-So, you spend an inordinate amount of time on the road

trying to look cool.

I have found that

that's more work than it's worth,

especially when you can have an entire tour

where you are sort of graceful and you hit your marks

and you're playing and there's no big disaster.

That was the case one year.

At the end of a tour,

we were closing down the whole thing,

last song of the tour.

It's a song of mine called "Alcohol."

We always end with that, appropriately.

And there I am on the stage,

and I'm kind of running across the stage,

and we have these ramps on each side,

and I was sprinting to wave to one side.

I had just handed my hat

to a little kid in the front row.

I'm waving over here, and then I take off running

to go over to the other side.

And I'm coming down that ramp,

and I'm running like I am in the Olympics,

and my boot catches something on the carpet,

and I go down.

And I mean when I go down, I'm airborne.

And as I'm going, I take the guitar to save it,

and I lift it up, but I hit right here on my pelvic bone,

and I land on the stage with full force

and thought for sure in that instant --

I had this searing pain up my side -- I thought,

"Oh, man, I have broken my hip on the last song of this tour."

So I start to get up, and you see me wince,

and I go fall back down.

And I get up, and I just kind of wave goodbye

and walk out through the doors in the middle of the stage,

which is the exit,

and collapse on the other side of the doors

into a pile on the floor.

They have an ambulance at every tour

in case there's somebody that gets drunk

or sick or whatever

and they have to rush somebody to the hospital.

They don't usually expect it to be the artist.

So I go, and the next thing you know,

I'm in the Charleston, South Carolina, ER

getting an MRI on my hip.

And it's good. I was just bruised.

But I got a bruise the size of a football

up the side of my -- my pelvis here

that looked like -- I mean, it really --

it looked like it had laces on it.

It was one of the more embarrassing things.

But immediately, I was tweeting from the emergency room,

"All right. Who's got the video?

I want to see it. Put it up."

And a guy was really cool about it.

He wrote me and said, "I have the video.

If it's cool, I'll put it up,

but I won't put it up if you're embarrassed."

And I said, "Oh, I'm embarrassed. Put it up."

And he actually put that up.

And within minutes, it was online,

and I was able to see it in all its glory.

Jeep Wrangler JK RedRock 4x4 Eagle Eye Grille (2007-2018) Review & Install - Duration: 9:49.

Hey.

What's up, guys?

I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain and today I'm here with the RedRock 4x4 Eagle Eye Grille,

fitting you're 2007 to 2018 Wrangler JK.

This is gonna be for the Jeep owner looking to change up and add to the appearance of

their JK for a more aggressive look.

This grille is made of tough ABS plastic, so it's gonna be stronger than the stock and

it's gonna add additional protection to those vital parts behind your grille from road and

trail debris.

And a black matte finish is gonna go with any paint color scheme and is subtle and the

finish is designed to withstand the elements keeping your grille looking new.

Now this is designed to be a direct bolt-on replacement and it comes with everything needed

to install, so there's no drilling or cutting required making for a very easy install.

This is gonna be one of your most affordable options on this site at around $130 and it

even has great feedback from customers.

As far as the install goes, I'm gonna give this a one out of three wrenches, since you

can install this in about 30 minutes using basic hand tools.

Now, with that being said, let's hop on to the install.

So to begin this installation, we're gonna need to remove our factory grille.

To do that, we're gonna start by opening our hood so we can access the pushpins up top.

So there are six pushpins that you'll need to remove out at the top of the grille.

This is done by prying up on the center, you can use a flathead screwdriver, and then pulling

that pin all the way out.

So next we're gonna need to separate the bottom of the grille.

Now, this is just a series of clips and the grille is pushed in so we're gonna pull firmly

out on that and pull it away, so we can disconnect our lights.

So now that we have access to the lights, we're gonna disconnect the harness from the

plug.

So what we're gonna do is pry out on this red locking tab.

Once that slides all the way out, we can press our release and that will allow us to unplug

then.

We're gonna do the same thing for the other side, prying out on that red locking tab and

then pressing our release so we can unplug our light.

Once you have everything disconnected, you're ready to remove your grille.

So with our stock grille completely unassembled, we're just about ready to install this new

Eagle-Eye grille from RedRock.

However, we still have to do some assembly with the new grille.

And I wanna take a moment to go over some of the features and compare it to the stock

one.

Now, this new grille is a little more aggressive looking than the stock grille and it's a little

stronger plastic.

It's made of high-grade ABS plastic which is known for its lightweight, durability,

and impact resistance.

Like I said, it is gonna be a little more aggressive looking and it is matte black,

which is gonna give you a sleek and aesthetic look.

It is also paintable, so if you wanted to match your Jeep, you can do that.

Now, this new grille has cutouts for the headlights and it also accepts the factory turn signals,

which is really nice and they give you all the hardware you need to swap all that stuff

over.

This has a wide open grille, so it's gonna give you plenty of airflow just like the stock

one and it also has this mesh screen behind, which is gonna shield from any road and trail

debris that you may encounter.

So with that being said, let's switch over these turn signals, get these ready to install

and show you how it looks on the Jeep.

So we're gonna flip our factory grille over and remove our turn signals.

This is relatively easy to do, as it's just held in by two clips.

So you're gonna have two clips on the light that are pushing through.

We're gonna press these tabs back.

And this is gonna allow the light to drop down.

We're gonna do that for both of them and then this light will slide out.

You're gonna do the same thing for the other side.

So we're gonna place our new grille down and get ready to install our turn signals in our

new grille.

So next step, we're gonna install these brackets that RedRock provides with the hardware they

give us.

Now these brackets hold our turn signals in, we're actually gonna install the lights on

these brackets and then screw them in.

