On this episode of China Uncensored,

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

You know,

it sure seems like the Chinese Communist Party

is trying to get down, with the land down under—

Australia.

In fact, I was there a couple months ago

specifically to uncover how the Party

is attempting to infiltrate Australia—

through politics, business, and even community groups.

Which is why I really admire

shows like the ABC's The World.

Even though the ABC,

the Australian Broadcasting Corporation,

is a huge mega company that has some

pretty significant deals with the Chinese Communist Party...

The World invited yours truly to go on air this past March,

to talk about some of the things the Chinese Communist Party

wants to keep censored.

So I was very sad to hear that at the last minute,

The World decided to cancel a live interview

they'd scheduled with Chinese rights activist,

former Miss World Canada,

and friend of the show Anastasia Lin.

Anastasia is in Australia promoting

two of her new movies, Reunion,

which deals with forced organ harvesting

of political prisoners in China,

and In the Name of Confucius,

a documentary about how China's state-backed Confucius Institute

is undermining democracy in countries like...

Australia.

And China Uncensored is sponsoring one of her events.

So why did The World cancel the interview with Anastasia,

after working on it for a week?

Apparently, a producer there

told Anastasia's representative over the phone

that she was being cut because higher ups in the ABC

were concerned about Anastasia's quote "affiliations."

Whoa.

Pretty surprising,

since ABC has done more than most big media companies

when it comes to covering the Chinese Communist Party's infiltration into Australia.

But...maybe there's a bit more infiltration

that needs to be exposed.

Now in response,

the ABC released this statement saying the story,

"has no basis in fact,"

and "the producer...

does not recall ever using the word 'affiliations.'"

In other words,

Anastasia is a lying liar and no one should believe her.

Wow, funny, that's what the Chinese Communist Party

always says about her.

Go figure.

One little problem.

That phone conversation was recorded.

The Australian, another media company,

"can reveal that the conversation between the producer

and Ms Lin's representative was recorded

to protect her legal interests,

in case her version of events was disputed."

Uh oh.

Now according to Australian law,

that recording can't be released to the public

unless the ABC gives permission.

And guess what?

They haven't given permission.

Now for legal reasons,

I'm not supposed to say

whether I've personally listened to or not listened to

any specific audio recording.

But I can say that a very credible source has confirmed

that an ABC producer did indeed

tell Anastasia's representative

that it was "a decision from….

higher-ups…

about some of Anastasia's affiliations."

Now the ABC didn't clarify what "affiliations" meant,

because this conversation—

which was recorded—

never happened.

But "affiliations" might refer to how Anastasia Lin

practices Falun Gong—

a meditation practice persecuted in China.

She had won Miss World Canada in 2015,

but then was banned from competing

in the finals inside China.

Not to worry.

The ABC has a section on their website

for lodging a complaint.

I've provided the link below in case you have any.

And I'd just like to point out,

I don't necessarily blame the show The World,

or its producers,

or its host for this.

We don't know who those higher ups are,

if they're higher ups in The World or the ABC itself.

But after it came out that there was a recording,

ABC suddenly decided to release this article

about Anastasia's work on organ harvesting.

What great timing!

Which just goes to show you:

It's either totally a coincidence,

or all that international pressure

really does have an impact.

This time I'm working on the most troublesome problem at home.

That is a problem with our large cat, Boss-kichi's toilet.

First of all, please take a look at this video.

Yes, the biggest problem at our house right now is the scattering of sand when Boss-kichi leaves the toilet.

Neko-kichi drops the sand that sticks to the paws after the toilet by herself ...

But Boss-kichi don't do that without worrying,

Besides, his paws are so big that cat sand sticks to it like this...

But that is not the only problem.

Boss-kichi "Look at my paws carefully!"

The cat sand was caught between his paws.

And the cat sand between these paws was very troublesome,

It spreads through the room with Boss-kichi,

No ...

It spreads throughout all my house.

It seems easy to solve, but it is actually very difficult.

Anyway, I tried to change the cat sand of the toilet and see how it will work.

First, clean around the toilet.

The disadvantage of the cat sand currently use is tiny powder scattering.

However, it only happens to Boss-kichi.

I think this cat sand doesn't fit Boss-kichi well.

I change all the sand at once, not little by little today,

I will keep the old sand just in case Boss-kichi does not use the new one.

