Youtube daily Jul 23 2018

Hey, this is Kenny this local business google reviews online video demo created for businesses.

That's basically a demo of our software platform and show you exactly how it's going to be used on your end

And also what the customer is going to see after they you ask them for review

So first of all, I just want to say thank you for taking your time. I don't know. You're very busy

I know you have a lot going on. I'll make this as short as possible

And I also want to say too that this is by far the best way to get Google reviews

And I believe many people believe that you know, this local business google reviews online video software

I mean you look on Amazon you go to buy a pillow you go to buy a an iPhone case or whatever it is

You're looking at the reviews everybody is and and you know, your industry is exactly the same

So if you don't have reviews or god forbid you have bad reviews, then you need to fix that immediately

so this is not only a way to fix bad reviews, but it's also a way to

Get you out of the pack. So if everyone in your industry has four or five reviews or you know

Whatever you can stand out from everybody else very very quickly

You're gonna see how that's done here in this video and also you should know this already

This is completely free for 30-days so and give it a shot. See what it does for you

And if it works it works if it doesn't that's okay, too. I mean we part as friends and that's it

But there's absolutely no reason why you can't give it a shot and see how it goes for you

So this is what you're gonna see on your end and you're gonna put in the customers email right here and the customers phone number

And I'm gonna do that here and just show you a quick demo

Some of this is gonna be blurred out because it's my personal information

But I'm gonna actually show this to you on my phone here in a second

So that's really the only two pieces of information you need. You can put the name in there as well

I'll actually put my name in there, too

Okay, there we go. So we have our name our email and our phone number

And then we're just gonna click send feedback request

Okay, once you do that you're done that's all you need to do

Okay, so now what's gonna happen is the customer is going to actually get a text message from us

Telling them to leave you a review and I'm gonna hop on my phone here

I'm gonna pause the video for one second and I'm gonna hop over onto my phone and show you exactly how that looks

Okay

So this is one of our clients here the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Arizona

And this is actually what its gonna look like when your customer leaves, you know is is inputted into the system

So they're gonna get this and then what they're gonna do is they're gonna click on the link inside of their text message

And it's gonna lead them right to this page

now some of this stuff I'm gonna have to cut out and kind of paste it together for you because again my phone numbers my

Personal cell phone number and my personal email is on there

So I'm gonna have to cut some of it out but this is basically what it's gonna look like

Your logo is gonna be up here up top and then it's gonna say a pleasant Valley Country Club

Obviously obviously to say your business we'd like to hear about your experience with us

Please complete the form below. Thank you. Okay. So after they do that, they're gonna scroll down just a little bit like that

So we'll say how would you rate the service will be excellent

Then we'll choose definitely will refer a friend and then we'll say it was a great

Time I'm not gonna actually leave this review. I'm just gonna show you take you through the process here, but

Great time just like that. Okay. Now here's another great feature to our

local business google reviews online video demo created for businesses.

If a customer leaves anything below a four-star review, it doesn't go to Google

So if I were to select three stars like that two stars or one star, it's not going to take me to Google

It's gonna take me to a customer support survey

That you're going to have access to so if I leave a one-star review that you know

If your customer leaves one star review on Google, that's a big deal

That's a problem right and takes a lot of time to recover from that

So you want to avoid that as much as possible this process this this program here takes all that away

So once they come here if they leave a one-star view and click on last step

I'm not gonna do that because I want to take you through the whole process

But if they do that

They're gonna get led to a customer support survey that then you can go back and touch that customer again and say hey

What was the problem?

