Subtle. That's how we describe the changes

to the all-new 2018 Subaru XV

Subtle but they're there

Upfront you got sharper headlights and a new grille

both blacked out which is signature to the model

and you've also got less chrome all around

Down the side you got stronger character lines

you've got a shark's fin antenna up on top

and new rims all around which resemble a

ninja star

Bigger LED taillights can be found at the back

and you'll notice if you use the boot a lot

is that the opening is now 4 inches wider which is a great thing

'cause coupled with a no lip rear bed

it makes lifting and putting heavier stuff in a breeze

However the space is a little short for us

See, you've got 310 liters of space back here

of course you can have more when you put the seats down

But, for the size of the automobile, you kinda expect a bit more

Inside the XV, you're greeted by an all black interior

with orange stitching which can be found all around the cabin

it really gives the car a very upmarket feel

Save one, this gearshift used to be wrapped in leather

and now it's plastic. Sure, it looks like a piece of onyx but

Yeah, not cool

Bring back the leather, kill a cow

New on the XV, X-Mode

Found on the bigger Forester it controls the engine

transmission, symmetrical all-wheel drive, brakes

and other components to safely navigate

through some challenging road conditions and varying terrain

At the center of your instrument cluster you'll find your trip computer

Up on top at the tip of the dashboard you'll find your car system screen

Now, both can be controlled from the steering wheel

What you won't miss is this massive

8-Inch touchscreen infotainment system

which has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

This thing is huge. It's like Tesla size

Okay maybe not but you get the idea

What the boot space lacks, yeah the rear seats make up for it

and then some it is very roomy in here, surprising too

You could fit 3 taller than average sized Filipinos back here

However, bigger bodies mean more heat

which might be a problem 'cause there are no air vents back here

and plus, the third passenger might have to

compromise for the tunnel in the center

As well as the seatbelt that's position in the back

and then its gotta go through this hook and then it locks in here

Kinda odd

But hey, if it's just adults upfront and kids at the at the back

No problem whatsoever

The biggest change on the XV is that it now sits on

Subaru's all new Global Platform

which was first seen on the Impreza

A main focus on this platform is safety

where Subaru claims get this, a 70 to 100% stiffer body structure

and 40% better at absorbing impacts

That's pretty impressive

Thanks to Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive

the first thing that you'll notice when you get inside the car

and step on the gas ever so slightly is that the car

wants to take off, like immediately

it doesn't sit down, it just wants to go

Now, once it does get going the 2L boxer engine and the CVT

well, it's a little bit on the gentle side really

even with the paddle shifters

you'd expect a little more pull and 'oomf'

from something that's well has got the looks and goods

for an active lifestyle

The steering however and the handling. That's just awesome

See, this generation's center of gravity is 5mm lower

than the previous model

which makes it, oh that much better

It may not seem like it from the outside

But the XV gives great driver visibility

thanks largely to these quarter windows upfront

normally side mirrors but here in this case it's windows

it like doubles your peripheral vision which is absolutely great

Speaking of side mirrors, the blind spot monitors

might take some getting used to

See, because of the cross traffic in the Philippines

and the way that we drive in such close proximity

they're always going off which can be annoying at times

Thankfully though, you can turn the system off

However, that might be a waste of technology

it would be better if well, they put that money elsewhere like

a power tailgate, or even better speed-sensing door locks

I mean come on

Not too common a sight on the road

it's easy to understand why people stand by their XV

220mm of ground clearance paired with the

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and off-road capabilities

All available at P1,538,000 for the 2.0i-S

its not the greatest thing out there, but its not bad

not bad at all

Review - Lego Creator: VW Mini Beetle (40252) - Duration: 2:35.

Hey everyone!

JAYSTEPHER with VW Mini Beetle

by Lego Creator.

Set number 40252.

Contains 141 pieces.

Recommended building ages are eight an up.

Looks like one awesome Mini Beetle.

I'm hoping the graphics are printed.

I doubt it,

but we shall see.

Nice colorful box art.

The box is easy to open.

