And there's something that you may don't know Or you want to know more about the game!
For examples, you have to know that the game is based on "Real Events"

From town named "Jonestown" and "Waco Siege"
"Heaven's gate" and more
"Jonestown" was a town founded by "Rev. Jim Jones"
Who also founded "Peoples Temple"
A cult which is the basis for "Outlast 2"
James Warren "Jim" Jones
Born in 1978
Cult leader of "Peoples Temple"
American communist
Ordained as a Disciples of "Christ pastor"
In 1978, media reports of human rights abuses in "Peoples Temple's Jonestown" surfaced!
Democratic Congressman "Leo Ryan" led an investigation into the commune and was murdered while boarding a return flight with defectors!
"Jones" subsequently committed a mass murder-suicide of 918 of his followers in "Jonestown, Guyana"!
Nearly 300 children were murdered
This historical episode gave rise to the ubiquitous American-English expression "drinking the Kool-Aid"
"Jones" was born in "Indiana"!
Was influenced by "Communism" as a child
And started the "People's Temple" in "Indiana" 1950s!
He later moved the "Temple" to "California" in the mid-1960s!
And gained notoriety with its activities in "San Francisco" in the early 1970s
The man is a murderer!
And the game take place after the events of "Outlast's Mount Massive Asylum Slaughter"
Which means that the game will take place between 2013, 2016!
That cult presented in the game under their real name "Testament of the New Ezekiel"
Founded by "Sullivan Knoth" in "New Mexico"
As he founded a secluded village in the "Arizona Canyon" which he named "Temple's Gate"
The "Testament of the New Ezekiel"
Is an antagonistic cult led by "Sullivan Knoth" that appears in the game!
In the game, as "Blake" and "Lynn" investigate the murder of a "Jane Doe"

They're led to the "Canyons of Northern Arizona"
And due to the location's inaccessibility by road vehicles
The two take a chopper which ends up crashing in a narrow ravine due to unspecified complications!
"Blake" wakes up some time after, only to discover that "Lynn"'s missing
"Langermann" soon realizes that he's been stranded in a village that's inhabited by a cult who believe that the end of times are upon them!
The biblical "Ezekiel" was a Hebrew prophet of the 6th century BCE who was exiled to "Babylon" in 587 BCE!
"Outlast 2" will feature new cast of characters and none of first game's are returning!
But characters from both games may be featured in comics!
For "Jane Doe" Investigation's
With an unknown identity was fleeing from those maniacs which sought to kill her and more importantly her baby
<i>We can see during the demo the pile of dead children's bodies arranged to resemble a cross</i>
Why would she commit suicide while being sheltered in the hospital?
And did she gave birth to a child at all?
And perhaps the cult murders children because they see them as abominations
All of that you will discover in the game more and more!
Another thing you need to know
"Lynn" will most likely be tortured or killed
"Red Barrels" are over the top with their violence
And so we might get to see her being subjected to torture, both her and Blake
What's for sure, is someone tortured or dead, have to be!
