It's time to get stylin' with Sunny Day's Style Files.

Hi, it's me Sunny.

- How would you like a fiery faux-hawk? - Sounds great!

Cool! Grab the tablet. Here's what you'll need.

Hair pins, red color hair spray, glitter, hair gel,

and some fun hair pins, like lightning bolts.

Starting on one side, take a small section of hair

and twist it toward the top of your head.

When you get to the top, use hair pins to secure it in place.

Make sure the twists are nice and tight.

And pin them very closely to your scalp.

Continue this step down the entire side of your head.

Twist...

And pin.

Keep twisting all the way to the back of your head.

You're halfway there!

Now time for the other side.

Twist...

And pin.

All the way to the front.

Great work!

Use hair gel to shape your faux-hawk.

Put some on your fingers, and gently twist your hair

to create a spiky look.

- Cool! - Epic.

Now it's time to spray it red.

Cover your head with a paper towel, so you only spray your faux-hawk.

Color both sides until they're totally red.

Whoa!

Now carefully sprinkle glitter into the faux-hawk.

Look at that sparkle!

You can finish your look with lightning hair pins.

Welcome to another episode of Deliverance Ministry.FM where we give you proven insights

about the demonic realm and deliverance ministry so that you can be more effective in waging

spiritual warfare.

This Dr Don Ibbitson here again with my cohost and colleague, Dr Phyllis.

Afternoon.

Good to have you here.

As always, we very much enjoyed doing these.

Welcome to episode 48 and before we get into it too far, I want to encourage you to go

back and listen to episode 47.

Yeah, you need to do that first.

If you haven't done that, please do that.

You know, stop your, your player, whatever it is.

Because this is part two of a two part series.

And in the first session we introduced the notion and concept or all of it, the demonic

stronghold or spirit of Jezebel.

We're titling this now podcast, understanding Jezebel demonic principality.

And in that first episode we talked in general terms of the, the, the principality spirit

of Jezebel, its influence on the earthly spirits, you know, other things working in people,

you know, control, manipulation is sort of a seducing spirit and touched on and how we

see it working in people's lives and certainly in the church.

So encourage you to, to really go back and listen to that because as they say, it is

kind of an overview.

And where we left it last time and where we're going to go on from today is to just talk

about the notion of Jezebel or not, the notion rather the specifics of a warnings or indicators.

Because hopefully as you listen to the first episode, you might be wondering, well, do

you know two things?

Is there a, do I have a spirit of Jezebel and slash, or am I in our church that's under

the control of that?

And am I being attacked from being attacked by his spirit of jazzy?

So where we're going to try to address those issues today, as I, as we touched on the last

time, we, we really see the spirit operating a lot in churches and certainly you see in

operating over families, but a lot of times you'll see it doing a lot of damage in churches.

So, um, I think that's an important place to start and we were going to share with you

some things we learned on our own, but you might want to start by telling our experience

last October, right when we were out at a, we went to a seminar, a seminar, odd.

Actually we were asked to speak at the international seminar of deliverance ministers out in, um,

at the Glory of Zion in Texas.

And one of the speakers that was there was Jennifer Leclaire and she's got a lot of good

books out on decibel.

So if you ever need to reference any of them, I think she's got like two or three.

Uh, one of the ones that is most recent is Jezza bells puppets and that the agenda of

a decibel spirit.

So always good reference.

But you know, she talks about it as a wicked spirit that roamed the earth for thousands

of years seeking someone to entice into sin.

But decibel is more than a spirit of control and manipulation that many make it out to

be.

She's a spirit of seduction that works to woo people into immorality and idolatry.

So big agenda.

Well it is, and that's just by way of brief review, we see Jezebel was kind of a second

heavens in the realm of principalities.

It talks about in the book of Daniel, that their spirits that rural over territory so

that we see her up there, but influencing.

And if you like directing, we don't know the linkage.

We're down in the weeds too far but, but influencing this spirits at attack people.

Right?

So that's what we're going to focus really in on today is indicators that you might be,

you know, that might be adjustable spirit at work at large in your environment, right?

So we want to give her a Jennifer do on that because she's got a good books and there's

lots of resources out there.

There's lots of, as mentioned in the last time, it seems to be almost a fascination,

but a real focus on the spirit of Jessica.

I mean, you can pick up, you can see articles, you can see videos.

Everybody's referencing the spirit of Joseph Bell.

So it's a, I think that's a legitimate topic because it's doing a lot of damage in the

trade.

Right?

So, right.

Well, what are some words?

What are some indicators are warning signs that a person might be that um, there might

be a jesuit spirit org.

Well, you know, we always start off with control because everybody recognizes control.

I think control is the, is a big thing and pe and people tend to control out of fear,

you know, they really do.

There's something generally in the past of someone that could be operating under this

one's influenced, that's lifted, insecure, like it's childhood or maybe some trauma or

oftentimes like sexual abuse.

