Smile!
Bro wait, wait.
Shahrukh?!
Come on guys, don't you need to catch up with the girls?
No matter where you come from, No matter who you are,
This is your home, This is my Dubai.
Come! Be my guest.

The Return of Superman | 슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다 - Ep.208 [ENG/IND/2018.01.14] - Duration: 1:23:56.
Seojun is preoccupied in the kitchen.
What are you doing alone?
(He is struggling to eat some ketchup.)
(This is when a tool should be used.)
(Blowing out)
(It looks like makeup for a horror film.)
Hey. Seoeon.
Is your nose bleeding?
- No. / - Then what?
It's ketchup.
I got ketchup on my face.
Try showing it to Daddy.
(They're excited to startle him.)
Hey! What is that?
Nosebleed.
What did you smear?
Ketchup.
Where's the mess? Come over here.
What if that gets into your eyes?
Where was the ketchup?
In the fridge.
How did that end up out of the fridge?
It walked out on its own.
It walked out on its own?
Yes.
It walked out on its own.
Who scooped this out?
Daddy, I want an ice cream.
Is it tasty?
Clap if it's tasty. Begin.
(Clap? Save that for another bumpkin.)
(If it's good, they show it with their whole body.)
(Shake it, shake it)
(He chuckles at his son's cute moves.)
(The shake is real with this crab-like move.)
(But his movements seem a bit special.)
I think you'll be good at dancing.
It's almost like Seo Taiji and Boys.
(He is like a wave machine.)
You don't quite have the same movements, though.
Hey, Seoeon. No, don't do that.
Seriously, Seoeon?
Hey, it hurts. It hurts me.
(18kg plus 16kg on top)
Hey. Ouch.
(Jumping)
(Feeling slightly sorry)
Is this refreshing? I'm sorry.
(Was that really a massage?)
The Return of Superman, episode 208.
"We'd Choose Ourselves Again in Another Life".
("We'd Choose Ourselves Again in Another Life")
Daddy is a scary person.
Are you more scared of me or Mom?
(Thinking hard)
The schoolmaster.
(To the twins, he is scarier than a tiger.)
Are you not scared of Mommy and Daddy?
(The answer is a clear "No".)
Who is the least scary between
your schoolmaster, Mommy and Daddy?
- Daddy. / - What?
(Chuckling)
When I was young, my dad was the scariest.
Hey, Seojun. What would make me scary?
This is a serious question.
(The only thing in this prankster's mind)
(is pranks.)
Turn on the lights.
(Is he pretending not to understand?)
It's not turning on.
- You know how. / - It's not working.
Turn on the lights in one, two, three.
I guess I'll have to call the schoolmaster.
Should he be here in 10 minutes or 5?
(Is he really on his way?)
Daddy, don't say that.
How many times did I warn you?
Daddy, give me the schoolmaster's number.
- His number? / - Yes.
What for?
So I can tell him not to come.
You want to tell him not to come?
Seoeon, do you want to make the call?
That's a zero, right? Zero.
It's one and zero.
Are the prank-loving twins
really calling the schoolmaster?
Is he picking up?
Here.
Hello?
Hello?
Who is this?
(Let's get serious.)
It's Seojun.
Is that you, Seojun?
Please don't come to our house.
(Did they really call?)
(Bursting out laughing)
- Seojun. / - Yes?
You don't want me over your house?
No.
Why not?
(He suddenly hears a window close.)
Daddy said that you shouldn't come.
When did I say that?
- There's no chance. / - You're
not coming today, right?
Hello?
- Say goodbye properly. / - I'll hang up now.
(Phone calls should get straight to the point.)
Daddy, he said he's not coming.
(Ringing)
(What is this ominous feeling?)
Hello?
You have to bid me well before hanging up.
Okay.
There's something I forgot to mention when you called.
It was about...
But can I hang up?
- Hey, Seojun. / - Is the cat well?
Do you miss the cat?
Yes.
Then would you like to visit me today?
Let me ask Daddy first.
Can I hang up now?
May I?
(Why does he keep wanting to hang up?)
Do you recall one of the characters we learned?
What character did you learn?
Filial piety.
That's right. You learned about filial piety, right?
Yes.
Do you remember your manner lessons?
- Yes. / - Recite one.
Can I hang up?
No. Do you remember your manner lessons?
Yes.
"My father conceived me, and my mother raised me."
(Manners were recited at the schoolhouse.)
("My father conceived me,")
("and my mother raised me.")
Should I put Seoeon over the phone?
Sure, put Seoeon on the phone.
It's me, Seoeon.
Hello, Master.
Have you been well, Seoeon?
Yes. Politeness.
Where are your hands right now?
Are they together over your chest?
Yes.
(Oh, no)
Good job. Do you recall your manner lessons?
Yes.
"My father conceived me,"
"and my mother raised me."
Your parents gave birth to you, right?
Yes.
Be good to your parents and listen to them.
Get along with Seojun and mind your manners, okay?
Yes, Master.
Should I visit sometime?
- No. / - Sure.
Will you be okay without me going?
Yes.
Politeness.
Be well, Master.
Be well, okay?
- Yes, Master. / - Bye.
- Bye. / - Bye.
(Seoeon doesn't hang up until he hears the click.)
(Will the conversation have an effect on them?)
Father.
Yes?
Father.
Yes, my son?
Your father is very thirsty.
Are you?
(In that case...)
Hold on. I'll be back.
(Is he really getting)
(water for Hwijae?)
This should be enough, right?
(It's a touching moment.)
Drink some water, Father.
Drink some water, Father.
(It's extremely touching.)
I am so moved that
I feel tears welling up.
Thank you so much, son. I'll drink it well.
(This is a rare sight to see.)
Give the glass to me once you're finished, Father.
Did I say it right?
Yes.
Thank you.
(I shall clean up, Father.)
Hey, Seoeon and Seojun.
Do you guys want some chocolate cake?
Yes.
All right.
(In his good mood, Hwijae rewards them.)
Enjoy.
You forgot to say thank you.
Enjoy, my sons.
I'll be back. I need to go to the bathroom.
(Hesitating)
(Why aren't you boys eating?)
(The twins watch the food instead of eating it.)
That looks good.
Can't we eat first?
Dad should eat it first.
(What did he just say?)
Thank me before you eat your meal.
Thank you for the food, Master.
The correct manner is to let adults eat first.
They recall the lessons of their schoolmaster
and practice patience.
(They even wait on chocolate cake.)
I know they love chocolate cake.
This is very praiseworthy.
Will they be able to wait until Hwijae returns?
(I want it.)
We can't eat until Daddy has some first.
Daddy gave birth to us.
Daddy needs to eat first.
Can I smell it?
(Taking in the aroma)
(Breathing out)
(Sniffing)
(Breathing out)
It looks so good.
You want to eat, right?
