Couple Split the House First up we have a couple who decided that
their marriage was definitely over.
The couple from Phnom Penh in Cambodia had been married for eighteen years but the husband,
Moeun, had thought that his wife was cheating on him for a number of those years.
He suspected that she was seeing the local policeman behind his back.
There was no argument at first, he asked his wife if it was true, they quite reasonably
decided to separate and then it came to splitting up their possessions.
This is where it gets just a bit crazy.
Not being able to agree on how the house should be divided, Moeun thought that the best way
forward would be to cut the entire house down the middle - literally.
His family joined in to help and together they sawed the house in half.
We are assuming that Moeun must have been drowning his sorrows prior to the decision
to chop the house up, and that his family had been drinking with him to show solidarity
at this difficult time.
However the decision came about, they followed through with it, and once the house was in
two halves, Moeun's family carried his, obviously useless, half to his parent's house.
Just imagine what would have happened had Moeun and his wife had had children!

In the Doghouse After being married for 50 years, Eliza, a
70 year old Romanian woman finally decided that it was time that her and her husband
separate.
She said that her husband had been spending all their money on feeding the stray dogs
around their neighborhood.
Whatever pension had been coming in for the couple, the husband was spending on buying
food for the dogs he so dearly cared for.
Now don't get us wrong, He's got a good heart for doing something like that, However
he does need to prioritize family over anything else.
Now what he did not realize was that he was leaving their house empty and without any
meals.
Originally Eliza thought this act of kindness was touching, However after continuing this
for so long, It led to their relationship ending.
The husband was feeding over 20 stray dogs which meant food from the house was being
taken out.
Unable to deal with the loss, she decided to file for divorce.

Not Allowed to See Her Face This break up was all because a man attempted
to have a look at his wife's face.
The Saudi couple had been married for thirty years when the husband's curiosity got the
better of him.
They had married when his wife was just twenty years old, and at fifty he still hadn't seen
what she looked like.
She had been born in a village nearby the city of Khamis Mushayt, where women adhered
to the tradition of keeping their faces covered all of the time, even whilst sleeping.
One night, whilst his wife was sleeping, the husband lifted up his wife's veil to try and
get a glimpse of her face.
Unfortunately his wife caught him in the act, waking up whilst he was lifting her veil and
getting very, very angry.
She told him that she wanted to divorce him for his betrayal and despite him apologising
profusely and promising never to touch her veil again, she was having none of it.
It might seem to be an odd custom to Western women but in Saudi it is very common for women
to remain completely covered from their husbands.

Next up we have a cheating husband who was caught out by the pet mynah bird.
It all happened in China in 2001 when a wife began to notice that their pet was repeating
parts of phone conversations had by her husband and his mistress.
She had been away visiting her parents for the past month and realised that the bird
must have been listening in on the extramarital activities her husband had enjoyed in her
absence.
The mynah bird was saying things like 'be patient', 'I love you' and even came out with
the word 'divorce.
The wife went straight to a lawyer, taking the bird with her as evidence.
She told the lawyer that she wanted the bird to testify against her husband in court but
was advised that that a court would not allow an animal to testify.
She divorced her husband anyway, without the bird's help.

All In So i think it's safe to say that we all
know gambling can go way too far.
People with a gambling problem more often than not lose everything they own ranging
from their life's savings to losing their cars and even their own homes depending on
the situation, However this bet took the game to a whole other level.
A Russian man by the name of Andrei Karpov, lost his entire savings in a game against
his opponent, Sergey Brodov.
He really wanted to play more but had no more money to, so he did the unthinkable and decided
to put his wife up as a bet.
Now just take a wild guess as to what happened next?
Of course Karpov lost the hand and with it, his wife.
When Sergey showed up at Karpov's home to take what he had won, his wife as you'd
expect was absolutely furious.
She then divorced Karpov and began a relationship with Sergey.
They twere later married.
Talk about not folding when you had the chance.

101 Ways to use a Dresses Kevin Cotter, from Tucson Arizona, had been
married for twelve years when his wife decided that she was leaving him.
He was completely devastated.
She took everything she owned except for the dress she got married in.
Kevin contacted his now ex wife to ask her to take the wedding dress away but she refused
telling him that he could do whatever he wanted with the dress.
Kevin didn't do anything with the dress at first, but then he had an idea.
He started off by creating his own webpage which he titled My Ex-Wife's Wedding Dress.
He then tried to come up with novel things which he could do with the dress, keeping
a record of them on his website.
His aim was to use the dress in one hundred and one ways.
Kevin's wife was none too impressed when she found out but he didn't back down and refused
to stop his online log.
In fact, he's become something of an internet sensation with hundreds of thousands of followers.
He has been on TV and has even written a book about his wife's now famous wedding dress.

Crazy Judge Ruling Now this one is quite crazy to say the least.
While filing for divorce, citing physical and mental abuse, the aspiring-to-be-ex Mrs.
Chana Taub hit a roadblock when the judge dismissed the whole case, based on what appears
to be the fact that the couple pretty much living in an old 80s sitcom where a couple
would end up drawing a line down the middle of their house and splitting up all the objects
amongst themselves.
Only in this case instead of a line, it was a wall built down the center of the three-story
home.
And we don't mean some kind of temporary thing to teach them a lesson, but an actual wall
of plywood and sheetrock through the middle of their Brooklyn residence.
It certainly seems more practical than the previous one where the whole house was just
cut in half but i digress.
What's more, it wasn't even their idea.
An earlier judge had ordered the wall built.
The reason for the wall being ordered was for the simple reason that neither husband
or wife wanted to move out.
What's ironic about this situation is that the husband was given the dining room portion
of the house while the wife was given the kitchen portion, so it's almost as if the
judge was trying to set up some sort of reconciliation dinner……...Nope, it just cause more bickering
between the two.
