Let's look at what God says I say a fifty five eight nine for my thoughts
are not your thoughts nor my waist nor your ways my ways says the Lord for as
the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than yours and my
thoughts are higher amen and again I praise him for that I praise
him for that because my thoughts can just make it this much you know I can
only you know get to this level but my God who knows all things right who knows
all things he knows the beginning and the end he knows you on how you're gonna
finish so don't if you stumble here and there in this life of ours and this is
impossible Christian life of ours the moment that you let go of God and
you make yourself Lord again and you stumble don't stay too long in that
state I say too long because there's a good time there's a good thing of
staying there because you're gonna think oh my gosh why did I do this
again there is a good part in that but get up get up because God has seen the
finished you amen God has seen the finished you because he
has done everything for you and I so there's no point to stay there realize
what brought you there think about what brought you there and
most of the time it is because you made yourself Lord again you took the rain of
your life again but again he says here my thoughts are not your thoughts so
again I say I don't even cry out Lord this is not fair
Who am I to know what fair is in God's eyes because I will never think because
the fact the mere fact that he chose a few that he created it doesn't make him
unfair I don't I don't see that way because I see a lot of people that could
care less about God I see a lot of people saying that they believe in God
but they truly don't in the so my trust and my reliance is on the true God who
knows everything so I trust that God so I trust all his decisions for me you
know divine election should bring forth
humility it should humble us and make us bring us to praise Him in first
Corinthians 1:26 31 brothers and sisters think of what you were when you were
called not many of you were wise by human standards not many were
influential not many were of noble birth but God chose the foolish things of the
world to shame the wise God chose the weak things of the world to shame the
strong right yeah I agree with this I look at myself I'm like oh yeah this is
my first God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things in
the things that are not to nullify the things there are so that no one may
boast before him so that no one may boast before him because God opposes the
proud but gives grace to the humble opposing means against right the
opposing team it's me they're not playing with you they're playing against
you so if you are proud if you think your good works will take you to heaven
that you're not it's such a bad person anyway guess what God is against you but
God God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble that's what I see
there it is because so that no one may boast for me it is because of him that
you are in Christ Jesus again it is because of him it is because of God that
you are in Christ Jesus because of the divine election who has become for us
wisdom from God that is our righteousness holiness and redemption
that's Christ Jesus therefore I said it's written let the one who boasts
boast in the Lord amen if you are going to boast about your
Christian life you boast about God because it was him who did it for you
right it was him who chose you before the foundations of the world it was him
in him alone there's no boasting about you in your
decision oh yeah you know it was really smart anyway so about time I knew I was
gonna make that decision sooner or later know here next one he also chose us for
his pleasure again going back to Galatians 1:15 and part of the 16 says
there called me by His grace was placed in officience one five to six having
predestined us to adoption see having predestined us to adoption a sense of by
Jesus Christ himself according to the good pleasure of his will
it was his pleasure to have chosen us before everything that God has made was
this for was for his pleasure the bees the butterflies right
he wasn't lonely that's why he created us but he created us so it's for his
pleasure right and then we see here that it was having
predestined us to him to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to himself
according to the good pleasure of his will to the praise of the glory of His
grace by which he made us accepted in the beloved it was all God and again
we're still talking the divine talking about the doctrine of divine election or
the question if it's been predetermined then why share my sarcastic believer
right it's probably me well god I already knew who's gonna accept him so
why do I have to share right well let me ask you do you know who God
chose no you don't know who God chose remember in Deuteronomy 29:29 right for
the things that were revealed to us was for us and the ones that are in secret
is for the Lord so you don't know who God chose all you know is God told us to
go right told he told us to go so here's the answer
Galatians 1:16 Paul again saying so that I might preach him among the Gentiles
all right God chose Paul before in his before he
was in his mother's womb God chose us before the foundations of the world what
so that we will preach him and now acts 13:48
