Star Wars The Last Jedi Teaser Trailer EASTER EGGS, Things You Missed & FULL ANALYSIS - Duration: 8:24.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi just dropped a chilling but thrilling teaser trailer that hints at

some awesome scenes in the second instalment of the new trilogy.

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here and in this video, I'm breaking down The Last

Jedi teaser and explaining some intriguing details you might have missed.

Just be aware I'll be discussing speculation and possible spoilers for Star Wars: The Last

Jedi, so if you want to avoid those, tap in the top-right of the screen for a spoiler-free

video tribute to Carrie Fisher at Star Wars Celebration.

Starting with that first scene, I thought it was interesting that there's a little parallel

to the start of The Force Awakens trailer where Finn popped up in distress while here

Rey also appears distressed and I wonder whether she's just experienced another force vision,

like she did when she picked up Luke's lightsaber for the first time in The Force Awakens.

And that dark area in the rocks just behind Rey feels like it could be the same cave entrance

we see Luke standing in at the end of the trailer.

And if you brighten the image here, the walls of the cave actually look like part of a tree

and you can also make out what looks like Rey's staff by the entrance.

The idea of a cave also harkens back to the Dark Side Cave that Luke entered in The Empire

Strikes Back where he struck down a vision of Darth Vader revealing his own face beneath

Vader's mask.

What I also find fascinating is that the visuals in this opening shot immediately introduce

us to the theme of light and darkness in the new movie.

Notice how the image starts with what looks like stars in a night sky or space, but then

light illuminates the scene revealing the stars as just specks or shiny flecks on the

rock.

So, getting in to the core of the trailer, after the Lucasfilm logo appears, we get some

beautiful shots of Ahch'To, the location where Rey discovered Luke at the end of The Force

Awakens.

We next get the first of various voices starting with Luke saying "Breathe", "just breathe"

and then "reach out, what do you see?"

The last words echo back to Yoda who says "Reach out.

Sense the Force around you" while training Jedi Younglings in Episode 2: Attack of the

Clones.

And the repeating of the word 'breath' fits in with the way Yoda and Obi-Wan, for example,

emphasised the importance of calmness, concentration, and mindfulness when it came to the Force.

And in the background there are whispers of "Help me, Obi-Wan" just as the trailer cuts

to Leia examining a star chart, then on the shot of Kylo Ren's destroyed mask you can

hear Darth Vader breathing in the background, then the words "seduced by the dark side"

which Obi-Wan says when he appears as a Force Ghost to Luke in Return of the Jedi.

Next we hear Yoda whisper "surrounds us and binds us" the words he said to Luke while

training him in The Empire Strikes Back.

Hearing other voices in the background makes me think we could well get Force Ghosts of

Obi-Wan, Yoda or Anakin Skywalker appearing in The Last Jedi.

Or these could just be disembodied voices again like the ones Rey heard during her vision

in The Force Awakens.

Now, jumping back to the visuals in the trailer.

I really love this shot of Rey's hand and little stones rising up around her, which

is reminiscent of of Luke levitating objects when he trained with Yoda on Dagobah, and

also reminded me a touch of Man of Steel as well.

By the way, I think it's curious that two of these images of Rey focus on her hand and

I wonder whether the teaser is hinting at something more here.

After all the opening scene to The Force Awakens was initially going to be Luke Skywalker's

severed hand with his lightsaber from the end of The Empire Strikes Back floating through

space.

Next in the trailer we get this intriguing shot of a series of books set against some

tree roots.

On the page of one of the books is the insignia of the Jedi Order and these are probably the

legendary Journal of the Whills.

The Whills were recently mentioned in Rogue One via Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus who were

Guardians of the Whills.

The Whills was George Lucas's original term for The Force when he was writing the first

Star Wars movie.

I think it's very likely we'll see the term and concept developed in The Last Jedi.

As for those tree roots Force-sensitive trees have appeared outside the movies in Star Wars

canon like The Clone Wars animated series and the Shattered Empire comic book series.

In The Clone Wars, there was a force-sensitive tree in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and we

know from Han Solo in The Force Awakens that Luke likely disappeared to look for the first

Jedi Temple.