How can we fix it for you or whatever you want to do?

but if they leave a four or a five star review, they're gonna click on last step continue like that and

They're gonna get led to this page that says now, please leave us a Google review

Ok

they click on this button and

It leads them directly to the page where they can leave you a Google review and you could see on the screen there

it's obviously working very very well for

Pleasant Valley Country Club, so you see here

it's gonna lead me right to where I can leave the review so it's gonna be 5 stars and I'm just gonna say

Great time

wood

Terrible spelling by the way wreck

Man to friend boom just like that now when I am done I could just hit post now

I'm not gonna do this because I never went there and that you know

I'm not gonna leave a review for them because that's just not the right thing to do

I mean, I'm not a customer of theirs, right so I'm not gonna do it. But if you would hit the post

Button up here

Your customer would hit the post button and then that would go right to your Google

Review page and it would be posted right on the internet for you. So that's basically how it works

It's a very very very simple process. It works extremely well and again, you know, the last thing I'll say is

It is free for 30-days

And you're gonna get a ton of reviews in those two in that 30 day period of time we can have it set up in

Under 24 hours for you

It's a simple link that you put on your computer and your in your in your work space or your office or your cashier or?

Wherever you want to put it and you know, basically information from the customer and they leave reviews for you

And again, the only the four and five-star reviews get actually posted online, which is beautiful. That's really what you want

So if you're looking to separate yourself from the pack

If you're looking to repair

reputation that might have been damaged in the past or if you're looking to just get a step up on your competition which all of

You you know, everyone should be looking for these days, right? This is something that you definitely need to try

It's 3 for 30 free for 30 days. There's absolutely nothing for you to lose. There's no risk to you whatsoever

Give it a shot if it works for you awesome, if it doesn't work for you, we part as friends

No big deal, no harm done. End this local business google reviews online video demo.

Trump Blasts Release Of Michael Cohen Tapes – But HE Approved It! - Duration: 5:35.

There's a lot more to the Michael Cohen tapes story than Donald Trump wants Americans to

know.

On Saturday morning, the day after it was released that Michael Cohen had these tapes,

and it was Trump and Cohen talking about the payoff to Karen McDougal for the affair she

had with Donald Trump, Trump tweeted out this.

"Inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer's office early in the morning,

almost unheard of.

Even more inconceivable," this is the important part, "that a lawyer would tape a client,

totally unheard of and perhaps illegal."

He goes on to say, "Good news is your favorite president did nothing wrong."

Unfortunately, he's nobody's favorite president.

Nonetheless, he said that it was unheard of for a lawyer to do this, and it was perhaps

illegal.

Well, earlier today, we already talked about the legality of it, which yeah, it's totally,

100% legal.

But to say that it's unheard of, that is an absolute lie, not just the practice of doing

it, but that you, Mr. Trump, didn't know that these tapes existed, because here's the thing.

Your idiot lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, already confirmed that it was you, you personally,

that waived the privilege protection on these particular tapes, which therefore allowed

them to be given to the prosecution and revealed to the public.

Donald Trump is doing one of two things here.

One, he's either showing that he's got full-blown dementia and doesn't remember waiving privilege

on these particular tapes, or two, he released them and agreed to waive privilege only so

that he could later on when they came out play the victim and try to get a little sympathy

from his base, and try to go ahead and discredit them before the public could learn what was

on them.

Personally, I think it's the latter, although I do think there is a little bit of dementia

in Donald Trump's brain right now.

But I think he played this exactly how he wanted to play it.

Again, Rudy Giuliani confirmed over the weekend that those tapes were originally marked privileged.

The prosecution couldn't get them.

They couldn't go to the public, nothing.

The defense had them.

Then Trump came along and said, "No, I don't want privilege on these particular tapes,"

which therefore allowed them to go to the prosecution and the public.

It was Trump himself that did that according to Trump's own lawyer.

So no, nobody's buying your fake outrage here except for maybe your hardcore supporters,

but again, that was your plan all along, wasn't it?

You wanted people to feel sorry for you, to feel like a crime had been committed against

you.

You wanted to play the victim so that people would focus more on the potential illegality

of it rather than the content of those tapes.

That is what's important.

Here's what the tapes are.

It has Donald Trump and Michael Cohen talking about the payoff or potential payout to Karen

McDougal, a former Playboy Playmate who had an affair with Donald Trump.

This happened, I think, like two months before the election.

Donald Trump was on tape saying, "Oh, we should pay her by check if we pay her," but Giuliani

says, "Don't worry.

No payment ever happened."

Yeah, that's also not true, because we learned earlier this year that Michael Cohen did make

a payment to Karen McDougal.

