Trump Admin To CUT Subsidies For Renewable Energy, Still Give BILLIONS For Fossil Fuel - Duration: 3:37.

On Monday of this week, Donald Trump's economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, announced that the

United States, the Trump administration, is going to be ending subsidies for electric

vehicles and other renewables in the next two years.

Money to incentivize people to save energy, to be more efficient to, God forbid, help

the environment a little bit.

We're going to kill those.

You no longer are going to get a big tax break for buying an electric vehicle.

You no longer going to be able to write off part of the cost of putting solar panels on

your home or buying energy efficient appliances.

We are ending all of that because to hell with the planet will all be long dead by the

time the really bad parts of climate change effect this entire country.

That's basically the message that Larry Kudlow and by extension, the entire Trump administration

and Republican party are sending to the United States right now.

Not just because they're killing those subsidies, but because they're not killing the $7,000,000,000

in subsidies that we give as a country every single year to fossil fuel companies.

Some of the most profitable companies here in the United States, you know Exxon Shell,

Chevron, BP companies that make 20, 30, $40, billion dollars a year in profit.

We fork over another $7,000,000,000 to them each year out of our tax dollars.

Just for the hell of it.

Just for the hell of it.

Think about that.

Exxon who routinely makes profits close to $40,000,000,000 a year.

We just give them extra money.

Our tax dollars, $7 billion a year total between all fossil fuel industries just because, because

we we can because we have it because there's literally nothing better in this country to

spend that on.

Maybe not Medicare for all.

Instead Debt Free College, paying down student loan debt.

Something.

Anything better than giving it to the people who are not only poisoning the planet, poisoning

citizens, but they're lying about it and have been sent since at least the 19 seventies.

Their own documents show that, but sure.

Let's keep forking over $7,000,000,000 to them.

Let's cut subsidies for renewable energy.

Let's just have a massive party right now and end this planet as we know it because

that's what Republicans are pushing us toward.

That's what they want.

That's what's going to happen under their policies.

This past midterm, 2018 was a very strong rebuke of everything that Republicans and

conservatives stand for.

Maybe not in the Senate, but at least in the House of Representatives.

They're pushing a green new deal.

Republicans led by Trump and Kudlow are trying to take us backwards.

They're taking us back in time.

Unfortunately, we can't take the actual planet back in time to when it wasn't burning down

due to our own emissions, but they want to take policy back to the 19 seventies, sixties,

hell, twenties, tens, whatever it is.

They just want to burn it all down, get as much money as possible and screw over the

industries and the consumers who were actually trying to make the world a little bit brighter

for the future generation.

That's what the Republicans stand for today.

Oh, Also! Episode 0: Introduction - Duration: 4:09.

Hello listener, I'm your host Ciaran Opal and I'm here to welcome you to the episode

zero of a new podcast I'm calling "Oh, Also!"

And, because this is an episode zero, I'll basically just be doing a rundown of what

we're doing here and what my plan for the rest of the series is going to be.

So, first things first, what is this podcast?

You know, you can read descriptions and all that, but that doesn't mean anything in the long run.

Gotta tell me, gotta hear it from me.

What is this podcast?

Well, this podcast is going to be sort of a… chat podcast.…

uh….

90% improvised.

Just kind of me and possibly even guests one day talking about… something.

Could be another podcast, could be a subject, could be a recent media happening, could be

writing, could be cats (laugh).

I've got a whole list of just stuff to talk about.

And of course, I would love always to hear from people who enjoy my content.

If you want to hear me talk about something, um, then I'll (laugh) do my darndest to talk about it.

Uh.

With, of course, should research be needed -- or should it not, I just want to back myself

up -- all sources cited because.

I am an academic, gosh darn it, and if I want to cite my sources for a goof podcast I can.

And also, you know, maybe you guys want to learn more about the thing too.

And... That's the basic gist of what we're doing here.

And I know you're thinking -- because if you're finding this content you've probably

been around me and my content for a while -- "Opal, you've been making advances

in accessibility in your art.

Is it gonna extend to this podcast?"

The answer is yes!

I will be transcribing each episode by myself as sort of a dual accessibility and editing

tool?

This is an improvised podcast, but that means I can "improvise" (giggle) solutions to

awkward pauses and silences and stuff like that.

