holistic overview of the week ahead

If that makes sense, so you can see here that I now have obviously a slightly diverted homepage

I've got a lot more pages and as you can see I've got an image

So let me explain so we've put a now listening section

With below it the audio book that I'm listening to at the moment now. I'm actually not reading this one

I've actually stopped reading this one because I got half his room was like okay, I get the idea and

I think I've read a lot of the pieces in articles

So obviously need to change that one, but it's a simple image that I've put there with a subtitle

um and the reason why I wanted to put my

Audiobook there now is because it gives me a bit of clarity like in my day. I'm like, I

Open up notion in the morning or I open up to look at the Inbox

For some articles and I'm like when I'm arrived there. I'm like, okay. I am reading that book

I need to make sure I read 15 minutes of it today or listen to 15 minutes, which is practically cheating on it

So you can understand my sort of

Process through there just almost like a pinned image to some extent. No on this right hand side

I've gone to personal which is my reading so let me just take you into reading again

I had this actually a couple of months before

I Anand David Pierce actually did the feature. So this is all the books. I'm reading at the moment and some of the recommendations

I'm getting in and a lot of these are ones that people have recommended to me

So I'm slowly adding to that and that's just a simple board

With a couple of labels that have the author's names on them too, which just makes it stand out

I've also got an area for mortgage. So that's just like an outline of all of our sort of

Upcoming mortgage savings and things like there. We don't share that necessarily with each other min

Me and my wife Becca and the same with the car. We also have savings too, but this is more for me

Just to plot out or one month savings are and the goals to the two month savings

So it's it's like a nice area for me and I see it really is just two simple

Blocks and inside of here. I've actually got

Two more pages a checklist on how I can save money across my week. So for example reducing coffee shop trips

You know going to less places where taxis are needed

Buying brand items in the shop or I don't know doing small things to save money, and I also have a tab

Or coffee shops, which I've only recently started up and my main reason behind it is to tally

And I'm gonna be kicking off again how much I spend in that coffee shop for the day

just to guilt myself into making sure that I don't necessarily visit that much and sort of reduce spending because

Like that's just something small that I noticed in my routine now

to the sort of exciting part

I've talked I did a separate video on how I manage clients inside of notions or include that one in the cards now

So you guys can go and enjoy that one but below I have that one

I have YouTube now YouTube is a really simple area

It doesn't really have a hideous amount in it's got my medium schedule thumbnails for Deanna who we work with

kool abs

discounts and any links to pages so it's not really got anything like

tangible in there and the same with the podcast

I have the schedule that we used although me and Alice now have a schedule inside of here, which I can show you

of all of the people that

We've done podcast with this is actually something Alice design from scratch. So all kudos to her on this

This is just me being linked to it. She's very well coordination. She previously did this an air table

Although I shouldn't mention that because she probably doesn't want Carlton air

So here we go

the title and the guest and in the actual season

and we also have a status on that one too and a release date as well as a link and the

Details, so that's how we do the sort of podcast. I have an interview layout here too. So you can actually see all of that

And what we actually ask the guests so it's again

It's really just a sort of static place and the same with Skillshare

I have another other area now and I'm just need to move. Oh, I don't need to do that control-z

I have we have another area. So another area is really for a lot of stuff

So it's literally range from like mock-ups and I need for YouTube

To the Facebook group to branding to the book writing

to check lists to

marriage name change checklists

Literally everything and then we finalize with website and answer

I was trying to move that one up which is very similar to the YouTube pages

So these are just pages within pages and they would only make sense to me

But they helped me keep organized inside of some of the activities. I'm doing now. We use our the command P

I don't know what it is for your device

But it will be a lot I use a command P to search a lot of the items to be able to find stuff

So for example if I'm like, okay, I need to search for

ID not pretty sure like our upcoming articles like how to spice up your remote working routine. I can find it really really quickly now

Here's the sort of non-magical section. I have a pin note sections now, which I should really probably include up here

But you can see I've got travel which is an upcoming travel trip

And the reason why I did that is because I want to be able to find

Barcelona very fast and I can see all of the details here of

The PDFs and everything and I've actually shared that one my family, too

So hopefully that Travel section grows as I get to travel. I also have a boxing

Outline so I have my goal and my months goals

So what I really need to be aiming for per month and also a mini calendar of the log of what I've done so far

so actually yesterday I need to add that I did a little bit of boxing and

Also, I did a run on Monday so that's a small little log but it just helps me to keep

Sort of outline. You've got some notes down here too for my diet

And what I should generally be eating

And also a checklists and assessments and old records and stuff like that

So it's almost like a backlog to not too many details in there. Just more like

projects and activities

So you can see here. This is my notion experience

It has been going very well

I have and I feel a credit to notion because they have helped me to organize a lot of stuff and it's almost

almost replaced

Most of my Evernote usage at least not much of my trailer usage because I'm still using Trello as a video calendar

I'm not sure. I know why because it's

It's hard to explain like I like the visual explanation of Trello

I like the fix States and I can invite community members into it to be a bit more interactive

And I use it for a lot of client work. So Trello is not going anywhere right now

just a note on the iOS version the iOS version are I find to be very easy to use is very similar to the

Diversion I thought and I have two problems with it. A lot of people will be saying the apps are actually slow

I'm on the Mac version the majority of the time or the web version so I won't get that much experience from it

But as you can see the youngest version is slightly slower and this might be down to two reasons because they are

Obviously porting the experience to iOS it's not necessarily a native app again. I'm not the web developer

And number two it's because I have an iPhone 6 plus which is like free of three years out of date

So it might just be slow because of the processor there so

Two reasons there. But anyway guys, hopefully this gave you a nice outline of how you can use notion

And how maybe that sort of can go about and let me know in the comments

How would your user notion be great to hear obviously, we'll be doing some setup videos soon so you can share that

As you can imagine I've got a course on Skillshare, which guides you through notion it

So if you're a first time in like francesco, I actually enjoy the way you set it up

How do I get there? You'll find that guide but there and it will take you pretty much to that point or

Even the previous version that I had but close enough that you can be able to add all the details

Anyway, guys, I really appreciate you stopping by here today
