Digital art is different from a lot of the traditional media

whether it's sculpture or painting or things of that sort.

The reason it's different is one word: Software.

Artists are taking advantage of all kinds of technology

to produce their work

including computing devices and networks.

My name is Vint Cerf

and I'm sometimes known as one of the fathers of the internet.

We're in a precarious state with regard to preservation of digital content

over long periods of time.

Think about the people with mobiles that take pictures

hoping that they will preserve those pictures for their descendants.

What we don't know is whether any of the digital media

can last for 150 years

Partly because either the media disintegrates

or we can't find a reader that can read the bits.

It is very laborious for artists and for preservation specialists

to constantly keep recreating a piece of software for example

or a website keeping the artwork intact.

My name is Dragan Espenschied

and I'm the preservation director at Rhizome.

I used to be a home computer folk musician or a chip tune musician.

Rhizome is one of the few institutions

that have been created in the 90s

out of the artist community, to create tools that are enabling artists

to preserve what they think is important on the internet.

We have a program that's similar in many ways

to an art museum, but our museum is our website.

In order to preserve a digital art object over a long period of time,

the software that that object relies on for execution has to work.

If you think about removing a painting

from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel,

then the loss of that context would have a really major impact

on people's understanding of that work.

So you have to think what is the context,

what is the technical surroundings of these kinds of works.

Rhizome has focused its attention on preservation methods

to capture and render these digital artworks over what we hope will be a long period of time.

It is great that Google Arts and Culture is engaging in that field

because Google is one of those providers of systems

where a lot of artists are actually active.

Digital art needs to be preserved for the same reason

any art needs to be preserved

I think our cultural heritage really is such an important part

of telling us who we are.

This is how human kind in general is able to grow

by looking at what has happened before.

We're going to have to work in order to preserve that knowledge

and to preserve the artifacts that go with it

because this is a digital world that we live in.

Sumin.

(Episode 123) Let's go in.

Cheer up, okay?

Your face has "I'm sulking" written all over it.

I'm not sulking. I'm angry.

Although they're my parents,

I'm ashamed and angered

by how they've disrespected the man I chose.

I don't get how they can judge a book by its cover.

On their behalf, especially on my mom's behalf,

I offer you a formal apology.

I'm sorry.

No.

If I did better,

you'd suffer less, my sweet Sumin.

I'm sorry.

I have nothing on you, Hyeongsik,

so stand proud.

No matter when or where,

don't cower, and always stand proud.

Okay?

Okay. I'll stand proud.

We'll live proud, okay?

Wipe off that long face. Smile.

Smile.

Let's go in.

It won't work?

Suho,

be level-headed for Yoon Ga Food's sake.

Another company did research and development on it.

Regretfully, it's too risky to jump into this now.

And this isn't bad, either,

but it's nothing new.

There are many enhanced, enriched doenjangs.

Even we have shiitake mushroom doenjang stew,

and we also launched lentil doenjang stew.

Doenjang can be limiting,

but don't we need something novel and unique

to gain a competitive edge?

We can do it.

I'll develop the winning product.

You trust me, right?

Why no answer?

Don't you trust me?

Yoon Suho, I'm asking this of you

not as your brother, but as the executive director.

Please develop a winner for Yoon Ga, Mr. Yoon.

Do me a solid.

I weathered that crisis thanks to you.

I'm so grateful.

I'll pay back the first half by the month's end.

Okay.

You're busy, so go back in.

Bye.

Okay. Bye. Let's stay in touch.

Ms. Oh.

You go ahead.

Okay.

It's been a long time.

Are you here to see Bitna?

I saw her, and I'm on my way back.

You're doing well, right?

Of course.

I trust you're well, too.

Yes.

A teacher like you should've stayed on.

I'm sorry.

Hi, Mr. Choi.

But I had an important engagement last night.

Yes, yes. Sure.

Then let's grab a drink after work tonight.

Sounds good. Okay.

Ms. Oh must have been a teacher.

Really?

I think it would've suited her.

Wait. Was she a cram school teacher?

Otherwise, why would she have quit?

Maybe.

Right. Eunho's sister... That's right.

She was charged with assault.

Assault? Who?

Ms. Oh probably got fired for assaulting a student.

Park-ttery...

I mean, Ms. Park, how would you know that?

My memory is fuzzy,

but I think I heard it somewhere.

You must be mistaken.

That's outrageous.

I swear. She really assaulted...

What I mean is, she was framed

for assaulting a student and had to quit.

Ms. Oh can't know that you know.

Mum is the word.

What's going on?

Huh? Nothing. Nothing.

Get back to work. Find that document.

Hello.

Mr. Yoon Suho.

I came by to say hi.

Oh, wow. Great.

Eunsu, a word?

Sure. Go, go.

I wonder if Mr. Yoon knows, too.

