Youtube daily Jul 9 2017

I live on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada.

In the early '90s, a kid was abducted from a park in my neighbourhood, and it quickly

became a very high-profile case, and it still is today.

I was around 3 years old when this happened, and my dad would have been 25-ish, only a

few years into his career as a police officer.

The missing kid part will come into play later, but it's important to know this was going

on when the events of this story happened.

My dad and his partner were on patrol one night, and they had a camera guy with them

who was on a ride-along to film some shitty Canadian version of "COPS" or something.

I don't think this ever actually aired, for reasons that will become obvious.

It was unusual to allow someone along with a camera, and nowadays this would probably

never happen.

It was an otherwise quiet night, and as they were driving around my dad spots this work

van that belonged to a guy named Peter Hogben.

My dad had pulled Hogben over before several times, the most recent being a few days prior

because Hogben's insurance was expired.

At that time, Hogben had a dead chicken hanging from his rearview mirror, which was weird

and very creepy, but not illegal.

My dad let him off with a warning, and told Hogben to get insurance or the next time he

saw him, the van would be getting towed.

So, my dad and his partner see this van and my dad gets dispatch to run it, and it comes

back still without insurance, so they throw on the lights and pull Hogben over.

Meanwhile, the camera man is still filming all of this.

They get out of the car, and Hogben is PISSED.

He's yelling, eyes bugging out of his head, getting in my dad and his partner's space,

probably veins bulging out of his neck, all of that.

My dad explains that since he has no insurance, they were towing his vehicle.

My dad said he remembers thinking Hogben was going to attack them, so they both had their

hands on their holsters in case they needed to draw.

Police shootings here are extremely rare, and in the '90's even more so, so the fact

that they even felt it necessary to be ready to draw their sidearms shows how intense the

situation was.

While Hogben didn't end up attacking either my dad, his partner, or the camera man, he

did end up going full Hulk on the dash of his van, basically ripping it apart with his

bare hands and losing his entire mind.

These days, he'd probably be taken into custody based on that, but again this was the early

'90s, so while crazy and scary, not illegal.

He shitkicked his own car for a bit, tore out parts of the dashboard, and then preternaturally

just calmed the fuck down, and then asked if he could get his tools from the back of

his van as he was a construction worker and needed them for his job the next day.

My dad and his partner said he could, so he grabbed an axe, and his tool belt, which included

a hammer and some other stuff, and off he walked into the night.

As he walked away, my dad's partner said: "Jesus, he looks mad enough to kill someone."

The entire incident was caught on camera by their ride-along camera guy.

They towed Hogben's van, and their night went on as usual, which is to say nobody lost their

shit and destroyed the dash of their own vehicles.

The next night was their second night shift.

They went to briefing, which is like a meeting before you begin your shift so that you know

if you need to look out for anything specifically, or if you need to do curfew checks on people

who are under conditions after being released from jail and that kind of thing.

When they get there, they hear the news that a woman was beaten to death the night prior

and found in the early morning, and that if they have anyone they suspect or any files

they think are related, they should let their Sergeant know so he can pass it onto detectives.

My dad said he and his partner just looked at each other and raised their hands to say

"I think we know who did this."

Hogben was arrested very quickly after.

Turns out, he was in fact pissed enough to kill someone.

He initially followed another woman but she managed to get into her house without Hogben

actually doing anything to her aside from scaring the shit out of her by stalking her.

The woman he did kill was completely random.

He beat her to death with the blunt end of his axe, where her blood and DNA were found.

The evidence that convicted him was overwhelming.

Okay so.. here's the part where the missing kid comes into play.

The FBI's behavioural unit was here to assist on creating a profile on who may have abducted

the kid.

They caught wind of the Hogben file, and that the entire incident preceding the murder where

Hogben was pulled over was caught on tape.

They immediately demanded to see the tape, and when they did they explained that it is

extremely rare to capture the moment when a psychopath "snaps" and decides to kill someone

on video, and that they wanted to take the video back to Quantico for training purposes,

so they can show recruits what it looks like when someone makes that decision.

So, my dad and his partner are in a video used for training in the FBI.

My dad has said he thinks his former partner carries a lot of guilt for this case, because

of the remark he made about Hogben being angry enough to kill someone.

I'm of the opinion it wasn't anybody's fault, and since that happened people are able to

be arrested for that kind of behaviour.

They were also both still rookie cops, and within that situation they did everything

"right" in a by-the-book sense.

They did not have grounds to arrest Hogben then.

But I understand why he'd feel so fucked up about it.

In case you're wondering what happened with the missing kid, he's still missing.