I shift the cat sand to remove the tiny powder,

It seems that a considerable amount of cat sand became powder due to Boss-kichi's strong sand digging.

The cat sand contained a lot of powders...

Next, I will clean the empty toilet.

And while drying the toilet,

Let's take a break with Neko-kichi.

And this is new cat sand that I chose after considering a lot.

This is the Japanese cypress (large grain) of Pet's One.

The grains of this sand are bigger than the old one, and it is solid.

I smell good cypress.

By the way, I thought that it was heavier than paper, so it was hard to stick to the paws,

It is surprisingly light, and not much different from paper one.

But, since it is supposed that the larger grain is less likely to be caught between the paws, I hope this is going to work.

It is easiest if it solves the problem of scattering by just replacing sand,

Anyway, once again, I will observe the use condition of the toilet.

Boss-kichi, even if I changed the sand, he entered without problems.

And the moment Boss-kichi leaves the toilet ...

... Well, It was still scattered.

And, once for a while, I continued to observe ...

Again sand scatters.

Paws are like this.

Apparently, I need to improve it.

A few days later ...

It is DIY after a long time.

Firstly, cut the cedar board.

I will make the Boss's sand return system this time,

Another name is "Boss-kichi offertory box"

I want to be able to stop the scattering of sand at the moment of his leaving the toilet,

I do not know whether I will succeed unless I make it.

Well, draw lines on the matched spots,

Cut the extra part that hits the toilet.

Chamfer only this part before assembling.

Then I will fix four plates.

And this part will be a front part of the box.

I will open up a hole for inserting the drawer later on here.

Next, I will stick the floorboard.

That has taken shape little by little

This is a drawer I bought at Daiso (Japanese dollar shop).

Insert this into the hole I opened earlier.

But, since the drawer is not stable as it is,

I will make a guide for the drawer with angles.

Cut this After measure length,

Put a double-sided tape on the backside.

Decide where I put the drawer,

If you attach angles to the left and right,

the drawer becomes stable.

Work is still continued.

Put the cut board into the side of the box,

Fix the board with screws.

Next, I will make 'something' with this board.

What is making it now,

It is a duckboard for dropping sand down.

Lined up the boards at regular intervals that did not stumble Boss-kichi's legs,

While holding down with the wooden stick in the middle,

Drive nails.

I will set a completed duckboard.

The size was perfect,

I want to let the sand fall from the duckboard into the drawer underneath,

Put the boards to the right and left so that the fallen sand rolls into the drawer.

But, I can make a little gradient.

But, it is better to make it, so I will on it as I planned.

It is almost done.

Finally, chamfering the entire box with a trimmer,

Smooth narrow parts with file,

Clean well with a dust collector ...

Neko-kichi "What were you making!?"

Neko-kichi "Neko-kichi Jump!"

Neko-kichi "What is this!?"

Lay this mat I bought at Daiso so that the sand stuck to the paws falls easily.

The final weapon of cat sand scattering problem,

Boss-kichi's offertory box was completed here.

Well then I will set up a camera and I want to wait for Boss-kichi to enter the toilet.

I hope this time have good results ...

Boss-kichi came down from his castle after a while.

And finally ...

First of all, it seems that there is no problem going in and out.

But the problem is after this ...

The moment has come ...

The first result is like this.

There were 2 grains of sand on the floor.

Furthermore, I continued observation after that.

It didn't work perfectly, it was able to reduce the scattering of sand about 70 to 80%.

Hi friends, welcome to this part of Kalopasak

In this video we shall see a new method of cast on.

This cast on looks beautiful as braid. That is similar to bind off.

See how the usual method of CO looks ...

Here cast on is done with the help of crochet hook.

Make a slip knot and take it on your crochet needle.

Place the knitting needle like this and the yarn on the back side of the needle

Now wrap the yarn around the crochet hook and pull the loop from the slip knot on the crochet hook.

This is our first stitch.

Now get the yarn on back side

Keep the working yarn always on the back side.

Again wrap the working yarn around the crochet hook and take the loop outside.

Our second stitch is here.

Now again put the working yarn behind the work by passing through the space in between two needles.

Wrap the yarn and pull the loop out, the third stitch is ready.

Place the working yarn on back part

Repeat this till the required number of stitches.

Suppose this is the last stitch then put the slip knot on the left needle and count it as our last stitch.

This beautiful braid design is formed in the bottom.

We can use it further for Provisional Cast on which we shall see later on.