No, wait. Do you think CEO Yoon, Director Yoon,

and Director Kim all know about it?

Geez. She didn't assault a student.

She was framed.

I shouldn't have said anything.

You must be very upset.

Don't lose courage. Buck up.

I'm full of courage after seeing you.

But I think you should go to mother's house alone.

You can go alone, right?

I still haven't called to confirm,

so I won't go, either.

I'll meet you at the restaurant after work.

Let's do it together. I'll help.

It's okay, so go and see mother.

I'll feel worse if you're with me.

I'll ask for help if I need it, okay?

I came to see you and grandma.

You'll be very late?

What about grandma?

At the welfare center?

Then I'll wait for her.

Okay.

Okay, grandma. I'll wait.

Take your time.

Why are you here?

What do you mean, why? This is my mom's house.

Oh. I'm your older sister here,

so it's "big sis," not Eunsu.

Oh? Bitna. Eunsu.

Did you come to see me?

Yes, among other things.

This is great.

I was actually thinking of you, Eunsu.

Me?

I kept being reminded of the curry you made.

You'll make it for us, right?

Eunsu sure is a good cook.

Eunsu, you'll make it for us, right?

No, but I have a great idea.

Sumin, you want to learn how to cook, right?

They're too thick.

Make them thinner.

Huh? Oh...

- Like this? / - Yes. that's right.

The onion pieces are all different sizes.

Watch it, kiddo.

She doesn't have a lot of experience.

You can't even chop onions at your age?

That's right.

I wonder why she still can't even chop onions.

Do a better job.

Wow. Yours came out great, Nara.

I do it a lot, since I don't have a mom.

What's keeping you?

Just a second. I need a quick break.

My eyes sting. Good grief.

Do you have sliced bread?

Sliced bread?

My eyes sting, and now my belly hurts, too.

Ma'am, here.

I'm too young to be called "ma'am."

You look old enough to me.

It's no use to fan yourself.

Take this, ma'am.

I'm going to eat curry later.

I don't want it.

Put it in your mouth, and it lessens the stinging.

Can I ask you something?

Sure.

Do kids make fun of you for having no mom?

Some do, and some don't.

Tell me if anyone does.

I'll chew them out.

Why would you do that?

Because it's upsetting.

It's bad enough that you have no mom,

so it's more upsetting when you get taunted.

I used to get upset,

but only when we were little.

We have our dad, though.

Dad loves us very much.

Ow. Ow, my arm. Ow.

Uri must still be napping.

I'm going to the store.

What for?

I don't think we have enough curry powder.

You can stir-fry the potatoes, right?

The potatoes... No, I can't.

I'll go buy it.

Nara, come with me.

Okay.

We're off.

- Let's go. / - See you.

What's she doing inside?

Anyone there?

Hello?

I'm here.

Kim Bitna.

Are you feeling unwell?

Kim Bitna.

There's no toilet paper.

I'll give you toilet paper, but say,

"Big sis, toilet paper, please?"

Stop joking around, and just give it to me.

You said you'd call me "big sis" here,

so if you call me that while we're here,

I'll give you toilet paper.

If you don't want to... Oh, well.

You can wait until someone else gets here.

By the way, Nara and Sumin went to the store.

Big sis, toilet paper, please.

Sorry?

Big sis, toilet paper, please.

What? I can't hear you.

Big sis, toilet paper, please.

What? I can't hear a word.

You heard me!

Big sis! Toilet paper, please!

Mr. Kim.

Hi. You're home early.

I was working on a storyline at the cafe.

I have to head back out.

Have you decided to become a writer?

No.

It'll be hard, but I'll try doing both jobs.

I won't get my appointment right away,

so I'll keep writing for now.

I see.

Do your best without ruining your health.

Okay.

- Let's go in. / - Okay.

The curry came out very well.

I didn't make it.

Bitna and Sumin did all the work.

Our princess made this?

Yes.

Big sis helped.

Enjoy, everyone.

It's extra tasty because Bitna made it.

I'll make it for you again.

Who wants more curry?

One more for me.

I'll all set with this.

I prefer small portions.

Okay.

Hey.

Why aren't you asking me?

I want more, too.

Mind your manners, young lady.

How can you call your big brother "hey"?

Prince Eunho has 2 years on you.

Grandma, "Prince Eunho" makes me cringe.

A princess' older brother has to be a prince.

Am I right?

I suppose...

All set then.

If you don't want to call him "big brother,"

you can call each other "prince" and "princess."

Bitna,

I don't think "hey" is acceptable.

Call him "big brother" from now on.

It seems only right, given the pecking order.

We're finally on the same page.

Since we're on the topic, let's have her

call him "big brother."

Big brother. Big brother.

She's so mean.

Can't I start next time?

It makes me feel awkward.

You must start saying it to get used to it.

Am I right?

Yes.

Bitna.

Big brother.

