New data suggest big cuts to tariffs on trade between South Korea and the United States

would mean billions of dollars in savings for consumers in both countries.

According to a report released Monday by the Korea Economic Research Institute, consumers

in South Korea over the next ten years could save up to 3 billion dollars... and in the

U.S. 5-point-3 billion -- if the two countries agreed to completely abolish tariffs on goods

in the primary and manufacturing industries.

A researcher from the institute said the study shows that without those tariffs, consumers

would benefit from a rise in productivity.

The data also shows that average real wage rates in the two countries would rise.

The U.S. workers would see a gain of almost 4-one-hundredths of a percent... while Korea...

workers would see a rise of almost 4 tenths of a percent.

Diplomatic efforts for talks with N. Korea should be backed by ironclad alliance: U.S. senator - Duration: 1:26.

So far, it would seem talks between the two Koreas are limited to the Olympics.

But a U.S. senator visiting South Korea says dialogue between Seoul and Pyongyang should

be backed by a strong South Korea-U.S. alliance,... and the ultimate objective has to be denuclearization.

Senator Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat, met with the chairman of South Korea's Joint Chiefs

of Staff, Jeong Kyeong-doo, this morning.

Here she is speaking to reporters.

(English) " I think it is important to allow diplomatic

talks to continue, but those talks cannot be successful if there's not a strong ironclad

alliance between our two militaries, one that has been there for decades.

I think that whatever we can do to continue talks, as long as it is clear those talks

include a denuclearized peninsula, is important."

She added that it's a positive sign... that North Korean athletes are participating in

2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

In the meeting this morning, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs told her and a congressman

traveling with her, Democrat Ruben Gallego,... that the peaceful hosting of the Olympics

and a lowering of regional tensions will contribute to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula...

and help bring peace and stability to the region.

Both sides reaffirmed the two countries' ironclad alliance and firm military posture.

how it will affect inter-Korea relations,...

Dr. Bong Young-shik, a researcher at the Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies,... joins

us in the studio today.

Pleasure to be here.

1- Now this meeting was scheduled way before North Korea played the dialogue card for the

new year... so tell us more about this meeting and which countries are participating,...

as well as... why it's being held.

2- But then how effective will this meeting be,... considering

that the two Koreas have already met and talked about various inter-Korean issues... including

the North participating in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics?

3- China and Russia meanwhile are not expected to take part in this meeting.

Why so?

4- Critics have said that if China and Russia..., considered two of North Korea's most influential

and important neighbors,... are not present, the meeting itself won't really help much

in tackling issues surrounding the North's nuclear program.

5 - What kind of responses can we expect from other countries at the meeting then?

6- Now South and North Korea are holding working-level talks today at Tongil-gak,... on the prospects

of Pyongyang sending its performance art group to the Winter Olympics.

interdict vessels suspected of violating sanctions on North Korea.

U.S. President Donald Trump did say earlier this month that the U.S. would be willing

to talk with North Korea under the right circumstances.

'Vancouver summit' to open on Tuesday... but absence of China and Russia felt - Duration: 2:47.

South Korea's foreign minister, Kang Kyung-wha, will set off to Canada later today,.... to

attend a high-level international meeting on the situation with North Korea.

But there are questions over the meeting's credibility.... as China and Russia... countries

considered key players in any long-term solution regarding North Korea..., will be absent.

And before we sit down with an expert to talk more about this... here's our Kwon Jang-ho

with a brief look at what we can expect from the Vancouver meeting.

The inaugural Vancouver Foreign Ministers' Meeting on Security and Stability on the Korean

Peninsula will open on Tuesday.

Co-hosted by the U.S. and Canada, it looks to extend the international effort to find

a peaceful resolution to the North Korea nuclear situation.

Those invited are being called the 'Vancouver Group', and will include most nations that

fought in the Korean war under the UN flag, such as the UK, France and Turkey, as well

as South Korea, and other interested parties, like India, Japan and Sweden.

However, notable absentees from the list include China, Russia and North Korea.

It's unclear whether they were formally invited or not, but their absence has caused some

to question the effectiveness and purpose of the meeting.

Beijing has criticized the gathering, saying that without all the major relevant parties

involved, the meeting would not help the situation on the Korean peninsula, and only create further

divisions in the international community on the issue.

The main outcome of the summit could be an agreement to push for further pressure on

the regime, especially to try and disrupt ships transporting illicit oil supplies to

the regime at sea.

However, the mood of the meeting has changed since the meeting was first announced in December.

Tensions on the Korean peninsula have dropped after North Korea reopened dialogue with the

South for the first time in two years to try and take part in the 2018 PyeongChang Winter

Olympics next month, and the calls for an immediate hardline stance on the regime have

also softened with it.

Aside from the main gathering, like other international events of this kind, the summit

also offers the opportunity for sideline meetings to take place between individual countries.

A trilateral South Korea-U.S.-Japan meeting has been touted, as well as a separate South

Korea-U.S. meeting.

But perhaps the most highly anticipated will be the potential Seoul foreign minister's

meeting with her Tokyo counterpart.