You'll see.

And, and these children, because they've had such an unstable upbringing that that control,

it comes to be their safety net so that they can.

They can control others so that they'll identify fear in others and they'll go out to control

them.

Now I remember I had A. I had a family member that family members that came in.

There was a husband and wife team and this is the first time I actually recognized when

I was praying against this thing and I knew it was not in them, but it had unleashed a

hook in them through their fear and it was actually their daughter now.

Their daughter had been sent away.

She was incarcerated, but both the husband and the wife.

When I prayed for them and I called this spirit out there, hands moved lake.

I'm like, they were being puppeted like being married and edited, right?

Both of them.

One after the other.

Exactly the same thing.

And I knew that something was on the outside and outside force that was spiritually trying

to manipulate and control them and you know, it came out that it was their daughter and

that spirit of manipulation had come in and hooked them and was using their fear of letting

it down or being punished by their daughter.

They were doing all sorts of things they shouldn't and should not have done, um, but she had

gained, even while she was in jail, she was still controlling them.

So it comes in with control, um, based on trying to control that spirit.

So somebody's trying to control yet because generally is because of maybe some trauma

or some fear issues in their life and their life.

It's their, it's their self protection device.

It is.

And they'll control others and they'll find it, they'll find cowering, it'll find a cowering

person to hook that spirit of control right into so that, you know, he basically, you're

underneath it and that gives it power.

And that's why many times we'll see it going after the leadership.

Right?

I'm going to go after somebody.

Why not the leadership?

Yeah.

Yeah.

Because it wants to hide and once their protection, right, I think that the leaders are gonna,

you know, and, and because it's always nice to the leaders, you know, in whenever you

talk to a leader about, you know, there's some control or there's some manipulation

or there could be some parts of a decibel spirit that seemed to be operating through

this person.

Then you know, the leader is always like blinded by it.

They're like, no, that could never be because it's, it's always so kind to them.

I mean, I even in even.

Yeah, even in the workplace, you'll see that, that it'll come in from nowhere.

It'll get right up next to your, your, your power of authority.

And it'll start to influence others.

I, I, I had that happen at my job is this girl came in, she positioned herself right

towards the head of our department and she was wonderful to the head of our department.

So even the cry out cry out from all of us in the field made no difference to this woman

at all because she was so under the deception of the spirit.

That was so, so convincing and she came in, she fired everybody that had been at my job

for like 28, even 30 years that she didn't hire because we were threats.

Uh, and, and the, and, and the boss let her do it.

So you know it.

Same in ministry.

It hides writeup and it boots, boots the profits out at boots.

The people in the church out that come against it because it's got the protection of the

leader tries to blind leader.

Now it's, if you can imagine, if it's in the leadership of vespers operating through one

of the leaders in the church, then it's, then it's even worse.

It's bad because.

And sometimes you'll see leadership anymore partner part of the leadership.

It could be a husband and wife team.

We can be whatever the leaves, if they're blinded to it, they'll just, they don't see

it.

No, they just don't see it.

It's a good hider, but it.

But it always manifest in front of others.

Like the rest, the rest of the people can see it pretty clearly.

I can see you.

Yeah.

So another one is they always make commitments and promises very quickly, you know, the way

they want to impress you.

Like even as I mentioned, the one girl at work, she just came right in.

Boy, she let me hear all of your heart, let me know what it is that your desires are,

what can I help you with?

And then she made all these promises that she was going to do all these changes to our

department and boy did she wear then we were all gone, but all right up front of us, not

just limited to church.

I mean these are non churches or sectors that you see it in the world too.

But sometimes we don't have the phrasing that terminology for it.

But we'll same devil's going to be working even through people, you know, just in the

secular business environment, that's what you're sharing.

So that's an important thing to say.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But also too, they can, they can, they do have their own agenda.

So they typically want to come in.

They will come in to gain control, to gain authority in it's hurts atmosphere or even

like, I just sear it at my job, but they want, they want the power.

And so eventually what they're trying to do is get their own disciples, like, you know,

at my job, she wanted all the people that she hired so they would be under her, but

in a church they want to, they, they kind of, they sow seeds of contention in the body

to make them look like they're the better leader.

So that being super spiritual, uh, yeah.

And, and they want them to come under their, their leadership.

So they're kind of gathering for their own selfish motivation in the midst of a church.

They'll come in to gather you for their ministry and you'll, you'll hear them use what God

told me.

God told me, and I've done our articles and blogs about, you know, dealing with God told

me people.

I mean, God does tell people and speak things, but when you hear that a lot from people and

many times it will say, well that's not God.

But when somebody says, well, God told me this, it's like, wow, now you have a choice

to make you stay.

Was that God?

You stand up and confront that because it's pretty hard to come against.

Somebody went, well, God told me this, and sometimes you hear and say, Gosh, that doesn't

sound like God to me.

You have to question it.