Big brother, more curry, please.

Yes, okay. Sure, Bitna.

More curry for my little sister.

I saw Jae-eun this afternoon.

Do you see her often?

Every now and again.

Jae-eun and Bomi are my only high school friends.

Why aren't you going back to teaching?

I thought you would when you cleared your name.

Aren't you going back?

I don't think I can.

Why not?

I haven't done it in 8 years.

I don't know the latest teaching methods,

and I'm not sure if I can be a good teacher.

Frankly, I'm scared.

Because of me?

Scared that you'll have another student like me?

Yes.

I still don't know what to do if I encounter

another student in pain like you.

That's why I'm not confident

and find teaching scary.

I really wanted to be a good teacher.

That was my dream.

But if I can't be a good teacher,

it's better not to teach, for the students' sake.

I swear I'm not even interested,

but she's bragging to everyone

that I see her as my rival.

Isn't that super petty?

It is.

You really don't see her as a rival?

We're just not of the same caliber.

I swear I have no interest in her.

It can't be helped then.

It's best for classmates to get along,

but just ignore her

if she's a lost cause.

Let her live with her delusions.

There's a kid like that in my class, too.

He's awful at math and English,

but he always answers in English.

He'll say things like, "Of course."

You're awful at math and English, too.

Geez. Did I say I was good?

I'm awful at those things. I know.

That's very cool of you, Uri.

You must have courage to admit your flaws.

Only then can you get better.

This is why your math scores improved.

Look at the time.

Kids, let's get ready for bed.

Yes?

Is the counseling session over?

Yes.

Now I need you for counseling.

We can't go this way.

Geez.

Please let go of me.

Good grief.

Why on earth are you doing this?

Tell me why you dragged me all the way here.

I did a role reversal exercise in my head.

Role reversal with whom?

With father.

If my daughter Nara was behaving like you,

what would I have done?

I didn't have to think hard.

I got my answer right away.

If I were your father, I would've

come down hard on someone like me.

I would have killed him a long time ago.

So you're saying we should break up?

That's not what I'm saying.

In order to win over your parents,

let's not run away.

I want to take them on head on.

How?

Move back in and stay with your parents.

You should do that,

since it'll be more reassuring for your parents.

I'll come see your parents every day

and convince them how great I am

and what a good match

I am for you.

That won't make my mom budge.

Sumin,

put yourself in her shoes.

Don't you get how she feels?

I know. I do understand.

Why aren't you turning in?

I can't sleep.

Just give in, and it'll be fine.

Why do you always tell me to give in?

This is too important a matter.

This is worlds apart from Suhyeon and Suho's cases.

Do you think I'm happy about this?

I'm having a hard time, too.

Then don't say anything to me.

Sumin's future rides on this.

There's no way I'll say yes,

so don't try to convince me.

That wretched girl.

She's the most wretched girl in the world.

Your wretched daughter is home.

Why are you here?

You acted like you'd never come back.

I understand how you feel.

If you understand, you'll do as I say, right?

Sumin.

Good thinking.

I do understand,

but now I'm a mother, too.

And Hyeongsik is my babies' father.

I can't back down.

And I'm a mother, too.

I won't back down, either!

Tony Robbins: How To Become Unstoppable (Tony Robbins Motivation) - Duration: 22:26.

