Youtube daily Jul 11 2017

- You're a dumpster diver?

Yeah, I was...

Anyway, look, um,

I definitely did not apply for your grant...

- Ah-ah! Me first. - Okay.

Quick question of the rhetorical variety.

That's you, right?

Um, no.

- What do you mean? - Yeah.

Look at you go.

Wow! Nice catch. 3,000 pounds, 40 miles an hour.

That's not easy. You got mad skills.

That's all on YouTube, though, right?

That's where you found that?

Because you know that's all fake.

It's all done on the computer.

Mmm-hmm.

It's like that video. What is it?

Yeah. Oh, you mean like those UFOs over Phoenix?

Exactly.

Oh, what have we here?

Uh...

You're the Spider-ling.

Crime-fighting spider. You're Spider-Boy?

Spider-Man.

Not in that onesie, you're not.

It's not a onesie.

I don't believe this. I was actually having

a really good day today, Mr Stark.

Didn't miss my train, this perfectly good DVD player was just sitting there...

and Algebra test, nailed it.

Who else knows? Anybody?

Nobody.

Not even your unusually attractive aunt?

No. No.

No! If she knew, she would freak out.

And when she freaks out, I freak out.

You know what I think is really cool? This webbing.

That tensile strength is off the charts.

Who manufactured that?

I did.

Climbing walls, how you doing that?

Adhesive gloves?

It's a long story. I was...

Lordy! Can you even see in these?

Yes, I can.

I'm blind!

I can see in those.

Okay?

It's just that when whatever happened, happened...

it's like my senses have been dialled to 11.

There's way too much input, so they just kinda help me focus.

You're in dire need of an upgrade.

Systemic, top to bottom, hundred-point restoration.

That's why I'm here.

Why you doing this?

I gotta know, what's your MO?

What gets you outta that twin bed in the morning?

Because...

Because I've been me my whole life,

and I've had these powers for six months.

Mmm-hmm.

I read books, I build computers.

Yeah, I would love to play football,

but I couldn't then, so I shouldn't now.

Sure, because you're different.

Exactly. But I can't tell anybody that, so I'm not.

When you can do the things that I can, but you don't...

and then the bad things happen...

they happen because of you.

So you wanna look out for the little guy, you wanna do your part?

Make the world a better place, all that, right?

Yeah, just looking out for the little guy.

That's what it is.

I'm gonna sit here, so you move the leg.

You got a passport?

No, I don't even have a driver's license.

- You ever been to Germany? - No.

Oh, you'll love it.

- I can't go to Germany. - Why?

I got homework.

I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that.

No, I'm being serious. I can't just drop out of school.

Might be a little dangerous.

Better tell Aunt Hottie I'm taking you on a field trip.

Don't tell Aunt May.

All right, Spider-Man.

Get me out of this.

Sorry. I'll get the...(CoolestClips4K)

How to Draw an Eye, the Easiest Way - Narrated (Front View) - Duration: 5:04.

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will draw an eye.

As my paper pad is in a horizontal position, and the size is small

I recommend the overhand and the brush grips.

If you want to know more about this, please check my recent

video, on how to hold the pencil like a Master.

All right!

Let´s begin simplifying the eye to the max.

We will just make three lines for the upper part,

and this is the first one, practically at a 45 degree angle.

The next one, slightly titled to the other direction, and the

last one, also practically at 45 degrees.

This one is shorter actually.

And the lower part of the eye we simplify it to two lines.

One is slightly tilted, like this.

And the other one that goes up.

This is a really simple way that helps you as a guideline

to then draw the eye in this way.

You almost just have to round the shapes [laughter].

In the corner of the left goes the lacrymal and

the eye is slightly tilted.

Of course for the other eye you would invert this.

I´m using a charcoal pencil and I will write the exact model

in the description under the video…

… however you can use almost anything for this drawing.

We sketch the iris.

This of course is round, and you can normally see

the lower part complete, while the upper one is partially

blocked by the upper lid.

