who had this great idea to create a music show

that was indicative of the culture that he grew up with.

It's a period piece that follows Don's journey.

The ups and the downs that he goes through learning

how to be a businessman,

and creating a show that took place in the '70s,

and also the evolution of society as it existed.

We have protests, we have shootings,

we have politics, we have all those elements

that were implemented in society at that time,

and very impactful for Black people at that time.

And all of that's going on. As Soul Train's growing,

so is society becoming more aware of us

as a people, as a culture.

You see Don even interact with a level of racism

and bigotry and having to overcome that.

That's also the sign of the times

that's going on in our society as people are voting.

The wars that are happening, getting drafted,

and all those things are playing a part

as another parallel backdrop to the goal

of getting Soul Train on the air.

What I love about American Soul is that you have many layers.

You have stories that are interwoven

and all connected somehow to Don Cornelius.

Our dream is to sing and become famous.

Well, what if we were famous first?

What's a "Soul Train"?

It's a dance show.

The great thing about being on American Soul, everything.

However, the music, it's like eargasm city.

It takes us back to a glorious era of energized,

empowered, soulful music.

People are gonna really be surprised

at not just the entertainment factor,

but the star power that this is packing.

And then, the new stars that are gonna be born

as a result of this show. My children are stars.

Katlyn and Jelani, who play Simone and Kendall,

those kids really sing. Those kids really dance.

I've had a lot of fun just playing with them

creatively behind the scenes and in between takes,

and Oh my God, Katlyn gets on the piano

and she closes her eyes and she plays and she sings

and she takes you somewhere.

On American Soul, I am directing the third

and fourth episodes of the series.

It's well-written, the casting is amazing,

and I have come in to add my touch as a director.

It's important to tell a story like this

because people had no idea of the struggle it took

to get this show on the air and keep the show on the air.

It's one part the journey of an entrepreneur,

but it's really the journey of a Black man in America,

and all the turmoil that comes

with trying to achieve something great.

You losing the human perm over there

means you lose your music train?

-Soul Train. -Whatever.

He's my top ten act.

I lose him, I lose syndication. A whole lot of money.

American Soul, man, is so much more than just Soul Train.

The central story is Don Cornelius and Soul Train,

which definitely needs to be told.

The way Devon Greggory has developed this show,

he's painted this whole world

that really encompasses America in the '70s.

There's a storyline for you to grab on to, I guarantee it.

When people watch this series,

they get a glimpse inside a visionary.

A man from Chicago, where I'm from,

take on one of the biggest obstacles in the world,

show business, and win.

Square's New CFO – What Does it Mean for Investors? - Duration: 5:24.

Jason Moser: Matt, there was some news that came out late last week that seemed relatively

relevant to our universe here.

It looks like Square has a new CFO in town, Ms. Amrita Ahuja, who is currently the CFO

of video game developer Blizzard Entertainment.

Yes, that's Blizzard of Activision Blizzard.

She's going to be coming in and taking over the reins there at Square.

After reading a little bit about her work history and a nice little Twitter thread she

had out there regarding her family and how they came to the country, I feel really good

about this hire. What do you think?

Matt Frankel: It seems like they got the right person for the job.

Like I've said before, Sarah Friar left some pretty big shoes to fill over there.

Having said that, I like what Jack Dorsey had to say about how entrepreneurial she is

and how she's going to focus just on the CFO role.

Sarah Friar was a dual focus.

She did a lot of the CFO role and a lot of the PR work for the company.

Pretty much everything we know about the company's future plans to get into banking, and to be

the one-stop-personal-finance-shop, we know from Sarah Friar's speeches and discussions

and things like that.

He says she's going to be a little more focused on the job, which I think is a very good thing

from an investor's perspective.

It definitely seems, a lot of parallels between her old job and new job.

I think it's a good hire.

I think the stock does not deserve to be down 30% from when Sarah Friar announced that she was leaving.

Even though Square has popped in the last few days, I don't think the pop was a direct

result of the announcement, I think it was more because the market was going crazy higher on Friday.

But I think they have the right person for the job.

Only time will tell, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Investors hate uncertainty, and this removed a big chunk of that uncertainty.

I'll leave it with that. Moser: That's a good point.

We weren't sure how long this was going to go on.

But given that Jack Dorsey at both Twitter and Square, he said his primary role as CEO

of both companies is to make sure that he's getting the appropriate talent in the appropriate positions.

That's encouraging.

You look at Ms. Ahuja's work history, she had stints at Fox Network Group,

at Disney and Morgan Stanley after receiving degrees from Duke and Harvard Business School.

So, yeah, I'd say she seems pretty qualified.

Frankel: Yeah. This definitely seems like a good person to have at the top of their list.

I can easily see why Jack Dorsey went ahead and pulled the trigger and brought her on the team.

Moser: It's probably a little bit of a different stage for Square at this point in its life.

For a while, Sarah Friar needed to be out there front and center, creating that public

image and helping to nurture that public image of Square, so that consumers and merchants

and restaurateurs all understood more about what Square does and the value proposition

that they're offering to all of their different customers.

Perhaps today, there's more public awareness, more understanding as to what the company does,

to where Ms. Ahuja can go in there and focus more on the numbers and making sure

that the company is allocating its investments appropriately.

It reminds me, perhaps, of when Ruth Porat took over at Alphabet.

She was able to go in there and focus a little bit more on the numbers and make sure that

they were running a smartly led operation there.

Maybe that'll be something that Ms. Ahuja has the chance to do here, as well.

