PERSEVERANCE.

MAGNUS IS PUTTING THE FINISHING

TOUCHES ON A PROJECT.

>> THERE ARE LETTERS FROM HENRY

MILLER.

SIERRA: THE LIBRARY HAS FOUND A

SECOND HOME IN CARMEL.

DOING IT.

THE WORLD WAR II GUYS ARE IN

THEIR 90'S.

THE VIETNAM WAR VETERANS ARE IN

THEIR 70'S.

LETICIA: INSTEAD OF MOPING

ABOUT, SHE DECIDED TO WRITE A

CHECK AND DO ALL THE WORK TO

SAVE IT.

KEEPING THE PARADE GOING IS

TWO YEARS AGO AND WAS A VETERAN

OF TWO WARS.

HE ALWAYS ENJOYED PARTICIPATING

IN THE PARADE.

>> I NAMED THIS AFTER MY DAD

BECAUSE HE WAS A VETERAN OF

WORLD WAR II AND THE KOREAN WAR.

>> SHE REALLY STEPPED UP TO THE

PLATE.

LETICIA: VETERANS ARE SO

IMPRESSED BY HER GESTURE.

>> SHE'S NOTHING LESS THAN A

FOUR FOOT WONDER THAT CAME TO

RESCUE US AT THE LAST MOMENT.

LETICIA: SHE SAYS IT HAS BEEN A

HUGE UNDERTAKING BUT IS THRILLED

THAT WITH THE HELP OF SOME

VETERANS, SHE PULLED IT OFF.

THE NAYSAYERS IS SAID TO ME

THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO YOU CAN

PULL THIS TOGETHER.

AND I DID IT IN LESS THAN TWO

MONTHS.

>> THEY'RE GOING TO BE REAL

HAPPY BECAUSE THEY HAVE COME TO

EXPECT IT OVER THE LAST 50

YEARS.

LETICIA: 75 FLOWS ARE EXPECTED.
