HBO released the season 8 teaser trailer a few days ago.

In this video, I will breakdown this video shot by shot and will discuss it in detail.

Anyways, let's begin...

I already posted the teaser trailer a couple of days ago.

Let's take a closer look at what happened in the teaser.

Once again, just like the season 7 trailer, this teaser also shows the painted table of

Dragonstone along with some pieces on it.

The trailer begins with a fog spreading from the North and it starts moving south.

First, it covers the Last Hearth, then it covers a direwolf piece freezing it down before

reaching the neck.

The cold taking over the direwolf could mean two things.

First, maybe a direwolf would die at Winterfell and would probably become a wight, or second,

it might mean that Winterfell would fall.

If it's the first case, then we know either Ghost or Nymeria would die at Winterfell.

They are the last two direwolves left alive in this series.

If it's the second one, it seems a battle would take place at Winterfell, but since

the fog keeps spreading south, it won't be the final battle, which means, some characters

would be able to escape and will flee south.

Which one do you think will happen?

The fog also covers another piece to the left of the direwolf, which is the Unsullied piece

from season 7.

I discussed all these pieces in my season 7 episode 2 Review video.

Does it mean the Unsullied army or Grey Worm will die a little to the left of Winterfell,

maybe at White Harbor?

Probably when they are fleeing WF?

What do you think?

Then the fog continues going south and covers the Vale.

It also covers a dragonon the way.

At first I thought maybe it might be beyond the ball, which meant it was showing Viserion

being killed by the NK, but the fog was heading south, and you can see a dragon piece is on

the south while the fog is heading towards it.

What if it means another dragon would fall before the cold.

Would the NK kill Rhaegal or Drogon too?

Having one wight dragon was bad enough but having too would be really bad.

Who do you think the dragon piece represents?

Rhaegal or Drogon?

You can also see the fog covering another piece to the left of the dragon.

It also looks like the Unsullied piece to me.

Who do you think it represents?

We can also see another piece a little south to the right side, which I think might be

a bear which probably represents Bear Island because it seems like the piece is on an Island?

It could have been pyke but the piece didn't look like the Greyjoy piece.

Does the piece look like a bear to you too?

I would have said it's the sisters but that would have been on the left side of the map?

Then we see the fire coming from the south.

It covers the lion, which I think might be Lannisport or Casterly Rock.

The other piece doesn't look like a fish but it might be Riverrun.

The fire moves north, burning everything in it's path and crosses two castles, which

could have been the twins which means they might meet somewhere between the twins, the

Vale, and a little south of the Neck.

That's where I think the final battle between the living and the dead would take place.

And did you notice that wherever the Ice and the Fire collides, it leaves black stone behind.

The black stone is probably Obsidian aka Dragonglass.

According to Maester Luwin in the books, Obsidian is forged in the fires below the earth, but

Melisandre says this about it, "Dragonglass.

Frozen Fire, in the tongue of Old Valyria.

Small wonder it is anathema to these cold children of the Other."

We know Dragonglass can kill the Whitewalkers, and in the show, it can also kill the Wights.

Does this mean the army of the dead would die wherever Ice and Fire would collide?

Or maybe ice and fire meeting and producing Dragonglass is representing Ice aka Jon & Fire

aka Dany's unborn child?

BTW, did you notice that King's Landing wasn't affected by any of it?

I think it means the war for the dawn would finish before it reaches King's Landing.

The Ice doesn't go farther south than the Neck.

As for when the trailer would drop in?

I have heard rumors that it might drop in around Christmas.

I really hope those rumors weren't about this teaser.

As much as I love what this teaser signifies, I'd love to watch a new full trailer before

or on Christmas.

Hello, today we are going to see how to make this adornment, which is a Christmas tree, in

Tunisian crochet. It's very easy, we start here, we increase to the

sides and then we decrease. It is not very complicated

I did it with four stitches for

the trunk. It can also be made in a different color but I did not have brown yarn.

Then I added 8 stitches on each side

We are going to do it with perlé of the number 5

that is the one that I had, but you can do it with beads,

or with whatever you like.

We make a magic ring. We put the

thread on the finger, we turn it around, insert the hook through here

and hook this end

Now we make a chain and

single crochet: 1 2 3

4

5 and 6 Enough

Pull the end of the magic ring and close the circle

And now we join this last stitch with the

first single crochet by a slip stitch

chain to finish

cut and the circle

is ready. We have two ends and we have to put them together

Insert the crochet through the inner hole

Insert the hook through the inner hole,

take the thread and pass it back

so we have the

2 ends together

Pull a bit

to make it look good

And now, where we are going to put the ball,

for example here,

insert the hook

from behind,

hook the two ends and pass them back

The ball is in place

Now we have to pass one of the ends

through one of the back stitches and tie them

If we do not pass one of the ends through that back stitch

we will be tying them together but

not fastening them

to the tree

Now you can make all the knots that you want

and the ball is already set

You can put as many balls as you want, of the colors you

want and distribute them as you like

We cut this

and

it's ready

Let's roll it up like this

As we just did it does not stay flat