Hopefully, episodes will be going up about … every two weeks, once every two weeks,

um, just so I can have time to … move around life, as I have a very specific recording

time period I have.

To make sure I have enough content.

I mean if I'm running out of options I gotta wait for that new Adventure Zone episode to

come out. (cut off laugh)

Uh, I'll probably set a weekday….

Sometime in the future, when I have a better idea of how long these take me to produce

and when I have time to do… stuff!

So this is episode zero, I've said pretty much all I want to say, so this is gonna be

shorter than usual.

But!

I hope you enjoy future episodes, thank you for checking in, and I will see you next time!

[pause]

Hello, it's me again, back with some post-recording notes because I have recorded this endnote

three times and the introduction six times and I think I'd like to put an end to that.

The first note being: hopefully, the day of the week I have chosen in advance is Saturday, so this

would be up every other Saturday.

The second note being: I do swear, should that be a content concern of yours.

Um.

I probably won't censor it, because I don't know a lot about audio editing and I have

a feeling (laugh) that my audience will not need very basic swears and infrequent… swears

censored.

Um.

And then the third note, kind of related to that: I… am a novice at both podcasting,

at voice acting, and audio editing and…

any amount of patience I would be very grateful for.

Any feedback you have, if you have tips on how to do podcasts better, I am very open

to those as well.

So, with the addition of those final notes, thank you for tuning in, I will see you next

time, and have a good… evening, day, whatever it should be for you!

Como tener Carga Inalámbrica en cualquier teléfono Android - Duration: 3:48.

hello friends today let's see how to load wireless form telephones that do not have

wireless charge and let's see how it works These devices to charge without wires.

well then to have inlamamarca load we need first a receiving card like the one

You see, it's very very fine, this one you see puts which delivers up to 1 amp of maximum load,

Then I'll check if that's true.

and well there are basically two types one with the short cable like this that you see and another with

the longest cable, the longest cable you may put the sensor on

fingerprints if you have it back like me so I bought the short cable that is this

what do you see?

we are also going to need a load base wireless that is this that you see that should

obviously being powered by a charger and what you see puts that is capable of delivering

9 volts and 1.1 amps or 5 volts and a amps, to deliver those 9 volts

two things have to happen one you have to connect it to a fast charge charger but

will not deliver those 9 volts and the second is that the inlamabrica card must allow

fast charge to 9 volts thing that this that I have not allowed so I will charge the phone

at 5 volts and a maximum of one ampere

so we connect the base through the connector type c and connect the card to the connector

load we see that it has an adhesive to fix it to

phone but I will not use the sticker then I want to try the card in several phones

to see how it works anyway with the cover is not going to move so we put

the cover and being transparrente the card is seen but the thickness of the phone hardly varies

in this xiaomi my 8 that has the black case it goes totally unnoticed you have to look

a lot to realize unless you look the connector that there if you notice that there is

something connected

well I will use an application that is called ampere and what it does is measure consumption in

milliamps at the moment that charges the battery and also calculates the milliamperes to the

that the battery is being discharged like now that marks me about 170 mA approximately, what

I start loading and we have to wait until the application detects and marks about 700 800 milliamperes

approximately that is pretty close to amp that appears in the specifications,

for those who do not know much of milliamps maybe you will have noticed that when you connect the

phone to a computer takes a lot in charge the phone so if we put the application

in operation by connecting the phone to a pc we see that it marks about 340 milliamps

as much as I dial 400 so with the charger wireless would take half of

time with a pc and in a battery of size Current average of about 3200 mA charges a 50

one hundred in one hour so we have time enough to charge the phone at night

In some internet forum I read that putting these chargers did not work well the antennas

could not work the nfc good I've tried it on several phones and it works

perfect Obviously what we are going to lose is the

connectivity of the charging port so this type of devices I recommend it on phones

that with your daily use you arrive at night without load it during the day and load it calmly

when you are sleeping if you are one of those who usually connect your phone

to pc to share your pc files to phone or vice versa you can do it without connecting

by cable and I leave you a tutorial that is very easy to follow and in fact is what I do

I currently when I want to pass files photos or videos of the phone to the pc

Well, here's the proof of these chargers wireless that are pretty good for

decrease load port wear Well, practically every day we have

to connect and disconnect the charger I say goodbye until a next video.