No, we have to resist.
How long are you going to take, Dad?
- Five minutes. / - Five minutes?
Five minutes?
Hurry up and come back.
(Shall I take one bite?)
(No, Daddy has to eat first.)
(They seem to have become like zombies.)
You're not really eating, are you?
The correct manner is
to let adults eat first.
(Resisting)
"My father conceived me."
I can't eat yet.
(This can't go on.)
Dad, why is it taking you six minutes?
Hey, I can't set a timer on this. I'll be right out.
(Why are they telling me to hurry up so much?)
(He discovers their untouched cakes.)
Why weren't you guys eating?
So you can eat first.
Gosh. You two are such fine sons.
(Here's a bit for Daddy)
(and a lot for me.)
(It tastes better after observing manners.)
One more bite for me.
Why?
- What? / - You only get a bite.
I only get a bite?
Hey.
(The schoolmaster didn't say anything about that.)
Give me a bite.
Hey.
The person you two love the most is...
Dad.
Dad.
(Feeling excited)
But I love Mommy too.
- Yes, of course. / - Daddy for me.
(Don't forget to be good to your parents.)
Raise your hands. Raise them high.
Up straight.
They're coming down. Put them straight up.
The Ko duo is having a crisis.
What is going on?
Do you remember coming here, Seungjae?
- Hello. We will... / - This one.
There's chocolate here.
I'll take the oatmeal steak brunch.
- Grape flavor... / - And
the hamburger steak with basil cream, please.
What kind of drinks do you have?
Chocolate.
(Let's see.)
- What are you eating? / - My goodness.
Would you like some?
Yes.
- Thank you. / - You're Seungjae, right?
I like you.
- It's nice to meet you. / - Me, too.
Enjoy your food.
- You, too. / - Thank you.
- I'm sorry. / - Don't mention it.
- Say bye. / - Goodbye.
Did you get some bread from that gentleman?
- Isn't he so nice? / - Yes.
Do you remember this place?
- We ate here before. / - We did.
Try the beef.
(They came here to eat a year ago.)
(Running)
Hi.
(He's always been extremely friendly.)
Let's play.
Hold my hand.
- We ate here before. / - We did.
So you do remember. Good job.
Seungjae, other customers are dining here too.
So don't scramble about, okay?
(Jiyong leaves to pick up the food.)
While Jiyong leaves to get the food,
Seungjae quietly plays with his dinosaurs.
So far,
their outing seems incident free.
(Staying calm)
- The food's here. / - I've been still.
Were you?
Hey, Seungjae.
Don't just drink the milk. Eat everything, okay?
I want this too.
(He takes a bite of bread just to comply.)
There's meat here.
(He goes right back to sipping the milk.)
You can't just drink the milk.
(So he takes another bite of bread.)
Try the beef, Seungjae.
The beef? I don't want it.
Just one bite. Open wide.
(Seungjae has become very picky.)
You don't want the beef, Seungjae?
(He pretends to focus elsewhere.)
(A dinosaur falls as he fidgets around.)
Don't do that.
(He gets a warning.)
(He does the opposite of what he is told.)
(Oh, no)
(Eventually, he ends up spilling something.)
Can I just eat peacefully, please?
Hey, Seungjae.
- Seungjae. / - Yes?
Wipe that down.
Wipe it.
Hurry.
(He makes Seungjae clean it himself.)
I'm good.
(Unaware of his situation, he praises himself.)
Take a seat.
Look at me, Seungjae.
Are you not going to eat the meat?
Are you not eating? Don't say you're hungry later.
Okay.
(He fidgets in his seat while getting in trouble.)
Sit. Don't go down.
Why not? Why can't I get up?
Because you're here to eat.
Are you here to run around?
(Sulking)
Hey, Seungjae.
(He takes something out from his pocket.)
It's a yellow card.
It's a yellow card.
(He's taken aback.)
For children his age, rather than talking,
providing visual cues helps them
understand more efficiently.
In order to make the warning clear,
I got the card ready.
It's a yellow card.
(First warning)
- What is that? / - A lot of money.
It's a warning.
If you get two of these, you're out.
(What does that mean?)
You already received one.
(Sulking)
Hey, I warned you just now with a yellow card.
You're out of chances.
I'm not.
Sit down, Seungjae.
Don't sit on the floor. Sit on the seat.
- Sit. / - I'm a crawling bug.
Didn't I tell you to eat?
- I'm not going to eat. / - What?
This is your last chance. Will you eat or not?
- I'm not. / - You're not?
- Then pack up. / - Okay.
(Jiyong is mad.)
Go in.
(But he seems clueless and packs slowly.)
I'm angry right now. Pack quickly.
Hurry.
(As soon as he's done,)
Let's go.
(Jiyong insists on leaving.)
(Seungjae follows without a word.)
- Seungjae. / - Are we going home?
- Are we going home? / - You're in trouble.
(He looks concerned.)
- Where? / - We'll talk at home.
Daddy, the food...
(Assessing the situation)
(It's quiet like the calm before the storm.)
(They arrive home.)
Seungjae.
Look at me.
(Jiyong seems more distant than usual.)
Come here.
(Seungjae stays wary of his dad.)
I gave you a yellow card earlier, right?
What did I say would happen with two?
- I'd get kicked out. / - That's right.
That's why we left the restaurant.
(He explains why Seungjae is in trouble.)
Your behavior is rude to other people.
Stand in front of the wall here
and think about what you did wrong, okay?
(Jiyong leaves him and heads to the kitchen.)
(Wriggling)
(Seungjae can't stand facing the wall.)
(Glancing)
(He follows his dad's movements.)
Face the wall.
(Startled)
(Standing at attention)
(Daddy is scary, but his body itches to move.)
Seungjae.
(Is he watching me?)
You have to face the wall.
(Jiyong knows exactly what's going on.)
(He checks the reflection on the microwave.)
(Even the slightest movement)
(doesn't go unnoticed.)
(This isn't a screen capture.)
(He's probably a bit sorry by now.)
Do you know what you did wrong?
- Yes. / - What did you do wrong?
- I didn't eat. / - Right?
What else?
I distracted other people.
- Will you do that again? / - No, I won't.
I won't do it again.
Promise.
(He promises not to do it again.)
Seal.
Don't do that, okay?
Okay.
Don't do that.
(He returns to his room after the time-out.)
(Lying down)
(His body and soul are tired.)
(Jiyong is tired as well.)
(Dad, you aren't angry anymore, are you?)
(Seungjae's target)
You can't have it unless you eat.
You can't watch it before you eat.
(Staring)
(Grabbing)
No.
(When he moves it, he reaches for it again.)
Seungjae, didn't you hear me?
Do you think I am joking?
Yes.
(Acting cute)
- Do you think I am joking? / - Yes.
(Seungjae, this isn't the time to act cute.)
