VR Shinecon Virtual Reality headset REVIEW - Duration: 4:04.Hi this is Phil from Make Tech Easier and welcome to our review of the
VR Shinecon virtual reality glasses. Virtual reality is still big news. Since
the 90s companies have been trying to float this technology into the mass
market and every once in a while there's a surge of interest. The development of
high-end VR kit like the Oculus and HTC Vive fueled the current interest and
although in recent months it's taken a bit of a dive there's still a lot of VR
software and hardware out there to enjoy. It's at the low end that the fun VR
really starts. The Google cardboard caught everyone's imagination as a cheap
VR headset which lowered the cost of entry into VR overnight. Now as you know
there's a whole category of VR phone based software on both the major app
stores and development seems to be continuing. After the cardboard
manufacturers made more durable plastic headsets and this VR Shinecon is a good
example. VR Shinecon in use. Although it's inexpensive the unit seems
surprisingly solid in the hand and the build quality and finishing are actually
pretty darn good. It seems like a much more solid and expensive unit than it is
which is great. Unlike a lot of units there are focus wheels for adjusting the
distance to your phone when it's inside. There's also a pupil distance wheel in
the center which adjusts the distance between the two lenses the lenses are
pretty good with some chromatic aberration and red and blue edge lines
but nothing horrible. The place where your face fits into the unit is padded
and comfortable and the straps which clamp the unit to your head are wide and
strong they have velcro adjustment to get the straps exactly the right length
for your comfort. Inside there is an adjustable clamp inside the lid which
keeps your phone in position without crushing it. Also the faceplate the front
of your phone rests against has a soft velvety finish so is not to scratch your
precious phone glass. For some applications, like augmented reality, the
front of the unit is held on by magnets so you can pop it off to
reveal the phone camera. To use the unit for VR download a VR app from Google
Play or the iOS app store and run it then put your phone in the headset, make
sure the center line of the image is lined up and close the lid. In addition
to the headset you get a free mini Bluetooth gamepad which helps you to
interact with the VR apps without having to open the unit and touch the screen. This is
terrific because not only does this work with VR games but also with other games.
That's a nice bonus. Conclusion considering the price this is a pretty
decent VR headset. It works best with the bigger screen phones, as do all VR
headsets for phones, but it does OK even with an iPhone 5. It's comfortable to
wear, opens and closes firmly and hold your phone steady inside so it doesn't
move around while your head moves. The optics are quite good and obviously not
very expensive which means there is sometimes a small amount of chromatic
aberration at the edges of objects but in use this is not an issue. For the most
part you won't even notice it. Also because the lenses can be focused you
get far less eye strain than you do with cheap fixed focus units. OK the rating
for this review is 9 out of 10. Here are the pros: great build quality, it has good
enough optics, but focusing wheels reduce eye strain and make for an immersive
experience. The unit is comfortable in use stays put on your head and holds your
phone securely. It feels like an item of equipment rather than a toy. Okay so
here's the cons: it's actually hard to come up with any cons without sounding
like we're nitpicking - the optics could be better but that would bump up the
cost. OK that's it for now. If you enjoyed this video one like, subscribe and add

1.2 - From 1G to 4G & Towards 5G - Evolution Of Communication - Duration: 10:33.Has it ever struck your curious mind how 4G evolved from simple Push to talk system ?
Is there any governing body which regulates the spectrum ?
what kind of services we will have in next generation of communication?
So friends, Lets start the journey of wireless communication.
Mobile radio telephones were introduced for military communications in the early 20th
century. Car-based telephones was first tested in Saint Louis in 1946. This system used a
single large transmitter on top of a high rise building. A single channel was used for
sending and receiving similar to a half duplex system. To talk, the user pushed a button
that enabled transmission and disabled reception. Due to this, these became known as "push-to-talk"
systems in the 1950s. To allow users to talk and listen at the same time,
IMTS (Improved Mobile Telephone System) was introduced in the 1960s. It used two channels one for sending
and one for receiving bringing telecommunication to full duplex mode.
In the 1970s Private companies have started developing their own systems to evolve the
existing system further. Those private systems are Analogue Mobile Phone System, used in America,
Total Access Communication System and Nordic Mobile Telephone, used in parts of Europe
and Japanese Total Access Communication System, used in Japan and Hong Kong.
Independently developed systems are called as 1st Generation communication. It was introduced
in 1982 by Bell Labs and popularly known as Advanced Mobile Phone System (AMPS). The key
idea here was to divide geographical areas into cells. and each cell was served by a
base station so that frequency reuse can be implemented. As a result AMPS could support
5 to 10 times more users than IMTS. Major concern for the 1st generation was weak Security
on air interface, full analog mode of communication. and No roaming.