If he did indeed find that first Jedi Temple on Ahch'To, then it seems quite likely these

are the fabled Journal of the Whills.

By the way, I also love how the imagery of Rey's words lines up with the images on screen.

When she says "Light" we get Leia, she says "Darkness" and we see Kylo Ren's destroyed

mask and the word "Balance" brings us to the Jedi books with a ray of light illuminating

the darkness.

And these words also mirror the poem in the Journal of the Whills which reads:

"First comes the day Then comes the night.

After the darkness Shines through the light."

But after all that perfect symmetry, comes the kicker with Luke's words, "it's so much

bigger", suggesting that there's much more to it than this, and I'll come back to that

later.

The trailer then breaks into some really fantastic action scenes.

First up are these Resistance fighters squaring up to the new First Order Heavy Assault Walkers

in the distance which, although we can't see them up close here, are getting on for twice

the size of a regular AT-AT and have also been dubbed "Gorilla Walkers" because of their

enormous thick legs.

Now, if you're wondering why those fighters are giving off a red flare, well, the important

thing to think about is that this battle is taking place on the planet Crait, which director

Rian Johnson has said is 'a mineral planet' covered in salt that's home to an abandoned

rebel base.

If you notice this figher's craft, it seems to be hitting the salt floor and piercing

it, which spews out red dust.

And notice how all the fighters have a kind of spike dragging along the salt floor which

is where the red is spewing from.

The planet they're on has a red-coloured mineral base under the salt, so it looks like they're

trying to break up the ground before they reach the First Order walkers to create a

smokescreen so the walkers can't see properly during their attack.

Obviously, this scene calls back to the Rebel attack on the Imperial walkers on the snowy

planet Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, and the visuals here are absolutely breathtaking.

By the way, this battle scene was filmed on real salt flats in Bolivia.

It's nice to see Finn is getting medical attention here and there a little of the Aurebesh language

showing on Finn's pod which translates as "Stable", indicating that we're likely to

see Finn back in action in The Last Jedi.

The trailer gives us a very short glimpse of Kylo Ren and interestingly, his scar here

looks different from how Rey scared him at the end of The Force Awakens

But what's more intriguing is the bright yellow light behind him because the website Making

Star Wars has reported there's a scene in The Last Jedi where the Force tree on Ahch'To

is set on fire.

We know from The Force Awakens that Kylo Ren was obsessed with finding where Luke Skywalker

had disappeared to, and I wonder whether Kylo's found Luke and set the tree on fire.

And it looks like here, we've got another look at that scene which appeared in Rey's

force vision of Luke and R2-D2 watching what might be his Jedi training school burn down.

Hopefully, we'll get a more in-depth look at what happened to Luke and R2-D2 and how

his hand ended up like this.

And the way the trailer cuts to a scene of Phasma and Stormtroopers walking through an

area that's on fire is meant to suggest that Phasma was there when Luke's school was destroyed,

but actually notice the floor she's walking on is shiny and if you look up, it looks like

this may be more like the place where Poe Dameron's X-wing is blown up earlier in the

trailer.

By the way, assuming this isn't a flashback scene for Phasma, I guess she managed to escape

the trash compactor on Starkiller Base where Finn and friends said they'd dump her in The

Force Awakens!

Ok, and then the trailer ends with those chilling words of Luke's, "It's time for the Jedi to

end."

Now, it's a bit shocking after 8 movies to think that Star Wars might be trying to do

away with the Jedi, but Luke may actually have a point.

He's had two of his relatives turn away from the Jedi to the Dark Side of the Force.

So, perhaps, he thinks there is a better way to wield the power of the Force, even combining

both the Light and Dark sides in what some fans call the Grey Jedi.

And, in fact, the second part of the poem I mentioned earlier from the Journal of the

Whills reads: "The difference, they say,

Is only made right By the resolving of gray

Through refined Jedi sight."

So, could the idea be that a grey Force user is going to replace the old Jedi, hence the

title of the movie "The Last Jedi"?

By the way, the poster for The Last Jedi also seems to be hinting at a possible blurring

of the Light Side and the Dark Side as notice that Rey's lightsaber begins blue and then

changes to red further up the poster.