It's just at the time we were told it was because of a payoff from Elliott Broidy.

It wasn't for Trump.

No, no, no, Broidy.

That big, fat idiot was the man who had an affair with this woman, not Donald Trump.

Well, this new revelation throws that entire story out the window, because if Michael Cohen

made a payment to McDougal and Trump had previously talked to Cohen about making a payment to

McDougal for the affair that he had with her, I don't think Elliott Broidy is the one who

slept with this woman.

I don't think that he and Donald Trump were out there sharing the same women.

That just doesn't seem right, does it?

Nonetheless, the payment happened.

Trump is on tape saying it happened.

Yeah, Republicans are saying, "Does it matter?

It wasn't campaign funds, and that's what this is all about."

Oh, you poor simple fools.

That's never been what this is about.

If only you people took five seconds to learn the smallest thing about campaign finance

laws, it's not that he used campaign money.

It's that any kind of payoff is seen as an in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign.

Any money spent to prevent damage to a campaign or to elevate the campaign is considered an

in-kind campaign contribution.

The payment to McDougal of over a million dollars well exceeded the legal limit, so

yeah, if Trump made the payment or Cohen made it on behalf of Trump, it's illegal.

But Trump knew about it from day one.

He knew the tape existed.

He knew he talked to Cohen about it.

He knew the payment had been made, and yet here he is on Twitter saying that this is

unbelievable and it came as a shock to him.

Would the public please feel sorry for me, because once again I'm the victim of a horrible

witch hunt, that for the record seems to be catching quite a few witches?

Wheat Penny Harvest - Coin Roll Hunting Pennies! - Duration: 14:48.

we've got ourselves another penny box to hunt today

Hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure and you know what I'm gonna stick with

some pennies as well for a little bit I've been having some pretty good

fortune lately found a 1909 a 1919 D a 1925 a 1912 D we've been finding some

pretty good coins lately just not a lot of wheat cents - I've been getting less

than six in several of the last boxes but the finds I'm finding are good this

is another box from another Chase Bank that I don't hunt too often jammed in

there grabbed a box popped it open saw that it was circulated for the most part

as always I'll loop you in if I find something worth showing so we'll see you

shortly roll number five gonna have our first

wheat penny of the box 1951 s we love those San Francisco mint marks it is a

fifty one but you know what it's an S look at this 1959 that I pulled out of

the box so far as well really nice we're on roll number nine and I just laid them

out and one caught my eye and it happens to be a wheat cent looks like

it's been improperly cleaned or something 44 or colored or toned kind of an

odd looking cent there 1944 Philadelphia same roll guys got another weird colored

one might be another 44 nope 41 D not really liking these colors though

because I think they've been tampered with but still a wheat penny

looks nice and that's two in the same roll roll 10 got our first foreign find

of the box looks like it's a Canadian 1989 we'll take it all right guys we're

on a roll number fourteen and I may have gotten someone's collection dump because

here's the weird thing let me show you this one first it's another one of those

odd colored wheat cents don't know if they were kept in a manila folder or

something or they've been plated or they've been toyed with

but they just look funny polish - who knows here's a 47 and it's got that

weird coloring and pretty worn as well and I put it next to the other two very

similar in color and as I was grabbing it I noticed another wheat cent and it

appears to be very similar in color and condition see that 45 s don't get me

wrong I like finding wheat cents I wish they were in regular worn condition I'm

thinking these were cleaned or polished or treated or something what are you

guys thoughts on those they just look odd to me if you look at all of they

look the exact same except for the 51 of course roll 15 we've got a

normal-looking wheat cent back that's a good sign 48 D know we're getting some

mint marks on these aren't we I'll take that all day that's already

six wheat cents in the first 15 rolls so I'm pretty happy so far roll 16 got

another Canadian here 2003 with some gunk on it pretty nasty

I'll wipe that off later same roll as the Canadian got another wheat penny here

this one's a 57 D regular toning all right seven wheat cents just picked up

roll 14 and moved the label aside because I saw a five and we've got a 1958 wheat

cent ender doesn't look that bad either all right here it is you know what looks

like just a beautiful 58

that's a nice wheat cent we'll take that it goes along with the 59 the 59 D and the