The FBI Unit couldn't reach a full consensus on whether a family member or a stranger abducted

him.

The kid's name is Michael Dunahee, and if you're from Canada you've likely heard of

him.

He became the cautionary tale our parents told us about talking to strangers.

His absence permeated the childhood of my friends and I, to the point where we once

found some deer bones and were convinced we found Michael's remains.

My mom has been a police officer for two years and she was recently put on FTO for the patrol

division a few months ago.

For those of you that don't know what FTO is, it stands for Field Training Officer.

Essentially when a cop switches from one team to another, they are paired with an FTO who

teaches them all about how to do their job in the new division.

My mom moved from working in the jail to working on the patrol team.

Now what a lot of people don't realize is that patrol is an extremely dangerous division

to be a part of.

On patrol, a cop is out there by themselves with no idea of what they might face.

In my mom's case she had one other person with her, which is a little safer, but not

much.

On patrol a backup car could be miles away which puts the officer in an extremely dangerous

and vulnerable position should anything bad happen on the road.

What you should know is that the county I live in is known for being one of the safest,

most cop-friendly counties in the US.

You would think that that gave my mom and her FTO some kind of advantage over the bad

guys… you would think.

On September 2nd my mom and her FTO received a call that there was a suicidal man with

a gun who was holing up in his house.

They raced over to the scene and parked the car several yards from the house as was customary

of arriving on any scene.

This guy lived in a semi rural part of town where houses were spread a little apart.

This rural-ish neighborhood backs up to a middle and elementary school on one side,

there is also a hospital and a daycare just behind the schools, which will be important

later.

Anyway, my mom and her training officer exit the car and begin to approach the house to

contact this armed suicidal man.

The two stop dead in their tracks when they hear a gunshot being fired off, right at them.

My mom and her FTO scramble to get behind the doors of the patrol car and frantically

radio for back-up.

My mom's FTO quickly pulls out his rifle for better defense.

Several other cars rush to the scene just as the guy charges out of the house firing

shots off at random.

BANG!

One shot!

Seconds later several more are fired off in the direction of the officers.

They begin firing just as a strange sound grabs everyone's attention: a school bell.

Shit!

School just ended for about a thousand middle school students who would soon be gathering

in busses, cars, and worst yet, walking home.

The suspect heard the school bell too and quickly rushed into his RV, driving off in

the direction of the school.

All the while this asshole is firing off shots at the officers.

As officers chase off after him, attempting to cut him off, shoot out his tires, anything!,

a haunting call comes over the radio.

"Officer down!

Officer down!"

someone cries out.

Everyone at the call had no time to lose, they had to keep going and chase down the

perp.

They had to make sure he didn't get the chance to get to those middle school students.

People were frantic, asking questions and looking for answers which no one knew "Holy

shit!

Who's hit?

Are they alive?

Did anyone else get hit?"

Suddenly someone cried out that it was my mom who got hit.

Within minutes, I got dozens of texts asking if I knew what was going on, if I was okay,

and some just informing me that my mom was shot.

At the time I was at work with no knowledge that any of this was happening.

I stepped into the hall after receiving multiple text messages.

I fell to my knees.

My mom was shot.

She was dead or dying.

I could feel myself break.

This fucker killed my mom.

Moments later everyone got word that the threat had been eliminated.

One of the officers shot the guy through the window of his RV just as he entered the hospital

parking lot.

There was still no word of what was happening to my mom.

I was panicking.

She's dead.

I thought.

She's dead.

Suddenly, I felt my phone buzz once again.

I checked it with tears in my eyes.

It read.

"Hey I don't know what you heard, but I'm okay.

I wasn't the one that got shot."

My heart fell, but this time in relief.

What had happened was that one of my mom's former co-workers in the jail had been listening

in on the shooting situation and had heard that my mom was first on scene and then later

heard that someone was shot.

In his shock, he put two and two together and assumed that the one that was shot was

my mom.

However, a swat deputy who arrived with the impact team had attempted to eliminate the

threat and keep him away from the middle school students.

The suspect brutally shot the swat deputy point blank in the chest with an AK-47 round.

The deputy was rushed off to the hospital.

He was dead when they got him off the ground and into the ambulance.

Using electric shock therapy they brought him back to life.

Moments later, his heart stopped again.

At the hospital they shocked him again for several minutes before he came back to life.

After being rushed into emergency trauma surgery, his heart stopped again.

At this point the doctor literally held his heart in his hands and was squeezing his heart

by hand to get it to begin beating again.

After several surgeries, the deputy survived.