We mark a reflection which will stay white, and draw the pupil.

And these pupils usually look better if they are slightly large

here it turns this way and of course the eyelids have

a width, and we need to draw that.

The width of both lids, the lower one and the upper one.

And we should mark were the lids begin.

Up and down.

All right!

¡Excelente!

We are ready to start shading.

I begin with the pupil, which is the darkest spot, leaving the reflection,

and we do the shadow, projected by the lid on the upper part of the eye.

And as the eye has the shape of a sphere, even the white part

should have shading.

So we see the volume.

We shade the iris, with the upper part darker, because it receives a shadow

and as you saw it, I did it with concentric lines. With lines that

go toward the center.

And we delineate the lid, a little better.

And we shade it.

Very good!

I´m considering that the light source comes from the top

and slightly to the right.

That is why the shade of the eyelid is darker on the left.

Good! and we draw the brow, don´t try to draw every hair

it is more like a shade, made with lines.

If you can hear some cricket-like noises in the background,

it is because I am in the woods.

And I smudge passing lightly a chamois.

This is optional, it doesn´t need to be done, but it does smooth

it out.

You may also apply this technique if you are using graphite.

After smudging we have to reestablish the shading

and the detail.

We do the iris again, with concentric lines … and

we darken the border.

We also reestablish the eyebrow and smudge more in detail

with the blender.

And with the kneaded eraser, we pull lights.

Especially the reflections.

And we draw the lashes.

I think that they look better if they are slightly blurred.

And generally they fall in groups and they often cross.

They aren´t uniform.

We should make the shadow that falls just about the eye,

and below the brow.

We reinforce the shading of the upper part of the white

of the eye, which by the way it is called sclera and we

delineate the iris.

As you saw I did the reflection of the lashes on the upper part

of this, of the iris.

And we smudge it to make it a little bit softer, and more

crystal-like.

And we also smudge some other lines and shadows, also to smooth them out.

We pull some last reflections

we give it the last touches…

And it´s ready!

If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends

and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips.

And I will see you, on Tuesday ;)

Splatoon 2 - Single Player Hands-On PREVIEW (Nintendo Switch) - Duration: 4:07.

After the recent Nintendo Direct focused on Splatoon 2, I couldn't wait to play it.

It just looked so fun, and I needed to try it out for myself.

Fortunately, I didn't have to wait long as Nintendo supplied us with a review code

at the beginning of the weekend.

And since then, I've been playing it as much as I can which really still isn't enough.

That's because the servers won't go online for a few more days so even though I can explore

Inkopolis Square, there's not much I can do in it.

But that does leave the new single player campaign available, and I wanted to offer

my early thoughts on it before I dove into the online multiplayer.

Now I'm not going to be getting into spoilers and I can't talk about anything beyond the

third boss, but right off the bat, Splatoon 2 just controls beautifully.

I may have had trouble adjusting to using the Pro Controller during the Testfire, but

I took to the controls immediately this time around.

It's as simple as ever to target what you want and splat away.

And if you're familiar at all with the original Splatoon's campaign, you'll be immediately

at home here.

Each world contains a number of invisible kettles that must be inked to be unlocked

as levels so you can then rescue the captured Zapfish.

But there are few new tricks to the process.

The worlds, while not huge, contain a bit more that's worth exploring.

There are balloons to pop in order to get a few extra Power Eggs and each world has

its own Sunken Scroll and Sardinium to find, just like every level.

The Sunken Scrolls offer up a bit of lore to help flesh out the world of the Inklings,

but they're more concerned with covering what happened in the two years since the original

than providing new details of the past.

The Sardinium is a new step required to power up your weapons.

Not only do you need the right amount of Power Eggs but this collectible as well.

Working in tandem, they can be used to increase your Ink tank, unlock more sub weapons, or

make them more powerful as we said.

And the range of weapons available in the single player is much greater.