Come here. This won't do.
Come here.
Raise your arms. Raise your arms high.
Keep them raised.
(Disappointed)
(He is upset.)
(His arms become heavy.)
Raise them higher.
They are falling. Keep them raised.
(I am sorry, Dad.)
Do you still think I am joking?
No.
I told you I will give you the mobile phone if you eat.
- Did you eat? / - No.
You tried to watch a video without eating.
- Are you sorry? / - Yes.
Put your arms down.
What are you sorry for?
I tried to watch a video without eating.
Eat before you watch a video.
Okay.
You can't watch it as you eat.
I won't do that.
Will you eat well?
Yes, I will.
Come here.
Attention.
- Are you really sorry? / - Yes.
- You are, right? / - Yes.
I trust you to keep your promise.
- I trust you, okay? / - Yes.
- I mean it. / - Okay.
I will eat well.
(Jiyong gives Seungjae a hug afterward.)
I feel bad every time I scold him,
but I can't let him act as he pleases.
When he needs to be disciplined,
I will do my best.
Let's go.
Where are we going?
We are going to a restaurant
I used to go frequently when I was young.
I am sure you will like it.
It's an old restaurant.
It was here even before I was born.
It's an old restaurant.
I went there sometimes when I was in school.
It has always been a gukbap restaurant
inside the market.
Now that I am an adult and a dad,
I decided to visit
and share the place of my memories with my children.
You line up to eat at this restaurant.
Everyone has lined up.
This is the line.
(Customers are waiting outside.)
How many people in your company?
- Two. / - Two.
- You are in line, right? / - Yes.
(They were in line for a long time.)
(Donggook goes in to check,)
(but quickly turns back.)
We need to line up.
Let's line up here.
(The restaurant is packed.)
This restaurant is still busy.
Why do people line up to eat?
Many people come to this restaurant to eat.
We will go in and eat when it's our turn.
There are no seats.
How long do we need to wait?
When other people come out after their meals,
we can go in.
Hello, Sian.
Did you line up to go in?
We did since there were too many customers.
You need to wait a little. Enjoy your food.
Okay.
(Okay.)
- Sua, are you hungry? / - Yes.
I am hungry, too.
Sian, are you hungry?
You need to wait a little to eat tasty food.
That's how you can enjoy your food even more.
(How much longer do I need to wait?)
Are you bored already?
We haven't waited long.
I hope our turn comes soon.
I know.
(They have been waiting for 10 minutes.)
(Sighing)
How many people are in your company?
Please come in.
Go ahead. There are four of us.
It will be our turn soon.
You need to line up.
- Is this the line? / - Yes.
I see. Let's line up.
- Did you wait long? / - Yes.
- Really? / - Yes.
How long did you wait?
Very long.
- Do we need to wait long? / - Yes.
We need to wait long.
- We need to wait long. / - Yes.
- I am dying of hunger. / - My goodness.
- Don't be ridiculous. / - I am hungry, too.
- You are not dying. / - I am dying of hunger.
Let's go. It's our turn.
(The three siblings enter.)
We will eat quickly and come out.
Let's go. We are coming in.
- Sit here. / - Be careful.
How pretty!
(They enter the restaurant after a 15-minute wait.)
Sian, sit next to me.
(They sit down after a long wait.)
(Seola takes out the eating utensils.)
- Hello. / - Hello.
How cute!
Three small gomtang and one big gomtang, please.
- Please hurry up. / - Okay.
I am begging you.
"I am begging you"?
(Where did you learn that?)
It's gomtang with Dad's memories.
The sight warms the body and soul.
Your dishes are served.
It's hot. Be careful.
Please give me a plate.
(It's a hearty dish.)
Thank you for the food.
- Thank you for the food. / - Thank you for the food.
There is a lot of meat.
(He eats the gomtang of his hometown.)
(This is the taste.)
(Sian takes a big bite.)
(He feels the heat.)
- Was it hot? / - Was it hot?
(He takes a sip of water right away.)
Was it hot?
Did you take a small bite because it's hot?
- Did you? / - Yes.
You can pour water in it.
There you go. It won't be hot now.
Try it, Sian.
(Affectionate)
It isn't hot, is it?
A bit? Is it still hot?
Is it a bit hot?
(She loves her brother.)
(Seola pours more water.)
There you go.
Try it, Sian.
Seola, you are pretty.
I like you.
I can wipe your mouth.
I can do that for you.
(I will go ahead and eat.)
(Sua savors the meat.)
(Eat meat when you are in a bad mood.)
(She eats carbohydrates after eating protein.)
Do it like a hippo.
(Opening wide)
(I am the best at eating in this area.)
She is a hippo.
I ate these steamed buns when I was little.
Come here. Come here, Sian.
Steamed buns.
- Hello. / - Steamed buns.
- It has been a while. / - Yes.
I haven't come here in a long time.
- Steamed buns. / - You must try them.
Please give us a serving of steamed buns.
When I lived in Pohang...
It must be over 20 years old.
I frequented the steamed bun place.
Since it's in my memories,
I wanted the children to taste it.
Sian, you look a bit like a steamed bun.
(What?)
Take a look.
When you press down on a steamed bun,
it looks like you.
(My face looks like a steamed bun)
(Annoyed)
No.
I look handsome.
(Laughing)
- My goodness. / - Try it.
This is a treat in winter.
This is sweet red bean soup.
It contains chocolate. Try it.
(Intrigued)
- Chocolate? / - That's right.
- Chocolate? / - It's chocolate juice.
(Seola takes a bite.)
(Thumbs up)
I am serious. Sian, try it.
(Sian takes a bite as well.)
(His response is automatic.)
This is sweet red bean soup.
- Take a small bite. / - It's like chocolate.
It's like chocolate.
Just taste a little.
How does it taste?
I bet you want more.
(Thumbs up)
I bet you want more.
The first bite is the hardest.
After that, it's harder to stop eating.
- Who is next? / - If you laugh and laugh,
you will get a hairy butt.
Who taught you that?
What's tastier, chocolate or this?
- This. / - This is tastier, right?
This is...
You visited Guryongpo Elementary School
- on Children's Day. / - I visited for an event.
You were with Pohang Steelers.
I think it was
- about 20 years ago. / - Yes.
Moms lined up to get your autograph
when you visited the elementary school.
I didn't get your autograph then.
I didn't know you would be so popular.
I regretted it.
Children,
you heard her, right?
Why would you want my dad's autograph?
He is famous.
You don't know how famous your dad is.
However, Sian is more popular these days.
He is so popular among middle-aged women.
Please give me your autograph today.
- After 20 years... / - I will be
getting it after 20 years.
Sit down.
You must give an autograph in all seriousness.
Sit down. All right.
I am good at signing.
- Are you good at signing? / - Yes.
- Sit down. / - I am good at it, too.
