Gina's One-Liners: The Human Form Of The 100 Emoji | Season 4 | BROOKLYN NINE-NINE - Duration: 2:03.

Hi, Gina Linetti, the human form of the 100 emoji.

Let's give the people what they want.

Been taking an abnormal psych class.

And everyone in it is obsessed with me.

My mother cried the day I was born because she knew she

would never be better than me.

Well, you know, I've been re-Vined by Rob Kardashian,

so--

yeah, I'm a director.

People fear me.

Not to brag, but I was name-checked in my kindergarten

teacher's suicide note.

Whore, I'm great on skates.

I hang out in the men's room all the time.

[singing] The acoustics are amazing.

At any given moment, I'm thinking

about one thing, Richard Dreyfuss

hunkered over eating dog food.

This man is a Timberlake.

And you need to stop treating him like a Fattone.

I feel like I'm the Paris of people.

I figured PR would be the easiest

path to launching my reality show, "Linetti, Set, Go,"

I thought your reality show was to be

called "Gina in a Bottle?"

No, that was my fragrance line.

Keep up.

Bitch, you know I'm out of data.

I worked at a sunglass kiosk at the mall for four years,

so not only have I been through hell,

I was assistant manager there.

I'm in the middle of a feud with the "that's not a knife"

guy from "Crocodile Dundee."

He's being a real bitch.

Meet the new Gina, who always put others before herself.

Can you make the whole letter about me doing that?

Gina Linetti is the real hero here.

But isn't Gina Linetti more of a state of mind?

Like in a way, we were all Gina Linetti today.

I'm Gina Linetti.

And I approve this message.

I love you.

They look really good.

You have really nice nails.

- Jared, what the hell are you doing?

- Just giving you a little foot massage.

- Okay, do you want to meet the prime minister

of New Zealand tomorrow?

- Yes, more than anything.

Yes, I just want to be the richest

and most powerful little boy in the world.

- Okay, then stop.

- Okay.

- I'm gonna read you some excerpts from an article

I think you should hear.

What is leadership?

Is it good?

Is it bad?

That's what this article aims to find out.

Wait, what the hell are you doing?

- I'm just putting on the finishing touches.

- I can't believe I agreed to let you do this.

Of course you're gonna fuck it up.

- No, no, no, no, no, no.

You have to let me do this for you, okay?

I have to prove myself.

I went to Harvard and NYU.

Those are two of the best schools that there are,

and my dad only gave five million dollars combined to each.

I've managed The New York Observer.

I scraped together my pennies from my first job,

flipping residential buildings,

and did it for only $10 million.

I almost bought the Dodgers.

Well, then I wasn't allowed to,

but still, this will not be like that, okay?

This, I can do.

You have to let me do this.

- Okay.

Proceed.

- Okay.

(exhales) Here I go.

Oh god, okay, whoops. - Oh my god.

Instantly. (laughs) - We got polish down.

Polish down. - Instantly, you did that.

What Obama Gave Hillary During Election Is Being Called Treason - Duration: 1:46.

According to Fox News, a letter from Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said that…

Hillary Clinton was receiving classified documents… after she left the state department and during

her campaign.

Despite the fact that… even FBI Director Comey had said, extremely careless in their

handling of very sensitive… highly classified information".

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

He recently revealed that Clinton had negotiated access to classified documents… for her

and her staff even AFTER her departure in 2013… and in 2015 when she had announced

her run for president.

Grassley said… when pressed for information on whether… or not Hillary had this access

the Obama administration simply refused to answer the question.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know why they refused to respond.

"Any other government workers who engaged in such serious offenses would… at a minimum,

have their clearances suspended pending an investigation", Grassley said, Basically

Hillary was given special treatment… which is no surprise.

Apparently her reason for maintaining her clearance was to ensure accuracy for her MEMOIR!

These CLASSIFIED documents were entrusted to Hillary… and her staff after her time

was over… because of her memoir!

This ridiculousness is baffling.

President Obama should have protected classified information, instead he handed it over to

Hillary Clinton… even after she had proven she couldn't handle it.

Unlock Your Best Brain in 20 Minutes - Duration: 4:21.

It's about 2:30 now; my first conference call was at 6am; I finished working at about

1am; and my last call with the Aussies is at 11pm tonight.

And I'm not the only one who lives like this.

Americans are seriously addicted to working hard.

It's one of the reasons I came to New York.

It doesn't take a scientist to know we're probably not very efficient when we're sleep

deprived.

Obviously, we're all about the caffeine.

