hey everyone this is the lego ninjago Oni villains battle pack I suppose this
is the first official Ninjago season 10 set to be released it's just three
figures but it's a start let me get this opened built and take a look at it huh
that's pretty striking I don't think I've ever seen a scene quite like that
from Lego this is a proper battle pack just three bad guys or three warriors
from the same side you know of a conflict and it's super massive all
because you could just get lots of these and end up with well lots of these and
an army of Oni I feel like even the token little one of the bunch is
dangerous and powerful you know he's he's got some Harmer on there he's got a
lot of weapons with two katanas on the back and then this one acts on a pole I
don't know what exact type of weapon it's supposed to be but basically it's
just an axe on a pole like a long-handled axe with a tassel on it and
yeah this looks pretty cool for like I said the the token little one it doesn't
look like this is the one that you would get rid of easily in a battle you know
that you would put out is just kind of the the fodder to get taken down most
quickly it could actually be seriously dangerous I'm not going to show you the
print on the back of the torso here or the print on the head because those are
the same on all three figures so I'll just show it to you on the next one
there you go so that's the face that you didn't see just a second ago the weapon
for this one is bizarre katana stuck to a long handle I guess
what they're going for here is a blade that is partially hollowed out you know
that just has a in milled out section of it and so it's intended to be you know
just a very long blade something bar dish like but with an even longer blade
yeah it's it's different I like weapons that are actually built
up usually this one doesn't look that great to me but
at least the pieces are good and there's what the print looks like on the back of
that torso it's a nice nice Armour piece to really like that like the shaping on
it looks like it would be pretty reusable for other themes you know good
for customizing creating your own figures from scratch then here's the big
guy that really stands out because of the horns of course you can change out
those horns if you want to anything that's the size of a bar will fit into
those two holes on the head there they didn't come up with a new mold for the
Oni mask itself we're just fine I think the print for that mask is a little bit
lacking it's just a little bit a little bit flat looking to me looks a little
bit too much like it's just painted on I feel like it needs a little bit more
depth just personal opinion the main weapon for this one also is pretty
simple it's just a staff with a tassel I like a like a bo staff interesting but
he does also have two katanas so more options there for lethality the torso
print was again it is exactly the same so there's nothing else to see on the
back of this one and underneath there this mask is attached to a regular
motorcycle helmet that is the same face again there was on the other the other
two so nothing nothing really special for this big one except for the
inclusion of the Oni mask itself the big one and I just want to do one other
thing here to turn these because I feel like this whole potential you look a
little bit more evil having the horns kind of angle forward yeah definitely a
little bit more more tourists like a Minotaur like I think I like that let me
just try it the other way as well turning these back is there multiple
ways to do it but yeah that that changes the look as well hmm maybe that's even
more Minotaur like where they come forward and then sweep back yeah I
actually think I'm not like that the the best of for the options we started out
is another that once no one's okay it looks a little bit formal to me
this is good too but now I get one they're on their angled front to back a
little bit but yeah regardless that's it so again a proper battle pack here super
super massive oh it is a little bit disappointing to me that they didn't
include just one different face because you know even though you don't see the
face behind the big bony mask there if you've got two of this set you can put
the one or one of the special faces over on this guy or something you know and
then you you would see more variety between your different troops especially
if they did something different with the eyes just slightly shaping the eyes
differently then you could put that different one on this also the same
torso prints being used between them I think this is okay no print for the legs
is a little bit weak but kind of goes with the theme here I think the only
thing that I'm not well I'm particularly unhappy about is the price 13 bucks I
mean it is Prada for the course now but we used to be able to get four figures
for that you know I always always use the benchmark of three to three and a
half dollars for figures the value of each figure in a set typically varies
but four dollars is typically what we see now for individual figures so
however you look at it this feels a little bit overpriced as these
battlepacks in the clear peg hook style packages
tend to be I've got nothing more to say about this one so I will move on and