So, guys, what did you think of The Last Jedi teaser trailer?

And what did you make of Luke's final words?

And did you spot anything else I missed?

Geometry: Measurement of Segments (Level 3 of 4) | Examples II - Duration: 5:40.

Measurement of Segments Level 3 In this video we will go over 2 additional

examples that involve congruent segments.

Let's jump straight into the first example.

According to the diagram, which two segments are congruent?

In this problem we are provided with two figures in this case we have two triangles, we are

asked to determine which two segments are congruent to one another.

Recall that two segments are congruent if they have the same length.

Unfortunately we do not know the lengths of any of the segments shown in the figure.

But we do have tick marks; remember that we can visually show that two line segments are

congruent by using tick marks.

In the first triangle segment AB has a double tick mark and segment BC has a single tick mark.

In the second triangle segment RT has a single tick mark and segment ST has a triple tick mark.

Segments that have matching tick marks are congruent so segment BC is congruent to segment

RT and this is our final answer.

Alright that was a nice warm up let's try a more challenging problem.

The perimeter of rectangle ABCD is 66, and line segment DC is twice as long as line segment CB.

How long is line segment AB?

In this problem we have a rectangle that is formed by 4 vertices and 4 line segments this

type of figure is a special type of quadrilateral.

Quadrilaterals will be discussed in greater detail in a much later video.

For now we want to determine the length of segment AB given the fact that the perimeter

(the distance around the figure) is 66 and line segment DC is twice as long as line segment CB.

We can determine the length of line segment AB by relating the facts of the problem with

the geometric relations of the figure.

We will have to use algebra in order to set up an equation and solve for the unknown length,

in this case our unknown will be line segment AB.

From the figure shown we know that line segment AD and line segment BC are congruent because

both segments have matching single tick marks.

In the same manner line segment DC and line segment AB are congruent because both segments

have matching double tick marks.

Recall that when two line segments are congruent they have the same length or have the same

measurement.

Now that we have this information let's take a look at the facts of the problem and

use algebra to set up an equation.

We know that the perimeter is equal to 66 this means that if we were to add all the

line segments it should equal to 66.

In order to solve an equation we need to determine our unknowns and assign variables to these

unknowns.

Since line segment AD and line segment BC are congruent we can use the variable x to

represent their length.

Similarly we can use the variable y to represent the length of segment DC and segment AB.

Substituting these variables into our perimeter equation and simplifying we obtain the following.

Notice that we have two variables in our equation, in its current form we cannot solve for any

of the variables, we need to replace one of the variables either x or y with an expression

that will simplify the equation with two variables into an equation with a single variable.

We can do just that by using the second fact of the problem, in this case line segment

DC is twice as long as line segment CB, we can express this relation as follows.

From here we can replace the length of segment DC with the variable y and the length of segment

CB with the variable x.

Now we can substitute this expression for y in the perimeter equation as follows.

From here it is just a matter of simplifying the expression and solving for x.

In the end we obtain x is equal to 11.

Now, we are not done yet this is not like your algebra class where the goal was to solve

for x, in a geometry problem we need to make sure that we answer the question completely.

Notice that x represents the length of line segment AD or BC we were asked to find the

length of line segment AB and not the other two segments.

So we know from the facts that segment DC is twice the length of segment CB since the

length of line segment BC is 11 then the length of line segment AB is equal to twice this

number in this case 22.

So this is our final answer.

Alright in our final video on measurement of segments we will go over 2 challenging

examples.

Media Ignores Trump's Conflicts Of Interest To Promote War In Syria - Duration: 9:11.

Last week, Donald Trump decided to lob 59 Tomahawk missiles at an airfield in Syria,

and almost immediately, the corporate-controlled media began talking about how presidential

Donald Trump looks now.

You can almost see them salivating at the thought of a new war to promote.

Joining me now to discuss the corporate media's eagerness to promote a new war in Syria is

Matt Gertz, a Senior Fellow at Media Matters for America.

Matt, thanks for being with us today.

Thanks for having me.

I think what's really interesting about the media's immediate response to the strikes

in Syria were the people saying that, 'Now, now, he looks presidential.'