But when I found out there was something even more effective than my 3pm Diet Coke hit,

I was…intrigued.

[sciq intro]

New Yorkers—and most shift workers—are monophasic sleepers, meaning we have two distinct

parts of our days: one for being awake and one for being asleep.

But we're in the minority: 85% of mammalian species are polyphasic sleepers, meaning they

sleep in intervals.

Are humans really supposed to be monophasic sleepers?

I mean, we need to nap as children and we need to nap when we get older, and many Mediterranean

cultures love a nap—so why are most adults so against it?

Napping seems to have bad press.

It is seen as lazy, weak, or for people with low standards.

But what if I told you a good old-fashioned daytime snooze could actually improve your

standards?

Interested?

A study at NASA on their military pilots found that a 40-minute nap improved performance

by 34% and alertness by 100%.

Multiple studies from the University of Michigan show the benefits of napping on your ability

to learn, your reaction time, logical reasoning and symbol recognition, and that naps are

good for your mood, making you less impulsive and arming you with a greater tolerance for

frustration.

So just how long should you nap for?

Well, apparently it's quite the art form.

If you're a newcomer to napping, or if you're sleep deprived, you're at risk of falling

into a deep sleep quite quickly, which can be hard to wake from.

This feeling is known as sleep inertia, and can leave you feeling groggy—the opposite

of what you're aiming for.

So newbie snoozers are advised to have shorter naps, only 10 to 20 minutes long.

But 10 – 20 minutes is ideal for a boost in energy and alertness.

It seems that more experienced nappers are practiced at avoiding deep sleep and can enjoy

longer periods of rest without the sleepy hangover.

A 60-minute nap delivers improvement in remembering facts, faces and names so build one in to

your pre-party preparation to win over any crowd.

If you've got the luxury of a full 90 minutes, you can fit in an entire sleep cycle, complete

with REM sleep, and avoid the sleep inertia afterwards.

You also get maximum nap benefits including improved emotional and procedural memory,

and a boost in creativity.

One study showed that for people sitting a test, they attained the same learning benefits

after a 90-minute nap, as after an eight-hour sleep period.

So if you're studying or sitting an exam, nap for a full sleep cycle of 90 minutes just

after you study, and before your exam if you can.

Research shows your retrieval from memory can improve five-fold.

Five times better memory!

And all you have to do is take a nap!

With all the research to prove naps are great for productivity, creativity and morale, leading

brands like Nike and Google are setting up designated nap pods for workers.

In fact, napping at work is becoming more accepted around the globe.

In Greece, where short siestas are encouraged, studies show that in those who nap twice a

week, their rate of coronary heart disease falls by 12%.

Nap three times a week, and it fell by a huge 37%!

In America, where heart disease is the leading cause of death, we just might be able to snooze

our way back to better heart health.

What do you guys think of naps?

Has this video inspired you to consider taking them more?

I know it has for me.

The underlying principle of meditation - Observe yourself - Duration: 3:40.

To answer that question for yourself, you

need to understand where is the inner

need, line for meditation. You could have

wanted just some relaxation or more

energy in your life, some sort of clarity,

some sort of spirituality, it could be

anything. But if you carefully analyze

all these intentions, what is the

underlying need if you open those up you

will find out it's nothing but you

trying to reach to yourself and to some

sort of silence. Actually both of these

things are one in the same experience

but we'll get into that later for now my

suggestion to you is to allocate some

time in your daily life in the morning

or in the evening whenever just to do

nothing. I know it's hard and it sounds

not so convincing but that's how it

starts you need to give half an hour, 20

minutes, 45 minutes just to sit down and

do nothing and you will find out it's

very difficult in the beginning, don't

try to involve yourself into any kind of

practice and that's the hardest

route but it takes you where you should

be and in these

20 minutes, half an hour, 45 minutes

whatever just observe yourself. If you

look at all the meditation techniques

that are prescribed by spiritual gurus

and have been designed by Yogi's or

by all these guys who have researched on

consciousness they all start with

observing yourself it could be observing

your breath, it could be observing your

body, it could be observing your thoughts.

Just see that there is the underlying

observation that is needed and this

observation is actually if you go

deeper into it you will find out that

this observation is free of thoughts it's

your consciousness that is witnessing,

observing whatever you want to call it

happenings around you and that

observation itself if you allow it to

happen consciously for a longer period

of time, it changes the nature of things

for you completely.