63 we found it's not as nice as they are but I'm putting it down here in the nice

finds let's see what else we find roll 25 guys and it looks like we have a

wheat cent here

mmm that's gonna be pretty tough to see

um I see a 19 it looks like a seven let's go on to the microscope with this

one

well it's damaged pretty good I think it could be man that's tough you guys

thoughts I really can't tell what that is it looks like it's either 1917 1927

and I think yeah I don't know man that's gonna be tough I don't know guys

you can clearly see a one nine and a seven it's been so scraped and damaged a

few different directions and if it was a three It'd be down here and it could be

a three I guess there was a two it wouldn't I don't think it looked like

that I don't think it's a five this Penny's

in too bad a shape worn too well to be 57

I mean I've looked at a lot of wheat cents I'm guessing 1917 no mint mark

it's worn as all can be it could just be damaged though - we'll never know what

it is for sure I don't think so I'm gonna go on a limb and just say 1917 I

didn't see any doubling on the 1 9 or 7 so it's not a 1917 double you can't tell

because it's been flattened I'm gonna call it a 1917 that's that's probably

fair based on its condition and the way it looks and whether it's in 1917 or

1927 or 1937 I don't think it's past a 37 but either way it's only worth in

this condition a penny or two anyway no matter

what year it was even if it was a 1917 they made almost 200 million of those so

either way though it's wheat cent number eight so we'll keep looking for better

ones roll 16 guys and 1944 we penny not that bad of condition it's another from

the 40s we'll break up this little crew we got going down here and that's wheat

cent number nine roll 28 wheat cent number 10 1950 Philadelphia nice double

digits already just over halfway through the box our records 23 could it

happen probably not but you know what it could roll number 36 another one of those

odd colored wheat cents here 52 D polish or something we'll take it though we're

not being that picky roll 37 found our third Canadian in the Box 1993 same

roll as the Canadian guys and a few coins later I see an old wheat penny and right

behind here I see another old wheat penny or at least worn really good let's

take a look at this first one

1919 s it's worn down but I'll take a 1919 s to go along with what I think's

in 1917 what's this other one

mmm could be better than I thought it is 1941 still it's another wheat cent

that's 2 in that roll that now makes 14 wheat cents in this box

including a couple of what I believe are teens one for sure we don't know roll 39

we're gonna have our 15th wheat cent guys and it's another beautiful one that

58 poppin man I don't want to touch it much longer we'll add it - you know we'll

add it to where it goes up here with the wheat cents that's 2 58's in almost

uncirculated condition unbelievable they'll be moved into my nice finds at

the end of the hunt but I'm trying to keep my wheat cents together

roll 41 guys and we're gonna have our 16th and 17th wheat cents I just laid him

out I noticed this 1940 it appears and as I perused up

I see another wheat cent over there so let's go ahead and start with this one

and sure that it's a 40 1940 Philadelphia definitely take that grab

this one right here probably in the 50s almost 48 so there is wheat cent 16 and

17 and since we had to in the roll might as well look at this 3 in the roll

and that's a 1912 Philadelphia that's our 13th wheat cent holy cow guys

wheat cent 18 can there be more I don't think so

I'll bring you back in if I find something else roll 42 guys and laid

them out and see if I can relocate it I think it's somewhere right here there it

is 19th wheat penny for sure

another 1950 we'll take it 19 wheat pennies so far four off my record we can do

it we can same roll guys and I probably should just leave you in for the rest of

this for roll just in case because look at the back of this wheat penny holy cow

another one of those beautiful 58's unbelievable 20 wheat cents while I got you

here we better take a look just in case I hate doing like this because I like to

go slow and find them as I hunt but you know what if we have another one

that'd be back-to-back three in a roll rolls I don't think so all right we'll

finish this roll up move on to the next one the last roll is gonna send us off

with the final wheat cent guys and it looks pretty toasty nice a 1930 D and

you know what it's not as toasty as I thought from long distance

I mean it's worn pretty good and it's got some discoloration but you know what

I'll take it crisp date clearly see the mint mark 1930 D 21 wheat pennies in

this box unbelievable off our record by two but one would argue with those

teens and these almost uncirculated 58 man will do a round-up in a second let me

finish up the hunt alright guys another box of pennies

hunted good box three pounds of copper I'll take that all day we ended up with

13 2009 s a lot of 'em are toasty but we're still pulling them out to check them to