Suddenly, by launching almost 60 missiles at a foreign country, that is what passes

for presidential in the eyes of the corporate media.

This is getting to a point of absolute absurdity when all you have to do, in the media's eyes,

to look presidential is shoot some missiles off.

Yeah, I think you've hit it squarely on the head.

This is something that we've seen happen literally for decades.

There is a sense, from some in the media, that you're really the President, you haven't

really demonstrated your medal, so to speak, until you deploy US forces into battle somewhere.

They don't really care where it is.

They don't really care how well it goes.

We saw this in Grenada and Panama, getting back decades.

This is when the media decides, or at least for some in the media, this is what makes

you a President: your first decision to kill people, more or less.

Well, no.

I'm sorry.

Continue.

With someone like Donald Trump, I think this is more frightening than it would be in normal

circumstances because Trump is someone that we know spends a lot of time watching cable

news.

We know that he's someone who has very, very thin skin regarding how he's portrayed by

the media.

Basically, what you're doing here is, the press is giving the President a lot of plaudits,

and the President is going to learn that this is what it takes.

Military strikes are what it takes to win the media's approval.

I think that that's going to put us in a situation where he's going to do more of it.

I think what's really interesting about that is that the media doesn't even understand

how much they're feeding into his ego right now because I believe it was the Monday after

the strikes, we saw he made this decision, he's going to send warships over to North

Korea.

Tuesday morning, he's tweeting out, 'If China's not gonna help with North Korea, then,

fine.

We're gonna go, and we're gonna do it ourselves.

USA.'

He saw the media's response to this, how much they lavished him with this praise, saying

he's presidential, he's responsible, he did the right thing.

Now, this egomaniac says, 'Okay.

Well, look.

I'm gonna go do it again, but this time, I'm gonna do it in a much more dangerous country,

and I'm still gonna keep the heat over here on Syria, and let's see how the media plays

into this.'

It's because of this praise that he's gotten, that now, he's trying to escalate things over,

with North Korea.

This is really getting out of control at this point.

The press doesn't understand that they're the ones feeding this, or conversely, they

don't care that they're the ones feeding this because it's good for ratings.

I think the level of danger ... I don't think you can underestimate how much this is going

to get ratcheted up going forward.

We had this very, for all intents and purposes, small strike in Syria.

It's 59 Tomahawk missiles.

It knocked the airfield out of being able to function for a few hours, and then they

were, later the same day, they were back and sending planes back out, again, presumably

to kill more people.

It wasn't exactly an effective strike, but what it did was it moved us down that path

because at some point, the pressure's going to rise.

Trump has said that chemical weapons being used against Syrian civilians was a catastrophe

and one that can't be allowed to happen again.

Okay.

We take him at his word.

Then, what is he going to do to actually prevent that from happening?

This strike didn't actually accomplish much.

The question becomes: what's next?

Will there be more strikes?

How much do we care about whether Russian forces are in the way of those strikes?

We are dipping our toes into some very dangerous water right now.

What's interesting is that we're not seeing the press fully cover all of the information

that is coming out about these strikes in Syria.

For one, the fact that Donald Trump owns the stock in Raytheon who makes the Tomahawk missiles.

We had Eric Trump tell the Telegraph that it was Ivanka, a heartbroken Ivanka, who convinced

the President to launch these missile attacks.

We have the allegations that he warned the Russians ahead of time that he was going to

attack in this specific manner.

There's lots of little pieces here that start to make this look a lot less presidential

and almost, I guess you'd call it, scandalous.

I mean for me, if Ivanka Trump, this unelected, unpaid person who I guess has an office in

the White House, has the kind of sway to go up and say, 'Daddy, I didn't like what I

saw on TV.

Please bomb them.'

That should be a major story.

She should not have that kind of sway over the President.

If what Eric Trump has said about his sister is true, then we're looking at a very real

problem because God only knows where she could ask him to strike next.

She claims to be brokenhearted about the children in Syria, ignoring the fact that her father

is trying to cut after school program budgets here in America, destroy the environment,

effectively poisoning our own children here in the United States with corporate pollution.