Eventually Sheldon from Ammo Knights will appear and ask you to use a particular weapon

and the stages are designed in such a way to help you better learn that weapon.

Ostensibly, the campaign is meant to prepare players for the online and I felt like it

does a much better job of that in Splatoon 2.

They can be replayed and cleared with every weapon in the game, but I like that they force

you to try out these weapons.

I did feel like I got a little better with the Splat Charger when usually I'm awful

with it.

Whether this newfound confidence actually transfers to the multiplayer is left to be

seen, but I like that each weapon type gets the spotlight for at least a little bit.

The levels themselves are linear but well-crafted, always introducing a new element or enemy

to change things up before mixing and matching to increase the challenge.

The new grind rails, bouncy mats, and boost pads all feel like natural extensions of the

gameplay and made certain stages that much more exciting.

And of course, the bosses are as great as ever, really showing the creativity of Splatoon

2.

I was always hyped to take on a new one, but I don't want to give too much about them

away before the review.

But rest easy, they definitely have some standouts.

Really, the only part that feels like a noteworthy downgrade is the music.

At least what I heard in the single player.

The new tunes feel lower key this time around, losing the bombacity of the original.

They're not all bad and are certainly fine songs on their own, but something about them

felt lesser.

There's still a lot for me to see in Splatoon 2 though.

I may have finished the campaign, but the real star of the show is still waiting.

Still, based on these first impressions, fans of Splatoon and newcomers alike have little

to worry about when it comes to Splatoon 2.

I just can't wait to try the multiplayer and see how it compares.

But you can find out our full thoughts when our review of Splatoon 2 goes live on July

18th.

First Time in Beijing: 7 Things I Wish I Knew 第一次去北京:7件我早該注意的事 - Duration: 4:35.

so this is the last day I'm here in Beijing China and during the five days

I've concluded a few of the things that I didn't expect before visiting Beijing

and here's a shocking fact for you nobody wears masks on the streets or in the city

I was told before I come to Beijing that the air pollution here it's serious

so it's advised that you bring one of those huge medical mask

just in case you have allergic reaction but let me tell you

you'd look really stupid wearing one of those crazy huge masks around

but if I did bring a mask, it wouldn't be about the air pollution

I'd be trying to block out the cigarette smell because it seems to be perfectly normal and fine

for people to smoke in public spaces and even inside restaurant and I mean inside restaurant

not a patio not a terrace but inside the restaurant

and I guess that's one reason why they enjoy eating outdoors so much

and I mean outdoor as in they could put up a tiny table a portable table couple of stools

and that's their dining area right off the street and during my five days here in Beijing

I was approached three times by random strangers

it seems to be really easy to strike up a conversation

what do you think about here? you mean here in Mainland?

yea, what's your thought? I mean.. good, larger space bigger roads

yes but littering problem still exist yes that's true

Taiwan has a much cleaner environment yes I was there two years ago

did you like Taiwan while you were there?

well the rules are much stricter now you have this female president

yes that's true

here is the metro

despite the crazy packed subway system here

there is something that all the countries could learn a little bit from Beijing metro system

because you need to go through a security check before entering the station

that's what I thought was really really cool

this one really blew my mind away

because I didn't expect QR code to be so popular in Beijing or China in general

because it seems to be wherever you go you use your phone to scan the QR code

and that's how you pay for your drink for your daily groceries, for your toilet paper, for your dishwasher

that's really really amazing

this one might be exclusively me being a Taiwanese person

because it's the first time that I get the sense of freedom of speech being taken away from me

what do I mean by that?

so when I was talking to this street vendor I think I was asking about the sausage difference

the difference of sausage between Taiwan and China

my friend who's lived here nudged me and whispered you should refer "Taiwan and Mainland"

instead of "Taiwan and China" I don't know if I'm just overly sensitive person

but when I was writing the postcards it popped into my mind that

if I write anything remotely negative about my experience here in Beijing

for example, the food or the traffic would the postcard not arrived and its destination?

would my postcards be kept and never sent out?
