Jeep Wrangler TJ Smittybilt Vinyl Fold & Tumble Rear Seat (1997-2006 TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 9:11.

This Smittybilt Vinyl Fold and Tumble Rear Seat in Black Denim is for those of you that

have a 1997 to 2006 TJ that are looking for a replacement rear seat that's going to do

pretty much everything that the factory rear seat does, but do it in a slightly different

way.

So this seat's going to have a slightly different shape to it.

It's still going to fold and tumble, as it says in the name, but it is going to do it,

again, in a little bit of a different way than a factory seat does, but it is still

going to have the same functionality, and we'll talk a little bit more about that in

just a second.

So, as far as the installation goes, this is going to be a very easy seat to install.

Because the functionality of the seat is slightly different, you are going to have to swap out

those factory rear seat brackets even if you have a good set in place, but, again, not

a big deal.

It bolts right into place, one out of three wrenches, and we'll show you how to do that

in just a second.

So this seat, again, is still going to fold and tumble.

It's going to have a lever here that folds and a lever in the back that tumbles, instead

of having just one lever on the side that will both fold and tumble the seat.

So, again, slightly different way that it does what it does, but it still has all that

same functionality.

Little bit of a different shape with having wings in the back here, but, again, very comfortable

seat, very similar to a factory seat in everything that it does.

If you have a rear seat in your TJ already, it's starting to get worn out, you don't want

to get it recovered or re-foamed, maybe your seat's missing entirely, and you just want

a good aftermarket seat that's going to allow you to carry a few more passengers in your

TJ, I think this is going to be a nice choice.

And for the quality that you get, I also think it's pretty fairly priced.

This is going to be a steel tube rear seat, which is pretty standard for most seats.

They're going to have a tubular steel frame that is going to be black powder-coated.

Then you're going to have all of your steel springs that go across.

Of course, the foam, and then this is covered in this vinyl material, which makes it very

easy for cleanup, especially if you're somebody who has the top off of your Jeep often, you

can get all sorts of things on your interior, and this is going to be really easy to clean.

It also looks really good.

It's going to hold up really well, and, again, it's going to have all the same functionality

as a factory seat and the fact that it will fold and tumble.

This seat's going to run you $270, and I do think that's going to be a pretty good price.

It comes with all the brackets you need.

It is going to be specific to your TJ, and it's a nice, comfortable seat that's going

to hold up pretty well.

In general, seats are pretty expensive.

They take a lot to build.

They do have a higher price tag than some of the other pieces that you might get for

your Jeep or maybe that you would expect if you haven't done a lot of seat shopping.

But in the world of seats, this is going to be a pretty fair price, and I do think you're

getting a quality seat.

Now, I'll have somebody from the install team to show you how you get this bolted in.

First thing we're going to do is remove our rear seat.

We're going to fold it forward, and we can push up on the release tab right here, and

fold it forward.

All right.

We want to fold our carpet back so we can remove the seat brackets.

I've got a 13-millimeter socket on my ratchet here.

We do have a mismatched bolt here.

I have a 730 seconds Allen wrench.

These bolts are known to break in the floor, so take extra caution when you're removing

them.

Peel our carpet back on the left side.

Remove our 2 bolts with a 13-millimeter socket.

We're now ready to remove our stock rear seat.

Now that we have our stock seat out, we can begin by installing the new seat brackets

that come with the seat.

So we're going to use the stock bolts that we took out of the seat brackets, and we're

going to get the left side bracket installed first.

All right.

We're going to get our left side bracket installed here.

We'll put it in place, and we're going to use two of the bolts that we took out previously.

We're now ready to get our new seat in place.

So what we want to do here is get the pin that has the notch in it into the hole of

the bracket.

And once we have that pin through the bracket, we're going to take the provided clip and

snap it into place to prevent the seat from sliding out of the bracket.

Now that we got our left side bracket installed with the C-clip, we're going to do the same

thing on the right side.

I'm going to flip the seat up, slide the pin into the bracket, and then bolt the bracket

down to the floor of the Jeep.

Flip it up.

Now we can fold our seat up, and then we'll slide our bracket onto the pivot pin.

And once we have the bracket on the pivot pin, we are going to install the C-clip again,

just like the other side.

We can actually fold our carpet back now.

Get our bracket into place.

All right.

We're going to get a couple of bolts into our bracket here.

We have a mismatched bolt here.

These bolts are known for breaking in the floor.

We broke one previously and fixed it already.

All right.

We can fold our carpet back now.

Last step of the install here is to install the striker plate into the floor.

So what we need to do is remove the two seat belt brackets here with a T50 Torx.

We'll install a striker plate, and then we'll put our seat belt brackets back on top of

the striker plate.

I have a T50 Torx on my impact gun.

We can remove our seat belt.

All right.

We'll slide our striker plate under the carpet.

We're going to use the center hole, and now we could put our seat belts and the bolt right

back into place here.