Now, To implement roaming. Individual organisations started working under one umbrella, European
Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and developed 2nd Generation system.
Second generation cellular telecom networks were commercially launched in 1991 in Finland
based on GSM standards. It could deliver data at the rate of up to 9.6 Kbps.
Three primary benefits of 2G networks over their predecessors were.
phone conversations were now digitally encrypted. It was significantly more efficient on the
spectrum and allowed far greater mobile phone penetration level.
2G introduced data services for mobile, starting with SMS text message.
Further To achieve higher data rates GSM carriers started developing a service called General
Packet Radio Service (GPRS). This system overlaid a packet switching network on the existing
circuit switched GSM network. GPRS could transmit data at up to 160 Kbps
The phase after GPRS is called Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE). It introduced
8 PSK modulation and could deliver data at up to 500 Kbps using the same GPRS infrastructure.
During this time the internet was becoming popular and data services were becoming more
prevalent. Post 2.5G, Multimedia services and streaming started growing and Phones now
started supporting web browsing. Development of 3G,
3GPP UMTS, the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System succeeded EDGE in 1999.This system
uses Wideband CDMA ( W-CDMA) to carry the radio transmissions, and often the system
is referred to by the name WCDMA.
Now before we go further let us understand how the governing bodies were developed.
In the interests of producing truly global standards, the collaboration for both GSM
and UMTS was expanded further from ETSI to encompass regional Standards Development Organizations
such as ARIB and TTC from Japan, TTA from Korea, ATIS from North America and CCSA from
China The successful creation of such a large and
complex system specification required a well-structured organization. This gave birth to 3GPP and
which worked under the observation of ITU-R. ITU-R is one of the sector of ITU, Its role
is to manage the international radio-frequency spectrum and to ensure the effective use of
spectrum. ITU-R defines technology families and associates specific parts of the spectrum
with these families. ITU-R also proposed requirement for radio technology.
3 organization started developing standards to meet the requirements proposed by ITU-R.
3GPP, 3GPP2, IEEE Evolution of 3gpp, started from GSM to Long
term evolution Advanced. Evolution of 3GPP2, started from IS95 to CDMA
Revision B. Evolution of IEEE started from 802.16 Fixed
Wimax, to 8o2.16M
Since 3GPP was dominated and widely accepted, we will only incorporated roadmap evolved
by 3GPP.
Now coming back to 3rd Generation. The goal of UMTS or 3G wireless systems was
to provide a minimum data rate of 2 Mbit/s for stationary or walking users, and 384 kbit/s
in a moving vehicle. 3GPP designated it as Release 99.
The upgrades and additional facilities were introduced at successive releases of the 3GPP
standard. Release 4: This release of the 3GPP standard
provided for the efficient use of IP, this was a key enabler for 3G HSDPA.
Release 5: This release included the core of HSDPA. It provided reduced delays for downlink
packet and provided a data rate of 14 Mbps. Release 6: This included the core of HSUPA
with a reduction in uplink delay it enhanced uplink raw data rate of 5.74 Mbps. This release
also included MBMS for broadcasting services. Release 7: This release of the 3GPP standard
included downlink MIMO operation as well as support for higher order modulation of up
to 64-QAM. Either MIMO or 64-QAM could be used at a time.Evolved HSPA provides data
rates up to 28 Mbit/s in the downlink and 11 Mbit/s in the uplink.
This brings us to the most awaited part. 4th generation System. Long term evolution (LTE)
Initial goal of telecommunication was mobility and global connectivity, but as the technology
evolved the Services started expanding. Now Services were not restricted to Voice and
SMS only. For This expansion and efficient execution in LTE, whole new architecture was
adopted for both non Radio part ( SAE System Architecture Evolution) and Radio part using
pure IP Architecture (packet switching)
To fulfill the requirement proposed by ITU-R, Study group formed and LTE standardization
began in 2004. Large number of telecom companies collaborated to achieve their common vision.
In June 2005 Release 8 was finally crystallized after series of refining.
Some of the significant features of Release 8 were-
• reduced delays, for both connection establishment and transmission latency;
• increased user data throughput; • increased cell-edge bit-rate, for uniformity
of service provision; • reduced cost per bit, implying improved
spectral efficiency. • simplified network architecture;
• seamless mobility, including between different radio-access technologies;
• reasonable power consumption for the mobile terminal.
These requirements were fulfilled by advancement in the underlying mobile radio technology.