Sian, sign here.
Sian, sign big.
Write here.
When I was here for an event,
she didn't get my autograph.
He is giving autographs at the age of four.
How popular will he be?
He can write his name.
(He completed "Lee".)
- This one? / - Yes.
"This one".
What is he doing?
- This one? / - Yes.
Write what you know.
(He is trying his best to write his name.)
Write big.
Sian,
you shouldn't make her wait so long.
Mom likes it.
Does Mom like it?
- Yes. / - All right.
I wrote it.
It's your autograph.
I will put your autograph on the wall.
What did he write?
Seola, Sua, Sian.
- All right. / - Seola, Sua, Sian.
(It looks a bit like "Lee Sian".)
William wore this when he was younger.
Sam packs the clothes
William wore when he was a newborn.
What is William doing?
(He glances over at Sam)
(and studies the camera.)
(Studying)
(Sneaky)
(A polar bear appears in the living room.)
(This polar bear likes to pull a prank.)
(William is unaware.)
(Shouting)
(He smiles even when he is startled.)
(I will play with Dad.)
Where are you going?
(Peek-a-boo)
William, what are you doing?
Hello.
Who do you take after?
Dad.
Louder.
Dad.
(You heard me, right?)
One more time. Louder.
Dad!
(Here you go.)
Good job.
Come on out. We need to pack up.
Help me.
(Where are we going?)
My oldest son.
William, you are now the oldest son.
Since I grew up alone,
I wanted William to grow up with siblings.
Now that he has a sibling,
I feel
the happiest I can be.
You will meet your brother tomorrow.
(He is happy to meet his brother.)
My goodness.
Where is Mom?
Hello, William. What were you doing?
Are you going on a trip?
I have so many things to pack.
There are more than I expected.
Did you finish packing up?
No, I need to pack now.
I think I need a bigger suitcase.
(I will go over your belongings.)
Right, William?
It's small, right?
(Going in)
I have so many things to pack.
You only need William.
Bye.
Bye.
Did you finish getting ready?
I just got
the clothes he used to wear.
William, do you remember wearing those clothes?
You wore those in the past.
William.
Raise your arms. Raise your arms.
(He raises his arms.)
- My goodness. / - Raise your arms.
Why is he in such a good mood?
William, let's try it on.
You wore it when you were born.
Let's see if it goes in.
Put your arm in.
It went in.
Stand up.
Let's take a look, William.
Taekwondo!
Taekwondo!
William used to be a tiny baby.
Now...
Taekwondo!
(He has a healthy body.)
William.
My goodness.
(He struggles to put socks on.)
- He wants to put them on. / - Wouldn't you feel hot
in these socks?
I need to keep my hands and feet warm.
- Right. / - They are a must.
(I will put these on.)
He is trying to put his feet inside.
How will you do it?
Is it not working?
(He gives up.)
What is he doing by the drying rack?
(Come on, strength.)
Where will you stop?
(He takes his mom's sleeping socks.)
Is he looking after his mom?
(The oldest son gets his mom's sleeping socks.)
You are the best.
(William looks after his mom.)
Who do you take after?
(Who do you take after?)
Dad.
All done!
(Proud)
(Something is missing.)
(William brings something.)
William, what is that?
- What is that? / - Mom.
- Mom? / - Is it for Mom?
Is it for Mom? Do you remember?
When you were a baby, I made it smell like me
and gave it to you. Do you remember?
It's the doll that stayed next to William.
(My brother can have it.)
High-five.
My goodness.
When your brother is born tomorrow,
he will wear this hat.
What will you say to him?
Go on.
You are good at this.
(Dingdong's first hat has the family's touches.)
There you go.
"See you tomorrow."
Dingdong.
All right.
What do you hear?
(I want to see you, Dingdong.)
William, are you ready to be a big brother?
(William's family heads to the hospital.)
Where is the car?
- There it is. / - We will take the car.
William.
Sit here.
(Are we going to meet my brother?)
Are you giving me a hand?
I'm giving Dingdong a hand.
My goodness.
I don't know where to hold.
Thank you.
(Mom and Dad are nice to see.)
William, we are going to meet Dingdong.
When we left home, there were three of us.
When we return, there will be four of us.
Four.
This is our last night.
This is our last night as a family of three.
You had William 16 months ago.
(He is reminded of the day William was born.)
Do you remember?
We wanted a natural birth.
We wanted a natural birth no matter what.
In a sense, we were too stubborn.
I almost gave up
because I was in so much pain.
The doctors kept saying, "You are almost there."
- I thought the baby would come out soon. / - Me, too.
Thinking that the baby would come out soon,
I pushed for five hours.
I pushed over and over again at set intervals.
When I think about it...
(They chose C-section in the end.)
In the end,
we chose C-section.
William, do you remember?
You sure took your time. I pushed so hard.
Didn't you want to come out?
You can tell me now.
- "You can tell me now"? / - You can tell me now.
Cone Head.
For the rest of his life,
his nickname will be "Cone Head".
I know.
Today is the day
(The day William was born)
my son will be born.
Stop.
(They couldn't help but choose C-section.)
I am sorry.
It hurts, right?
(They couldn't help but choose C-section.)
(After much struggles...)
After making his mom and dad worried,
William entered the world.
(William came into the world.)
(His head shows the sign of natural birth.)
You opened one of your eyes.
You did.
(William came to them like a blessing.)
Mom is sick.
William.
Thank you for enduring.
It's a dreamlike reality.
A dreamlike reality?
It was hard to have William.
We failed so many times.
(Artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization)
We even wondered if we could have a child.
That's why it feels more unreal.
I couldn't believe we had William,
and now a second baby in tow.
I didn't have much expectation.
With William, it took so many tries.
I am thankful it was easier this time.
We waited over 10 months.
Now we have
(They have 14 hours and 30 minutes left.)
14 hours and 30 minutes left.
It will feel real
tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow,
you will be awake during the procedure.
I am a bit scared when I think about it.
- You are scared? / - Of course I am.
I will be by your side
and hold your hand. Don't worry.
(She is touched.)
William, are you ready?
Wow!
The visiting hours end at 8 p.m.
One guardian can stay.
You must fast from 12 a.m. onward.
Don't even drink water.
Did you hear that?
Mom can't eat food after 12 a.m.
Food.
- Food? / - I can't eat food
- after 12 a.m. / - Not much time remains.
- And tomorrow... / - I want something tasty.
What do you want to eat?
I want to eat
something warm since it's cold outside.
- Jjamppong? / - No.
- Ramyeon. / - Mussels.
- Mussels? / - Mussels.
I want mussel stew.
(Flustered)
Mom, we will be back.
Right?
(The oldest son is enthusiastic.)
Do you want to go to Daerim-dong?
Hello.
(Let's hurry up and go.)
Really?
Let's go and buy Mom's food.