South Korea-Japan relations have soured again in recent weeks, after the Moon administration

condemned the controversial 2015 Seoul-Tokyo agreement on the issue of Japanese wartime

sex slavery.

While Seoul did not ask for a renegotiation, it has called on Tokyo to offer a 'sincere

apology' to the victims.

Tokyo has argued that the agreement was an apology, and that Seoul cannot simply ignore

it.

It's not clear what could come from the meeting, but it promises to be a highly charged affair.

5 talking points from Liverpool 4–3 Man City - Oxlade-Chamberlain inspires Klopp's united Reds

Liverpool inflicted Man City's first Premier League defeat of the season with a superb performance and 4-3 win in a simply sensational game of football.

United Reds Rise to the Occasion.

There was slight concern as to how Liverpool would react to losing talismanic figure Philippe Coutinho, but an incredible team effort well and truly eased those concerns as the Reds begin to march on.

From back to front Jurgen Klopp's side dug in and went toe-to-toe with the champions-in-waiting, winning individual battles all over the pitch and showing the exact unity Kopites craved after all that has gone on.

Emre Can set the tempo along with the excellent Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, but the selfless work of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in defensive duties and the incredible one-man press from Andy Robertson in the second half showed the spirit in this group, and why Coutinho was allowed to go.

The blistering attacking play was also still very much alive and kicking, with the Reds' counters simply unstoppable.

It wasn't plain sailing—though it was never going to be against such an elite side—and almost throwing it away showed that there is still plenty to work on as we adapt going forward.

This is Klopp's Liverpool now though, full of 100-percent committed players, and it's a team that is certainly going places.

Oxlade-Chamberlain the Driving Force.

If ever a performance showed why Klopp was so convinced to pay the big bucks for Oxlade-Chamberlain, this display in the most anticipated fixture of the season was it.

The entire midfield unit impressed, with Can and Georginio Wijnaldum impressive too, but the summer signing shone with a sensational display as the driving force for victory.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's energy set the tempo for the Reds' aggressive off-ball work, and his raw speed and power drove Liverpool on to a monstrous win.

It was this, combined with his desire to make the difference that saw Oxlade-Chamberlain open the scoring with a superb individual strike, while it was his vision and excellent through pass that released Roberto Firmino to score a sublime second.

The goal and assist highlight how crucial Oxlade-Chamberlain was, but his overall display and understanding of his role was equally impressive.

His athleticism was absolutely crucial to breaking from midfield and also joining the press instigated by the front three, and it is this that makes him such a key component to Klopp's system.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's signing was met with doubts, but after this there is no such feeling anymore.

Less Gung-Ho, More Control.

All the focus ahead of this classic centred on how the Reds would reshape without Coutinho, both with regards to personnel and tactically.

Personnel-wise it was pretty much as expected, but it was tactical change that showed how Klopp's team will continue to grow.

We had all become accustomed to seeing the gung-ho football of the 'Fab Four', but without that possibility, a more controlled style of play—though not yet fully up and running—was adopted.

There was a clearer structure to the Reds' 4-3-3 off-ball shape, with the midfield unit staying narrow and compact as Salah and Mane worked tirelessly to fill in the wide spaces.

It was a big switch from the open 4-2-4 that, for all its attacking brilliance, could at times be easily bypassed and leave the back line far too exposed.

Meanwhile there was more patience in building attacks while fewer numbers were also committed forwards at times before exploding to life in the final third—which it was reassuring to see has been retained.

This style is likely to be continued going forward—especially if no creative midfield reinforcement arrives in January—and it certainly looks like the right one.

Karius Fails Klopp's Challenge.

Klopp made a couple of huge selection calls at Anfield, the biggest one coming in handing Loris Karius a start at the expense of the dropped Simon Mignolet.

Klopp laid down the challenge to the German to take full ownership of the No.

1 role that would be his for the foreseeable future providing he performed, but the incoming stopper failed that task.

Though a goal that was not totally his fault, Karius unquestionably should have done far better with Leroy Sane's first-half equaliser.

Yes, it was a ferocious strike, but there is no way Karius should be beaten at his near post from that angle, and his slow reaction in raising his hands to make a stop was disappointing.

While he could do little about the other goals, the 24-year-old conceded three from four shots on target and he simply doesn't inspire as a goalkeeper who will produce at big moments.

In fact he's proved he can't provide it.

Klopp's timing in making this change was questionable for such a big game, and it backfired which now leaves the boss with a huge headache over where to go next.

Into the transfer market for a new 'keeper would be advisable.

Top-Four Charge Has Lift-Off.

This was an absolutely monstrous win for so many reasons, but none more so than for the boost to our top-four chances and confidence going forward.

The belief such a victory will give to the squad will be limitless, and should give every confidence to the team that while players may go, the progression willcontinue.

Upcoming league games against Swansea and Huddersfield, either side of a FA Cup clash with West Brom, give us a real chance to back up this fine victory with more successes to build real momentum in the charge for second place.