The three fundamental technologies that have shaped the LTE radio interface design were:
multicarrier technology, multiple-antenna technology, and the application of packet-switching
to the radio interface.
As a result of intense activity by a larger number of organisations, the specifications
for the Release 8 was completed by December 2007. The first commercial deployment took
place by the end of 2009 in northern Europe.
In The subsequent releases multiple services such as Multi Cell HSDPA, HETNET, Coordinate
Multipoint, Carrier Aggregation, Massive MIMO and many more were targeted for a rich customer
experience.
Now it's time to move from services to multiservices approach, in other word from LTE Advanced
to next Generation communication system which is 5th Generation.
Features have been planned to be added in the 5th Generation Or next generation systems
are, Pervasive networks : where a user can concurrently
be connected to several wireless access technologies and seamlessly move between them.
Group cooperative relay: This is a technique that is being considered to make the high
data rates available over a wider area of the cell.
Cognitive radio technology: it would enable the user equipment / handset to look at the
radio landscape in which it is located and choose the optimum radio access network, modulation
scheme and other parameters to configure itself to gain the best connection and optimum performance.
Smart antennas: Another major element of any 5G cellular system will be that of smart antennas.
Using these it will be possible to alter the beam direction to enable more direct communications
and limit interference and increase overall cell capacity.
So friends, here we have covered history of wireless communication starting from single
channel based Push to Talk system to, multiple services based purely advanced digital communication
system. In the future videos we will start exploring
fundamental of advanced communication which will help us to understand next generation
system better. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel,

Coconut Oil Is Not Healthy, It Never Was: Research Says - Duration: 2:14.Coconut Oil Is Not Healthy, It Never Was: Research Says
American Health Association (AHA) has conducted a thorough research and published a report
about the unhealthy effects of coconut oil.
The health Association recommends not to use coconut oil because it is not good for health
and carries more fat than any other fat carrying oil.
The coconut oil released saturated fats like butter, beef and palm oil does and almost
same in composition but coconut oil fats are beyond all.
The American Heart Association reveals coconut oil increases LDL, bad cholesterol, and causes
cardiovascular diseases having no offset effects.
Frank Sack, a leading author of report worries why people think coconut oil is good for health
whether it is 100 % fat.
The past studies and researches on weight loss might not be able to grasp whole scientific
approach that is why people think coconut oil can help in weight loss.
Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCT) is unit of all oils and fats but coconut oil has it's
more amount than other oils, Marie-Pierre St-Onge said.
Here a problem lies with the research as the doctor use coconut oil as 100 MCT while traditional
coconut oil has 15% of fats which means smaller amounts of MCT does not help in losing weight.
The American Health Association recommends not exceed more than 6% use of such fats.
Being influenced by above-mentioned arguments, before trash your coconut oil, there are some
points of worth importance.
The saturated fat is overloaded terminology and AHA warns to avoid it through lower the
use of coconut does not lower the risk of heart disease.
Some fats do help body to absorb nutrients from another diet.
Some might criticise butter as well but does not mean every speculation holds the truth.
But the doctors make the very interesting choice about coconut oil which is not healthy
by saying you can put coconut oil on your body but cannot put in your body.

BREAKING: They Just BANNED It! Conservatives Celebrating! - Duration: 2:58.BREAKING: They Just BANNED It!
Conservatives Celebrating!
We are all familiar with school and/or work dress codes but have you ever heard of a town
or a state having a dress code?
Do you think that the town or state you live in should be the ones to determine what clothing
you should be able to wear and how to wear it and if you don't follow it you will have
to pay fines?
One town is currently trying to pass a new law banning certain clothing and people are
not happy about it.
This new law paves the way for law enforcement to be able to contact certain individuals
that feel might doing something wrong.
According to USA Today, Better pull those britches up!
A South Carolina town passed an ordinance on Tuesday banning saggy pants that "intentionally"
display undergarments, according to local reports.
The Timmonsville Town Council approved the new rules on Tuesday night in a 5-1 vote,
WBTW-TV reported.
The ordinance bans people from being naked in public, showing pornographic material and
from wearing pants that show their underwear.
Under the new ordinance, law enforcement will give first offenders a verbal warning, and
second-time offenders may be placed in a registry of repeat offenders.
For those who break the ordinance up to three times, a $100 to $600 fine may be issued,
according to WMBF-TV.
Timmonsville Mayor Pro Tem William James, Jr., said the ordinance is about self-respect,
WMBF-TV reported.
On the Timmonsville town Facebook page, some commented that the ordinance was long overdue.
"It's about time that someone does something," April McKee Biddle said in a comment.
"It is indecent.
