-You said that he helped you with your whole career.

I mean, he went to all the gigs with you.

Did you start out as an altar boy, too?

-I did. I started out as an altar boy.

I was like 8 years old, working masses.

-Me too. Working masses. Yeah.

-Yeah. Yeah. So you know.

It's a grind.

-For me it was.

I mean, I was doing the water.

so I could work the funerals and weddings for cash.

This guy wants to walk the red carpet.

I go, "Dad, I've got a wife." You know? So, uh, yeah.

-Oh, my God. That's great.

I'm happy you're back, because

you were here, was it five years ago maybe?

-Four years ago, five years ago.

-Yeah, you did your stand-up. -Yeah.

-Stand-up debut on our show.

-So I did stand-up on the show about four years ago, right?

Now, backstage I had a lot of people.

My wife, my mother, my in-laws, my managers, agents.

I felt like was hosting a party back there.

"Anybody want any cheese? Da, da, da, da, da."

So, the set, I figured, "Eh, the set's gonna be no problem."

I come out here, a minute into my set I go entirely blank.

I don't -- I forget my act.

And it felt like it was forever.

It felt like it was for like 90 minutes out here.

So, I was so nervous.

I came back here, I sat down.

I said, "I'm so sorry that happened."

He goes, "No, we'll edit it right out.

Nobody's going to know."

So tonight I wanted to show America what happened.

And I asked you guys to pull up the clip where I screw up.

-Normally we don't edit the comedians, or any of that.

We just show it like that.

But this was -- -This was bad.

[ Laughter ]

-Here's the clip.

Here's Sebastian Maniscalco's stand-up debut

on our show four years ago.

I felt like I went into a coma.

I looked at the band.

I think it's a good thing that you wanted to show that.

-These things happen. You know?

The world, look, everybody's perfect on Facebook, Instagram.

I'm telling you right now, that was probably the worst

moment of my career because I'm like --

I'm thinking to myself, never gonna be invited back.

Can I come back out again? Can I do this over?

So it was one of those moments

I was really, really distraught over.

But you know, hey, those things happen in life.

You just pick yourself up, and he invited me back.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-You got knocked down.

It's not about getting knocked down.

It's about can you get back up?

And you're back and bigger than ever, buddy.

Crispy Fried Fish Recipe | Surmai Fish Crispy Fried| My Kitchen My Dish - Duration: 11:04.

I have taken Surmai Fish pieces

I have used only middle part pieces

Take a mixing bowl for marination mixture

First Marination: Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tbsp Lehsun Aadrak paste - 2 tbsp

Add Red chili Powder - 1 tsp Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp

Add salt to taste Namak swad anusar

Add half lemon juice Aadhe nimbu ka ras dal de

Mix well sabhi cheezo ko acchi tarah mila le

Add fish piece and marinate for 10 mins

Add half Lemon juice

Add Kashmiri Red chili powder - 1 tsp Kashmiri Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp

Add Red Chili flakes - 1 tsp Kutihui Lal Mirch - 1 tsp

Add Red Chili powder - 1 tsp Teekhi Lal Mirch - 1 tsp

Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp Jeera powder - 1/4 tsp

Add Coriander powder - 1 tsp Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp

Add Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp

Add salt to taste Namak swad Anusaar

Add Coriander leaves finely chopped Har Dhaniya ki pati barik katti hui

Add little water to mix well

After 10 mins

Add Rava / Suji - 1 bowl

Add cornflour - 2 tbsp Makki ka Atta - 2 tbsp

Add red chili powder - 1 tsp Lal Mirch powder - 1 tsp

Add Jeera powder - 1/4 tsp Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp

Add Amchur powder - 1 tsp

Add salt to taste Namak swad aanusaar

Add Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Haldi powder - 1/4 tsp

Coat all piece with powder coating

Take a Non-stick Pan

Add Oil for cooking

Heat the oil well before cooking to remove mustard oil smell