So they will use those.

What God's God showed me.

This God showed me that you're going to be part of my ministry team from God.

Right?

Just like that.

Yeah, they'll use.

So once again, we've got other articles on that God does speak, but when you hear that,

a lot of people, God told me, this guy told me that.

It's like, I think the, you know, the warning, the warning lights to go on in your, in your

spiritual dashboard and they're trying to.

They'll use that to build themselves up so that they can hire you in.

A lot of times you'll sit back and go, how do you argue with something if God's talking

to him, but you know, you hear, you hear that God said we were going to be doing this together

and God said that you're going to be one of my spiritual daughters.

I mean, I had been in that position so many times, um, as a young person and you know,

now you know, now I'm aware when I start to hear stuff like that, I, you know, I kind

of take it with a grain of salt because you know, you want to be, you want to be, you

want to be careful.

Exactly.

But, but that's what they do.

They, they, they also, they want to isolate and pit people against each other.

You know, whether they do it, whether they do it individually or they do it privately

behind closed doors.

That's their idea is to come in and divide and you know, somebody to behind closed doors,

talk about somebody else.

This is a crowd thing, you know, one on one is good with that third person that comes

in, they're always trying to get the other person to be their best friend.

Lot of this stuff starts in childhood like that, but as it gets older it manifests in

that dividing thing where it just wants, it wants all these little followers to just be

submissive to it, you know, and it's really, it really does cause a lot of contention and

then in, in, and it goes behind your back to um, so a lot of judgment about two or lies

about to, um, to other people and then to your face, it's like doing the same thing

to you about them.

So you never can trust it.

You can never trust it because it's always operating to gain.

It's put itself as the head of whatever it is even in, even in, you know, ministries

and friendships and churches.

You'll see this, you'll see it.

It operates through people.

Yeah.

And then of course they, they, they play a victim, you know, they're victimized because

they're never wrong.

Um, it's, it always tends to be somebody else's fault and, and they'll, they'll play on your

compassion to mess with your discernment.

I mean really, once you, if you, if you've got a compassionate heart, feel sorry for

them, you know, you start having it, you know, their self.

It's the spirit of self pity that comes into, does wrap you in, you know, out.

And here's the thing that I found with the spirit.

A lot of times when it does this, you know, a lot of us can, can understand the spirit

of this decibel spirit that's operating through someone.

I want to be careful not to call a person a decibel spirit because that gets backlash.

That's like crazy.

But if you identify this, um, you know, you can identify the controlling part of it.

But you know, I had that down pat for years but I didn't get it when it came in with the

indirect control cause different, temperamental, used different things.

And this, you know, I get the will, I would like to ask you to be my mentor, but you probably

won't because you know, you're too busy and you're probably mentoring and I'm not worthy

enough and you probably wouldn't want to spend the time with me because I'm too, I'm too

much work.

And then you know, your heart's just like going out and then you, you go out to kind

of rescue this individual and boy, I'll tell you what they want more and more and more

and it, and it can be that empty bucket that you can't fill that's going to drain the living

daylights out of you and you won't see it because you're not seeing it as overt control,

but it's indirect and it's playing on your sense of compassion.

So two sides to this one then don't put, don't overlook that one because that one's just

as deadly.

And then they'll use, you know, um, false humility and feel like they're entitled, like,

like you owe them something and that, that, that can be a little daunting because then

you feel to them like with, you know, my, my situation that I talked about in episode

47, um, you know, she felt like that particular person that wanted to always be my spiritual

mother felt like I really owed her and that I, you know, there was no way I could pull

away from her because she was always going to be my spiritual mother because she was

the one that had helped me really get started when I woke, woke up.

Um, so I was indebted to her.

Like I really owed her my whole walk.

Kind of scary.

But yeah,

no ungodly control part of it.

And then it ends up wanting to control person, you know, just have them build disciples,

be the center of attention.

And it can be very innocuous.

It's not always the loud and brash person that's doing that,

but they tend to, they tend not to be really accountable to anybody.

I mean, they do try to position themselves where they're up there in leadership, are

running their own little part of it.

They don't, they don't, you know, and even if you need to do what God tells, no, I'm

what the Lord tells me.

Right.

And you'll see it too though in church leaders were the head pastors will come in and say,

I don't know how to handle this person that's head of, I don't know, the women's ministry

because she's not letting me have any part of it and she doesn't want to be accountable

for anything that she's rolling out in the ministry piece, you know, you'll see them

just come right in and take over like that.

Um, and then, you know, then a lot of times Zella at accuse others that they're the decibel

that there is a [inaudible] I think that that's something probably for yet another blog,

but that's probably a whole session on it.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Because you never want to call anybody a decibel spirit.

You know, if you, if you, if you look at somebody and you call them a decibel spirit, the backlash

on that is tremendous.

And I've done that, I've, I've, I've, I've noticed that some control in people and I

turned right around all they're just, you know, there are a desert, but either way in

boy, I tell you what, I got hit with it and ended up being accused of one myself because

the door was open, you know, so you gotta be really careful with that.

As you judge, judge, judge,

look, we talked about we, we know once again without going back too far, but people will

think people don't know.

We don't call Jessebelle spirits out of somebody.

We just say there are over them that are over that the church or the environment or whatever.

That's the, there's other tournament experience.

It could be in control, could be manipulation, could be these other things to do spirits.

But.

So that's, that's.

Yeah, that's, that's, that's.

I think that's an interesting thing of it.

They will many times lash out and core accused somebody else of being controlling.

That's what you call the pot, calling the kettle black.

But they don't, they're not going to receive that.

No, but they do acute.

Yeah.

I read the end.

They'll wrap it up in a lot of um, and the wrap it up in some truth, you know, so like

when they go out to accuse you of something, they'll, they'll hit on some points that are

valid, but then they mixed the humanism in there and it makes it, it confuses you because

you got to recognize that there's a spirit of witchcraft that's really behind a lot of

this and when you're, when you're in its presence.

Because I've had this happen, I had, I had someone have a, have a special assignment

to come and share with me a word and I thought, oh, this is good, this is going to be a great

word.

And I'm halfway through the lunch and, and they've, you know, they've told me things

that they see and I thought, yeah, no, this is good and now I recognize that something

I need to work on.

And I was really being humble and then they start slamming you with all the stuff that

they, they see and you recognize you're just getting hit with it on.

And I always feel it does always feel like my blood pressure is just going to go right

through the roof because I can't, but I can't figure it, figure it out.

Often Times while I'm under it.

And now when I walk away, when I walked away from that lunch, I sat there and I went, oh

my gosh, that was the spirit of witchcraft.

Because what it does is it releases a spirit of stupor over you that you can't think straight

while you're in its presence.

And that's very typical of a decibel.

I'm ruling spirit.

It will, it, it Kinda like, it dumbs you down where you don't even know how to respond because

it tends to overwhelm you with a lot of that stuff.

I remember when I, when I first saw it, um, it, the, the Lord showed me, it looked like

half of its face was white and half of it's face was black, like a mask.

And I, when I was listening to this person talk to me, I saw, I saw like that old, you

know, actors mask.

It's half and half, right?

And half of it was truth.

What she was saying was true, then the other half was humanism and then I just had to go

back and sit at my seat and say, okay Lord, what part of that do you want me to own?

And what part of it is lies because you can't tell where the jets would.

That spirit, it wants to lie and accuse you falsely.

Yeah, and in a lot of it that they do that is because they're, they're insecure.

You know?

I think it's important too to recognize it.

You know the spirit can discern and even even the spirit of God, many people have the spirit

of God in them.

Still can be believers here that can have this uncertain.

We see it working, but they can discern others who are hurting wounded in that spirit of

rejection and they will.

I get it's important to them.

They will seek that person out to a sensibly mentored them.

You don't use the words like you used to be your spiritual mother or because sometimes

people don't make idols.

That's another thing my idols are looking for a person to idolize.

They may not think they do, but they really are.

And, and, and I've just spirit the spirit's work in just about working in a person's life.

They will be drawn to that and they will drawn to those peoples and many times who are hurt

and wounded and so they can, you know, move in and really take the place of doing a lot

of the things that the Lord should be doing in their life.

And the last one I, I've kind of already mentioned, but they will, they will unleash witchcraft

prayers over you in the form of selfish motivation.

Like they'll start praying, um, their, their ideas over here.

I had a client just last week tell me that in, in their church they were brought up to

the altar and the pastor had a plan for this young too.

I'm really, I guess, be married to one of the other young men in the church and they

just prayed, prayed that they would be married and bound their lives together and bound their

souls together in this really upset this young woman because she had no interest in this

young man at all.

They were just friends, but it was, you know, there was something operating there that wanted,

that I wanted that control.

So we had to break any witchcraft, prayers of selfish motivation that had been prayed

over her and can't curse word curses and canceled the soul ties that was trying to because of

the pastor actually prayed that their hearts would be knitted together.

That's kind of scary.

Encourage them to find a new church.

She did, she did.

You would have got him.

Yeah.

We'll see.

Sometimes the, there's, there's that

to remedy.

There's not many remedies for some of these things.

So that's.

Wow.

Yeah, that's, that's pretty, uh,

that was over.

It didn't take a whole lot for her to figure that one out.

Exactly.

So those are the warning signs.

So it's kind of, we kind of dance.

So those are things you can look at.

See is this opera, are you under this or seeing this kind of at work.

And so, um, and I think the, you know, many times it is one of those things if you're

in an environment or a church environment, horror someplace and you see this operating,

it's like sad to say there's not a lot you can do many times because if especially it's

in leadership, you know, you got many times I believe you should leave, you should run

and not walk to the nearest exit.

You know, if you're in a business environment or sometimes you get somebody, a supervisor

or somebody, then you need to learn about boundaries are some things you can do in the

natural to help protect yourself.

But I think many times you see this in the church, in leadership, especially you, you

need to leave.

And, and if it's, and if it's maybe it's not in the top leadership, then you can bring

that to the church, to the church pastor leadership.

And I have done that.

I been an environment where I've done and I've taken many times the sometimes it'll

be a confirming word to that, that leader who say, wow, you know, when you say it, it's

like, yeah, I knew that and and, and sense it and now they've got confirmation and they

can do something so they sometimes, like I say, you get in the middle of something.

People can't see the forest for the trees because many times people operating influenced

by that spirit have gifts.

They have his ability to see lots and they're plugged in and they're active and all the

things a pastor my leader might look for, but man, they can't see the damage that's

been done and sometimes somebody coming from the outside.

So yeah, I mean as to say it, but you know, the, the person law or that spirit needs.

If they don't recognize it and they don't want to be free from it, then it's gonna continue

to do damage.

You might want to stay in straight and falling.

It's like, boy, you can do that, but I think more times than not we've seen that.

That's to your own peril, your own depth.

Well, that's that revelation scripture.

Woe to you who allow that, that woman Jezza Bell, because you're gonna, allow it.

What you allow is going to continue.

Exactly.

Unless you're the pastor you and impact your leadership, you've got to deal with it.

If it's somebody else in the leadership won't receive it.

I to know you hit the door Kenny Rogers Song, you gotTa know when to hold them, when to

fold them.

Know when to walk away.

I mean, it doesn't, it's not a sign of weakness.

It's called the sermon.

So you can't.

There's battles you can't fight and uh, you know, there's things we can do, but that's

just our experiences.

If you're in the middle of that, under that for your own benefit and sanity and walk with

the Lord, you need to leave.

Now, what if you're sitting there and wonder, well, Gosh, am I under attack?

How do I know?

Am I, am I, am I being personally attacked?

What are, what are some indicators that people might have?

Well, I mean, the first thing is that that spirit of fear wants to just climb all over

you.

When I, when I left that lunch after this special appointment with a woman who had to

come and give me a word, I mean I would literally sat in my car and I shook it.

It, it causes you to have fear, you know, because it's so pretty persuasive.

Um, and it's saying things that typically aren't true, so mixed in with things that

are.

But it will cause fear.

I mean, I, I remember sitting in the car and thinking, okay, I've just gotten smeared by

a spirit of witchcraft and control and manipulation, you know, um, I didn't want to say the woman

was, but I did know the spirits that were an operation there.

And um, before I could even move on, one of my intercessors called me and said, what are

you going through right now?

I'm sensing that you've got some fear all over you and we need to pray.

And it was like great timing because I had a break that assignment really quickly with

that because you know, there is enough truth in there where your mind just starts thinking

about it and then you get fearful.

What if that is me and what if I am, you know.

And, and so it kinda manipulate.

Yeah.

See that.

It might be just an agenda just to fine tune a little bit.

I mean, fear is a gentleman.

A lot of people say, well, I'm in fear, but many times it could be associated with a person,

a leader, if you're in fear and you're afraid of them, then the, and what's it going to

do that, that, that to me is a real shame.

So what's another one?

Um, you start to, uh, hide or isolate, you know, pull away and retreat.

So you're like Elijah in the cave, you're just separating and hiding because you know,

you don't really want to confront that thing.

And so you back

down.

Yup.

Pull away from people.

Right?

Right, right.

No, seeing fatigue work.

Many times people, it'll, that spirit will wear you out.

If you're in an environment, you can be just, you know, it will exhaust you mentally, emotionally,

and spiritually and spiritual exhaustion.

That's not something we're called to walk in peace and contentment.

So I'm just unreasonably exhaustion in your, in your, in your church environment or your

ministry environment, business environment, that's another indicator

because if you just feel like you're spinning, you know, like you're not really making any

headway with that thing around.

So it just wears you out and you know it.

Oftentimes it brings in over you a hyperactive spirit.

Um, you know, where your thought when you lay down at night and man, you can't even

turn your brain off.

And then that, that spirit of unrest comes to just keep you up thinking, thinking, thinking,

Lincoln, trying to sort through it, but it, it's so foggy you can't get, can't get it.

And that's how it, in that exhaustion, you know, sometimes it'll cause your dreams to

become perverse, sexually perverse.

Oftentimes too, if that person's walking with the spirit of perversion, you know, you may

pick up on that.

Well, if they've been sexually abused or they're trying to seduce you and you and that, that's

the, you know, the look of that seduction from a, from a perverse standpoint, it will,

it make cause you to have some sexual thoughts about that person and then your thoughts and

dreams will turn that way too.

So, um, and also, you know, this is something that I, you know, I haven't really recognized

too much, but a lot of prolonged illnesses start to hinder you or you know, the unusual

things start to happen to you, like accidents or, or different things like that.

You know, you may be, it could be because that either you're a threat and they want

you out of the way.

I mean, I recognize that one year I was dating a young man and, and he was dating someone

else who was operating with some witchcraft, you know, and she won.

She put spells on him.

She ended up marrying her.

But I was dating him at that time.

And what happened to me was I, I started getting sick.

I started getting into car accidents.

I started having all these things start to happen to me.

I didn't recognize it as being associated with that spirit of decibel that was sitting

over that relationship.

But yeah, it had.

It's had its effect on me.

So then freak accidents like becoming common place or part of it.

So a lot of that, a lot of that,

those are some signs or things you can look at if you, you know, and once again they're

not proofs are more evidences, the indicators or could be a lot of things going on.

But I think these are some things you can look at to consider that, that maybe you are

being, you are under attack from that Isabel spirit and, and you know, if, if this speaks

to you and think you think you might have that operating in your life and you're open

to that and many times it's, you know, you try to bring that truth to people are people

can.

Pastors will try to bring it to somebody else.

And many times they don't receive it.

They'll respond, well no, that's not true.

Or you're the one controlling me and it's hard to get to that place of brokenness, but

if you think this might be you and your opening, Gosh, get some delivery, you need some deliverance,

right?

Yeah.

Or if you're underneath the effect of one that has been operating this way over you,

then you need to get deliverance to come out from underneath it.

Submission.

Exactly.

There's probably things will come upon you.

That's one of the open doors.

People who had ungodly control over you can cause spirits to hinder you.

But as we've touched on already, if you're in that, don't stay.

I mean, Gosh, if it's in the leadership there it will, you know, you can't fight that thing

and um, you know, you, you just, our typical best counsel for people is if you're in that

environment is you just need to leave.

And then yes, there's no such thing as a perfect church to get that.

But there's a lot of good churches and you might have individuals in a church struggling

with that, but if it's over the leadership, boy it's, it's just because the goal is death

and destruction.

Right.

I think that's the thing to do.

That's the, uh, you know, that's, it's designed to bring death and destruction on the church.

So any final thoughts?

Oh yeah, always.

You know, when you,

now that we've brought this up to your attention, I just want you to be careful.

Never called the person agenda rebel.

Um, you need to forgive them because they're operating under some spiritual dimension.

Just like, you know, a lot of people are forgive.

I'm going to break that soul tie with them.

And if you haven't learned how to do that, listen to one of our other podcasts, drop

the judgment, don't judge them based on the spirits that are operating through them.

Don't speak out these things out loud because oftentimes once you start to judge, you'll

be judged with this.

And then you know, recognize that you're dealing with spirits.

And as don talked about, this is not, you know, like Ephesians six, 12 says you're dealing

with spiritual and dealing with the flesh and the blood.

So it's been under the neat this attack, you know, you and you feel like you've got some

fallout from it or it's really hurt your intimacy with the Lord or caused problems then come

in for deliverance and we'll, we'll pull out its tentacles and set you free.

Well, and I would add to that, just to counter the other side of it, and we've talked about

a lot about the spirit of bell and spirits.

You know, we're always going to say there's not demons behind every problem in personal

life.

And some people have, certain temperaments were there.

They just tend to be more of a controlling temperament.

We call them a cleric temperament and that, you know, and so there's not demons everywhere.

You need that discernment, you know, what is it, what's in the flesh?

And, and, and, um, and then I say if you're under this, the responsibility to do something

lies with you.

And I'm not frightened.

Fuel above the other person, exactly to do things in your own life.

You can't fix them.

But what's what, you know, the, the key is discernment, right?

When you have some determine, then you can begin to do something about it.

to your wedding ceremony and celebration,

I think, is a great way of acknowledging your guests

that are coming to this special moment in your life.

Now this welcome sign, I think, is a great way to say,

"We are so happy to have you here",

and it can be placed on the stand.

But, if you notice, right down here,

I added the name of the bride and the groom.

You can also add the date of your wedding celebration.

This, to me, is just a great place

where your guest book might be or just the front door

when you're arriving into the location.

But now it's time to add the colors, the textures,

the detail, the style of your wedding,

which aways should be, sort of,

seen from the very beginning of the day

to the very end, including this sign.

So I have some faux flowers,

soft blush ranunculus, a little bit of lilac.

And I'm gonna cut the stems.

I'm going to take a little bit of the lilac.

And some more ranunculus.

You know, many people are very worried

about working with flower, both real and faux,

but this is very simply.

Just cluster them together and try to give them

a little bit of different height and have them bend out

just a little bit to give it space.

I'm gonna add the lilac to this around the outside.

Take the wire and just do a simple spin

about two to three times around it, so they stay secure.

And if you want to add a little bit more,

you can certainly add some more.

And this is what happens.

You're adding clusters

of the flowers that might be seen

in the bride or the bridesmaid's bouquet

or even the centerpieces on the table.

When it's done, you can add a little bit of chiffon ribbon.

Add that to that and I bent this down.

It kind of looks like it's falling over because

it's just going to get placed

like that over the sign.

I made one that's just a little bit larger

and it's gonna be placed down along the bottom.

Something so simple, so easy to do, is a great way

to welcome your guests to your wedding.

eight I love love love this one this one's really hard for me it's up there

really do I love to multitask but when you're. I think a lot of times though I

need to stop and just do one thing at one time when I do that I'm efficient at

what I'm doing I'm rereading what I'm doing I'm making sure that I'm putting

in the my best foot forward and I really savor what I'm doing I think that I put

out better products when I do that I think I put out better content I think I

put out better things. I think I write better when I do that

so to do that it's just doing one thing. I used to be like I can do multiple

things I can do multiple things at a time I can multitask some awesome but

you're not completely focused on what you're doing. I think that's really comes

down to a lot of times the big things in our lives the most important things that

we constantly hold on to and we're evaluating who we are because we do

these we rush through. We're not completely present doing them we're not

focused we're doing multiple things while we're doing them and it's like

whoa whoa. Well you can't do that yeah I can't do that. You got to do one thing at

one time one thing at one time just repeat it paid it to yourself especially

when you have like big milestones big goals how whatever you do how are you

evaluate your things in your life. Just do it just do it one at a time

especially there are really really important things in your life guys you

don't have to be focused off somewhere else.

Give it its due time and you'll flourish you will flourish. How to be Zen in nine

Hello everybody and welcome to the video Number 6 live from Fontevraud l'Abbaye.

I'm Sylvie Reeves, the trainer and coach for passionate learners of french from all

over the world.

In this advice video 6, you will be given 10 useful tips to better speak French and

now I'd like to introduce a special guest, Barclay, who comes here every week for his

French classes.

Thanks for coming!

It is also a surprise for him!

Actually people who know me also know that I like staging last minute surprises ( involving

my students.

So you will discover 10 useful tips to better speak French, thanks to the dialogue Barclay

and I are going to have.

Don't forget you can activate the French and English subtitles or desactivate them

according to your level of understanding.

I thought about this dialogue after I watched a testimony from a multilingual Englishman

who was giving these 10 tips on Babel, a language website but of course we made a dialogue out

of it ! The first essential thing is to have a good reason, a real source of inspiration

to speak French so my first question to you Barclay is what is your good reason to speak

French?

For me, it's to live and work in France.

Indeed Barclay lives here all year round.

And do you intend to stay in France in the long run?

Yes and I need to use French in my daily life.

There are specifc areas of interest you are really keen on I believe ? Yes horses and

dogs too!

We breed labradoodles.

Beautiful dogs ! When do you use your French most ? during the meals, for shopping.

No for me it's when I take part in horse shows and also in order to promote our business.

You can really congratulate Barclay because we are interacting spontaneously without preparation.

Tip Number 2 is the 360° approach, that is practise French every day in order to be anchored

in the language and the country.

I have several questions to ask Barclay.

When you will have made a lot of progress, how do you picture yourself ideally talking

French ? What do you want to be able to do ? I want to be able to understand a common

conversation, initially with 1 person and of course in the long run with several people.

Yes, that's very difficult to be sitting around a meal with 4,6,8 , 10 French natives

to switch conversation all the time.

How do you practise French: do you listen more, do you read more or do you speak more?

I real more as it's easier.

Yes that's totally normal, it's easier when you see the written word, but in order

to boost your speaking, there is one thing you can do… do you talk to yourself, when

you read something , out loud?

Speaking out loud can help with pronunciation.

Exactly, so I really thing it's essential.

In order to anchor your speaking, if you read newpapers or a book, read them out loud , not

in a low voice.

When you manage to talk to someone, do you feel satisfied, pleased, when you have a conversation

with your neighbour, the vet for your animals ? It's not too bad if the conversation is

not too hard or technical.

Well, Barcaly, I am really pleased because you are emblematic of the students I want

to help on the web and also at home, who typically have a pre-intermediate level and who want

one day, who dream about speaking French fluently one day, therefore who want to reach the intermediate

level, then the advanced level.

Is that your dream too?

I hope ! Now let's move on to tips 3 and 4!

One of them is always difficult to apply for my foreign student friends : to find a partner,

to find someone to talk to in French, outside the French classes.

So Barclay have you found this rare gem?

There is a familly in the village ; he is our vet.

That's great, because it corresponds to Tip 4 You need to learn useful French!

Barclay has just told us he's interested in animals, he breeds dogs and the partner

he has found to speak French is the family vet, so it's great because it's useful

French for him ! Does useful French include grammar?

Yes, French grammar is different!

Really folks, grammar is really useful.

