Who's being hunted by a mysterious alien force on board a futuristic spaceship!
"Morgan" is a man who's been the subject
Of some experiments designed to improve the Human Race And grant them "Alien" Powers!
The game takes places in a different time
Where "John F. Kennedy", the U.S. President survives the assassination attempt in 1963
"Kennedy" started then funding the "Space Program" Projects
With the show-up of an "Alien" forces attacking "Earth"
Called the "Typhon"
"Earth" forces have won the fight and captured the "Typhon"
And by so, they've built a Space station
As an expanded prison for them
That orbit around Earth's moon, "Talos I"
But after some incidents occured in that station between Scientists
The United States shutters the project!
In Year 2032, "TranStar", a U.S. Corporation acquired the station
And used it to create "Neuromods"
That can restructure the human brain to grant new abilities!
The game starts with you awakening on board of the "Talos 1"
When you discover that something is seriously wrong in the station
The "Typhoon" taked down the station
And are hunting the last remaining humans on the facility!
Rooming around the place, you will discover many secrets
And that there are several types of "Typhon"
Each with vastly different powers!
There are the "Mimics"
That can camouflage themselves to look like ordinary objects
And they will have a place in the game's story
Where they'll teach "Morgan" how to transform too
Also the "Phantoms", Larger than "Mimics"
hey appear like human shadows, but much more terrifying!
Along with the "Cystoids", "Poltergeists", "Telepaths"
And the "Nightmare Typhon"
From them "Morgan" will learn abilities
In order to fight them and defend himself!
Those Abilities are classed as
The "Mimic Matter", "Lift Field", "Kinetic Blast",
"Mindjack", "Superthermal", "Psychoshock",
"Remote Manipulation" and "Leverage"!
For the Weapons, the player will use
"GLOO Cannon"
Which fires instantly setting glue in order
To stop enemies and can create ramps and walls
Or cover steam vents and fires so that you can pass unharmed!
There's also the "Recycler Charge"
And the "Disruptor Stun Gun"
The game has also the "Crafting-System"
You can build tools that helps you explore the space
Outside the station and use some resources
Although the game is going to be a big hit
The developers declared that it won't have a sequel
They just said that
"We decided the best thing to do was just to not proceed. That's just it"
The game's more psychological rather than being a horror one!
Using the "CryEngine"
That according to the dev. that this new version
Will help make the PC version "really flawless" on its release!