when you get in certain states you think

one thought when you get other states

you think another thoughts like turning

the channel and so what I really show

people how to do is how to turn the

channel so that you're not suffering and

you're living in a beautiful state what

does it take let's just quickly say it

number one it takes acknowledging what

your favorite flavors are suffering is

it worry is it stress is it anger is it

loneliness is it boredom is it

overwhelmed and then noticing what are

the thoughts that trigger that and

realizing it doesn't matter how much

money you have those thoughts can still

make a billionaire crazy and frustrated

and overwhelmed and so what I show

people to do is a process of how to let

go of those thoughts and we walk through

that in the book in detail but

fundamentally it starts with making the

most important decision of your life

which is if I would ask me up until two

years ago I would have said to spend

time with who you love

because who you spend time with this who

you become I think it's a I think it's

still one of the most important

decisions in life but you can take the

right person and still do things that

you had to make yourself miserable so

you really have to decide most important

decision is do I want to be happy will I

commit to being happy more importantly

happy sometimes you'd be so happy to

smile so much baser try any variety am i

committed living in a beautiful state

even when it doesn't go my way even when

it rains on my parade even when my

biggest fear shows up because I can't

control whether you're husband and wife

will live or die or get sick or leave

you or get a divorce I don't want any of

that to happen any human being I hate

suffering I do anything I can't help

people not suffer but I can't control

that you can you can there are people

have lost the arms lost their sight

they're the people that have been

through the most horrific experience of

life and they found a way to still be

happy because they made the decision

that life is too short to suffer I the

interview

dozens and hundreds over the years but

dozens that like have impacted my soul

that made me realize I can change this

I've just gotten used to it I bought in

the theory that this this survival

software that's constantly running and

making you suffer

that that's normal no that's what the

mind will do and mind has been around

forever what I'm going to do is

something different and the way I get

out of suffering I gave myself a 90

second rule it's really simple

I say look I feel myself starting to

feel that stress doing that pissed off

this or upsetness or concern or worry

but Mike it whenever I realize that's

not going to make it better

life's too short to suffer and then I

just kind of breathe slowly slow

everything down and I just watch the

globe I know look at that crazy fucker

Oh buddy that crazy thought serve

instead of thought I'm gonna kill that

son of a bitch right it doesn't you

don't kill him because you don't believe

that thought it's the thoughts that are

stressful that you believe that mess you

up when you question them you break the

pattern and then the last thing besides

the 90 seconds and by the way Richard be

honest in the beginning it should have

been left for our rule it's maybe a four

day rapport I was not very good

awaiting yes but what's nice is the more

of Dennis like a muscle the more I've

trained myself to do all I can

authentically tell you now it takes a

lot for something to take more than 90

seconds for me now and the level of joy

surpasses all the money you could ever

have in a million years and then the

money it's easier to even make money

because you're not attached you don't

have the fears you don't have the

scarcity that people have because you

feel so rich already right now I wish

some people don't wait to be rich

what is that richness its abundance joy

its happiness its contribution is

getting out of yourself because as long

as we're thinking about oh my god

I lost something or you did something I

have less love less respect less money

if I think loss less or because you did

something or because I do something I'm

never going to have what I want in my

life lost less than ever those three

thought patterns they're the source of

all suffering and we have to go see it

for what it really is

no it's BS and find something to

appreciate

you know a lot of times people do

revalue language they do mean people

they know what's going on but they don't

do much about it because they've kind of

they've gotten used to it I always tell

people you get what you tolerate and if

you go to meeting and everybody's on

their cell phone while you're talking

about something important and you just

let that continue pretty soon the

meetings are a total waste of time

so what I really believe is when you

read something gonna act on it you've

got to do something you can't lead other

people if you're the one on your phone

is a little meeting either right so you

got to lead by example you've got to not

tolerate with yourself or other people

things that don't support what you are

and you've got when you see there's a

challenge you seen or something that's

not congruent they're saying one thing

and they're feeling another you got a

Metacomet so tell me more what's really

going on if you get in the habit of

doing that then you're never going to be

bored in a business meet again first of

all people get bored because people are

just saying the same things over and

over again they're managing their

business they're managing their life

they're not innovating they're not

creating they're not digging deep

they're not pushing each other when you

get a culture of people it all it takes

is one where our leader steps in and

they will not settle for a half-assed

answer and it make it be playful they

can be funny if it can be warm they can

be direct they can be crazy about it but

they keep probing you're going to get to

what's real and when you get to what's

real that's when you start creating

breakthroughs in business and in life

there is another level the only reason

you keep seeing there isn't is you feel

so exhausted about where you are but

life the universe or God is just testing

you because there is another level if

this is good

giant jump to excellence giant start

good poor to good to excellence there's

a level where all your dreams are

realized there's a level that you've