That was packed nice.

Well it does have a set of print work.

The parts are not printed.

There are two bags of bricks

and a set of instructions.

It looks like a fun build.

Let's see what it looks like after it has been assembled.

The VW Mini Beetle is a nice little car.

Honestly it required a lot of stickers

for such a small build.

There's suppose to be a sticker

on the front and rear license plates

as well as the side windows

and the surfboard.

I like the rack on top

the hold the surfboard and an ice chest.

It's not scaled for minifigures,

and there is no access into the interior.

It does roll smooth on a flat surface.

Nice simple build.

This is the VW Mini Beetle by Lego Creator.

Set number 40252.

Thank you for watching!

Alpen 2017 - Col de la Bonette - direction South from Jausiers - Duration: 16:39.

The most impressive of all !!! the Col de la Bonette

QUITE a lot to the left; coincidence ?

Makes it quite hard to overtake for my mate following me. I don't think this is any coincidence any more :-(

One of these many cagers "thinking large" :-(

I ride into the comfort zone of a biker, he's objecting

Sorry, man ! (didn't want to make him feel uneasy ...)

At my second well-meant sorry, the biker waves back with an "OK, not thát bad, thumbs up" gesture

looking error ?

a little testosteron-moment ?

at the top it's quite a lot cooler than down there ...

Two Koreas on road to dialogue as 2018 Pyeongchang Games approaches - Duration: 15:06.

And to tell us more about what we can expect from Seoul and Washington from here on out

in regards to the North's participation in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics as well as

future talks involving the two sides,...

Woo Jung-yeop, research fellow at the Sejong Institute joins us in the studio today.

Good to be here.

1- So as we just heard in the report... a lot came out of that meeting... so let's take

a step back a little and talk more about what the two Koreas discussed during their first

face-to-face meeting in more than

two years.

2- Then what can we expect from the military talks that the two sides agreed to hold to

ease the current military tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

3- So yes, the two sides agreed to hold talks and Tuesday's meeting is seen as a diplomatic

breakthrough for the two Koreas... but some say it's not all harmony.... because North

Korea has broken its promises before especially the ones regarding reunions and other humanitarian

issues.

4- North Korea also made a rather 'strong complaint' after South Korea proposed talks

to denuclearize the Korean peninsula.

With that in mind...

I'm sure it won't be an easy task for the two sides to come to an agreement on ways

to ease tensions on the peninsula.

5- Critics have said that North Korea is trying to divide Seoul and Washington in a bid to

weaken international pressure and sanctions on the regime.

So what are the chances of us seeing North Korea demanding the suspension of the Seoul-Washington

joint military drills... as well as the deployment of U.S. strategic assets to South Korea.

6- Seoul also proposed resuming temporary reunions of separated families and holding

inter-Korean Red Cross talks to discuss this.

How has Pyongyang responded to such proposals?

7- The IOC will convene for

a session on January 20th..... with representatives of

the National Olympic Committees of South Korea

and North Korea

to discuss Pyongyang's participation in the 2018

Winter Olympic Games...

What can we expect here, and what significance does this meeting hold?

8- Now according to the joint statement from Tuesday's talks...

North Korea plans to send athletes and a high-level delegation

to the Olympics next month.

Cheerleaders, artists, spectators, a taekwondo demonstration team and North Korean news media

are also expected to attend the Games... and eyes are on

how *big of a delegation

it

will be compared to previous Olympics

North Korea

has participated

in.

Satisfaction Guarantee - Duration: 7:29.

Satisfaction guarantee.

What on earth does that mean?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi, there.

I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a housecleaning question, and I get to help you find an answer.

Now, today's show is brought to us by HouseCleaning360.com

Now, housecleaning360.com has a whole bunch of home service providers that do everything

from piano lessons to carpet cleaning and home decorating,

and most of them offer a satisfaction guarantee.

So, it's really awesome when you hire people and they offer a satisfaction guarantee,

which is what we're going to talk about today.

But if you need a home service provider, go to HouseCleaning360.com

All right.