Food.
William, let's go. Where is it?
What did Mom want?
Mussel stew.
There is an Italian restaurant.
Do you sell mussel stew?
- No, we don't. / - You don't?
Okay.
Do you sell mussel stew?
No, we don't.
- Do you sell mussel stew? / - Pardon?
- No, we don't. / - You don't.
Thank you. Have a good day.
Where can we buy mussel stew?
This is driving me crazy.
Mussel stew.
(Dad, that restaurant might sell it.)
Let's go.
(They go into the restaurant.)
Do you happen to sell mussel stew?
Yes, you can order it.
(Yes, it's possible.)
- Really? / - Yes.
Thank goodness. There is mussel stew.
Thank goodness.
(Wait a bit longer, Mom.)
Thank you. Have a good day.
Let's go.
(Knocking)
Where is Mom?
(They enter confidently.)
William.
- You are back. / - Where should I put it?
- Did you get it? / - Hurrah!
Hurrah!
- Hurrah! / - Loyalty!
Where did you get it at this hour?
I am a capable man.
It looks delicious.
(It's hot mussel stew.)
Food.
Thank you for the food. Thank you, William,
for getting it with Dad for me.
Eat up.
It's really tasty.
(Where is my food?)
William has his eyes on the pizza.
(Pizza is the main dish.)
(He charges toward the pizza.)
It looks delicious.
(He is sad to have short arms.)
Here.
(Blowing)
(He blows on hot food.)
He is blowing on it because it's hot.
(It's hot.)
My goodness.
It's hot.
It's his first pizza. How will it taste?
(Shaking)
(Tasty food makes him shake.)
He must like it.
William.
(Are you giving me food?)
Did you think I was giving you food?
(I thought you were giving me food.)
He is eating well.
You are eating so well, William.
(I didn't know such a taste existed.)
(He is eating more than a pregnant woman.)
Look at him.
(Chewing)
Are you giving birth tomorrow?
(What's William's next target?)
(Pickle)
It will taste sour.
(Eating)
(He is shocked by the sourness.)
- William. / - It's sour, right?
Hey.
He is still eating it.
(He can't let go of it.)
He is eating with both hands.
This is our last dinner as a family of three.
Tomorrow, we will be a family of four.
A family of four. You will be the oldest.
The oldest.
I pray that the childbirth will go well.
(Let's go.)
- Let's go. / - Let's go.
(That night,)
(Sam comforts his wife when she is worried.)
It will be a war tomorrow.
It will be a war.
I know.
Good night.
Good night.
(He gives her a good night kiss.)
- Good night. / - Let's turn it off.
(It's the last night of the family of three.)
(It's the D-day of Dingdong's birth.)
Where is your mom?
Mom?
(She isn't in the bed.)
(Did something happen?)
(She returns in an operating gown.)
- Honey. / - Yes?
- Did you get some sleep? / - Not really.
I am a bit nervous.
(Seeing the operating gown makes him nervous.)
(Is William aware of the situation?)
(He is cheerful.)
- Why are you so happy? / - He is happy.
You don't know who you will meet.
- Hello. / - Hello.
- Hello. / - Had any good dreams?
- She barely slept. / - I barely slept.
Don't worry too much. Is the baby playing well?
- Yes, he is moving a lot. / - Really?
See you in the operating room.
Please take good care of her.
Please take good care of her.
(Doctor, please take good care of her.)
Ms. Jeong Yumi, we will go down now.
- Okay. / - Mom has to go now.
Kiss.
Thank you so much.
Say, "Good luck, Mom."
- Let's go, let's go. / - Let's go, let's go.
Are you Ms. Jeong Yumi?
We will give you this before you go in.
Hearing about anesthesia makes me scared.
It's okay.
Let's go.
The scary and worrying time comes.
(Yumi heads to the operating room.)
Sam can't take his eyes off of his wife.
(He watches his wife leave.)
(Thankful and worried,)
(he ends up shedding tears.)
We will begin the operation.
Is Sam inside?
He will come inside now.
The guardian is coming in.
Hold her hand. Your husband is here.
He is here.
It was so hard to breathe. I thought I might die.
You're all right now.
(He holds the hand of his exhausted wife.)
Try to breathe.
Take deep breaths.
(Sam comforts his wife as she takes a deep breath.)
- I'm all right now. / - Okay.
I wish William was with us.
Do you think he'd sit still?
If he's with me, he'd cheer for me.
Should I cheer for you instead? Go, go!
Go, go!
(He's full of worry.)
(William is waiting with his grandmother.)
Mommy!
(He sounds sorrowful.)
I miss you, Mommy!
(William wants to meet his mom and his sibling.)
(The C-section for the delivery continues.)
(Sam stays next to her for moral support.)
I'm okay right now,
but I'll be scared later once I find out.
You'll be okay.
The medical team is busily engaged all of a sudden.
(She seems to be struggling even more.)
(Sam is sickened with worry as well.)
The baby is about to come out now.
Please lower the bed.
- I'm almost there. / - Lowering the bed.
When we help the baby come out,
you will feel a slight pain.
Relax your stomach.
(She's trying her best until the end.)
- All right. / - Here.
A bit more, please.
A bit more, please.
(Crying)
Congratulations. You have a boy at 9:30 p.m.
You did a good job.
(Her second child is finally born.)
It's a boy.
Congratulations. You have a boy at 9:30 p.m.
You did a good job.
(His cry sounds healthy and sonorous.)
(The world's best gift, the birth of their child)
My goodness.
(It's a wonderful and moving moment.)
- He resembles William. / - Exactly.
- He looks like William. / - Yes.
(Crying)
Dingdong?
William, let's go and meet your brother.
Mommy!
(Toddling)
(The oldest is feeling excited.)
(Does he know it was from his brother?)
(Crying)
Hey.
(He sounds affectionate.)
(Dingdong stops crying at the voice of Sam.)
Hold this and cut this part.
(Sam cuts the umbilical cord with shaking hands.)
You're doing well.
Dingdong, I'm right next to you.
(It's the hat William made for the newborn baby.)
I didn't do anything. It was all you, Honey.
He's all set.
Let me bring him to you.
(It's her first time seeing Dingdong.)
My goodness.
Congratulations. He's so pretty.
- Thank you. / - Here he is.
(Thank you for coming to us, Dingdong.)
Hey, little guy.
Was it hard?
Goodness.
(10 months ago, he came to them like a miracle.)
10 months ago, Dingdong came to them like a gift.
(They wished for a safe delivery.)
(They have been waiting for the day to meet him.)
(Wriggling)
(He grew up with love from them.)
Give him a kiss. There you go.
Tell him you love him.
(Thankfully, Dingdong is born as a healthy baby.)
To be honest...
(Sam can't continue as he's overwhelmed.)
I had mixed feelings.