see if we got any copper ones we got three Canadians right here I'll take

that all day two 1959's that we pulled up here because they're not in great shape

but in the good great shape coins we got a 1959 a 59 D and a 63

philadelphia as far as wheat penny's are concerned man 21 two 1950 Philadelphia's

a 52d a 51s guess we had those backwards and that annoys me sorry about that

a fifty seven D three beautiful 1958 Philadelphia's and to give you an

example of one of the backs once again guys I mean come on beautiful

put that down carefully in the 40s we got a 1940 Philadelphia 41

Philadelphia 41 Denver 44 Philadelphia another 44 Philadelphia a 45s a 47

Philadelphia 48 Philly and a 48 Denver and then the old ones look at this a

1912 Philadelphia is pretty toasty a 1917 I believe based on the wear and

the strike I'm almost certain it is a 1919 s and a 1930 D Wow unbelievable

second-best number of wheat pennies found in a box probably one of my best

overall boxes for finds hopefully you enjoyed this hunt with me guys I

thoroughly enjoyed it if you did I'd appreciate a thumbs up and as always

everyone happy hunting happy hunting and thanks for watching

A Health Coach On Holistically Managing Her Type 1 Diabetes | WellBe Inspiration, Episode #16 - Duration: 12:27.

My name is Lauren Bongiorno, I am from Long Island, New York

and I'm a type 1 diabetic.

When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes

which is an autoimmune disease.

This is basically when your body attacks itself.

It attacks your Islet cells which live in your pancreas

and your Islet cells are what produce insulin

that regulates your blood sugar levels.

You can think of it as a seesaw.

For anybody who doesn't have diabetes when you eat, your blood sugar goes up

and then your body secretes insulin to kind of bring it back down.

If somebody who does have diabetes when your pancreas doesn't work effectively,

your blood sugar will keep rising, rising, rising unless you take a shot or unless you have

an insulin pump to bring it back down to level.

For people with diabetes,

it's something that's a 24/7 job.

There's no days off. You can't just take a medicine,

just one shot a day and everything's going to be fine.

There's a lot of ups and downs, a lot of fluctuations

and so it can be challenging for,

especially people who were diagnosed when they were children

because children just want to eat whatever they want,

they want to play with their friends,

they want to have their own schedule and it's very not routine.

When I was diagnosed, I was a soccer player when I was younger. I did dance,

I kind of ate a very basic Italian diet.

There was never really a lot of focus on nutrition or,

anything of that matter.

My mom, when I was younger, she saw so many symptoms that something was wrong.

I was so thirsty, I was going to the bathroom like 10 times in the middle of the night,

I was really, really cranky

and I was losing weight like really crazy.

Those are very common symptoms of type 1 diabetes.

When I went to the hospital,

I remember just being fed sugar-free jello for like 7 days straight.

I was hooked up to IVs and they were trying to get my blood sugars under control.

Basically, for the diabetes care,

it's very standard in the system that when you have type 1 diabetes,

you'll go see a doctor, the endocrinologist, every 3 months.

At that three-month mark, what happens is you get an A1C check

and your A1C, you get your blood drawn and it gives you an average of almost

the past 3 months of how you do with your blood sugar.

It's like your blood sugar report card.

When you're younger, the doctors are okay with it being a little bit on the higher end

because you're a kid, you're a child, you're out of routine,

it's hard to tell children not to eat this,

not to eat that, to exercise, all of these things.

Basically, when you go to the doctors when you're first diagnosed,

they basically tell you, "You can eat whatever you want,

just give yourself a shot for your carbs.

You can have McDonalds and fries if you want.

Just make sure you give yourself insulin."