always dreamed about it is real it has

not gone away but it takes that extra

burst where you think there's nothing

left there's no way you've tried

everything ten million times and you

keep going it's almost like God is

saying if you keep hitting this wall

enough times I will see that you will

not stop that you were filled with that

level of determination faith and courage

and then the door opens and you get to

that next level but most people don't

know is

the next level is just Emily your spouse

and it's called outstanding ladies and

gentlemen outstanding what the god what

the call what's it called outstanding

magnificent unstoppable extraordinary

not excellent it's a different level

it's a level where you are not one of

the best you are the best you know

what's amazing

you only have to be two living is more

than everybody else in me and everything

you get the joy the last day Devon the

family the passion the economics the

freedom the spirit is all there what

Jerry Maguire called the quad maybe all

of it and it's just two million years

above and most excellent people give up

because they're exhausted and their some

people go the harder I hit it the more I

hit it sooner or later it's going down

I'm not stopping and when you do that

enough it pops open this could be the

greatest time you ever live if you

control what you focus on if you find a

more empowering meaning and if you

decide to model the actions of those who

succeeded before you it can be the best

financial time the best emotional times

of a spiritual time of your life but you

better take control of your state and if

you think you're going to do it just by

today you're wrong you're going to need

to get yourself some rituals right now

every one of you this room is controlled

by your rituals I don't just mean this

one I mean every morning you get up I

know your body I can look at your body

right now and I can guess your rituals

some of you your rituals to work out

five times a week I can see it clearly

four to six times a week it's obvious

because you couldn't look like that if

you didn't do that some form of workout

I don't care it's walking lifting

whatever some of you is obviously

lifting weights as far you can see about

a man's muscles I know I know what his

rituals are because your life comes from

your rituals if you don't develop the

ritual you're kidding yourself how many

degrees me on this right hand say I and

there are rituals to put you in State

number tool to take you out of state

these are rituals in your relationship

you've rituals with your body you have

rituals around your finances and the

rituals that works in the reaping time

of fall in the markets and in business

and in real estate

those rituals won't work

if you do the right thing

at the wrong time you get pain I'll say

that again

if you do the right you go by talking

I'm doing the right thing but I'm not

being rewarded if you do the right thing

at the wrong time you don't get rewarded

you get paid so you better do the right

thing at the right time and do that you

better know what season you're in to do

that you're going to learn how to change

your state how to take control of your

own conditioning that's what I live for

does this make sense to you yes or no

come on guys yes or no so now it's time

to train yourself to do that I'll show

you how fast I can change

try this is for a second I want to show

you what you can do with just focus try

this for a moment I'm going to give you

a test sit up in your chair with some

energy make sure buddy next using a

strong state it will otherwise adjust

their state come on change the

physiology what am I gonna do Keith

you're ticklish that might help I'll do

this I want to look around this room

right now and find everything in this

room that you can find is Brown it's

fast you can look around look around

look for Brown look around look around

you look for Brown look around look for

Brown okay close your eyes I'm gonna

give you tests with your eyes closed now

shout out loud everything you saw that

was red if you see a lot more Brown

right now than red say yes open your

eyes look for red now I want you to

really look for red look for red look

for red look for red anything exciting

it's red look for red all around you

look for red raise your hand if you

feeling more red this time and say aye

why did you find more red this time cuz

seek and you shall that's right whenever

you focus on you're going to find it in

fact let me tell you something you'll

even find it when it's not there how

many saw burgundy called it red just so

you can have more things you count in

raise your hand say aye

come on see whatever you're looking for

you're going to find so if you want to

change your life my friends you got to

change your physiology and you got to

change your focus by the way how fast

can you change that stuff how fast my

friends how fast how fast come on in a

heartbeat once you reach Ange your

conditioning that's all you got to do

get it fast

you do it a question or two try this

right now answer this question in your

mind and be honest

what in your life today if you wanted to

be could you feel proud about right now

if you want to feel proud if you do like

I shouldn't be proud if you want to so

proud what could you be proud of in your

life today your children your help your

body is there a problem you faced

instead of running from it you finally

stepped up and handled it what could you

feel proud of in your life today if you

wanted to feel proud how many could make

it something and when you think about

this thing you're proud of what about

that makes you feel proud

what do you focus on that makes you feel

proud how do you breathe when you really

start to feel proud what kind of look on

your faces starts to happen when you let

yourself feel proud yeah how's it feel

think of another area life-saving air

your life that you're grateful for or

you know I'm not grateful if you wanted

to be grateful what's an area you could

feel grateful for look if you feel

grateful for if you really wanted to

feel grateful

how many can think of something you can

feel grateful for these days your hands

and what about that are you grateful for

what do you focus on that makes you feel

grateful how does it feel when you're

really truly feeling filled with

gratitude

here's one if you wanted to be excited

about your life right now and you're