The best way to start learning meditation - Duration: 4:06.

let's say, I am committed to learning

meditation. I somehow know that it will

bring a good part into my daily life. I

want to start practicing meditation. How

do I start? You're talking about somebody

who's a beginner, is a pure

beginner. I think for a beginner who

does not really fully understand what

meditation is, he or she needs to find a

technique that works for that person. For

example with vipasana, which is taught

quite often across the world, where you

know you sit for several hours, even

if you're a beginner. You go there and

it's a 10-day program, where it's

very difficult that you, from the very

beginning, ten hours a day you're sitting

in that silence. So I think in my opinion

that's not the best way to learn what

meditation is. This is probably if you

are very heavily committed and I

mean it could be your way, but my

suggestion is to start slow and to find

a technique which gives you that taste

of inner silence in a much shorter

period of time. In let's say if you

invest half an hour to one hour every

day. That's already a lot of time in our

busy daily life and in that if you

could very at a very early stage

experience that inner silence, the taste

of bliss, you yourself would be more

committed and you will you know find

ways to go deeper into it and you will

find your way. So the first step is to

have a technique that works for you

and in order to reach that is also not

not straight forward. I mean you have to

be either going to a mind

reader who would you know, who would

understand your state of mind right away

and give you a technique that fits to

your mind or you could try out a

selection of things which are you know

covering and touching upon meditation

from different angles and see which

one's of them you like. And then

select you know, one or two out of those

and then practice that regularly. With

meditation easy program, this is exactly

what we have done. So if you look at you

know, the the Eastern traditions there

are 112 meditation techniques in Eastern

traditions which typically cover all

mind types that can exist in human form

and you know these

techniques have been communicated to

people across ages and what we have done

here with meditation easy is we have

taken those 112 techniques we have tried

each one of them, experimented with them

and refined 30 of them which would be

applicable for people you know in

people with normal, yeah exactly life

styles and people who would like to

spend some time in their lifes to

meditation which can you know bring more

silence, more joy, more concentration

and doesn't have to necessarily you know

go into realms of higher arms of

different things.

STOP! How to pause your mind & take a break from the daily rush? Best way to stay sane - Meditation. - Duration: 5:07.

In our daily life, we are constantly in

activity involved in some running, we're

rushing.. You mean not like right now?

Exactly ,in the daily life of people they

have a feeling that they're in a

constant rush and a constant running

and that these activities never

stop and you know I think most of them

are getting tired from that constant

movement and that constant doing

something even while you're sitting

still, you're looking at your phone or

you're somehow active and I think this

question of how to stop arises in and

almost everyone but gets somehow again

unanswered. The question is how to

really stop? Yeah, but one thing before

you even answer that question how to

stop. Do you think in such a mad rush do

we even realize that we need to stop or

the rushes so involving that we do

not even realize and we totally forget

that we need to stop. So I think if

that's the case, first question should be

how do we realize that we need to stop?

And I think once that is answered and

once we are sure or once we are very

clear about this fact that we need to

somehow find a way to stop or to take a

break from this mad rush, that's the time

this question becomes relevant, how do we

do that? And one of the ways in which we

can achieve this pause is to meditate,

but even before we go into that

for a lot of people you would see that

they have

you know they involve themselves in

things that they like and in their

hobbies and that's their way to stop but

if you carefully look at that, that's

also you know that's another way

of distracting yourself from your

daily work. Actually you are never

stopping it's just that you change your

activity and you move towards things

that you now like more than before. So

that's it, but if you really want to stop

you need to bring and introduce that

pause which has nothing to do

with your hobbies, your work, your

recreation and that's where

you really get that rest that

rejuvenation that you need, it's almost

like a holiday from you know just like

when you take a break when you take a

holiday from your work the feeling

that you get it's the same thing but you

replicate that in your everyday

day-to-day life not after three months

or six months of constantly moving and

then taking a break. Yeah that makes

sense, I mean let's say I have realized

that I want these daily breaks, I

don't consider the holiday or my hobbies

a break enough from all the activities.

Let's consider I want to bring that

break in my daily life so how do I do

that and what is this break? You mean a

meditative break? Yes. Yeah the first

thing that you have to do is to

commit to it. You have to start somewhere

and you have to allocate a certain time

and space for that in your life, but a

lot of people until they

see the benefits of this

commitment would not come. But I think

there is some basic investment of

oneself of time and space, it is required

for anything and same goes for

meditation and once you start doing it

once you start seeing the benefits of it

or the experience of it, I'm sure you

would know you would not need any reason

any longer to know why you should

meditate met will become crystal clear

on its own. Definitely.
