Seeing Infinity cry and talk about

how everyone gives up on her, I could not look her in her eye

and be another one of those people.

Speaking to her attorney,

It's just a huge, huge burden off of my shoulders.

I feel amazing right now.

I was so scared, like this isn't going to happen.

From previous experience, I've experienced people

taking on challenges and not following through.

I don't want things to get tough and for you to just give up.

Because any day you could just throw me back into the system.

You need to feel like you can trust me.

I need to feel like I can trust you.

But I do expect you to be open and to be honest.

Right.

You know, there are going to be some rules,

there're going to be some regulations you have to follow.

There're going to be times when I'm going to have to tell you,

"I want you here at this time. I don't want you to wear that."

If you finish eating don't put your bowl in the sink

and think I'm wash your bowl. Because you do that.

You eat cereal and you leave the bowl on the table.

All right.

I shouldn't have to tell you about cleaning your room.

I am so happy that Infinity's going to be here with us,

but she's going to have rules and responsibilities.

But give me a hug. I'm so glad that the day worked out.

So first question is this, when is the best

time to do a garage sale?

I believe yard sales have no season.

Plan it for the weekend and pay attention

to the weather forecast.

So if there's going to be rain on Saturday,

make Sunday your rain day.

All right.

So now that I know my time, the question is,

how do I organize all my stuff?

I think it pays to really display

your things with attention.

It will net you some more coin.

You want to put things out on a table,

for example, make things look more valuable.

What you don't want to do is throw stuff

into a cardboard box and ask your customers

to rummage through that.

What about pricing stuff.

I've always had a problem in knowing exactly what prices

to give these items.

Well, you know, I actually recommend that you

don't price your items.

A yard sale's all about serendipity, right?

So somebody might come and fall in love with something of yours

and think that it's worth a lot more than you think it's worth.

True.

So let them make you an offer.

And the most important question is, how then do you attract

customers to your yard sale?

Well, you have to advertise, of course, you know.

And it may sound really old-fashioned,

but running an ad in your local newspaper

isn't such a bad idea.

Lots of them will let you do it for free.

Still works?

Still works.

And social media, tell all of your friends

that you're selling your prized possessions

and tell them to tell their friends and share it.

Hey, look at this.

Isn't this ugly?

It's so ugly.

Who would buy that?

I sure wouldn't.

Now that you have your customers here,

how do you get them to shop more?

Be a friendly presence.

Chat up your customers.

Give them a reason to get to know you

and the neighbors, right?

Another good idea is to offer refreshments, you know,

some cookies and lemonade maybe.

I think you just have to be open to the possibilities.

For sellers, the best advice I can give is, don't be greedy.

Especially toward the end of your sale,

maybe that is the time to slash prices.

The last thing you want is to have

to haul all this stuff back into your basement.

Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.

The freezing morning warmed up by the afternoon.

Tomorrow's is looking milder,... with a lot of the highs in the southern region reaching

into the teens under sunnier skies than today.

Beijing and Tokyo will be warm too.

The morning in Seoul will begin at minus 3 degrees Celsius, while Busan and Jeju start

above freezing,... at 1 and 6 degrees respectively.

Temperature readings will all be above the seasonal average into the afternoon.

But there's a possiblity that fine dust levels will rise again because of a southwesterly

wind.

There won't be much change to the weather this week.

But make sure to keep in mind the dryness because it'll stay sunny and windy.

S. Korean government to invest US$ 26.6 mil. in developing fine dust management technology for.. - Duration: 0:39.

The South Korean government is pushing for the development of technologies to tackle

fine dust in schools.

The Ministry of Education along with the science Ministry will invest around 26-point-6 million

U.S. dollars over the next five years developing a heat and air management system, and an air

quality diagnosis and improvement counseling system for schools.

Part of the investment will also go to finding the causes and characteristics of fine dust

and how it affects students' health.

With this plan, the government hopes to make a school-tailored air quality management system

that helps improve air quality to the WHO's recommended standards.

Former Supreme Court chief justice will be summoned for arrest warrant review on Wed. - Duration: 0:49.

The Seoul Central District Court said it will summon former Supreme Court chief justice

Yang Sung-tae on Wednesday.

The announcement comes as the court is reviewing the prosecution's request of an arrest warrant

for the former chief justice.

Yang is accused of over 40 criminal charges such as utilizing trials as bargaining chips

in dealings with the previous Park Geun-hye administration to achieve his long-envisioned

plan of establishing a separate court of appeals.

The most serious allegation against him is deliberately delaying proceedings on two damage

suits filed by Korean victims against Japanese companies that forced them into labor during

World War II.

Yang is also accused of creating a blacklist of judges based on their political leanings.

The court's decision will be known by Wednesday night or Thursday.