It was
a long journey for us to conceive William.
It was difficult.
She even experienced a miscarriage.
My wife went through a lot.
Since she took care of him for 38 weeks and 6 days,
I must take care of him for the rest of his life.
I feel like I can do everything now.
It helps the baby feel at ease
when you touch the baby with your skin.
Hearing your heartbeat
will make the baby feel comfortable.
Since we need to finish her surgery,
why don't you go and do the skin-to-skin care?
I see. Okay.
- Be careful when you hug. / - Let us bring him out.
(Sam is here for the skin-to-skin care.)
Why don't you take a seat here?
(Dingdong can't open his eyes yet.)
(Like a kangaroo placing its baby in its pouch,)
(Sam gingerly hugs the baby.)
Hold on.
(Embracing)
(The father and son feel each other's warmth.)
It's Daddy.
(Good job, buddy.)
Good job.
(He tears up.)
It was tight in Mommy's belly, right?
You don't know how much we wanted to see you.
We really couldn't wait to meet you.
(Wiggling)
(Dingdong responds to his daddy's voice.)
Gosh.
Why are you so warm?
You're hot.
Dingdong is comfortable in his daddy's embrace
while listening to his heartbeat.
(For the care, he puts the baby)
(on his chest and caresses the baby's back.)
(It develops affection between them.)
Right then!
You opened your eyes.
The baby looks at his dad for the first time.
(His dad is the first person Dingdong sees.)
I'll make you happy.
(It was heartwarming albeit brief.)
Dingdong, let's go. Gosh, he's strong.
(It's time to say goodbye.)
(Sam bursts into tears as he's moved.)
(He cries when he's separated from his dad.)
He feels disappointed and sad to part with his son.
Bye. I'll see you later.
Gosh, did the delivery go well?
Yes, it did.
- Here. / - William.
- William. William. / - There.
You're an older brother now.
You have a younger brother now.
Daddy.
(Really?)
- Do you want a photo? / - Photo?
Who is this?
This is your younger brother.
(He sees his brother in a photo for the first time.)
(Wait.)
- Look. / - Hey.
(Hey, my brother.)
Do you know your brother's name?
Bentley.
(Bentley is his brother's name.)
That's right.
Congratulations, older brother.
Mom.
(I miss her.)
His mom returns after the surgery.
She heads to her ward.
(She heads to the ward for recovery.)
(However...)
But where are Sam and William?
(She feels the pain as the anesthesia wears off.)
(Clicking)
William.
Great job, Honey.
(It's Sam and William's surprise party.)
Great job.
(Moved)
Clap. Clap for Mom.
Good job, Mom.
She gave birth to Bentley.
Good job.
(Were you surprised, Mom?)
(They got William and Bentley cake toppers.)
Clap.
(We should blow out the candles.)
William, blow them out for me.
(Blowing)
(Blowing)
Clap!
High-five. Bump it.
(Mom, you did great!)
Let's go, Mom!
Let's go! Let's go!
Thank you.
How do you feel?
I'm okay. But my stomach hurts a lot.
- Does it hurt a lot? / - Yes.
You did great.
You, too.
I didn't do anything.
- You watched over me. / - That's nothing.
You did all the hard work.
William.
Jeong Taeoh.
Jeong Taeoh. Taeoh.
What should we call your little brother?
There was a name we considered before.
- Are we sticking to it? / - We should.
- Woosung? / - Yes.
- Jeong Woosung. / - Jeong Woosung.
- Is Woosung coming? / - What?
Is he coming today?
Today?
Sorry, I forgot to call him.
Jung Woosung.
No, the Jeong Woosung in this building.
(Not that Woosung, our Woosung!)
- He'll come up later. / - Really?
Bentley is here.
William. William. Who's here?
(Excited)
William, William. Look at the baby.
(The family is gathering for the first time.)
Hello.
Who is that?
William, who is that?
(Fixated)
How beautiful.
He looks different from earlier.
Gosh. Are you amazed?
Bentley.
Say hello. It's your little brother.
Hello, William.
(He's sharing)
Who is it?
(the snack in his hand.)
Are you giving it to him?
You're sharing? How nice of you.
You're so kind.
Are you giving it to him?
(Is he taking care of his little brother?)
My goodness.
My goodness.
(He's climbing to get a better look.)
William, do you want me to help you up?
(He must have wanted to see Bentley closer.)
(He's reaching towards his little brother.)
William, it's your little brother.
(He's amazed.)
He looks like William, right?
He looks the same as when William was first born.
For now. The face.
Wow, they really look identical.
(Bentley, William)
Ben. Ben.
(He's looking at the baby for a long time.)
Ben.
You can stroke him.
Gosh.
(Stroking)
I love you.
You're so beautiful.
Dingdong.
He's your brother.
Is he cute?
Yes.
(Pleased)
(It looks like these two will get along.)
One, two, three.
(Opening)
(We're one family! I love you, Dingdong!)
It's a touching day as they became a family.
Thanks to his parents' love,
(Two days after birth)
Bentley is growing more day by day.
(Three days after birth)
(It's William's doll.)
(Four days after birth)
He's already so handsome on his fifth day.
(He looks handsome on his seventh day.)
Can you see?
- Ben. / - Gosh.
Ben!
Look, William.
(Do you love Ben that much?)
William.
Look at Ben.
Ben is eating.
Do you want to do it?
William, did you feed your brother?
Thank you.
Bentley is loved by his brother too.
We hope you grow up healthy.
(We hope that you grow up big and healthy.)
(It's an oriental medical clinic.)
(Why are Jiyong and Seungjae here?)
Why are you here?
Why are you here?
Are you getting a shot?
No. My dad is sick.
It's because my dad is sick.
Seungjae, I'm not feeling well these days.
It hurts right here.
(He has chest pains?)
- It won't be serious, right? / - No.
It won't be serious.
(Scurry)
(He's helping his dad relax.)
(Dad, don't be sick.)
(You're the best.)
Yes.
Hello.
(A non-Korean oriental medicine doctor?)
(Am I at the wrong place?)
Come in.
- Hello. / - Hello.
Hi.
Hello. What is your name?
I'm Ko Seungjae.
- Seungjae? / - Yes.
You're so cute.
- My dad is sick. / - Is he?
Where does it hurt?
His chest hurts.
His chest hurts? I wonder why.
Because he let me ride on the blanket bus.
Is that it?
(It's not your fault, Seungjae.)
Is there something bothering you?
My chest feels heavy.
My hands and feet are cold,
but I can feel the heat on my face.
What about a headache?
My headache isn't bad.
I feel a tension in here
and there's heat. It's uncomfortable.
How long has it been?
I think
about a year or so.
Why did you see a different doctor?
People say you shouldn't learn
how to drive from your partner.
To be honest,
I thought my wife would be heartbroken
(He didn't want his wife to be hurt.)
if she heard about it.