Maybe there's a little additional things in there like,

"Oh, you don't want to have things like cake and ice cream

but an apple is better," some things like that.

They do offer nutrition help as well, so they'll say, "Go see a nutritionist,"

but I was actually on the phone with my mom earlier and I was asking her,

I said, "Mom, I dont really remember because I was so young.

Did we see a nutritionist? Did they help you in any way?"

and she was like, "Don't get me started."

I was like, "Well, what happened?"

and she said when I went to the nutritionist,

she basically taught me how to count carbs and I was like, "Well, what did that entail?"

and she was like, "Well, they taught me how to read a label and that was about it."

What's so shocking about the system is that type 1 diabetes,

there are so many things just in the area of food

that can really be affecting your blood sugars.

For people like myself

who went through years of maybe having high blood sugar all night long and waking up 20 times

and not getting a good night's sleep and then going to take a final exam the next morning

and be at a disadvantage and all of those things,

if I would've known that, when you combine carbs and fat,

let's say you're having a slice of pizza at dinner time,

you have to treat that differently. You can't just say that's 35 carbs

because you have the fat involved there from the cheese.

That's going to extend the carbohydrate effect into the night

and you might not peak right when you have it but you might peak 4-6 later.

That's just one example, but there are so many different other things and other factors,

what to eat before a workout, what to eat afterwards.

You know, gluten for people who are type 1 diabetic is very closely related to Celiac

and so a lot of people with type 1 diabetes, even if you don't have Celiac,

have a slight reaction to an inflammatory state.

That's something that you should take into account too

and learning how to eat a little bit of gluten-free options

that are more focused on whole foods and just making you healthier all around.

That was one of the problems.

And then there's of course the problem of as you become a teenager

and your hormones are going a little bit crazy,

you're becoming more insulin-resistant,

so your insulin basically doesn't work as good and you need to use more.

Then there's the whole element of insulin is a fat-storing hormone,

so if you're using a lot of insulin per day, you could easily be putting on weight.

When I was in college, I

never learned these basic things about, really just like deep nutrition,

and understanding how these certain foods work for my body,

and really how to increase your insulin sensitivity,

and really how to make the insulin work in your favor.

Because for teen girls especially,

it can get really frustrating when, "Oh, I didn't realize that

that the more insulin that I used, the harder it would be to lose weight."

The struggles that I was having, I have now with the current system

that is set up where it's very basic, it's very archaic.

It's very... they hand you kind of a bunch of sheets that are so outdated and just say,

"Okay, here you go. Read them. Blue is for carbs.

Don't worry about whatever you eat. It's fine as long as you cover for it."

Exercise, sure you want to exercise but there's only plans that are in places.

There's no really strong recommendations

and the best control that I ever had in my life

was when I kind of took matters into my own hands

and I said,

"Wow, this is something that should be part of the health care system

because I'm seeing such great results."

For me, what things that started to help me the most was

I started yoga and it wasn't even for those reasons.

It was for a completely different reason but I noticed that

it helped extremely with stress

and when your body is stressed, your body is producing cortisol

and that increases your need for insulin and your blood sugar's going high

and so I realized, "Hey, yoga reduces your stress.

Look, I don't need to use as much insulin and my blood sugars aren't spiking

this day that I have this huge test," or whatever it could've been in college.

The yoga also helped a lot with self-acceptance and self-love,

because for people with type 1 diabetes, it can be very...

as much as it is a physical disease,

it can be a very hard mentally and emotionally,

thinking that you're different from others, just like any other disease.

I think yoga helped a lot with that and that's something that isn't talked a lot about

I guess in the health care system, specifically the type 1 diabetes.

And then another thing was just learning how to eat better

and learning how your blood sugars don't have to be so crazy

if you learn how to really properly pair foods and pair fats and carbs

and especially around your workouts

and kind of figure out what works best for your body and learn your own patterns.

The first week that you're diagnosed, they basically give you,

maybe first month a log sheet and they say,

"Log your blood sugars and they say log the time that you're eating.