And we'll tighten this down.

Once you've got your striker plate installed, you can fold your seat back down and lock

it in place.

Then you want to feed your seat belts up through the back of the seat here.

And we can fold the seat back up.

That's going to wrap up our review and install of the Smittybilt Black Denim Rear Seat.

Be sure to check out more at extremeterrain.com.

6 Jurassic MOVIE MISTAKES FIXED In Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom - Duration: 6:06.

During our first big-screen introduction to Isla Nublar, many of us fell in love with

the Jurassic Park movies, but in the 20-plus years since then, fans have uncovered many

mistakes and issues with the films.

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here and today I'm explaining how Jurassic World:

Fallen Kingdom fixes or addresses six movie mistakes and complaints fans have about the

Jurassic movies.

Spoilers ahead for the Jurassic World movies, so take care if you haven't seen them yet.

The brutal, drawn-out death of Claire's personal assistant Zara in Jurassic World attracted

plenty of criticism.

Zara's demise, which saw her being pounced on by multiple Pteranodons and snapped up

by a Mosasaur, certainly seemed over the top given all she'd done was lose track of Claire's

nephews after they were dumped on her.

For Fallen Kingdom though, co-writer Colin Trevorrow says he learned his lesson, and

told Empire that he "made sure that every death was earned.

Everybody deserves their death in this movie."

He explained that it's "horrible people" who massistant Eli Mills.

The T-Rex goat scene in Jurassic Park is an iconic moment and there was a brief call-back

to it in the first Jurassic World.

Yet some niggling questions have been raised about the original scene, such as given the

size of the goat, why would a T-Rex leave a leg behind and not eat the whole animal.

Well, in Fallen Kingdom when the T-Rex is moved into Lockwood Manor's basement and she

eats the goat, this time the filmmakers specifically showed Rexy swallowing up that final goat

leg.

And there's another little nod to that Jurassic Park goat moment when Rexy is chomping down

on Eli Mills and one of his legs flies off, Carnotaurus catches it but then leaves it

behind after being scared off by Rexy.

By the way, the T-Rex and goat scene was actually censored in some countries like Italy and

I talk more about that in my video on Fallen Kingdom's deleted and censored scenes.

Something that irked many fans in Jurassic World was how Claire managed to spend the

whole movie running around the island in stilettos.

Of course, watching a dinosaur movie means we have to suspend our disbelief, but seeing

a T-Rex outrun by Claire who was wearing high heels that never snapped, just seemed a little

too silly and unnecessary.

Bryce Dallas Howard defended her stilettos saying they reflected how her character was

more at home in a corporate environment and was disconnected from the animals in the park.

Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Bayona acknowledged Jurassic World's "heel-gate" with his first

shot of Claire in Jurassic World 2 focusing on her in heels in the office elevator, just

like the first movie.

However, once Claire gets back on the island, she ditches her heels for some sturdy boots,

a much more practical choice for the sequel's action scenes.

Although it's well known that many real-life dinosaurs had feathers, none in the first

Jurassic Park movie did.

In fact, dinosaur consultants on that movie did recommend that dinos such as the raptors

and the T-Rex should have feathers; however, unfortunately, computer animation at that

time couldn't handle creating feathers realistically so the idea was abandoned.

The movie's scientific inaccuracy was acknowledged by Jurassic Park 3's filmmakers who gave a

nod to feathered dinosaurs by adding a little tuft of quills to the velociraptors.

But when the franchise returned with Jurassic World, a decision was made to stick with featherless

raptors.

Director Colin Trevorrow defended this choice by saying that Steven Spielberg had been unhappy

with the look and feel of feathered dinosaurs in the Terra Nova TV series which Spielberg

executive produced between the original and new trilogy.

Jurassic World 2 addresses its lack of feathered raptors by adding a little tuft of quills

to the new Indoraptor's head while still maintaining the franchise's continuity by keeping the

overall scaly look of most of the Jurassic dinos.

By the way, the movies have an in-universe justification for the lack of accuracy in

their dino designs as they aren't pure dinosaurs as their genes have been mixed with, for example,

frog DNA.

And Wu explained in Jurassic World that Masrani wasn't interested in realistic-looking dinos,

just scarier ones.

"If their genetic code was pure, many of them would look quite different."

"But you didn't ask for reality."

"You asked for more teeth."

Although Jurassic Park 3 is one of the less popular entries in the franchise, many fans

do love the Spinosaurus which was introduced in that movie.

And key to designing that dinosaur was Ricardo Delgado, who contributed storyboards and concept

art for the creature.

Delgado is a film and comic book artist who went uncredited for his contributions to the

movie; however, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom pays homage to him with an easter egg via

congresswoman Delgado who Claire speaks to on the phone to get support for her plan to

the save the dinosaurs from their impending extinction on Isla Nublar.