Why those children in Syria, and why not these children here in the United States?

I don't buy that for one second.

You mentioned that if what he said is true, right?

I mean I think that's sort of the problem that we have covering this Administration

in general.

They lie constantly.

They lie without any particular purpose.

They lie on little things.

They lie on big things.

You can't really trust anything you hear about why their decisions are being made.

That makes all of this much more fraught and difficult.

There was a New York Times story the other day that basically said that Trump had led

with his heart and that that was what had happened.

The way Eric Boehlert put it on MSNBC the other day is that it was almost like they

were portraying him as the Grinch.

His heart grew three sizes that day, and suddenly, he decided that we needed to bomb Syria.

That's a level of mind reading that is very flattering to the President, but not one for

which the media is generally able to actually provide evidence.

They don't know what he ... to 100% confidence of what he was thinking at any one time and

so portraying the story in that way is going to confuse and mislead the audience as a whole.

This is on an issue, the idea of whether Trump is a hawk or Trump is a dove, that the press

has been very bad at for the last couple of years.

Trump, at sometimes, tried to portray himself as someone who was more sober and non-interventionist

on foreign policy issues.

The press repeatedly would buy that.

There was a sort of contention during the election that Trump was a reluctant warrior,

that he was, in fact, running against Hillary Clinton from the Left on issues of foreign

policy.

That never made sense.

It certainly doesn't make sense now.

3 True Scary Subscriber Submitted Horror Stories - Duration: 13:38.

I

believe it was a Tuesday if not, a Monday.

It was fairly early into the night around 8:00 o'clock.

It was slow as Tuesdays usually are and we didn't do anything that day.

We all hung out at home and did whatever.

A thunderstorm was rolling in quickly, and It had hit just about 20 minutes later.

Late night thunderstorms aren't something that seem to happen often, but it happened.

It hung around like storms usually do.

It started off as expected with lightning striking our house, or at least the fuse box

and the power went out.

My dad was getting ready for work, and after a couple of minutes went to check it out.

What happened next is absolutely indescribable.

My dad was out there longer than normal, longer than expected.

Now, my dad is an enormous dude, and he was then too.

Seeing him come in the house frantically and scared for his life astonished me.

He came in and tried to tell my mom quietly and calmly that the box had been cut.

I had overheard this conversation and I didn't understand why this freaked my dad out so

much.

But the words kept running through my stupid little brain and then I finally caught on.

My stomach almost dropped as I finally understood that one word.

The box had been cut.

Tampered with.

It wasn't even burnt this time, so we must've mistaken us being hit with lightning.

Needless to say he did not go to work that night.

He instead watched over us.

Me and my little brother both slept in our parents room that night.

This is where my memory cuts off because I slept for the rest of that night, but according

to my parents the story didn't stop there.

Our landline rang and an unknown voice came over saying he would slit my throat and hang

me off our porch for everyone to see.

My parents both say he then let out the most terrifying stomach churning laugh that will

scar them for life.

We then called the police.I wish I could tell you why we hadn't called the police before

this, but we didn't.

My dad thought he could protect us just fine.

The police came to our house after about 20 minutes considering we lived in a very rural

area, not many in Florida, but they exist.

The only trace the guy left behind were muddy footprints.

The footprints were outside, but the oddest part about them is that they were nowhere

in particular.

This psychotic fuck was circling our house for no apparent reason in the rain.

Usually there would be signs of break-ins or the prints would lead to a particular window,

but this guy circled our house over and over.

The footprints were overlapping each other and we know because the prints looked almost

stacked.

How he got our number or even a phone I have no idea.

Now the next part is absolutely surreal to me.

The police went into the house to check the fuse box.

Keep in mind our only phones at the time was a landline and my dad's damaged phone.

When police entered our house they noticed the landline had been fucking cut.

I could not make up this shit if I actually wanted to.

The motherfucker was in our house for god knows how long.

The only comforting thing is that he could not have been in our house the entire night

because of the footprints.*While we were outside the fucker took presumably the knife he wanted

to murder me with and cut the fucking line on our landline when we were talking to the

police.

The Police found no footprints inside the house that morning so I honestly have no idea

how this person got into our house and I'm willing to bet they didn't either.