(That's how he endured the pain for a year.)
(He's checking Jiyong's pulse.)
Are you tired these days?
- Yes. / - Your pulse is weak.
You can't digest well either.
You're under a lot of stress.
- Do you drink? / - Yes. I drink often.
Often?
I'll try pressing here. If it hurts...
- Does it hurt? / - Yes.
(Worried)
If it hurts, that means you have a lot of stress.
Okay.
(He transformed into an old lady for tests.)
Look into the camera.
(However, they cannot laugh.)
What will be the result?
Your hands are blue.
Compared to that, your chest
- and your neck are red. / - Right.
(You can see the temperature differences.)
You have a lot of heat built up here.
This means you have bad circulation.
Overall,
it's due to repressed anger and stress.
It's due to repressed anger and stress.
Okay.
Has it ever occurred to you?
(Now that I think about it...)
I think you're right.
Yes?
Doctor, what is that?
Your dad feels very stressed.
Why do you think he's stressed?
That has got to be the cigarettes.
(Embarrassed)
If you hold it in for too long,
your heart causes a lot of heat.
It comes from rage.
It's stress.
If it gets serious,
it could grow into a panic disorder.
I think he's right. It's stress.
If work doesn't go as planned
or if something bad happens
or if I fail to meet my goals...
It's endless.
There is a way to get rid of it at once.
How?
(Tempting)
Okay.
(Laughing)
(What is this?)
(Jiyong is laughing at Seungjae's reaction.)
If you laugh loudly on purpose,
it causes changes in your brain to release endorphin.
It helps to get rid of your stress.
Let's try again.
(Laughing)
(Laughing)
(Peeking)
(Laughing)
(They're bursting into laughter.)
(We're happy.)
(Is it over yet?)
(It's not over until it's over.)
(The key is to do it for 30 seconds.)
(The fake laughter became a real laugh.)
Good job.
You're so funny when you laugh.
Was it funny?
Doctor,
is my dad all better now?
He still needs some treatment.
- It hurts here? / - Yes.
I'll perform phlebotomy.
Okay.
Please don't hurt him.
Since he's sick, we have to treat him.
One, two, three.
(Cupping)
It would be uncomfortable to have this.
Yes. It's uncomfortable.
He's bleeding a lot.
(Worried)
I'll do some acupuncture.
Push, push, push.
He has a needle now.
- Dad. / - Yes?
(Grabbing)
(Seungjae is holding his dad's hand.)
- Take it out. / - Take it out? Why?
You have to so my dad doesn't hurt.
I'm being treated.
You have to take it out since he's done.
I'll leave it just a little longer.
- I'll come back. / - Okay.
(Serious)
(Blowing)
- Seungjae. / - Yes?
Go get yourself something from the store.
- I'll join you soon. / - Okay.
- Get your treatment. / - Bye.
He just left.
(Snacks over Dad)
Where is it?
Where is the convenience store?
You have to go out that way,
- then turn right. / - Okay.
There is the convenience store.
(Eureka!)
(I'll pick you for today!)
This one.
Here you go.
Thank you.
(I'll sit down to eat.)
Hello.
What is this?
I'm eating.
What is this?
It's a gimbap. It's rice.
- It's rice? / - What's your name?
- I'm Ko Seungjae. / - Seungjae?
(Struggling)
- It's not opening. / - Do you want my help?
- Yes. / - Okay.
- You're so strong. / - Am I?
Thank you.
(Eating)
(Peeking)
(Staring)
How old are you?
I'm 32.
- How old are you? / - I'm four.
- Four? / - Yes.
- Are you in kindergarten? / - Yes.
- Is it fun? / - Where do you go?
I go to work.
(A meeting between a 4-year-old and a 32-year-old)
(He's eating so well.)
- Is it good? / - Yes.
Can I have a chip?
(My precious chip?)
(Joking)
You still have ramyeon left.
I finished it.
There is still some left.
I have to go now. Bye.
Goodbye.
(He's eating jelly to feel less lonely.)
(When will Dad come?)
Hey.
- What are you doing? / - I was eating.
(Jiyong has finished his treatment.)
Seungjae, the change.
The change.
- I don't have change. / - Why not?
- I bought porridge. / - What?
- Your porridge. / - Porridge?
Dad's porridge.
- Where is porridge? / - Porridge?
Come here.
- This one. / - Which one? This one?
- What kind is it? / - Vegetable porridge.
- Are you going to eat it? / - No, Dad will.
- Is it for your dad? / - Yes.
Seungjae prepared porridge for his dad.
Where did his porridge go?
It's right here.
What is it?
- Dad. Yes. / - Did you heat it?
You should put this on your porridge.
- Why did you buy it? / - It's for you.
I'll put this on your porridge.
(Just stay seated.)
(I'll cool it for you.)
(Jiyong became a baby bird.)
It tastes even better since you made it.
He bought me porridge
and fed me because I was sick.
He makes me smile.
(Please get well soon.)
The three children look very busy.
(What are you doing?)
What are you guys doing?
What is all that on the floor?
(No way. Is that...)
(Blowing)
(Blowing)
(Blowing)
(She's dusting off the styrofoam.)
(Wriggling)
(She's loading and firing.)
(She's Elsa.)
(I'm Princess Seola.)
(Let it go, let it go!)
(He's a great singer.)
Dad!
Donggook, this is no time for you to sleep.
(Their dad is fast asleep.)
(I'll put some snow on his head.)
- It's snowing. / - What?
(He woke up thanks to the kids.)
What were you doing?
We were playing snow.
Sua, what's that on your head?
- It's nothing. / - Snow?
(That's suspicious.)
(Don't be surprised.)
(He's speechless.)
(Making artificial snow is hard work.)
(Sighing)
(Speechless)
(She's still in the making.)
- Did it snow? / - Yes.
(It's snowing in my heart.)
Look at your hair. What do we do?
Look outside. Is it snowing or not?
- It's not snowing. / - What?
(It's snowing a lot in Seola's heart.)
You can't ride sleds if it's not snowing.
There's snow here.
Well, yes.
Who will clean up?
- We shouldn't clean up. / - What?
Why would we clean up snow?
I'm not even surprised anymore.
Kids. Hold on. Stop.
Stop. Sit here. Sit here.
Sit down, everyone.
- I will sit. / - Okay.
Snow is nice, but who will clean this?
- Dad. / - No.
You can't make a mess and have someone else clean.
You have to clean together.
Also, you can't do this indoors.
We'll clean together, okay?
- Okay. / - Okay?
Did you like having snow inside the house?
Do you know Yuna?
- Yes. / - What does she do?
- She... / - When it snows a lot...
This.
(She's the best jumper there is.)
- She has Sua's hair. / - Yes.
Look in the mirror. Try again.
(Her turns are flawless.)