On to today's topic.

There is a girl in our network who contacts me, and she says,

"I went to a customer's house.

I did the job.

I worked there for four hours.

I did an amazing job.

I was so proud of my work, and when I left, the homeowner sent me pictures of stuff that

was underneath the bed I had forgotten to vacuum.

Now, it is true, I forgot to vacuum underneath the bed.

But, they said that there were a bunch of dirt on the floor that they walked in with

their socks, and he texted me pictures of his socks.

Now, I know that I mopped the floors, and I promise I did not leave them that dirty.

The pictures that he sent me were dated three days before I cleaned, so I don't think it

was the work that I did.

Now he wants his money back.

What am I supposed to do?"

Oh, I hate this question.

Okay, a satisfaction guarantee says that if a customer is not satisfied that you give

their money back or you come back and you reclean the job.

Now, the conversation she has with this gentleman happened four days after she cleaned.

Now she has to go back, but she's all concerned because she thinks he messed up the house

since she was there.

All right, so it's a tug of war, but what it comes down to is this: When you do your

initial walkthrough, you got to explain your satisfaction guarantee.

What does it mean?

What does it mean for you?

Every company has a little bit different policies and procedures, but the standard in the housecleaning

industry is that within 24 hours after a job is done, if something is still dirty,

the customer calls you within that 24 hour window and you go back and you reclean what was messy,

or what was slipped, or skipped, or missed, or whatever.

Now, in the event that the customer is still 100% not satisfied, you give their money back.

If you're giving the money back, my suggestion is to ask questions.

What can I do better?

I don't want this to happen again.

What can I do better?

What can I do differently?

What were you looking for?

What were you expecting?

Where's the gap that I fell through?

Let the customer tell you, because what happened for however much the price of that cleaning

is that you're going to have to give back, that is the price of your lesson.

Don't ever do this again.

Whatever this customer is upset about, don't ever do that again,

because it's costing you money, right?

Make sure that you repair that at every house you clean from here on out.

If you skipped underneath the bed, make sure you clean under all the beds, right?

You want to do 100% job when you go to clean a house so you don't have to give back the money.

Now, it is really important that the customer understand that, number one,

you are a small business owner and this money that you're earning

is how you pay for groceries to feed your kids.

If this is a scam, because in the industry, there are scam artists, as there are in any

other industry, where they want you to come in and clean their house for free, and then

they don't want to pay you.

If they're sending you pictures that are dated three days before you came to clean, either

their camera phone time settings are off and are dated at three days early,

or they're scamming you.

If they're scamming you and you have a satisfaction guarantee, they need to understand that's

money out of your pocket.

Now, out of the goodness of our hearts, nobody wants to rob a single mom who's trying to

put food on the table, right?

Who does that?

So if they understand upfront this is how I pay my bills, this is how I feed my kids,

this is how I keep the electricity on in my house or how I keep my cellphone bill paid

so that I can answer your call when you call me to ask for service, and if you're sincere

about that, I don't know anyone that's going to rip you off, but there are some people

out there who do.

So specify upfront what your satisfaction guarantee is

and what are the rules associated with that.

Some people just give the money back.

Some people come back to clean.

Some people give a discount on future cleanings.

So, it really depends on what your business model is

and it depends on the severity of the situation.

Now, if they won't let you come back, because I've hear this too.

"Oh, they said don't bother.

They won't let me come back.

Now they just fired me and they don't want me to come ever again."

So they did get paid for that one cleaning, but they lost a customer.

I would way rather go back and have this weird energy like,

"Hey, you weren't happy with my work,

but I'm trying really hard and I want to make it right.

What can I do to keep you as a customer?" and rebuild that good will.

It's way, way, way less expensive to rebuild that good will than it is to catch an attitude

and say, "Oh, well, I'm not working for you again," and to bolt,

and then got to find a new customer.

You got to do advertising.

You got to do another walkthrough.

You got to go build rapport.

It's time consuming.

All the customers you can keep are way less expensive than going out and reinventing the

wheel every time.

