Hey Everyone it's Rob with Rob finds treasure and we've got another box of
nickels we're still on that hunt for the 39 d and the 50 d as well as some other
mint coins to upgrade in my album I'll be showing my album here pretty shortly
not quite yet I'm wait until I get the 39 d in the 50 d to show it off but in
the meantime we're gonna open this box I say we're gonna open it it's already
opened so that being said we're ready to rock and roll in it see what we find
praying for some goodies all right guys we're on roll six and I just put this
1955 Denver Mint under the microscope and you tell me maybe I'm seeing things
but in 1955 there is a D over S re-punched mint mark where they had an s
and they read punched a D over it in all the lighting I can look at it looks like
that that might be an S right there I can't tell I could be wrong maybe it
could be a play on the damage but that's certainly looking like there was a mint
mark there who knows I'm gonna pull it aside just wanted your guys's thoughts
you can see it's a 1955 for sure and you can see it's a D and even with the naked
eye which is why I looked it looks a little fishy on that mint mark sure
appears as though there's something there and under certain lighting like
that it looks like there's definitely a D over s anyway we're gonna pull it
aside for now would love to hear your thoughts I've checked it under the
microscope I've checked it under the loop I can't make for certain and it
doesn't look exactly like some of the pictures suggested of a deal dress but
it has some of the characteristics anyway let's get back to the hunt very
next roll guys roll number 7 and we spilled it out and this one's looking
pretty green to me
1945 1945 Denver beautiful silver already in the box including two 50s a
54 D and a 55 D possible D over S that's a good start
what's this right behind it looks pretty old to the 1959 Philadelphia all right
you know what I have you here you got two good ones in the roll let's just do
a quick search see if something stands out 63 knew it looks a little old 64 I
don't think anything else is in there let me finish this roll and we'll get on
to the next all right guys roll number 12 is gonna yield us a 40s nickel here
1940 toasty on the back isn't it like it was stuck to something
Wow it's a denver though 40d we're on roll 16 guys and we've got
another one of those gold toned coins
this one's a gold toned 2017 d not even that greatest shape but it's gold toned
you can see the color next to a regular bun it's not as dark as I've seen them
but we'll take it roll 17 guys and we've got a first for
me and nickels look at this it's a kronor coin one crone from the Norges
Bank yeah it's a Norwegian krone 1998 you know they started issuing these in
the late 90s like 96 or 97 so this is one of the first couple years for sure
it's a nickel basically one Krone worth five cents
give or take I will take it I've never found one of these kind and
we'll add it to the cool finds section first foreign is a dandy in my opinion
we're on roll 22 guys and we've got a 40s nickel here 1941 Philadelphia and it
looks like there's another oldie maybe right here another 41 Philadelphia and
as I look over we've got a 39 we've got a 39 guys can it be the 39 d it can't be
but you know what it's a 30s nickel and it's a 39 we'll
take it well 25 guys got another 40s coin here 1941 I think that's an S for
San Francisco it is we will take it forth from the 40s well and the silver
roll 26 got a 1946 Philadelphia roll 27 found another 40s coin as I was
going through these looks like it's a 41
it is Philadelphia roll 28 the 40s continuing it might have another older
coin behind it we'll check that in a second another 1946 philadelphia just
stuck to that one it's a philadelphia no matter what it it's another 46 roll
35 guys and check it out we've got a 38 nickel here let's see if it's a 38 s or
something really key it is a 1938 s sorry guys had to put the phone
down and check the red book on that 4.1 million minted it's one of the key dates
38 s not in bad condition not in great though we'll take it it's another early
Jefferson unbelievable and it's a key date roll 38 look what we got
it's another 39 is it the D but it's another 30s nickel
roll 45 guys got another 40s coin right here 1941 Philadelphia rule 49 the box
is not done yet 1941 Philadelphia same roll guys and we've got a toasty buffalo
that I saw creeping up on me holy moly that's bad you can't even see
what it says it might have a mint mark down there though let me wipe it clean
and see if just by wiping it I can see anything alright guys I've wiped it down
you're not gonna see anything but you don't need to see the date on this
nickel for one specific reason look at that raised mound so we know
it's a 1913 type one or variant one variation one with the raised mound you
can almost make out the word five cents there you can kind of see it I don't
know if it has a mint mark I don't think it does the more I look at it the more I
don't see one and in the lighting it just disappears so it's almost better
off to the side as you can see you can just make out the five cents there so I
know it's a type one I don't know if it's a Philadelphia a
Denver or San Francisco but I think I don't see a midmark there could be one
there it's trash condition I'm tempted to go ahead and Nic a date it anyway
because this is not even good for good for you need at least a legible date and
legible mint mark you can't see it at all
so even if it was a type 1 1913 s-mint man it's really worth nothing more than
a few bucks so nikka dating it won't really do much more damage to it alright
I'll quit looking at it I was just debating in my mind guess what though a
buffalo in the box roll 50 guys looks like it's gonna send
me some parting gifts here I saw a 40s coin in front nineteen forty
Philadelphia and I think that one's pretty old too that's at 53 hopefully
it's the D and it is that's a good coin well I got you here we'll just take one
more peek see if there's anything else worth mentioning I don't think so no
there's not I'll get you a wrap up in a second
alright guys another box down another box hunted here's the finds four 2009's a
Norwegian one Krone we got 13 in the 50s and I'll run through them couple of 52s
couple of fifty threes couple of 54s and a 55 56 a beat-up 57 probably toss it back
to 58 and to 59 in the 40s we got 11 we got a couple of 40s and look at this one
two three four or five six forty ones a couple of, um 3 46 --is we also got a 38 s
and a couple of thirty-nine ps can't find that 39 d top it off with a 45
D war nickel goodfind as well and a 1913
type 1 philadelphia mint buffalo nickel solid box a lot of fun I mean 24 27
early Jeffersons 28 including the silver plus a 29th find in the buffalo a 30th
34 finds in this box if you enjoy the hunt with me please good a thumbs up and