He lost a lot of blood, brain cells, and body control.

But he is alive to this day, thankfully.

I still can hardly believe that something this traumatic happened in my quiet, safe

town.

But I'm so glad they took that fucker out and I'm so glad all the officers are still

alive today.

Got a report of a missing husband.

He told his wife and family of 6 children that he was going to get his tires changed,

but never returned, and this was 12 hours ago.

They had purchased another house in a neighboring community, and the relationship with the wife

was under pressure, so the wife assumed he was staying at the other house.

The strange thing about this report though was that he emptied his personal bank account

into his wife's this morning as well.

The wife explained this off saying that they recently had a fight about finances, and he

agreed that he was bad with money and maybe they should just have a joint account that

she controls.

On a hunch, I asked his 14 year old boy if there were any areas in the mountains nearby

that his father enjoyed going, and the son identified a road about 10 miles away.

It was nearing midnight, but I decided to drive to the top of this old and abandoned

forest service road.

As I drove through the snow and started to climb the road, I felt a gut feeling that

I would 100% find this guy up there either thinking about suicide, or already committing

suicide.

The snow-laid gravel road had some sign of travel, but no real indication of how fresh

the vehicle tracks could be.

As I reached the top of the road after an hour of travel I was honestly surprised that

I did not find his black truck.

I spent the drive back down thinking about "gut-feelings" and how they are unreliable,

but that I somehow felt different about this one.

As I traveled up the road, I did notice over a dozen smaller roads branching off, but they

were not mapped, and I had already spent too much time on a single occurrence in a busy

city with too few police officers.

Nonetheless, I decided to check a single of these secondary roads, and about 3/4's of

the way down I picked a road at random to check, and sure enough my headlights lit up

the back end of a black truck about 100 yards past the first corner.

Even if I hadn't memorized the licence plate beforehand, I wouldn't have had to run it

- it was clearly his.

I radioed that I had found the truck, parked my vehicle, and traveled the 20 feet to his

truck with my heart beating like I was doing it at a sprint rather than a normal walk.

What I found inside was a mess of brains and blood caused by a self-inflicted shotgun wound

under the chin.

I'll save you from the description.

There was just something about that gut-feeling while traveling this abandoned and quiet mountain

road, followed by a sense of being tricked by the gut-feeling, then finding out it was

true by discovering such a gruesome scene, having to wait 3 hours next to his truck waiting

for body removal, and then to end it all by having to go to the family who was expecting

good news to deliver to them the worst news possible, that makes me feel creeped out to

this day.

Hey everyone, hope you enjoyed the video.

So, i'm sure many of you are confused as to where i've been, and rightfully so.

I don't think that the end of a video is a good place to even begin explaining, and many

people aren't here for that, so here's the plan

After the release of this video, i'm going to try to put 1 or 2 more videos out on time,

before doing a livestream where I will be transparently adressing a

lot of things, explaining where I was, and what's happening best I can.

That way I can focus on getting the ball rolling on videos again, and afterwards just sit,

be open and talk to you guys if i'm able.

So, like I said, that's the plan, and I didn't want to take too much time at the end of this

video.

To make sure you don't miss the livestream if you're interested,

please press the bell icon near the subscribe button so that you're notified.

That will also notify you instanly every time I upload.

If you don't want to do that, I usually notify everyone via Twitter and Snapchat a day or

two before I do livestreams.

If you can, I recomend you following me on social media.

That way if you're wondering where I am or something, you can just check Twitter and

be like "oh, hey, he's alive, that's pretty cool."

, or maybe you genuinely like me or something, but let's not get carried away.

We also joke around sometimes, as you can see by this picture.

Or on Snapchat you can hear me lose my mind or post incoherent ramblings to my story that

I usually regret in the morning . Pretty sure someone uploaded a video of

screaming to YouTube.

Ahh, yep, here it is.

"Corpse Husband Screaming on Snapchat" , wow, bless you guys

Anyways, thanks for watching, I appreciate everyone who's watching this for sticking

around and have an awesome day

Mountain Dew Flavored Popcorn | How to Make Candy Popcorn - Duration: 5:47.

hey everyone its James from fun food and today I'm going to show you how to make this mountain