Former top secretaries appointed as President Moon's special advisers on UAE and Iraq - Duration: 0:50.

President Moon Jae-in named a couple of his former top secretaries as special diplomatic

advisors.

Cheongwadae announced this afternoon that Im Jong-seok, the president's former chief

of staff, as special advisor for the United Arab Emirates.

He established a special relationship with Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince when visiting the

UAE as Moon's special envoy in late 2017.

The top office expressed confidence Im will continue to reinforce that bilateral relationship.

The former top secretary for political affairs, Han Byeong-do, was appointed as the President's

new special adviser on Iraq.

The Cheongwadae spokesperson said Han has been chairman of a South Korea-Iraq Friendship

Foundation since 2009 and is an expert on Iraqi culture.

Im and Han stepped down from their original posts a couple weeks ago.

झणझणीत तरीवाली पुणेरी मिसळ - Puneri Misal Recipe In Marathi - Maharashtrian Misal Pav - Sonali - Duration: 4:34.

We already saw how to make Kolhapuri Misal.

Today we will see one more type of Misal.

That is Puneri Misal.

So let's start, I have kept pan to heat.

Pan is heated now.

To that add oil, 2 to 3 tablespoon.

Oil is heated now.

To that let's add 1/2 a teaspoon of mustard seeds.

Once the mustard seeds splutter add 1/2 a teaspoon of Cumin seeds.

I will add curry leaves now.

You have to add 6 to 7 curry leaves, it is fine if you add more too.

But it gives a very nice flavour.

Next, add asafoetida.

Now let's add some onions.

These are finely chopped onions and I have use 2 onions.

Mix it.

Now to this I am going to add this green masala.

In this I have taken 2 chillies.

Around 6 to 7 garlic pods.

And 1 inch piece of ginger.

And 1/4 cup coriander leaves.

Ground them finely and add some water to it.

So I will add this masala into onions.

We have to fry this masala nicely into the oil.

So that the rawness of garlic goes away.

Now to this we will add 1 finely chopped tomato.

Mix this well again.

And sauté it till this tomato gets cooked.

Now let's add all the spices to it.

1/2 spoon of turmeric.

1 spoon of red chilli powder.

To this I will add Goda masala, it is easily available in market.

And if you want to make this at home then there is link available in the description box below.

So that way you can make it.

I will add this goda masala, around 2 to 3 tablespoon.

Mix it again.

Now let's add some salt, you can add as per your taste.

Mix it.

Now to this let's add 1 cup of Bean sprouts, these are Moth bean sprouts.

Mix it.

4 to 5 cups of water.

Once it come to a boil, cover it and let it cook.

It has come to a boil now I will cover it.

And let it cook for around 10 to 15 minutes.

15 minutes are up, let's see if our Moth bean sprouts are cooked.

It got crushed between the fingers easily.

Which means it is cooked.

So now let's turn of the flame and plate it.

In Puneri Misal this dry potato curry is added.

This is our normal dry potato curry.

In which we add curry leaves and chillies to tempering and temper it.

We also add some turmeric to it.

This is the same type of potato.

And we don't add any savoury snack to it we add sev chivda (Indian snack).

It basically have more sev.

It has some boondi and some very little savoury snack.

And some peanuts.

So now let's serve this.

The serving method of this is little different.

I will show you.

First add Moth bean sprouts on this.

Now add sev chivda.

And now gravy.

Some onion.

And some coriander leaves.

Here is our Puneri misal ready.

If you want some sourness to it then you can add some tamarind water.

Or you can also squeeze a lemon on it.

You have to eat this with pav.

China posts lowest growth level in 28 years at 6.6% for 2018 - Duration: 1:43.

Official figures show China's growth rate fell to a near three-decade low in 2018.

This is mainly due to business activies lagging amid trade tensions with Washington.

However, Beijing remains optimistic about its economy.

Kim Ji-yeon zooms in on the discrepancy.

Preliminary data from China's National Bureau of Statistics released on Monday... show that

the growth rate of the world's second-largest economy expanded by 6-point-6-percent last

year... the lowest level since 1990.

China's fourth quarter gross domestic product grew 6-point-4-percent... the slowest pace

since the 2008 global financial crisis.

Although the Chinese economy is facing a downward pressure... the statistics agency says the

growth rate has remained steady overall... pointing to a near 6-percent on-year increase

in industrial output, while retail sales soared by more than eight-percent in December compared

to a year earlier.

"Initial calculations show that the annual GDP was around 90-trillion Chinese yuan.

According to comparable prices, Chinese economy grew by 6-point-6-percent over the previous

year and has achieved the expected growth goal of around 6-point-5-percent."

The agency added China's trade dispute with the U.S. has affected the growth rate but

added the impact was "manageable".