Despite this, the police searched our entire house that late night/ early morning, and

they patrolled the surrounding area for a month at least, in search of the guy.

We left Florida shortly after so we don't know how long they searched for.

I would only presume it was for the month that we stayed in Florida while moving.

They found absolutely no trace of the man.

But luckily, he left us alone for good.

I am now a 22 year old man absolutely terrified of thunderstorms and rainstorms.

The reason I tell this story is because I didn't know anything past the fuse box being

cut.

I didn't know he wanted to kill me or that he was in our house to cut the landline.

I didn't learn until about 2 years ago when I was 20 and it recently resurfaced in my

memory.

I don't think any lessons can be learned from this other than there are some fucked up people

in this world.

So this happened July 14th 2016.

Me, my sister, and my brothers friend went to this abandoned house at my old neighborhood

to do a photo shoot.

My brothers friend is a photographer and wanted some pictures for his instagram so we went

to the abandoned house we would always pass by while driving.

There was an old mattress in the backyard, an animal skull under their front porch, dead

animals all around the house, and so much more creepy shit.

There was a cornfield right next to the house so we decided to take some pictures near there.

As we were taking pictures i look to my left and see a man with suspenders and a hat sitting

in a carriage with no top on it.

I cant explain what it looked like but i'm gonna assume it was a carriage.

He's facing the other way so his back is towards us.

My sister and my brothers friend just brush it off and take some pictures of the cornfield.

I was very curious to see who this was so i walk a little closer to the man and he just

slowly turns his head and stares at me with a blank face for the longest time.

I start to feel a little freaked out by the fact that hes just sitting there staring at

us not even moving at all.

We all get a little freaked out and start to walk back to the way we came from.

As we're walking back we hear the loudest gun shot i have ever heard in my entire life.

We all ran for our fucking lives.

So fast that i could have tripped any moment.

30 seconds pass of us running and we finally stop and take a minute to process what the

fuck just happened.

The gunshot was so loud and clear.

It sounded like it was inches away from us.

We take a second to breathe because all of us were out of breath.

As i'm processing what just happened i turn around and see the man bolting towards us.

My heart drops and we instantly run faster than we've ever ran.

I was so out of breath i felt like i was going to pass out any minute.

I wanted to stop to take a second to breathe but we couldn't.

The man was still sprinting towards us.

After what felt like an hour of running we finally stopped.

The man was nowhere to be seen.

We felt so relieved and sat down.

Then we realized we didnt even recognize where we were.

We were lost.

We had ran so far that we didnt even knew where we were.

As we were walking down the road we found a gas station and decided to stop there to

get something to eat.

We walked in and we all went different ways in the store and grabbed some stuff.

We were still sweating and and breathing super heavily so the girl at the cash register asked

us what was wrong.

We told her the whole story, bought our stuff and went outside to the back of the store

and sat down to eat our stuff.

The lady came outside with a cigarette and told us that the mans wife had died of a heart

attack a few years ago and that he's extremely depressed and has some mental issues.

She said that he tries to kill anyone who steps foot on his property.

She then said that he comes into her store to buy cigarettes and gives her nasty looks

every time.

We all looked at each other shocked at the fact that if we hadn't ran fast enough, we

could have been killed.

We were eventually able to call someone to pick us up, said bye to the lady and got home

safely.

I live in a more rural area in New Jersey, surrounded by farms.

At the time, I was a 15 year old girl in her second year of High School.

There, I was a member of our schools debate team.

Once a year, we would have themed debate events where other schools come to our school during

the weekend.

Well, I was chosen to wear a costume, which was a medieval dress.

My dad was going to bring me to the school, but we stopped at a gas station for something

to eat for breakfast.

While we were waiting in line, I saw a man getting out of an old green pick up truck

and come in.

He had a long, straggly white beard and wore a trucker hat that said "Hoyt".

He grabbed a snack and stood behind us in line.

I didn't think of it until I heard him whisper close to my ear, "I like your hair, it smells

pretty."

My dad didn't hear him, but just turned around giving a simple nod to him while I stared

forward, creeped out by what I heard.