But a satisfaction guarantee, yeah, I totally recommend it because it breaks down the barriers

and the walls of entrance.

If people are not sure of you, they've ever heard of you, they don't know of the quality

of your work, a satisfaction guarantee removes all of that doubt.

It gives them confidence in hiring you because if they're not happy,

they don't pay for the service.

Now, if you arrive and you are so confident in your work that I can give you 100% satisfaction

guarantee because I know we're not going to have to use it.

I'm 100% confident that when I leave today you're going to write me a fat check.

People are like, "Whoa.

Okay, great.

Delight and please me with your house cleaning."

Then, you got to show up and you got to deliver the goods.

Now, if you are really horrible at house cleaning, then you need training.

Go practice on all of your friends' houses.

Practice on your own house.

Practice as many times as you can until you become proficient at it.

What you may want to do is drop your rate in the beginning and charge a reasonable fee.

Don't charge top dollar, and go practice on as many houses as you can until you are an

amazing house cleaner, and you can show up with 100% confidence and say,

"Hey, I got this.

You want your satisfaction guarantee?

Here it is.

It's on paper.

You will never use it.

We're that good."

And know without a shadow of doubt you're that good.

All right.

That's my two cents for today.

I'm really sorry that this happened to you.

I hear stories like this all the time, and they don't please me.

Anyway, until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

Kostenloses Girokonto und Kreditkarte – Die 3 besten Banken - Duration: 3:44.

A free checking account and credit card, today we have a look at 3 suppliers where we can get

exactly that.

My name is Thorsten Wittmann, I welcome you today from Marrakech in Morocco.

At the moment we are at the markets, the so-called souks.

This goes with today's topic about saving money, because you have to bargain here, this

is often difficult with banks but you can easily get a free checking account

and credit card. The three best suppliers where you can also

withdraw money for free with its credit card are

DKB, the "Deutsche Kreditbank", comdirect, it's the direct company of

Commerzbank and ING-DiBa.

You can find the links to the banks below the video and can have a look

which one suits you best.

At comdirect you also receive a balance of about 100 € from now and then

when registering.

A nice gimmick.

The credit cards and conditions are relatively similar, so it doesn't make a big

difference.

All three are quite established banks and it also makes sense to diversify your

money among different banks.

Something you should consider is that there is after the bail-out, that means that

the states had to vouch for all the debts and

there is the so-called bail-in and that means what we have seen in Cyprus.

That we are liable with our money if a

bank goes bancrupt, that means

if you have an account at bank XY, they go bancrupt and this means that starting at a certain

limit, that if you have a lot of money there, that

starting at that limit you won't be seeing the money any more or a certain percentage will be kept

the so-called bail-in. That means that especially in the current environment you should not have that much money at one

single bank.

Diversify your money or make use of good investments.

You can find them all the time in our VIP-community where we get

new ideas every about investments every month.

Generally it is also good to have several credit cards, for example here in Morocco it happened to me that

only the third credit card,

I usually take 4 credit cards with me, that only the third

credit card worked at the ATM, so that you should take different ones for example

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, it really makes sense, because especially in more exotic

countries it can be difficult to get money.

A good is also to take foreign currency like the dollar for example

then you can change money in emergencies. This is what once happened to me in the South of Argentina

where normal credit cards do not work.

Without foreign currencies you don't have a problem then.

Ok, I hope I shared some helpful tips with you.

Feel free to like and share this video so that more people can save money, because

for example only 5 € a month are 60 € a year. 600 € accumulated, if you

invest it, this is a 4-digit amount very quickly and possibly even a 5-digit amount

that you can save by using free accounts.

Thus please share and like this video.

I look forward to seeing you again next Friday.

Now we are looking at a few impressions from Marrakech in Morocco.

It looks like a very colorful country, very chaotic and also very interesting.

We will wander around a bit more now and I look forward to seeing you

next Friday.

Live your financial freedom!

See you next Friday, Yours Thorsten Wittmann.

In this subject, which is relatively complex, he makes it work to transport

his words so that it's easy to understand.