It says Beijing was already trying to manage a slowdown under its new economic model, ... even

before the trade row with Washington, by focusing more on high-tech, high-productivity and shifting

away from resource extraction and low-wage manufacturing activities.

The sports industry is expected to be a major growth engine in the 4th industrial revolution,

and the government has established a medium-and-long-term plan for the industry to drive the country's

future economic growth.

South Korea aims to drive economic growth with a new sports industry development plan.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on Monday a five-year development

plan for the sports industry to actively respond to the changing technological environment

and establish its own growth engine.

The domestic sports industry is expected to grow to nearly 9 billion U.S. dollars by 2023.

The Ministry laid out various plans and projects to help foster this growth.

First, it plans to support technology development in the sports market, such as the use of smartphones,

to foster the public's participation and viewing service in the sports arena.

It also said it will create a big data platform linking the health and sports industries,

for example by collecting data on people's physical health and ability in order to foster

the country's healthcare market.

In addition, after positive feedback, it will expand its school 'Visual Sports Room' project

to include public sports facilities.

The project helps people in remote areas to enjoy sports through state of the art VR technology.

The ministry also aims to focus its attention on the growth of sports-related companies

over the next five years.

It plans to expand its support for the entire period of a company's growth, especially for

startups and small firms, in order for them to grow into global companies.

And of course, through the support, the Ministry also aims to establish new jobs amid the sluggish

employment situation in the country.

Pres. Moon says peace will bring economic benefits for S. Korea - Duration: 2:07.

President Moon Jae-in spoke about the hotly anticipated second Pyeongyang-Washington summit.

The South Korean leader called it a chance to bring peace to the Peninsula,... and an

event that could determine the fate of the Korean people as a nation.

Shin Se-min shares with us his remarks.

With the next big summit meeting between North Korea and the U.S. slated to take place near

the end of next month, though still with no location announced,...

President Moon Jae-in this Monday,... made a statement on that high-stakes summit.

Chairing the weekly meeting with his senior aides,...

President Moon sounded hopeful about the summit and its success,... and said it's an opportunity

that will never come again.

"Even if we don't know what will come out the summit, one thing we know for sure is

that the geopolitical circumstances surrounding the Korean Peninsula are changing quickly.

This is the first such opportunity in 65 years, since the armistice in 1953, and it won't

come again.

It is imperative that we keep this chance alive."

It's the first comment from President Moon himself since the official announcement of

the second Kim-Trump summit,... and while there may be doubts on whether the talks will

work out til the end,... the president said it's the role of the South Korean people to

make sure they eventually do.

The South Korean leader added that Koreans are not mere spectators but the force that

has driven developments on the Korean Peninsula up until this point -- and said this is more

urgent to Korea than to any other country in the world.

The president said that with the support of the Korean people,... the government will

bring about a corresponding foundation on which peace can bring economic benefits.

In the past several days, developments have picked up pace.

North Korea's top negotiator visited Washington to meet with President Trump and Secretary

of State Pompeo,... and the two sides are still holding separate working-level talks

in Sweden.

Trade ministry and KITA discuss support for local firms amid slowing export growth - Duration: 2:07.

Multiple economic institutions forecast the nation's export growth will slow down in 2019,

mainly because of the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China.

During the first three weeks of January outbound shipments dropped by almost 15 percent on-year.

To tackle this issue, the Seoul's trade minister met with trade-related organizations.

Our Ko Roon-hee has the highlights from that session.

The latest figures released by Korea Customs Service on Monday paint a grim picture for

the nation's export growth for this year.

Exports in the first 20 days of January dropped by 14-point-6 percent compared to the same

period last year.

The agency attributed the fall to a decrease in exports of semiconductors and petroleum

products.

Semiconductors, which account for around 20 percent of overall exports,... dropped by

almost 30 percent.

Analysts have been pointing to lower demand and a fall in memory chip prices.

This is mainly due to a decrease in investment in data centers, which had been the main driver

of the price rally.

In terms of export destinations, shipments to China dropped by more than 22 percent during

the same period,... and one possibility is that the trade war between the world's biggest

economies is having a chilling effect in Korea.

To turn things around, Korea's trade ministry and the Korea International Trade Association

met on Monday to discuss ways to support local exporters.

Trade Minister Sung Yun-mo sat down with trade-related organizations and company representatives...

and promised to hold these meetings every quarter... to listen to their difficulties.

Some measures discussed include... expanding support for trade insurance provided by Korea

Trade Insurance Corporation.

Minister Sung said... the government will continuously work with the private sector

to deal with uncertainties coming from the slowdown in global trade growth and in the

semiconductor market and the drop in international oil prices.

He added that businesses should also participate in those effort... by coming up with new export

products and destinations.