We bought the snacks and got to the car.

It was then that I told my dad what I heard.

He didn't think anything of it until we saw the guy inside, almost glaring straight at

us in the car.

We left and I pushed it into the back of my head....

This was until a few weeks later.

I was waiting for the bus to school, not even thinking about the event

Suddenly, slowly driving by the house was a rusted green pick up truck...

And before it sped away, the window rolled down a bit, and I spotted the word "Hoyt"

on the man's hat.

How the man found out where we lived, I have absolutely no idea.

I almost ran inside, but the bus came a few moments after, so I went to school, almost

in tears.

The rest of the school year passed without another sighting of him, and I was happy for

summer vacation to begin.

The last day of school, I had the choice of going out or staying home to watch the dogs.

Wanting to relax, I stayed home with the three dogs.

They were running outside while I was playing my Xbox 360.

I didn't want to deal with them inside since they were always so energetic.

It was about 9 pm when my dog, rocky began barking aggressively, followed by the other

two.

I was about to step out, but I stopped myself and looked out the door.

Doing that was probably the smartest thing I ever did because at the gate, was the all

too familiar white beard and the hat with "Hoyt" clearly printed on it.

The dogs were jumping at the fence and snapping at the man, stopping him from opening the

gate.

I locked the door, beginning to cry.

I was afraid of what the guy could do to our dogs, but I knew I had to call the cops first.

It took them about 5 minutes to get to the house, but by the time they were there, the

man was gone.

I gave my report as they contacted my parents and searched the yard.

I became sick to my stomach when they reported to me and my parents that they found a roll

of duct tape and a pocket knife at the back gate.

I still think about what could've happened if the dogs weren't outside to warn me about

the man.

The man never returned and was never caught.

After that incident, I'm now a college student in Florida, in my Junior year.

Our school security always drives around the apartments, keeping an eye out for anything

suspicious.

However, even after about half a decade and 1000 miles distance, I still get nervous whenever

I'm here alone, thinking that I'll once again I'll see the white beard and that all to familiar

"Hoyt" hat...

LeBron James Isn't the Only NBA Player Who Loves Kendrick's New Album - Duration: 1:43.

What's up, guys?

Pierce Simpson here for Complex News.

LeBron James has been showing love to Kendrick Lamar for a long time now.

In fact, LeBron is one of the reasons Kendrick decided to release a project called untitled

unmastered in March 2016.

LeBron called for Kendrick to put out the unreleased material he had locked away in

his vault, and Kendrick took his advice and did it.

LeBron also played a role in Kendrick's most recent album, Damn, which dropped late

Thursday.

Prior to the release of the album, LeBron previewed tracks from it on Instagram and

gave fans a taste of what they could expect from the project.

He was very enthusiastic about the album and wasn't afraid to show it as he played songs

from Damn.

But LeBron isn't the only NBA player who loves listening to Kendrick.

On Thursday night, there were no NBA games scheduled for the first time since Thanksgiving

following the regular season finales on Wednesday.

So that allowed for all of the NBA players out there to join the rest of us in listening

to Kendrick's album when it dropped.

And many of them were just as happy to hear what Kendrick released as LeBron was when

he previewed the songs.

Spurs guard Kyle Anderson told his Twitter followers he plans on playing Damn throughout

San Antonio's playoff run.

"K dot for the playoffs."

Warriors forward Matt Barnes showed everyone that he was bumping Kendrick's new song

"Lust" on Instagram and urged his IG followers to do the same.

"Roll call…Calling out all the frauds, make sure you cop god DAMM!"

And other players, like Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Kings guard Garrett Temple, used

the title of Kendrick's album to describe how they felt about it.

"DAMN #kdot"

"DAMN (exactly what I thought when I heard the cd)"

Athletes from other sports chimed in, too.

NFL running back Jonathan Stewart, for example, was up late listening to the new Kendrick.

"Kendrick Lamar"

But no one seems to enjoy Kendrick's music more than NBA players.

And while LeBron is still Kendrick's No. 1 fan in the league, it's clear that more

and more guys are jumping on the bandwagon.

That's the news for now, but for all of the latest news on LeBron and Kendrick, subscribe