I don't know how public a face she will be, but I would recommend anyone who wants to

learn a little bit more about her, you can go to Twitter and actually see the thread

that she tweeted out shortly after this news was announced.

She gives a little bit of her story, her parents' story, and, as you mentioned, the entrepreneurial

spirit of her and her parents.

I think that gives a little bit more understanding as to why we like that hire.

Certainly, it seems like she would be somewhat empathetic to not only the company, but its customers,

as well, and that can only be a good thing.

Frankel: Definitely.

I like your point about how they don't really need that public face as much anymore.

When I first started writing about Square and first invested in it a few years ago,

I used to have to use the first hundred or so words of every article about them explaining

who the company was.

"You know, the ones that make the little card readers you see sticking out of people's iPhones?"

Now that's no longer necessary.

You don't really need someone to tell you where the company's going constantly,

who they are, what they do.

I like that they're consolidating this role down to a more traditional CFO role.

That's a big positive in my mind. Moser: Good news for your One To Watch for 2019.

We'll keep following it and wish them the best of luck.

I'm sure we'll learn a little bit more when earnings season comes around.

15-20 RED CHILIES

15-20 KASHMIRI RED CHILI

WE HAVE TO SOAK THEM THEN BOIL THEM

SO THAT THE CHILIES TURN SOFT

1 TBSP. GINGER

FINELY CHOPPED

3 TBSP. GARLIC FINELY CHOPPED

1 TBSP. VINEGAR

1 TBSP. TOMATO KETCHUP

NOW WE WILL BOIL THE CHILIES 5 - 10 MINUTES

AND WE WILL DIP IT USING SPOON SO ALL THE CHILIES ARE EQUALLY BOILED

FLAME WILL BE LOW AT THE MOMENT

WE WILL COVER IT

AFTER 5 - 10 MINS WHEN THE CHILIES ARE COLD ENOUGH

THEN WE WILL GRIND IT

AS SOON AS THE COLOUR IS CHANGED WE WILL START ADDING THE OTHER INGREDIENTS

GINGER GARLIC COLOUR HAS CHANGED NOW WE CAN MOVE FUTHER

NOW I M GOING TO ADD THE PASTE WHICH I PREPARED

WE HAVE TO GRIND THE CHILIES AND MAKE A PASTE LIKE THIS

FOX TV - YouTube removes far-Right adverts about Britain First - Duration: 2:47.

YouTube has removed adverts for far-right group Britain First after clips promoting the organisation appeared before videos on the site

The adverts were taken out after the video-sharing platform was contacted about the clips, which had appeared before content linked to Brexit and British politics

 The video showed Britain First leader Paul Golding and supporters confronting volunteers at a Muslim outreach stall last November in Nuneaton, Warwickshire

 YouTube, which was contacted about the adverts by the Guardian, said they were removed for breaching its rules which prohibit ads promoting hatred or intolerance

A spokesman for Google, which owns YouTube, said: 'YouTube does not allow ads or videosthat promote hatred, intolerance or discrimination on the platform

It is the Queen of England's official palace, which contains the priceless crown jewels

and is protected by the beefeaters. It is also the most complete

example 11th century fortress Palace still remaining in Europe today this

This Medieval fortress was built by William the Conqueror in 1066 as a demonstration

of Norman power and strategically placed at a bend in the River Thames, to act

as both fortress and the entrance to the capital, as well as the gateway to the

new Norman kingdom. The Tower of London has become one of the symbols of royalty and

has been the setting for key historical events in European history, including the

execution of three English queens. Three of them executed on Tower Green, Anne Boleyn,

Catherine Howard and Jane Grey. With only one, the fourth English queen, Elizabeth I

escaping this terrible fate.The tower helped shape history with its many

rulers. And with the reformation in England with both catholic and

protestant prisoners, Tower of London was defined as a place of torture and

execution with a display of spiked heads at Traitors Gate.

Dwarfed by the modern skyscrapers of London's skyline, the palace was the tallest structure and towered

over everything else at the time it was built. However, the Tower of London is still one

of the biggest things to see. So, make sure to plan at least 3 to 4 hours, to

ensure you don't miss anything, of this amazing page in history.

Now let's talk about how to get to there. We will have more details and maps in the free pdf, but

Tower of London is located right at Tower Hill

and next to Tower Bridge just 2 and a half miles downstream from Parliament and

Big Ben. Tower Hill Underground station runs both the Circle and District Lines.

There is also Tower Hill Bus stop and from Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross

station area, you can catch the number 15 bus. This is one of our favorites.

This runs both new and the classic double decker buses. Make sure to ride up

top because there is plenty to see along the way. You have the Royal Courts of

Justice. See if you can spot the secret doorway into Fleet Street. There is also

St Paul's Cathedral and the Royal Bank of London before arriving at your destination, Tower Hill.

Now, let's talk about getting into the Tower of London.

The gate price starts at £26.80 for adults and £12.70 for children. They do

have other pricing on their website including donations. But when visiting

London the best value for your budget is using the London Pass, which to name just

a few, does include the Tower of London, Tower Bridge

and also included and for you urban hikers, within a half a mile is the

Monument that commemorates the Great Fire of 1666. The structure stands 202 feet with

a 311 step circular staircase up the inside leaving you a panoramic view at

the top, if you want to try this out before heading to the Tower of London.

The London Pass is flexible in purchasing from 1 to 10 days depending

on how long you are visiting and gets you entrance to over 80 of the most popular

tourist attractions. This includes a fast track pass, discounts on dining and

shows and can include unlimited travel around London, which is another great way

to save on money. There is also the Royal Historic Palaces, if you are going to be

in and around London and this is an annual pass for the year.