It's an opportunity Liverpool have to take as this statement result must absolutely not be wasted by sloppy showings in routine fixtures.

Three victories across the competitions would set us up perfectly for the next big test that comes against Tottenham at Anfield in February.

Parasites and house cleaners, eew.

Yeah, we're going to talk about that today.

Hi there.

I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

All right, onto today's show, which is about parasites.

Now, it's really freaky when we start talking about things that creep and crawl because

most house cleaners, most people are freaked out by this kind of stuff.

Now, parasites are not anything to be afraid of because all of us have parasites.

If you eat food, you have parasites.

Parasites are found on the fresh vegetables and fruits that we eat.

It's embedded in the meat and the proteins that we eat.

If you have chicken for example even if it's organic chicken, the chicken has been outside

in the dirt eating little bugs and things and as a result of that it has consumed parasites.

Even though the chicken is dead and it's cooked the parasites live on and then as we eat the

meat it transfers into our body.

They're microscopic organisms that crawl on the inside of us and they make us itch and

stuff like that.

Sometimes, when you have parasites you all mistaken that for allergies.

All right so it's interesting I got a question from a house cleaner who says,

"I'm allergic to everything. I itch all the time."

She's used lotions and all different kinds of potions, powders and pills to try to get

rid of the itching.

The reality is it might be something as simple as parasites.

As house cleaners, we wear gloves to protect ourselves from parasites but you know they

can get underneath your fingernails if you don't wear gloves.

It's common like if you're outside gardening and you're out with the dirt or you're planting

things or you're pulling weeds that parasites can get underneath your fingernails and they

go inside your bloodstream in your body and they eat what you eat.

They're very fond of sugar and yeast products.

For example, you eat a lot of bakery items like bread and toast and pizza crust and pies

and doughnuts and things like that, that's what they feed off of.

They love that kind of stuff.

The more sugar and yeast products you consume, the more they multiply and replenish themselves

inside your body.

As humans, we are hosts to parasites.

I know this is such a weird topic and what does that have to do with house cleaning but

lots of pets also have parasites.

If you're in other people's homes with lots of pets and the pets are all over the house,

you can pick them up literally from anywhere.

Like I said, it's nothing to be afraid of but with pets, we have deworming products

that we use on our pets but as people we don't really have a deworming program.

There are deworming programs for people and you should know about it.

It's weird in house cleaning we haven't talked about this till now

but it just hasn't come up.

It's a gross topic and I'm not licensed to say, "Hey take this, that or the other," but

I will share with you what I have been taking for the last couple of years anyway until

I became really aware of parasites and the effect that they can have on your body.

I've had allergies for years and I just thought I was sneezing.

My eyes were watery and itching because of that but when I understood a little bit about

the parasitic nature of us being hosts as humans.

I went on a parasitic cleanse and you can too.

There's a program that I use that's from Vitacost.

Vitacost is an online website that has lots of vitamins and stuff that are over the counter,

you don't need a prescription for it and it costs about $60 in order to do the whole parasitic

cleanse for a human.

Part of the parasitic cleanse is they have what are just cloves, natural 100% cloves

but apparently the parasites in your body do not like cloves.

Cloves is one of the elements of the parasitic cleanse.

Another one that they have is a wormwood combination and there's a whole bunch of different stuff

in here that parasites don't like and they repel that and so it kills them off.

Another one is black walnut hull, again it's over the counter.

It's 100% natural.

There are no side effects but you take these in a certain combination that is explained

on that website.

Garlic is another one of those things that parasites repel and they don't like.

Garlic smells bad but this is an odorless garlic so with that combination of those things

and then in order to maintain the parasitic cleanse

you want to cut sugar out of your diet.

I know you're going to hate me for this because Americans love sugar.

It's in most of our foods.

It's in a lot of processed foods.

It's in a lot of our syrups.

It's in a lot of our ketchups and our relishes and all the different things that we enjoy

but if you'll start cutting back on those, you'll start cutting out the sweets and you'll

start cutting out on the gluten products that have the yeast in them your body will rebound

and it'll start to repair itself.

Our bodies are amazing instruments and so as you start removing and repairing your body,

your body's like, "Oh, this is a new me."

Your energy will bounce back and what you thought were allergies will go away and your

immune system will rebuild itself.

Now, as a house cleaner this is really important because you are your business.

You are your company's biggest asset and so something as simple as a parasite cleanse

and I do one about every six months just to keep my system healthy and well so that I'm

not bogged down with brain fog and just confusion or exhaustion or lethargy or a lot of the

symptoms that are a direct result of parasites.

It's really interesting, there's a Dr. Oz video that I'm going to link to in the show

notes that goes into a little bit more depth in explaining and he's got a lot more credibility

on this stuff than I do.

I'm just a user of the products and I can speak first-hand about the difference it's

made in my personal life.

As a house cleaner I highly recommend a regular program for you.

Like I said, we use deworming products on our pets but as a person you're way more valuable

to your business than any pet and, so you too should have deworming, deparasitic program

so that you can regain your health and maintain your health so that you're healthy and well

to go out in other people's homes.