One big complaint that fans had about Jurassic World was that there were too many CG dinosaurs

and not enough of the old-school animatronic dinos they loved from the original movie.

We did get an animatronic Apatosaurus scene in Jurassic World, but Colin Trevorrow explained

that budget limitations meant they were only able to write one scene for an animatronic

dino.

Bu after the financial success of that movie, the sequel had a much larger budget and it

hired Star Wars practical effects legend Neal Scanlan to create new animatronic dinos for

the film.

Trevorrow, who co-wrote the script, made sure to include close-up scenes with Blue, T-Rex

and the Indoraptor.

The scene with the injured Blue where Owen, Zia, Franklin and Claire all interact with

the raptor is very realistic and the use of animatronics gave an opportunity for the actors

to have a real physical and emotional connection to the dino.

More than ten people were under the table operating Blue during that scene and the creature

was even able to sweat and drool.

The Indoraptor's close-up scenes also used puppeteers to get more realistic and scarier

shots.

VFX was then also added on top to enhance certain moments difficult to replicate with

puppetry, such as the blink of an eye or a snarl.

Now, let me know what plot holes or movie mistakes you spotted in Fallen Kingdom?

And what did you most enjoy about the movie?

Advertising on Dating Apps & Sites Does it work - Duration: 3:07.

welcome back you're watching ACIERO in Amsterdam today I'm discussing a question from one

of our viewers, the question is can I advertise on dating apps or sex websites

okay if you're struggling with how to get your business out there and you feel

that maybe if you advertise on dating apps like Tinder or the rest and you think that your clients are

hanging out there then I think it's okay it also depends on the audience you trying to target

because if you're trying to target a certain type of audience and they're

hangouts isn't dating apps then you really are not going to reach the goal your trying to achieve

so advertising on dating apps is ok I feel because if your audience is hanging around there

and you think you can make customer to click on your website or customers to view your products

its like your vegetarian and your go to a steak restaurant so you're trying to sell a product

these people are looking for a partner or all these people are just looking for sex so

do you really think that these people are interested in even in buying a product at

that moment do you think that that AD that are you running on a dating app is going to turn

into a conversion I don't think so but maybe if you're trying to get brand

awareness then it will work because most of the time people are busy thinking okay

let's see how this happens you know like what is this maybe they're swapping

around and they get to your website or they get to your ad it' a good way of getting your brand out there

but I don't know if you can really make a conversion with it because I don't

trust it so much like I just mentioned it's not going to a steak restaurant when you

are a vegetarian so they will be serving steak over there and it will be

hard for you to get anything in that steak restaurant that you can eat so in

other words just give it your best shot what I will

suggest to you is maybe use the other platforms I already mentioned in the video

in this link above yes so you can actually advertise and r

each your audiece using those platforms so I hope you enjoyed if

An AI For Image Manipulation Detection | 2MP #261 - Duration: 3:11.

Dear Fellow Scholars, this is Two Minute Papers with Károly Zsolnai-Fehér.

As facial reenactment videos are improving at a rapid pace, it is getting easier and

easier to create video impersonations of other people by transferring our gestures onto their

faces.

We have recently discussed a technique that is able to localize the modified regions within

these videos, however, this technique was limited to human facial reenactment.

That is great, but what about the more general case with manipulated photos?

Well, do not worry for second, because this new learning-based algorithm can look at any

image and highlight the regions that were tampered with.

It can detect image splicing, which means that we take part of a different image and

add it to this one.

Or, copying an object and pasting it into the image elsewhere.

Or, removing an object from a photo and filling in the hole with meaningful information harvested

from the image.

This we also refer to as image inpainting, and this is something that we also use often

to edit our thumbnail images that you see here on YouTube.

Believe it or not, it can detect all of these cases.

And it uses a two-stream convolutional neural network to accomplish this.

So what does this mean exactly?

This means a learning algorithm that looks at one, the color data of the image to try

to find unnatural contrast changes along edges and silhouettes, and two, the noise information

within the image as well and see how they relate to each other.

Typically, if the image has been tampered with, either the noise, or the color data

is disturbed, or, it may also be that they look good one by one, but the relation of

the two has changed.

The algorithm is able to detect these anomalies too.

As many of the images we see on the internet are either resized or compressed, or both,

it is of utmost importance that the algorithm does not look at compression artifacts and

thinks that the image has been tampered with.

This is something that even humans struggle with on a regular basis, and this is luckily

not the case with this algorithm.

This is great because a smart attacker may try to conceal their mistakes by recompressing

an image and thereby adding more artifacts to it.

It's not going to fool this algorithm.

However, as you Fellow Scholars pointed out in the comments of a previous episode, if

we have a neural network that is able to distinguish forged images, with a little modification,

we can perhaps turn it around and use it as a discriminator to help training a neural

network that produces better forgeries.

What do you think about that?

It is of utmost importance that we inform the public that these tools exist.