this is paul and barnabas after they preach the gospel to the Jews the Jews
rejected them and now they said now when the day they went to the Gentiles right
they went out of the synagogue and they went to the Gentiles and now when the
Gentiles heard this they were glad and glorified the word of the Lord and as
many has been appointed appointed appointed to eternal life the ones that
were appointed God brought there and then Paul and Barnabas obeyed the
calling to share the gospel in the ones that were called by God heard it and
finally made that decision there is the same thing with us we don't know who
God's chosen people are other than ourselves
once you accept Christ as your Lord you're one of his chosen ones and your
responsibility is to preach to share that good news to them second
Thessalonians 2:13 this is where we're gonna end and they're like price
Jesus name I pray listen they were praying ha finally I'm hungry they said
2nd Thessalonians 2:13 but we are bound to give thanks to God always for you
this is Paul speaking to the believers in Thessalonica he said bow but we are
bound to give thanks to God always for you why because God knew about the
divine election that it is God who has chosen this people to accept him as
their Lord that's why Paul was always thinking God I thank God I am bound to
thank God for you that's why when when somebody accepts Christ you were like
praise God we thank God for that because it was God who chose that was
God chose rimmel it was either chose Alesha it was God who chose Atalaya it
was God who chose that I do say and Cris it was God who chose us that's why we
said praise God for you so God always for you brethren beloved
by the Lord because God from the beginning shows you for salvation
imagine that amen God deserves and I look at this God deserves what God
deserves all our praise and their gratitude and our praise and their
gratitude should move us into a life of one of obedience right because he chose
us he chose us he did choose and then you know if somebody who who would have
died who who died already and never made that decision and you're thinking man it
was a better person than I am but I and I'll ever be anything without Christ
because it was God's decision because God from the beginning chose you for
salvation through sanctification by this spirit and belief in the truth see it's
this Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit reveals the truth in the person before they pray
to receive Christ it's the Holy Spirit because it's a spirit of truth he
reveals it to you because I've heard the gospel
many times before I made that decision back in 2001 to accept him I've heard
the gospel many times before that but I could care less for it it didn't make
sense to me it did not make the same impact to me then I then it did back in
2001 so that's why it's the Holy Spirit it's a Holy Spirit that reveals it it's
the Holy Spirit that that quickens you because you're a dead spirit dead spirit
there's a dead body do anything no no right it stinks right how dead body
doesn't do anything right so there's a dead spirit apart from Christ were all
dead spirits but the Holy Spirit is one that quickened you and made your life so
that you will understand spiritual things especially about that to accept
Lord the Lord as your Savior to which he called you by our gospel you see to
which he called you he called God called the the Christians there through the
gospel that Paul and his team shared to them for obtaining of the glory of our
Lord Jesus Christ therefore brethren stand fast and hold the traditions which
you were taught whether by word or our episode believers knowing that it was
ultimately God who called us should develop a great deal of gratitude and
humility in every single one of us hear the question if a despair is you're
making God to your level God respects your free will but make no mistake about
it God already knew what you were gonna do even before you did it
so as we understand as we have read these scriptures as we've seen
that we are God's chosen ones as we are humbled by that and then it's and we are
grateful for that we need to now in return out of that must sprout a life of
obedience to glorify Him with our lives amen
now don't go walk around walking around tomorrow thinking who are the chosen
ones here you will never know who the chosen ones are of your unbelieving
friends and family just know that you being the chosen one you are to share to
the dying world of the gift that you have

father I pray for wisdom for all of us Lord God as we walk out of this this
place toward God news we've heard something if it's new for some of us
Lord I pray for wisdom help us Lord completely understand it
might not be tonight but Lord just give us that the understanding that we need
to just stand firm with you I know that you are good and you are wise your
all-knowing and you love us your merciful your gracious and Lord for the
fact that you have chosen us out of the many we are grateful Lord God we thank
you for we will never know why you picked us or you chose us but we will
forever be grateful may we live our lives Lord glorifying you and you
breathe into every word that you have instructed us to do forgive us sir for
now many times that we failed you but again Lord we thank you for your grace
and your mercy that is new every morning in Jesus name we pray amen