willing to be excited you wrote a book

everybody else's trend what cuz you feel

excited about in your life if you wanted

to feel excited what could you get

excited about if you really focused on

it and you really took it in and you

were in a negative place what could you

get excited about if you wanted to be

excited in your life what could you get

excited about how many of you can think

of something you feel excited about

right now raise your hand if use your

hand say aye

when you're really excited about it what

about that excite you or when you're

really excited how do you feel how do

you speak what's your life like by the

way when you're excited does it tend to

touch other people yes or no absolutely

but are we do people have a tendency but

who feels different right now they're

just even a couple moments ago right

hands they I why because focus is

controlled by questions if you ask a

different question continuously not once

continuously you will get a different

answer if you ask a lousy question you

get allow the answer in a lousy state

sometimes why does this always happen to

me it doesn't always happen to you but

the brains like a computer ask it a

question it'll have to come up with an

answer because you deserve it you idiot

someone will say how come I can never

lose weight you can't lose weight but if

you keep saying how come I can ever lose

weight then we're going to come an

answer goes you're a pig lousy questions

great what lousy answers ask a better

question get a better answer now here's

what I want you to get I want you to get

that you can change your state how fast

guys how fast how fast and if you get

the habit of doing it you have a

different life

so what we've got to do is make that

change in those standards that's what

the shifts happen doesn't happen any

other place and I give you a very simple

example if you want to know the

difference in people's lives it all

comes down to what are the things that

are must view versus shifts so let me

tell you this we said to have an

extraordinary life you got to have an

extraordinary psychology right

extraordinary psychology means you got

to live in an extraordinary state to be

an extraordinary state you got to

condition your nervous system your body

your physiology and focus to be at their

best do you agree with this yes or no

then to do that though you can do that

why doesn't everybody not cuz you can't

we all have the ability it's because of

our standards I remember a time earlier

my career is about 24 and I went to do a

seminar in Boston and those days a big

seminar for me was like 125 people there

was a three-day seminar and we worked

around the clock and people made such

extraordinary changes in their life and

at the end of it I was feeling so

fulfilled I was thinking my god I'm 24

maybe 25 at the time and I am so happy

because I have found my mission in life

I'm doing what I love it's making a

difference in people's lives it's

extraordinary so he finished about

midnight on the Sunday night and around

midnight you know I'm still wound up so

I don't feel like going to bed so I

decided okay you know let me take a walk

here and I would go through Copley

Square if you've been through Copley

Square you know it's a pretty neat place

because in Copley Square you can look up

and you see buildings that were here

before we were known as the United

States and besides I'm use these

skyscrapers that are new though it's a

pretty cool place so I'm walking around

midnight on Sunday night there's nobody

in Copley Square midnight and Sunday

night I'm walking along and I see this

guy in the distance he's kind of

stumbling back and forth between the

gutter and the sidewalk the long trench

coming on his head's down like this he's

holding the brown bag and I can start to

smell him even before I get there and

I'm thinking you know this guy's

obviously drunk and if I get closer I

thought I bet he's going to beg me for

some money

and sure enough whatever you focus on

life tends to happen doesn't it so sure

enough he gets real close to me and I

thought almost any wasn't gonna do it

all so he popped his head it was really

good

mister if his views bizarre-looking

anymore mister could you loan me quarter

I thought do I want to reward this

behavior and I thought I don't want him

to suffer do you have this dilemma

sometimes like you know I'm not here to

judge so years ago I finally decided I

was just give even the person's calling

a scam that's for them to deal with

because I have the ability than I get

and so I thought what could I teach him

something so I asked him a question back

I said is that all you want is a quarter

see oh yeah just one quarter one quarter

change my whole life

that's a really secure deletion my

pocket and I thought my money Club and

those days are you know very young just

starting to succeed and my original

mentor was a man named Jim Rohn I don't

know they've heard of Jim really yeah

it's a great guy and Jim told me said

Tony look you've come from poor

background you got a poor psychology you

got to change it he said you know any

money to pretend you do he said start

training your brain conditioning is it

gonna save all you want to get 300 other

bills and put them in the outside of

your money cliff even though you only

have five bucks in between them so every

time you pull out you'll see that you'll

feel inspired you'll feel better he said

you'll feel better you'll do better so I

was like okay so I did so I put my money

clip and sure enough I got trailer bills

then I made sure he saw the bills so I'm

tearing through that right look in

between there see if I can find some

change but I made sure he saw sure

enough he's looking at five hundred all

bills checking it out I find a quarter I

pull it out take him money put in my

pocket I noticed he's watching my hand

going in the pocket I clicked the cord

and I looked at and I said sir

life won't pay any price you ask of it I

gave me a quarter then something really

interesting happened he took the quarter

he looked at the quarter he looked at me

he looked at my pocket look back at the

quarter looked at me looked in my pocket

look at me again look to the core looked

in my pocket looked back at me and said

you're weird

and when he shuffled on off like this

right and I thought to myself wow what's

the difference teen hitting me I mean I

was 24 25 the time doing what I love