The brackets are marked left and right as well as your turn signals, so that's gonna

take the confusion out of everything.

First, we're gonna remove this socket out of our light.

So you're just gonna twist that, that's gonna disconnect and then we can pull that out,

set that aside.

Next, we're gonna take our bracket, and we're gonna place that on top of our light, and

then that is just gonna click down on there.

You wanna make sure that these little tabs engage and that will hold the bracket on.

Once we've done that, we're gonna go ahead and install this on top over the holes.

And we're gonna use a Philips head screwdriver to install the provided screws.

After we've already done that, we can reinstall our bulb and socket.

Now, we're gonna go to the other side, we're gonna do the same thing.

First, we're gonna remove that bulb and socket.

Then, we're gonna attach it to our bracket, making sure that that clicks firmly in place,

and then we can install it.

And then we can reinstall our bulb and socket.

So last but not least we're gonna install our metal clips that RedRock provides us.

There's gonna be four tabs down here.

We're gonna install these.

These just push right over on top.

This is gonna hold the bottom of the grille in.

So you wanna center these over top and then just press down on them firmly.

They're gonna slide down and they have little teeth in them that'll keep them on.

After that, we're ready to install it on the Jeep.

All right, so now that we have this thing fully assembled, we're ready to install it

on the Jeep.

You wanna make sure that you plug those turn signals back in before we push everything

in.

So we're gonna click all our plugs back on making sure that they firmly click and then

remember to push that red locking tab there.

We're gonna do the same thing for the other side.

Next, we're gonna start with the bottom.

We're gonna line up all those clips, and we're gonna get those pressed in.

Once we have those pressed in, we can start putting our push pins in the top, push our

grille back making sure that, that radiator cover goes underneath of it.

You may need to lift up slightly and then we're gonna install the supplied new pushpins.

So these are gonna go right in that hole.

We're just gonna click those down.

So the last step to this install before you close your hood, we're gonna install this

weather seal.

This is gonna go along the top of the grille.

So we're gonna pull the backing off of this double-sided tape.

Then we're gonna line up the center as best as we can.

And then glue this thing down.

Now, this whole edge eventually is going to fold backwards when you shut the hood and

that's gonna keep a nice tight seal and keep your hood flapping a little bit.

After you have this seal on, you are ready to close your hood.

And make sure that this tucks inside of our hood.

And then after you have it shut for a while, it will mold itself and be a little easier.

So that's gonna wrap up my review and install.

South Korea's budget for next year will be greatly increased,... and drawn up in a manner

that aids job creation.

Meeting to hash out the details today,... the Democratic Party of Korea and the government

vowed to use active fiscal policies to improve people's lives.

For starters,... the funds allotted to solving the employment issue will be the highest ever...

so as to better implement the government's related policies with hopes of spurring job

growth.

There are also plans to hike the budget used to support the socially vulnerable.... and

those in the low-income bracket.

A bigger portion will be set aside for regional infrastructure projects related to people's

daily lives.

The ruling party and the government promised to work hand-in-hand.... so the budget doesn't

hurt the country's fiscal soundness.

Second round of inter-Korean family reunions begins tomorrow - Duration: 2:10.

It's registration day for the participants heading to the second round of reunions for

families separated by the Korean War.

The first group parted ways, preferring to say till we meet again.

Today, our Park Hee-jun is in Sokcho, near the inter-Korean border,... where the elderly

citizens have gathered ahead of their trip up North.

Hee-jun, we understand there are no words to describe the emotions coursing through

their body right now.

.

That's right Daniel.

Not even the weather can ruin the mood ahead of the reunion.

After tonight,... these people will get to reunite with their loved ones in North Korea,

which for them, is like a dream come true.

These are the South Korean relatives of the 81 people selected by the North.

And that means 326 participants in total from the South.

They arrived here at the Hanwha Resort in Sokcho this afternoon... to register for the

event.

They told reporters how happy they are ahead of the reunion, and they also showed us the

presents they had prepared for their brothers, sisters, and other relatives.

Although many were worried about the weather,... it was clear how much they had been looking

forward to the reunion.

Tomorrow morning, these families will finally cross over to the North.

And they will be reunited with their relatives on Friday afternoon, for the first time in

nearly 7 decades.

Over three days,... they will be given a total of 12 hours to see each other.

Both group and individual reunions are planned for them throughout.

Unfortunately,... the weather could be a problem,... as Typhoon Soulik is heading toward Mount

Kumgang.

It's forecast to pass through the area on Friday,... right around the time of the first

reunion session at 3PM.

Seoul's Unification Ministry says it will closely monitor the situation,... and make

sure that safety comes before all else.

The participants are mostly senior citizens,... so if things go wrong safety-wise,... they

could be more at risk.

Officials on-site have been thoroughly inspecting the facilities,... and the two Koreas will

be keeping close contact in case of emergencies.

So far they're sticking to the plan.

But the ministry says adjusting the schedule of the reunion, could be an option,... if

the typhoon becomes too big of a threat.

But hopefully, things won't come to that for the sake of the families who have waited enough

for the reunion.

South Korea says work on inter-Korean liaison office does not violate sanctions on Pyongyang - Duration: 0:37.

Work on the inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong does not violate international sanctions

on Pyongyang.

That's what Seou's foreign ministry reiterated during a briefing today.

It's spokesperson highlighted that the power generator and petroleum sent to the regime

between June and July are solely for the convenience of the South Korean officials who will be

stationed there.

Noh Kyu-duk... explained, these materials provide no economic benefit to Pyongyang.

South Korea has been maintaining the stance... that setting up the liaison office does not

violate any international sanctions and that Seoul will continue working closely with Washington

and the international community on the matter.