Let's say that it's 3:00 p.m. and you're having, you know..."

and you're, I don't know, 120

and maybe there's a section for a tiny bit of notes like what you're eating

and what you're giving yourself for insulin.

And then past week, week and a half, month maybe tops,

for the rest of your life, you live with type 1 diabetes,

nobody really asks you to like log your blood sugars anymore.

What's so crazy to me about that is,

for myself, when I started writing down what my blood sugars were

just to kind of get in control a little bit and see what was going on on paper,

just the simple act of writing them down extremely improved

my type 1 diabetes management and my blood sugars.

That I think stemmed from yoga

and learning how to become more reflective and self-aware

and it kind of spilled over into my lifestyle, not just on the yoga mat.

When I started writing all these blood sugars down,

I was finding patterns. I was like, "Oh, when I eat this,

this is making me... you know, this happened,"

or "Oh, I had a really stressful day,"

or "Oh, hey, I had my period this week. Maybe that's why my blood sugars were so crazy."

I started finding these patterns all by myself

and when I would go back to the doctors in between, you know, the three-month mark,

I went back to the doctors, it was, "Okay, hi. How was... oh, I see..." they looked very,

like very loosely at your insulin usage and maybe just a couple of questions

and "Oh, why were you high on this date? Why were you low on this date?"

And normally, growing up for the past, let's say at this point 10 years prior to this,

like I didn't know. I'm like, "I don't know why I was high 3 weeks ago or 4 months ago.

I'm not really sure."

I had data, right. I had all this data saying,

"Oh, I know exactly what it was and I fixed the problem."

I was kind of fixing everything on my own

and every time I would go my A1C was lower, and lower, and lower

and I just realized, I think we're taught

or we're encouraged to rely on the health care system for our only source of support

and I think that of course, there's room for endocrinologists

and even diabetes educators to educate on pumps

and there's room for nutritionists for if somebody needs a strict plan

or guidance of how to count carbs or how to eat how much protein I need in a day

or things like that, but really, it's really important

that we take it into our own hands because we're with ourselves 24/7

and we sometimes blame the endocrinologist or blame this health care system

and say, "Well, my blood sugar is not great because they don't give me any support,"

or "My blood sugar is not great because they didn't tell me exactly the steps

that I need to take in between appointments."

Well, maybe that's not their job to some degree.

In a perfect world, maybe there should be more guidance

and there should be more tips and more nutrition knowledge, yes,

but at the end of the day, I really believe that we have to be our own advocates

because everybody is different and all of our patterns are different

and it's not something that can be with a handout and say,

"Okay, just follow this and you're good,"

because then we're thinking that okay, we have all the tools we need

and then we get frustrated because "Why are my blood sugars high?

Why are they low?" Well, no, no, no.

That's our fault for assuming that that one size fits all plan is going to fit me.

I find that a holistic approach,

looking at your stress levels, looking at how much you're cooking in,

what ingredients you're using,

how you're just feeling about your self-love

and your body and your acceptance and exercise, right,

and how your relationship with exercise and nutrition is, that's important as well.

I think all those elements should be part of...

part of type 1 diabetes management and really should be given when they're first diagnosed

and say, "Hey, there's a lot to this.

We don't have all the answers

but here's a lot more that we've been giving in the past x amount of years."

After I had all this tremendous success with getting my blood sugars

really under control towards the end of college,

I decided that this was something that I was so passionate about

and this is something that I really wanted to help others with

and I wanted everybody with type 1 diabetes to feel that sense of accomplishment

and really that sense of control that I was feeling.

I decided to go to health coaching school

and I am a diabetic health coach

and I would never in my wildest dreams think I would be focusing my whole entire career

on the diabetic community because growing up,

I was somebody who was like not even associating with type 1 diabetes

or anybody with type 1 diabetes

because I didn't want to be different,

but now I see it as this is awesome.

There's a whole entire community of us and we can help each other

and we can lift each other up.

With my diabetic health coaching, I coach people all around the entire world.

I have clients in New Zealand, the UK, California, you know, everywhere

and no matter where they are in location,

there's still that very similar and grounding problem that they aren't feeling supported

and they need help to take back control of themselves.
