hey everyone and welcome to test maxi naked test: BMW and Yamaha
BMW S1000R, this one comes from the 2017 RR, it takes everything from that bike, it has a 4-in line cylinder engine, with a great power, more powerful compared to the Yamaha
It's extremely sporty, the riding position isn't too tiring, even when going fast, it's suitable for an everyday use
It has many accessories like heated grips, cruise control and electronic suspensions that make this motorcycle suitable both for touring and for a track use
It has semi-active Sachs suspensions but, compared to Yamaha, on this one you just have standard set ups. It's very good on road, not so good on trrack, since you cannot customize the set up
This engine goes very fast on track, it's crazy. On top of that, the quickshift is much better compared to the older model. It's very smooth
The riding position is suitable for a road use, while on track the pegs are a bit too forward, just like all the motorcycles that aren't specifically meant for track
Let's talk about the Yamaha. Its riding position is halfway between a naked and a motard, with a high handlebar, relaxed pegs, low seat but very hard
we can't say it's not comfortable, since the riding position is good, it's very fun on twisty roads and, despite its 158HP, it's pretty easy to ride compared to the BMW
the engine: It comes from the YZFR1 with the CrossPlane Big Bang engine which is very rich at mid range RPM, even though the R1 has a power of almost 200HP. It's an amazing engine with Traction Control and Anti wheelie control, it's something amazing
Today we have here the SP version with Ohlins semi-active suspensions. Compared to the BMW you can set up the different parameters of every riding modes
The S1000R has: Traction Control, which can be set up. There's the Cornering ABS,There's the quickshift with upshift and downshift and there are semi-active suspensions. It's very complete
It's verysimilar to Yamaha, which has the same TC which can be set up on different levels, electronic suspensions, Cornering ABS, while the quickshift work on upshifting only
The SP is comfortable and the only bad thing about it is the space for the passenger, with an extremely small and hard seat, while the pegs are uncomfortable
The S1000R has almost no space for the passenger, but it's better for the passenger
The Yamaha has a motard riding set up. It's agile and very stable at high speed, it tends to do wheelies, while the braking is extremely good, more road oriented rather than track oriented, but it always has a good response even on track. It's very scalable
overall this is a very fast motorcycle,with a long 1st gear and the other ones short. It's very good for when riding sporty, a bit less fun on twisty roads
The S1000R is suitable for a wide range of conditions, it's good for when going for a relaxed ride,but when you go on track it's amazing. The front end tends to get a bit too lite coming out from turns, but when cornering it has a great grip
The shift is very fast, with a very nice popping sound when downshifting, it's very fun
when going very fast, the braking system has very good Brembo Calipers, but the brake master cylinder that has a long travel when riding on track
On track it's amazing, since it comes from a superbike. The engine screams loud, it's very fast, cornering is really good, unfortunately the pegs don't have a great clearance from the ground
what we have noticed is that when pushing very hard, the front end tends to feel a bit too light
As I have already said, the braking system tends to get stressed on track
Talking about the Yamaha, the riding position is more backwards, the front fork has a longer travel, making it a bit more unstable when getting inside a turn, but then it's very precise, especially when coming out from a turn
It gives a lot of confidence, the pegs are a bit too low and they tend to drag on the tarmac, especially if you have track tires. The BMW is more precise when approaching a turn
the Yamaha feels a bit less precise but when we have checked the lap time, they're extremely similar, which is weird for such different motorcycles, even though the Yahama seemed to be a bit faster, despite being less powerful
We had almos forgotten to say thatwe had to remove the passenger's pegs from the Yamaha since they hit our boots getting them stuck
These two bikes are very high level, the finishes are very well done with good plastics and components, there are some undertone details like the plastics here that look a bit too cheap aand some details that could have been hidden better
Even BMW has some great details like the assemblies and paintings, realy nice switches which have a great feedback and every switch has its own function
unfortunately, then I don't really like these black plastic details, the Akrapovic muffler is great, but it's an optional, while the cockpit here is a bit older compared to the TFT display of the Yamaha, but it's easy to read
What about the price? The Yamaha costs 16,190 euro, which is more expensive than the standard model since this is an SP version
The BMW has a price of 13,950, but with all the accessories it has here with the Akrapovic muffler, forged rims, Comfort pack and heated grips, the price goes up to 17,750 euro
we can't really say which one has won since they're different one from another. They're both fun and fast, but the best one is the best according to your needs and to your riding style

How to install custom apks on Android Auto
In this video I explain step by step to make it work (for now).
First. Go into the Play Store and disable auto update on settings.
Then install AA 2.9 apk
Must downgrade Google play services,
Install version 12.2.21 for your device,
Video information links download
Install version 12.2.21 for your device, Arm, Arm64 and select dpi.
ok
Download Android custom apps you want
and keep in mind the folder
we need it later
Connect the phone to the PC
and open ADB program
adb devices
To confirm the correct connection
Now enter this code + Path Apk
Replacing Path APK with the location
adb shell pm install -i "com.android.vending" -r Path Apk
In the video information I leave the command too
success install
Disconnect phone from PC
If an error appears, we must end the ADB program
Then, remove safely
now
Open Android Auto App.
Click 'about android auto'.
Tap the screen header repeatedly until it enables developer options.
Open developer options and click 'install from unknown sources'.
It should work.
In the car
IMPORTANT
you should have "Adroid Auto" as audio source
If you press the OEM button on the right side of the Android Auto
You should see Apks in that menu.

open a file from the phone's internal memory

Full screen for different formats according your display
I'm going to try the other apps

to keep it work in the future
I did a backup of all settings from Android Auto
and all the third party apps with Titanium
so that when i switch roms or upgrade
I just need to restore the backup.
it only takes a few minutes and it's been working that way with no problems
Assuming the current 'beta' 12.5. will soon become the 'standard'

of Aviation Adventures by Lego Creator
Set number 31011.
Contains 618 pieces.
Recommended building ages are 8 through 12.
It just so happens I got another copy of Aviation Adventures.
From what I can remember, it is a really good set.
Let's take a closer look at some of the parts
that are inside this set.
I know it has a lot of plates
and of course instruction manuals.
Get those out of the way.
This is what we're interested in.
So let me unpack everything,
and we'll come back and see what parts are inside.
The first thing that I can see
is that the set does come with a brick Separator.
These always come in handy.
We do have several bright blue plates.
Mostly 4 by 6 plates.
A few 2 by 16 plates.
These always come in handy
for crowning off top of walls and such.
Lots of bright blue, yellow, white, and black.
A few bricks with bow.
Some metallic round Technic thing-a-ma jig
[Laughs] I don't know what that's called.
Windscreen.
There's two windscreens.
A couple of plates that have been modified with angles.
Modified inverted slopes.
So there is a few dark blue.
Not a whole lot of bricks.
This is a great source for plates,
but not a lot of building bricks.
I do see some Technic bricks,
Technic plates,
and a few Technic beams.
These always come in handy.
This appears to be a 1 by 8 Technic plate with teeth.
These are good for making vehicles.
Lots of custom plates.
See, here's a Technic beam.
Lots of studs.
Mainly just plates.
So if you're looking for a set with building bricks,
this doens't have the bricks you need.
However this is a really a good valuable source for plates.

So these are the sources I've been using this week. I'll put the links down below as usual. And now I'll be going back and
forth between the song and the syncopation practice. I'm not that good
at either and it's sometimes kind of boring so this just highlights my
difficulties and efforts. Andy Guitar and especially the Knopfler vid are

that's why I had so much difficulty with 20 beats per minute:
