Over the weekend, Donald Trump engaged in what might be one of his most absurd, bizarre,

and unnecessary Twitter rants this time it was against Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal

after Blumenthal referred to Donald Trump as he is, which is an unindicted coconspirator.

Based on the filings that were released this past Friday, Donald Trump then took to Twitter

to say the following, "Watched Denang Dick Blumenthal and television spewing facts almost

as accurate as his bravery and Vietnam, which he never saw as the bullets whiz by Denang

Dick's head as he was saving soldiers' left and right.

He then woke up from his dream screaming that he lied.

Next time I go to Vietnam, I will ask the Dick to travel with me."

I will ask the Dick to travel with me, and he put the "Dick" in quotation marks here.

Okay.

Several things to unpack from this psychotic rambling of the president of the United States

here.

First and foremost, if you're not familiar with what the president is actually referring

to, it's an issue that was resolved roughly a decade ago where Blumenthal had misspoken

about his service during the Vietnam War.

He did not go to Vietnam, but unlike Donald Trump, he did enlist.

He was a part of the U.S. National guard here with the United States Marines and he, uh,

a signed up with them after he got his education deferments.

So he got his deferments, went to school, school's over, he signs up and does his duty,

didn't have to go to Vietnam.

He wasn't part of the group that did.

I'm sure there was probably some favors that exchanged hands, you know, wealthy, privileged

kid maybe didn't want to go over there with scared, but hell, at least he did something

which is more than what we can say of the president of the United States, cadette bone

spurs who did everything he could to avoid conflict or signing up at the military in

any way possible.

Now that's one thing.

Obviously everybody on Twitter responded to in these tweets.

The fact that Donald Trump didn't go to Vietnam, he had his bone spurs.

He was a little sissy kid, didn't want to go over there and do anything.

Whatever.

We get it.

That's known.

Everybody understands that and they also understand the hypocrisy.

And the irony of Donald Trump tweeting this out about somebody when he himself didn't

do that thing either.

Here's what gets me about it.

The president is psychotic.

The president is absolutely mentally unstable and should immediately be removed from office.

How about that?

How about we go with that talking point.

Instead of talking about the hypocrisy of he didn't go to Vietnam either.

Everybody knows that these tweets from the president show that this man is insane and

I don't say that lightly.

It's not like, oh, this guy's crazy.

This is insane.

This man is clinically and certifiably insane.

The 25th amendment should have been invoked months ago.

This man needs to undergo very serious psychological evaluations and further more because he is

not alone in this.

If anyone in this country reads these tweets and says, Hell Yeah, how?

Yeah, that's my president.

Then you're just as insane as he is.

No one in this country should feel like this is okay.

That it's good that the president's tweeting out about the deck.

If you think that that's okay, then your part of the problem.

This is not America.

It's who we are.

Now it's who we've allowed ourselves to evolve into, but anybody that actually cares about

this country cares about our reputation, cares about our standing with our allies.

They don't approve of this.

Anybody with a shred of intelligence in their brains wouldn't approve of this, and that's

what's so disgusting about this.

To me, this isn't a partisan issue.

This isn't a "did he or did he not serve in Vietnam" issue.

This is a psychotic man.

Donald Trump serving as the president of the United States and Republicans sitting idly

by wondering, Oh, I wish we could do something about his tweeting.

You have 100 percent of the power to do something about his tweeting.

You could have invoked the 25th amendment a year ago and you sat on your assets and

chose to do nothing.

You own this, his supporters on this and you people are all, every one of you just as horrible,

despicable and deplorable as the president himself and no, you can't change your Twitter

handle and say like, oh, the deplorable Mike Jones as if it's a badge of honor.

It's a disgusting label, but it perfectly describes the people who are out there defending

the president after saying garbage

like this.

How Submarines Work | How Things Work with Kamri Noel - Duration: 2:33.

KAMRI: Hey guys, Kamri here.

I'm chilling in my sweet loft courtesy

of National Geographic Kids.

So, when was the last time you guys actually

knew how something worked?

And no, I do not mean Googling it.

I mean really learned how something worked?

One thing I've always been wondering about is

how submarines work.

How do these ginormous machines go under water and

above the water in the ocean?

And how do you even start to build one?

Well, fortunately, National Geographic Kids has sent me my

own expert to help me figure out these questions.

This one got mailed straight to my loft.

Whoa!

DAVID: Thanks Kamri!

Good to see daylight again.

I'm David Gruber, Marine Biologist.

KAMRI: So David, how do submarines go underwater?

DAVID: Typical submarines are built with two hulls,

think of it like two layers of skin

with a space in between them.

The space between the hulls contains what we call the

"ballast tanks."

KAMRI: Got it.

DAVID: When the crew of a submarine wants to dive,

they fill the ballast tanks with water,

increasing the density of the sub.

KAMRI: So, denser objects sink?

DAVID: Exactly.

And when the crew wants to rise.

KAMRI: They force air into the tank to displace the water,

making it lighter.

DAVID: You got it.

Air is much lighter than water,

so a submarine filled with air naturally

becomes more buoyant.

Buoyancy describes an object's floatability.

KAMRI: So, if I take a giant deep breath,

I become more buoyant?

DAVID: Correct.

KAMRI: Okay, so once a submarine is actually

underwater, how does anyone know where they're going?

DAVID: Submarines rely on a system

called SONAR to navigate.

SONAR stands for...

KAMRI: Acronym pose!

DAVID: Sound, Navigation, and Ranging.

KAMRI: Okay, I've heard of that before.

They send sound waves through the ocean, right?

DAVID: Exactly, the key is receiving the reflected

echo of the sound.

Sound waves bounce off objects,

so a submarine crew gauges what's around them by

determining how long it takes to echo back to them.

KAMRI: So, the shorter the time,

the closer the object.

DAVID: That's it!

KAMRI: Okay, so a submarine is like a giant half-whale

half-bat with two hulls.

Air and water fill the ballast tanks between the hulls to

bring it up and down.

It sends sound waves throughout the ocean to know

where other objects are.

DAVID: I can't believe I went through, like,

many years of graduate school to learn that.

KAMRI: Well, thanks for coming by!

Will Prince William be the next King? Queen Elizabeth made an Announcement - Duration: 11:11.

everyone loves the young royals this is something we know for sure in

particular the two grown sons have Prince Charles in the late Princess Diana Prince William and Prince Harry

people loved them so much in fact that there has been wide speculation for years that queen elizabeth ii should bypass

handing the crown over to her oldest son and just go right for her popular

grandson to succeed her is the symbolic head of the British Commonwealth

the subject of whether Prince William be the next king has never before been addressed by the famously tight-lipped Queen herself until recently and

Prince William fans might not like what she had to say

on Thursday Queen Elizabeth who is actually the longest reigning monarch in the world and

celebrated her 92nd birthday on Saturday opened a Commonwealth summit at Buckingham Palace and made her wishes

Perfectly clear she wants her son the 69 year old Prince of Wales to be the next leader of the Commonwealth

as she told the leaders of the 53 countries in the Commonwealth

According to time it is my sincere wish that the Commonwealth will continue to offer stability and continuity for future

generations and will decide that one day the Prince of Wales should carry on the important work started by my father in 1949

The Prince of Wales is already the heir apparent to the crown which means that if her Majesty

Dies her abdicates her throne he automatically becomes the next reigning monarch it's a role he has known he would fill for his entire life

But perhaps he wasn't expecting to wait quite so long to fill it he has been the heir to the throne

longer than anyone in history and has served as the Prince of Wales longer than anyone else as well according to the Telegraph

but the decision to name him the head of the Commonwealth

Is actually not a decision the Queen can make it is instead decided by the 53 leaders of the countries included under that umbrella

from Canada to Australia to Botswana and beyond two of the leaders Canadian Prime Minister

Justin Trudeau and British prime minister Theresa May have reportedly already

expressed their support for allowing Prince Charles to be the next head of the Commonwealth

it looks as though Queen Elizabeth has been granted a wish

the media has reported that the leaders who were at Windsor Castle for a two-day summit to discuss issues

Regarding the Commonwealth have agreed to allow Prince Charles to succeed his mother

Which means dear Prince William will have a little while to wait until he someday becomes King while it shouldn't come as a huge shock

that Prince Charles will succeed the Queen rather than being skipped over for his younger and let's face it

Infinitely more popular son there are plenty of people who didn't want to see him reign

his long-term affair with his present wife Camilla parker-bowles

during his marriage to Princess Diana and the couple's subsequent divorce caused a scandal that some felt caused near

irreparable damage to the British monarchy in fact a

2017 pull by the son found that most British people want Prince William to be the next reigning monarch not Prince Charles and

then there's the question of Camilla parker-bowles role when her husband is crowned king

more than one-third of Brits said they would not want to see her become Queen but this is the British monarchy not a democracy and

Prince Charles is the next in line for the throne

He has the backing of the Queen of England and the leaders of the Commonwealth

sure he's got a dark past and he's not as popular as his son and

sure lots of people sort of wish we could skip over him like he's of boring chapter in a well-loved book

Be that as it may it's not going to happen

Can Prince Charles be skipped in the line of succession

Recent polls have shown that support for the Prince of Wales becoming King is

constantly on the increase and at the moment is riding higher than support for the Duke of Cambridge

succeeding after Her Majesty it is an interesting point of discussion for

constitutionalists Royalists and many others alike as to whether skipping Prince Charles would be conceivable or indeed possible

To start with it's worth noting that monarchy isn't a popularity contest

the fact that there is a fixed line of succession is what makes it a monarchy and to deviate from that

regardless of intention would undoubtedly cause questioning over the succession altogether why have a monarchy if you're going to choose the heir

next we have the problem of whether it can actually be done

The answer to this is in fact a surprising yes it is a well established

fact that Parliament controls the succession to the crown and that Parliament can legislate

for anything under doctrine known as parliamentary supremacy it is therefore not the queen

who, determines who succeeds her big parliament

however it is not just constitutional points which would create problems in a move to pass over the Prince of Wales

There is also the issue of whether Prince William is ready to succeed to the throne

The general consensus is that William and his wife needs more time

currently they don't have any experience of being a full-time working royal and limited experience of state affairs

which his eventual time as heir to the throne will give him the chance to learn about

the Prince of Wales on the other hand has been training for the rule for over 60 years and has a deep understanding

of the affairs of state

Being King is no mean feat despite what Republicans would say of the role of the monarch

the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will surely be thankful for the extra time they'll have together before taking the reins eventually if

Prince William succeeded the Queen we'd also then have the problem of an infant heir that

is to say if

Anything did happen to the Duke it would be Prince George who succeeded in an infant King is never good for any monarch yes

history shows and doubtless even less good in monarchy in the 21st century

Whilst opinion on Prince Charles can often vary year-on-year there is no doubt about his commitment

despite what people say he genuinely

cares about the country he lives in and will one day reign over he doesn't just sit idly back whilst the world moves around him

he involves himself heavily in charity work in his passion for the

Environment and other important causes mean he's using his position for good there are many of his predecessors

of whom that could not be said in

conclusion it's fair to say whilst popularity may swing in favor of Prince William

becoming King the number of problems likely to be encountered in such a move-out way possible benefits for monarchy by longshot

alleging Prince William and Kate Middleton will be crowned the next king and queen of England and once again

gossip cop combust the premise that Queen Elizabeth will have her grandson ascend the throne over its rightful heir Prince Charles

not only are we taught it from Peru but their rules and regulations

Some more than 300 years old that prove the magazine's cover story is nothing more than a fabrication

the latest issue of Starks claims on its front page

Also asserts the reigning queen secret coup has left Prince Charles sobbing and asking mummy, what have you done

Inside the article maintains Queen Elizabeth is ditching protocol and passing the throne to her grandson actually

Her Majesty doesn't necessarily have the power to do that but more about that in a bit

the often discredited tabloid starts off it's bravely untrue story by writing

William has been bumped up the line of succession and is now next to be king

it then claims a source reports that several government leaders within the Commonwealth secretly met earlier this year to plan how

92 year old Queen Elizabeth will step down and how William will take her of

Course in the real world in April the leaders met to approve and announce Prince Charles is the next head of the Commonwealth

Actually it was after the Queen's urging he take over the Commonwealth that its leaders said in a statement the next head of the Commonwealth

shall be His Royal Highness Prince Charles the Prince of Wales

clearly the longest reigning monarch in British history wants her eldest son to be the next king

Despite the truth the American publication trots out a so-called insider who says as the Queen gets older

She's figuring out how to keep the royal family relevant

the magazine's unnamed an untraceable source contents that because Prince William and Middleton are adding new life to the ages old

Monarchy if Charles gets cast aside in the process so be it

Prince William was purportedly in shock when he found out about the Queen's secret plan adds the almost assuredly made-up tipster and

while the Duke of Cambridge was supposedly

overjoyed by the fake news of him becoming the next king the tabloids alleged source asserts all

opening bracket Prince Charles closing bracket can do his sob mummy, what have you done

the outlets latest report is not only inaccurate but it's also an original the

magazine ran virtually the exact same cover nearly two years ago when it maintained Her

Majesty was going to step down so she could be alive to watch the coronation of Prince William and Kate Middleton

as the next king and queen and

exactly one year ago

gossip cop busted the same in reliable

publication when it ran yet another bogus cover story about how Prince William and Middleton planned to rule the throne after Queen Elizabeth quits

those articles were simply untrue what the magazine and others like it

repeatedly get wrong is that the Queen can just decide to have her grandson leapfrog Prince Charles

She would have to get Parliament to enact that drastic change to the royal succession

Which states the oldest heir is always the next in the line to the throne as set forth by the Act of Settlement of

1701 and

it's not just gossip cop who's repeatedly said Prince William will never be before Prince Charles a

palace official on condition of anonymity first left off the claim before pointing us to those very clear rules of succession

once again star is privately and royally wrong

DIY Air Plant Wreath + Perfect Holiday Gift - Duration: 11:15.

Hello hello hello you guys and welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm gonna show you how you can make your very own

air plant wreath this video was inspired by somebody who saw my recent upload about

gifts to give plant lovers in your life

They saw the one that I have made myself and asked how the heck did you do it and today I answer that question

I'll link to all the products that

I'm using in the description box below so that if you would like to make one for yourself you can easily access

the tools that you'll need

but without further ado let's get into it

So you will need a scissors a pair of pliers if you plan to secure them down with

Wire which I do and if you are using wire which I am make sure that you do not use copper because copper will

kill your air plants you're also gonna need a selection of air plants to

affix to your wreath and

You're gonna need a grapevine wreath as you can tell I already have an assortment of air plants on there already

So I'm just gonna add them to this. If you prefer to use glue you can

just make sure that it's not a hot glue gun and that it's not super glue

the one that I believe is recommended to use is

E6000 glue. I'll make sure to link that down below as well so that you know what I'm talking about

Otherwise you can use anything from like fishing string or regular thread whatever you want to already so let's go ahead and get started

just use the bump if you can see it I'm a little over 26 weeks pregnant at this point and it's kind of

unavoidable to get in the frame

but I am gonna start things off by

simply removing the tags that these air plants have come with if yours don't have

tags anymore then you know what don't worry about it let's skip ahead

from this step I just wanted to make sure to have a couple

Newbies to add to my wreath for you guys today. that way I'm not just showing you what I have I'm showing you how

I made what I have. they had some really fun ones at the nursery today they had kind of like fuzz on it

some of them and a lot of the ones I got today

have sort of like

Enhancement as they call it but really it's just like a dye essentially so that they kind of look,

well, more colorful so they'll find that like the tips are kind of like this nice colorful red color and this is

said to be variegated because of that I'm not sure if they're saying it's variegated because of these stripes or if it's actually

an a variegated

variety of air plant so what I recommend doing first is

taking the air plants that you have and placing them onto the wreath without securing them down

just to see if you can come up with a

positioning it that you're fond of I kind of like it usually like within clusters of three or more

personally so I kind of purchased the air plants with that in mind I want especially this

pretty little one to kind of be sticking up and outwards just just show off the fun Wiggly leaves and I think I'll put this

here

yeah then that looks like a good spot for it just because um

underneath here you can see that this one is kind of drying out and not looking super happy and so concealing that with a

fresh pretty little air plant seems like it might do the trick let's figure out where we can put this one

Because eventually it'd be fun if this whole thing was full oh

that goes nicely there don't you think I think there like that

the only thing is that I just wish that there was a little bit more to fill in the gap here or that we could

like move that down here... I wonder

I mean you can see some of the roots on this guy actually hopefully the camera is focusing on it if you can tell

under there it has some roots developed which I heard you can snip the roots if you want to which I don't want to

but you can if you want to simply because I guess they only use roots for stabilization purposes and not for

Growth

Maybe

I'm gonna go get a hair tie because this is getting too much

now let's see if we can focus. does that look, okay let's see

I just feel like it looks empty down here

Hang on Ruby just ran past me with a tissue in her mouth

See I

don't know do your pups ever do that she likes to kind of like walk around with tissues and be like look what I found

hey Ruby

let's hide this from her little nosey

Yes okay this I'm happy with let's do that so now that you've come up with your ideal positioning

We go ahead and secure them down we're gonna want to do is to get maybe about like let's say

Perhaps about an inch and a half and you're gonna hook underneath

the branches in this wreath

You're going to want at least one or so branches hooked under which I usually do one and then you place it down

the little air plant here

and

you kind of just secure it down you kind of just get the little wires

And clamp it like that you don't want to be hard you don't need to secure it super super snug but just enough so that

The other end of oh here it is

just enough so that

it won't little out of place when you're watering it and when the wind blows if it's going to be an outside wreath and

then boom it's stabilized

So now you move on to the next shape

Okay that might actually be too small for the

size about air plant so I'm gonna save that one for one of the smaller ones

let's go for a slightly wider one because I forgot this guy's a little bit more bulbous

Now again you're going to want to

Go from a different angle for this one

I try not to cover your light so you can see but I'm going under these two hooks here

or these two branches rather I'm sorry and

then just kind of securing it over the air plant

Super simple relatively quick gluing is gonna be quicker

However

for whatever reason I

just feel slightly odd

gluing a plant I feel like you know gently tethering down with wire is somehow better

but I could be wrong

Ouch that is pokey

i just realized I clipped this the wrong direction

Alright now that all the air plants are now secured down I do suggest that you water them just to make sure

that they're well hydrated before it goes in to its final resting

place

gosh that sounds dramatic

I prefer to rinse mine and the sink you can feel free to use and mister you do whatever you feel is best for you

and your plants so

I usually just kind of hose them down like this this also helps to just kind of ensure that they are in fact

stuck in their new spot

and let's you kind of keep an eye on the ones that might be a bit looser

You want to make sure the water temperature is not very hot either

some people like to soak with their air plants like in water itself like fully submerged I

Am one of those people I'm fine with doing that however when you have a wreath

like this you can't really do that so your best bet is kind of going over

the air plants multiple times I do also like to go over the wreath itself

which is probably entirely pointless but something that I do anyways because it just makes me

Feel like the job is complete and you should water your air plants a couple of times a week

Depending on how you water them I mean if you mist them you might have to do it

more frequently like a couple times a week

If you soak them like how I'm doing it you can probably get away with it

maybe like once every other week or something like that it

you will see your plant you'll know the

Environment that you're in you'll see kind of like if it's drying out if it's not growing if it's not happy or if it's shriveling

that usually means you need to water it a bit more

Everyone's environment is different so it's hard to say a specific

frequency at which you need to be watering your plants

Sorry, the camera is kind of like hard to catch up when I'm looking at the air plant itself I'm not at the camera half

the time I'm like recording here but looking down here and

But hopefully you guys are kind of getting the idea of how to fully is water your air plants so this looks good to me

everything looks pretty

evenly ma-hoistend

So I'd say that these air plant little guys are fully

ready to move on

Not only would this make for a really great gift for somebody else but it makes for a really great gift for yourself as well

because it's something that quite literally will grow

with you and you can either add all at once or slowly over time either way it's very fun and unique