When Barclay first came here, i noticed he had a lot of vocabulary but no grammatical

structure and we are working on it together.

By building up your vocabulary and grammar, you will be able to make headway little by

little.

If you only pick up new vocabulary, that's not right, because you will never build up

your sentences, that's the real problem!

In order to discover Tip 5, first of all listen to Barclay!

Once a friend invited me to the concert of a French band who sang in Finnish ( my wife

is Finnish) They had learnt the song phonetically ! Singing, songs are very important to learn

a language.

You can listen to the music of the language you are studying and let yourself be lulled

by the sounds.

There are a lot of exercises to do around songs, they are excellent.

This is Tip 5 = Have fun!

And now Tip 6 is « behave like a child »… and a child is not serious, compared to adults,

a child has no inhibitions ! The worst thing when you learn French is to judge your level

all the time, like saying I am useless, I don't speak fast enough, I don't have

enough grammar, vocabulary, my accent is horrid.

Barclay, do you have all these frustrations and inhibitions?

No I prefer to put the message across and communication without being perfect ! Exactly,

we say « to communicate at all costs » it's really essential, and I insist on that in

all my videos, conviviality is the thing, you are learning a language, not to write

a book, not us at least ,, but to meet native speakers and have a good time together.

Then, tip 7 is a bit similar to tip 6 : you need to have enough trust to step out of your

comfort zone because at first it's a bit intimidating to live in another country, isn't

it ? and not to know all the cultural identity codes.

So for you Barclay is it just a bit daunting, a lot or not at all intimidating?

No I find the French very friendly, I'm not daunted and have not had any bad experience.

Another important thing to integreate is Tip 8, and you are using Tip 8 right now when

you are listening to us.

It's something to do with that, and what do we call that Barclay?

L' oreille ( the ear) Yes hearing formats our speech so when you listen and hear, then

you can speak.

Do you listen to the radio, to music with French singers and do you agree with what

I have just said , is it important to do a lot of listening ? I listen to the radio in

my car.

It's really good although it's a bit complicated at the beginning , you need to format your

ear.

The language frequency ranges for English and French have nothing in common, they don't

overlap, so in order to accommodate your ear to French sounds, you need to listen to and

hear a lot of French sounds and sonorities.

With Internet it's so easy!

You can listen to a lot of things in repaly, listen with or without the text, don't rely

just on your weekly class ! You need to listen to French on a daily basis.

You have got it by now that's it's essential to do a lot of listening to make progress

in a language Tip 9, watch people speak and imitate them.

Indeed when we speak French we don't use our throat grrrr and our lips in the same

way.

Does it help you to watch people speak on TV, or when you meet them outside, does it

make things easier for you?

It depens, everyone is different.

Exactly, so my piece of advice is not to watch any old rubbish on TV.

Be picky : on the radio too, there are presenters who articulate words really well, even if

they speak fast, they do articulate and have chosen words.

If you watch a comedy, it's amusing but it's really hard because it's filled with

slang ! But if you meet your neighbour who articulates French fairly well, watch his

lips, watch his mouth, his body language, it all helps, all our body is involved for

speaking.

Now we have reached Tip 10, we have already mentioned it previously : Talk to yourself,

out loud, do your homework out loud in French.

For you Barclay, because you do a lot of work linked to the puppies, what could you say

out loud for example when you go to the hangar?

I could talk to the horses and the dogs.

And we do talk to our pets ! Here is what you could come up with " Actually, I need

to feed the dogs, and I need to ride my horse ! That's brilliant to memorise the language

sounds and all.

We have now come to the end of the advice video « Les vidéos de Sylvie pour mieux

parler français « but there is a bonus advice.

Do you understand the expression" Il faut vous détendre"?

" Se détendre" Les activités de détente" in France, mean to relax, relaxation.

You see if i put my body like taht to speak French I become tense.

The 10th tip advises you to do just the opposite and it's essential.

You need to unwind when you speak French.

Because for French people who have no clue about language learning, who have never learnt

another language, who may be have never travelled, when they see you come and you start talking

to them bumping on a lot of words, hesitating with your vocabulary and grammar, sometimes

the person opposite you doesn't have the patience to listen to you.

It doesn't matter.

YOU mustn't hesitate and YOU MUST put the message across as Barclay rightly said.

May be, try your French out on people that you know first like your neighbours, your

doctor, local shopkeepers because they know you and there is already a connection then.

And you Barclay, do you find local people patient with you usually ? Are the people

around Saumur patient with foreign people who talk French to them?

Have you had any bad experience?

No, usually when i have been trying to comunicate, people have been very happy, but it's the

same everywhere else in the world, if you make the effort to say hello, good bye, thank

you please, i would like in the native language of the country visited… before you are capable

of saying a lot more, people will appreciate and tell themselves " Oh great, he's making

the effort, she's making the effort"!

It's true people are usually welcoming in the Loire Valley.