Yes, use that glare.
Sua, you're good.
(Are you watching, Yuna?)
There is this too.
There is this too.
- What is that? / - There is this too.
Yuna did that?
- She wouldn't do that. / - She did.
The Winter Olympics are coming.
I was chosen to participate
in the sacred torch relay. I'm honored.
(Donggook will represent Jeonbuk.)
(Torch kiss)
Let's go, Pyeongchang!
(Let's go, Winter Olympics!)
I wanted to make a promotional video
to support the Olympics.

When is Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2018? and Who was Martin Luther King Jr.? - Duration: 1:55.
When is Martin Luther King Jr.
Day 2018?
Martin Luther King Jr.
Day 2018 is an American federal holiday.
King was born in Atlanta on January 15 - and the holiday falls on the nearest Monday to
this date.
Several cities and states began to mark the day in 1971, just three years after his death,
and the date became an American federal holiday in 1986.
Hundreds of streets in the United States have been renamed in King's honour, as well as
a whole county in Washington State.
Who was Martin Luther King Jr.? King was born in 1929 and became a Baptist
minister and activist, who led a movement of nonviolent civil disobedience.
He led the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955, where people took a stand against racial segregation
by refusing to surrender their seats to white people.
The campaign lasted for a year, and was sparked by the arrest of Rosa Parks - who refused
to give up her seat.
King organised several nonviolent protests and marches in the following decade.
He helped to organise the 1963 March on Washington, where King delivered his famous 'I Have a
Dream speech' and earned his reputation as one of he greatest public speakers in American
history.
More of King's famous quotes include 'injustice is a threat to justice everywhere', and 'our
lives begin to end the day we become silent on the things that matter'.
In 1964, King received a Nobel Peace Prize for his nonviolent fight against racial inequality.

Liverpool 4-3 Man City: Reds pummel league leaders to end City's unbeaten run
Liverpool produced a stunning display to end Man City's long unbeaten run in the Premier League, sealing a 4-3 victory at Anfield on Sunday.
On the back of a 17-game unbeaten run, the Reds faced their biggest challenge since their 4-1 humbling at Tottenham back in October.
With champions-elect City travelling to Anfield looking to continue their near-pristine league campaign, Liverpool were tasked with becoming the first side to defeat them on the domestic stage this term.
Pep Guardiola's side had dropped points on just two of 22 occasions heading into Sunday's clash, with draws against Everton and Crystal Palace coming four months apart.
Having lost Philippe Coutinho, Liverpool were primed for a real test of their credentials with Jurgen Klopp also without the injured Virgil van Dijk.
Eager to prove they can continue their ascent without their No. 10, the Reds took to the field looking for a statement victory, and they certainly delivered.
Van Dijk sidelined while Klopp sticks with Karius as No. 1 Oxlade-Chamberlain opens scoring with blistering long-range effort Sane capitalises on Gomez error to score excellent equaliser Firmino, Mane and Salah take control with goals in quick succession Silva and Gundogan strike late but Reds hold on for victory.
Liverpool took the fight to City in the opening stages, with a swift interchange between Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah seeing the top scorer have an early shot blocked.
The hosts had their goal before the 10-minute mark, though, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain picking the ball up from Firmino and driving forward to hit a low, long-range effort past Ederson to make it 1-0.
With Anfield roaring them on, the Reds kept up the pressure following their opener, though Sergio Aguero was within inches of an equaliser at the other end on 20 minutes.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was in fighting form throughout, and the ex-Arsenalmidfielder almost teed up Firmino for a near-post header after muscling early substitute Danilo off the ball on the right.
But the Reds were pegged back just before half-time, with Loris Karius—preferred to Simon Mignolet as Klopp considers a changing of the guard—beaten at his near post by Leroy Sane.
Both sides kept up the intensity after the break, and City centre-back Nicolas Otamendi struck the bar in front of the Kop with a header from a corner.
At the other end City were left to rely on the heroics of Ederson to deny both Salah and Oxlade-Chamberlain, with Liverpool pushing hard to edge ahead for a second time.
The Brazilian could do nothing to stop Firmino's curling effort just before the hour, though, with Liverpool's No.
9 shrugging off John Stones after Oxlade-Chamberlain's through pass and lifting the ball over his compatriot to make it 2-1.
And after hitting the post with a scorching effort directly after, Mane gave the Reds a two-goal lead with a powerful strike into the top corner as City began to fall apart.
Then with Ederson shanking a clearance into the path of Salah after rushing out, the goalkeeper could do nothing but watch as the Egyptian lifted a 35-yard shot over him and into the net.
Liverpool were allowed to enjoy themselves after that eight-minute flurry, and though Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan reduced the deficit late on Klopp's side were able to hold on for an incredible win.

Rab Mythic 200 / 400 / 600 Sleeping Bags | Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports - Duration: 3:51.
With Mythic we think we've really taken a step ahead compared to the other
things that are available so far
it's been quite a challenging project because we
basically had to start again from the first principles
whether it was fabric selection, the down selection
and then designing the product so that it was the most efficient design possible
in some cases what we've done there
without giving away too many trade secrets we've basically reformatted the way that you
construct down chambers and the way you balance the correct amount of down in each
area and so it was quite a challenging project although it's based on stuff we
do anyway it's just taking it all up to the next level.
so all our sleeping bags are hand filled here in Derbyshire. We've got a really talented
team of guys some of whom have been working here for decades and they know
exactly how to put together the very best sleeping bags
and what you'll see is that each chamber each tiny section of the bag has its own fill weight chart
and each section of down is meticulously weighed out and then pumped
into each chamber bit by bit
you'll see with Mythic that the chamber shape is like a chevron and we arrived at that design through a process
of trial and error and we think that having that shape means that the down is
better controlled within each chamber both this way and this way
that means we can use the optimum amount of down without overloading each chamber so you
get the lightest possible weight and the maximum warmth
the outer fabric is a Pertex fabric it's in the quantum series but it's
exceptionally light! it's the only seven denier they do
and denier is the amount of fibers that go into the yarns
and they are super light it comes down to about 21 grams a square meter
and seven denier is about as light as is possible to go and still have robustness and strength
the other thing about ultralight gear is that often people
will take out features that you actually need in order to save weight and we've
made sure we don't if for example the shoulder baffle inside the bag which is
essential in our view for trapping and warmth when you're sleeping cold and
that will tighten up around the neck inside the bag and we've done
something different there which is an ergonomic shape so it falls to the same
shape as the back of your neck and around the front so it fits perfectly
when it's adjusted tight to keep you warm
so I think the thing that's important about Mythic is that if you look about the history of Rab
Rab Carrington started by making sleeping bags and we're kind of proud to carry on
with that thing that started
this whole brand and sleeping bags remain at the heart of what we do and
Mythic it really for us is a good example of where the future lies
you