most have my mission in life and he's in

his early 60s drunk on the street

begging for quarters what's the

difference I thought well maybe God's

bless me because I'm such a good person

and he's such a bad person in such Bowl

and I thought wow maybe the answer to

that question is what I just told him

life will pay whatever price you ask of

it you know what's interesting he got to

ask intelligently and the Bible says ask

and you shall what pretty good formula

got to look into it but you know what

this is asking you shall receive but I'm

sure it meant ask intelligently I'm sure

that's what God meant I'm sure you

didn't mean bitch and you will receive

wine and you will receive I don't think

that was the instruction now if you can

ask intelligently there might be five

elements of that number one you'd have

to ask specifically wouldn't you

wouldn't ask in a general way people do

the last time I want more money fine

here's a dollar get out of here

very often you're getting what you're

asking for you just not aware of how

general you're asking clarity is power

the more clear you are about exactly

what it is you want the more your brain

knows how to get there

your brain is a servomechanism it's like

a bomb those bombs those missiles they

have a servomechanism so if the target

moves it knows what the target is it

follows it your brain when you condition

it knows exactly what to go for it'll

find a way to get there keep it buying a

certain outfit or a certain car and

suddenly see that car outside everywhere

let me grab that experience say I how

come that car outfits everywhere it

always was everywhere but now you notice

it the reason because there's a part of

your brain called the reticular

activating system the RAS that party of

brain determines what you notice and

what you don't notice your brain sends

most of its time trying to make sure you

don't notice because you'll go crazy if

you knows everything but when you decide

what's most important to you

your brain goes after it

everyone I know successful have builds

what I call an RPM plan and RPM is built

on the metaphor that the way to get from

where you are to where do you want to go

to the fastest is you've got to build

power like in a car rpms and the R

stands for they know the result they're

after they know what they want precisely

if you don't know exactly what you want

or you let yourself get beyond that into

something general you're not going to

achieve it

clarity is power you've got another

specific result you have to what do you

want

you can't answer that question right now

in your personal life in your body and

your relationships and your finances and

your spirituality and you're not going

to be as fulfilled as you want to be

today we're gonna have you answer one of

those questions at least the second part

of that you got to know P why you're

doing it because you know what give me

get a big goal because I want to make a

billion dollars I want to bring peace to

the earth why because since you come

over the goal all the obstacles show up

unless you're good enough emotional

drive to break through that you're never

going to discover what it really takes

so you got to get yourself pressed out

I'm going to get Tacitus have enough

reasons reasons come first answers come

second this man does not know what he

wanted you're not a bit of reason to ask

intelligently got asked specifically to

ask intelligence you gotta know why you

want to have enough Drive to make it

happen enough juice to make it happen if

you don't have enough reasons you will

not make it happen and the M is what is

your massive action plan what is gonna

get you to actually fall through because

the first plans not going to work and

the second one's going to work so you

didn't have enough plans at the first

two don't work you still got something

else otherwise you're going to be having

excuses where I didn't work so asking

intelligently requires that so if we're

going to be extraordinary in our results

we've got them in an extraordinary state

we're going to know what we want we got

to go use it

you

Mosquito season brings new dangers this year - Duration: 1:32.

ERIC: NEW THIS MORNING, MOSQUITO

SEASON IS HERE.

METRO CITIES HAVE STARTED

SPRAYING, AND OFFICIALS SAY

THERE ARE NEW DANGERS TO WATCH

OUT FOR THIS YEAR.

KCCI'S TOMMIE CLARK IS LIVE AT

RACCOON RIVER PARK IN WEST DES

MOINES.

IT IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUT THERE.

TOMMIE: IT IS BEAUTIFUL THIS

MORNING AT RACCOON RIVER PARK.

THE RESEARCHER SA THAT

SOMETHING PEOPLE SHOULD KEEP ON

THEIR RADAR IS THE WEST NILE

VIRUS.

HE ALS MENTIONED THE ZIKA

VIRUS.

THE MOSQUITOES IN IOWA DO NOT

CARRY THE VIRUS YET.

>> IF THIS PATTERN CONTINUES

OVER A LONG ENOUGH TIME, IT CAN

BRING EVASIVE MOSQUITOS FROM

DOWN SOUTH INTO IOWA AND THAT'S

REALLY SOME OF THE CONCERN F

THESE MOSQUITOS THAT CAN CARRY

ZIKA.

TOMMIE: HE SAYS THAT THERE'S

THOUSANDS OF TYPES OF MOSQUITOS,

BUT THE ONES THAT CAN CARRY ZIKA

HAVE BEEN FOUND IN NEARBY STATES

LIKE MISSOURI AND ILLINOIS.

DR. SMITH SAYS THAT IT'S JUST A

MATTER OF TIME TILL THOSE

MOSQUITOS MAKE THEIR WAY INTO

IOWA, SO RESEARCHERS ARE

ACTIVELY LOOKING INTO THE

THREAT.

HE SAYS THERE'S NOTHING WE C

REALLY DO TO PREVENT IT AND THAT

IT'S SIMPLY A MATTER OF WHEN.

HE SAYS IT'S DEFINITELY

SOMETHING TO BE CONCERNED WITH.

THAT'S WHY HE SAYS IT'S SO

IMPORTANT TO PREVENT MOSQUITO

BITES BY WEARING LONG SLEEVES

AND USING REPELLENT WITH DEET IN

IT.

HE SAID THE DISEASES ARE

SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF.

SO THIS COULD IMPACT THE DRIVE.

I DON'T THINK IT WILL HAVE ANY

IT WILL AFFECT THE ROYALS GAME

Tin Tặc Bắc Hàn Tấn Công Trung Quốc? | Trung Quốc Không Kiểm Duyệt - Duration: 7:04.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

turns out, nuclear weapons might not be

North Korea's most dangerous weapon.

Actually, they probably are,

but this is also concerning.

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

So you know how everyone's been freaking out

that North Korea might develop

and launch a nuclear weapon?

Well, it turns out

you don't need to worry about that.

You need to worry that about North Korea launching a nuke

and

possibly launching global cyber attacks.

Since you're currently on the internet,

you've probably heard of the massive cyber attack

that began on May 11.

The magnitude of the attack here is tremendous.