My 8-year-olds have pointed out to me men with their belt buckles right over their privates.
That, in my eyes, is very near exposure."
And while the measure may seem extreme, Townville isn't the first town to pass dress code
measures targeting saggy pants.
Laws banning saggy pants kept popping up in the news several years ago, though the measures
weren't all well received.
A Florida town repealed its saggy pants law shortly after is passed in 2014 when the National
Association for the Advancement of Colored People threatened to sue, WKMG-TV reported.
It makes me wonder what they are trying to accomplish with passing these laws and if
the problem is really that bad there.
It might just be me, but it seems like the government could be using their resources
on bigger issues that the state currently faces.
Share your thoughts on whether or not you think this law is going too far or if you
agree with it.
What other crazy laws have your state or town passed?
What do you think about this?

SIMON BLACK - Interview (French Subtitles) - Duration: 7:14.Hi my name is Simon black and I do magic and cardistry and I try to integrate
both into an experience that is truly impossible for my spectators that's
really what I'm looking for is to have them be entertained and have them
experienced something that they never thought they would ever see in their
real lives and that they'll never forget
it's really hard I think to define what magic is in the first place let alone my
own and because I'm so young I'm 22 and I really only just begun my journey in
this art but so it's really hard for me to define it because I really still
don't know who I am as a person let alone a magician but if I was gonna
define my magic I would say that it's visual magic mixed with mental effects
in order to create this really interesting balance of technical skill
and mental like it's pure impossibility that's really what I'm going for
Derren Brown definitely, Juan Tamariz and Garrett Thomas
Garrett Thomas, I think , is a really amazing mix of like making you think that you're in a dream
and crazy technical skill
Juan Tamariz for like emotional like Wonder and just like pure
effect which is actually crazy because that's what Derren Brown wrote a
book called pure effect but you get what I'm saying here they're both like Derren
Brown and Juan Tamariz, they both have this ability to transport spectators
into making them think that they're a god and it's like amazing !
magic European magic is amazing especially when it's in the Mother
Language I think that someone who is trying to perform magic for spectators
in a language that is foreign is really difficult so when you're performing
magic for French people in French it's like there's this really emotional bond
I think that it's like transmitted between performer and audience and it's
hard to kind of have that in America because something about the language of
French and Spanish just like provides all this crazy
emotional connection and it's like really awesome and you know how great
the Spanish magicians are they need to say so specifically French magic I've
seen nothing but amazing you
well there are two ways if you think about it one you could work forward and
say okay this is the start of the effect and you solve it like a maze and the
back and the other way is solving it like a puzzle where you know what it's
supposed to look like at the end and you have to put all the pieces together
right so at the end when you have an idea for an effect which is the one I
prefer the second one you'd have an idea for how you want to end in effect and
then you reverse engineer it from that position and you have a position before
that before that until you have the start of the effect pick a cart or
whatever it is right and then from there you could really build a strong effect
because you know in your mind with the light at the end of the tunnel it kind
of look like for me it's not really it doesn't matter if a trick is technical
or psychological or subtlety base all that matters is the effect right so for
me personally and I think this is of like Aussie or Garrett or Tamara's if a
trick requires a crazy technical skill I will learn that skills ready if you
required me to memorize something and saying like a system I will memorize it
it requires me to learn some sort of like a random thing or something I will
do it right if it requires me to build a crazy gap I will build it it's all for
the effect anything for the effect so to me it doesn't matter if it's technical
as long as the effective strong
if I Wow I hate this question not because it's
bad because it's good because I have no idea I have absolutely no idea I want to
have my own like my dream is to have my own show that's ticketed that the lay
public can just come to you know at a theater in Italy amazing oh my god dude
we're gonna take over or ninjas man ha ha we're gonna destroy dude my friends
and I do - all of us oh my god you have no idea what's coming
because I don't know what's coming in 10 years that's it that ties into the
previous question row in 10 years think about this how good you are right or you
how good you are how good you are right in 10 years they're gonna be a monster
right we're gonna destroy the planet
a beautiful sound is way more powerful than a loud sound and they were
referring as not even a magician they gave it to me
but I think he's a wizard with a guitar that's my guitar teacher and the idea is
that you don't have to be big and boisterous your personality has to be
able to be have gravity right and importance so if what you're doing is
beautiful people will watch last year I met the man that changed my life and
that was a man named fatty dabs and he's amazing as a magician and Cardus but
more importantly as a human being and a ninja and you really affected the way
that my life has unfolded in the past year and a half and I cannot thank him
enough for that it was like Eddie you did influence on me my personality like
changing it to be a better human being you know I just give me like more twenty
bees