We're talking 200,000 computers

across 150 different countries

so this is really the biggest cyber shakedown in history.

The attack is called WannaCry,

which is how I feel every time

I look at the news these days.

Around the world,

university, business, and local government computers

were greeted with this:

Oops!

Your files have been encrypted!

Sorry, it was an honest mistake

the hackers made.

They'll gladly fix it for you,

if you just pay them $300 in bitcoins.

However if you don't,

three days later,

the price gets doubled to $600,

and after seven days,

the files are deleted.

It's a type of attack called ransomware.

Like software, but with ransom.

I'm sure you understand.

Who's to blame for this outrage?

Well, it might be North Korea.

Cybersecurity firm Symantec and Kaspersky Lab

have identified code in a version of the WannaCry virus

that is linked to the Lazarus Group.

That's the same group that was behind the Sony Pictures hack in 2014.

They're also known for stealing 81 million dollars

from Bangladesh's central bank.

And they work for North Korea.

That isn't enough to say this attack was definitely done by North Korea.

For example,

some experts say this ransomware attack

isn't how North Korean hackers usually operate.

Or that it's possible that other hackers

just borrowed the code from Lazarus.

Which makes the dark web

sound kind of like friendly neighborhood

where your next-door hacker can ring your computer

and ask to borrow a cup of code.

The point is,

we don't know for certain that North Korea is behind WannaCry.

But one good thing that's come out of this

is now people are paying way more attention

to the danger of North Korean cyber attacks,

thanks to the sudden media focus.

Unless you're talking about the focus of Chinese state-run media.

Which are blaming another country for the cyber attacks.

Guess which one?

China Daily says,

"the US National Security Agency

must shoulder some of the blame."

Oh great,

it involves the NSA.

That's so embarrassing.

My favorite state-run media,

the Global Times, said,

"Many criticized the U.S. government,

saying that it was responsible

for this spread of ransomware.

Obviously this accusation is reasonable."

Obviously.

Just as reasonable as the People's Daily

comparing it to the hacking scene in Die Hard 4.

Yes, they did.

How, you ask,

is the NSA responsible

for this cyber attack?

Apparently, the NSA has been exploiting

a flaw in Microsoft Windows for years,

with a hacking tool known as EternalBlue,

which is also how I feel every time

I look at the news.

Apparently, a hacking group called The Shadow Brokers

got their hands on it

and made it public last month.

And that's how the alleged North Korean hackers

were able to pull this off.

Allegedly.

So, the NSA messed up.

But that's not the whole story.

Let's back up for a moment

and talk about North Korean hackers.

The reason that hackers like the Lazarus Group

are able to pull off massive cyber attacks

is thanks to decades of training,

Internet access,

and office space

that was given to North Korea by—

you guessed it—

China.

Oops.

Yes, according to North Korean defectors,

China is largely responsible

for the growth of North Korea's cyber espionage abilities.

And they learned well.

According to the Korea Institute of Liberal Democracy in Seoul,

"Today, an elite squad of 6,800 North Korean state hackers

are engaged in fraud, blackmail and online gambling

that together generate annual revenue of $860 million."

It's the only way the poor, starving leaders of North Korea

can fund themselves

with those mean old sanctions the UN put on them.

That, plus gunrunning,

jewel smuggling, illegal gambling,

counterfeiting, and drug deal out of its embassies worldwide.

And again, North Korea's hacking skills

are thanks largely to decades of support

from the Chinese Communist Party.

So it's ironic that the country

hardest hit by WannaCry—

which, even if not done by North Korea,

definitely used North Korean code—

was China!

I bet he does wanna cry.

The Global Times says

"about 40,000 [Chinese] institutions

have been affected;

of those, 4,000 were academic,

including Tsinghua University

and Peking University."

So if the Chinese regime

gave so much support and training

to North Korean hackers in the past,

why would North Korea want to cyber attack

the hand that feeds it?

Isn't that sort of evidence it might not be North Korea behind the attack?

Well, not necessarily.

Relations between China and North Korea

are increasingly bitter.

Former Chinese leader and Super Ghouls and Ghosts wannabe, Jiang Zemin

was awkwardly close

with Kim Jong-Un's daddy,

but current leaders Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-Un

are not even friends.

They haven't even had a state visit/slumber party

And now Xi Jinping is apparently working with President Trump,

so I wouldn't be too surprised if Kim is a bit jealous.

But there could be other explanations, too:

It could have been a cyber attack

that unexpectedly hit computers in China

in a way that North Korea hackers didn't intend.

Or it could possibly not have been North Korea at all.

Either way,

it probably wasn't a good long-term strategy for China

to be training North Korean hackers.

What do you think about North Korea's new weapon,

and the attack on China?

Thanks for watching this episode of China Uncensored.

Once again I'm your host, Chris Chappell,

see you next time.