Dew flavored candy popcorn now this was a suggested video from Krishna so thank

you so much for that suggestion I really appreciate that now if you'd like to see

me make this keep watching I'll show you step by step how to make this now the

first thing we want to do is start off by making a flavored syrup to do that

what I'm going to do is start off with a medium pan I'm going to add to that two

cups of sugar then a half a cup of light corn syrup next what I'm gonna to add is one cup

of Mountain Dew soda now just bring this over to the stove and stir it as it

comes to a boil okay you just want to stir this until all that sugar has

dissolved and that's right about this point you can just stop stirring and

when it reaches 230 degrees Fahrenheit just turn off your heat this should be

your nice syrup pull our candy thermometer out now take this over to our

workstation alright so now that we have made our syrup I'm just going to put it

in this container right here because I'm going to use this pot for something else

so I'll pour this in here

next what I've done was pop some popcorn you can just follow whatever directions

you have on your popcorn of how to pop it I just did this regular plain there's

no butter on there nothing so I'm just going to take this its freshly popped and

put it on a baking sheet and spread it out

now I've only decided to use about half the popcorn this is about four cups already

poppedI'm just going to take this put this in the oven at 200 degrees this is

just going to keep them nice and warm until we're ready to use them now what we're

going to do is make our candy coating this is going to cover the top of all of

our popcorn and to do that we're going to start with a medium pot we're going

to add two cups of sugar we're going to add two tablespoons of butter 1/2 a cup

of light corn syrup then we're going to add a half a cup of Mountain Dew soda

now just take this over to the stove and we're going to stir it up until it

starts to boil just going to turn our stove on medium high heat and once it

comes to a rapid boil stop stirring and let it boil for another three to five

minutes now after five minutes you just want to turn off your heat and next what

we're going to do is pour in our syrup that we made earlier this is our

Mountain Dew flavor so we're going to pour that in only use a quarter of a cup

of this mountain Dew flavor syrup mix it in really good and just for fun I'm

going to color this green you can skip the coloring if you'd like or you can

color another color when that's all done we'll move on to the next step now we're

going to do is take our popcorn out of the oven it's just been in the oven

warming up our staying warm I should say and I want to put about half of this

into a large bowl I found it easier to do half at a time because if you try to

do the whole recipe all at once it's hard to mix in the flavor so we'll do

about half

now of course you can salt this if you'd like or you can go unsalted

whichever way you like doesn't matter what we're going to do right here is

take our mixture and like I said I'm only going to do about half of this now

because only half of our popcorn is in this bowl so I'm gonna pour this out over top

of it and I'm just going to mix it up really good so just lay it out on your

baking sheet spread it out nice and thin

and when all your popcorn is in one nice even layer you can take this put this in

the oven at 250 degrees for about eight minutes all right so when it comes out

of the oven you just want to let it sit and let it rest and cool down for maybe

about a half-hour or so so after they cooled down for about a

half-hour or so you can just start breaking them apart there will be in

little clusters like that and or you can just eat them in like clusters and you

can fill a container that you're going to serve it in and serve now its time for the taste test

I'm going to dig into this and try it out and let you know what it taste like

it's good it is a bit chewy so be careful if you have braces um it might

stick in your teeth so I wouldn't recommend it if you have braces yeah

be careful and even if you don't have braces it is a bit chewy so understand that it has

good flavour thanks everyone for watching I hope you enjoyed watching me

make this mountain Dew flavored candy popcorn it was a lot of fun making this

thanks again Krishna for suggesting I make this and if you enjoyed this video

Dandelion Heats/Cools Your Home With Energy From Your Lawn | QPT - Duration: 4:24.

A new startup called Dandelion, born from the secretive and futuristic lab "X" of Google's

parent company Alphabet, says it will offer affordable geothermal heating and cooling

systems to homeowners.

And, Dandelion has raised a $2 million seed round to kick-off its sales and operations.

Geothermal systems are better for the environment because they significantly cut down on carbon

dioxide emissions.

In the U.S., buildings account for 39% of all carbon emissions, mostly from the combustion

of fossil fuels for heating and cooling.

In the Northeast, heating and cooling is particularly carbon-intensive due to the relatively high

use of fuel oil or propane as a heating fuel.

This also leads to unpredictable costs for homeowners; if fuel prices rise during a particularly

long and cold winter, their wallets take a hit.

Home geothermal systems can offer lower and steadier monthly energy costs because they

use the energy in the ground under your yard.

The ground stays at about 50 degrees Fahrenheit year round.

In the wintertime, water circulating through U-shaped plastic pipes installed in your yard

absorbs heat from the earth, and then a geothermal heat pump inside of your home turns it into

warm air.

In the summertime, the pump draws the warm air out of your home and the so-called "ground

loops" disperse the heat into the earth.

These systems are most useful in climates with cold winters and hot summers, because

there's a large variation in temperature between the ground and the air.

Unfortunately, they've typically required large up-front installation fees; this has

discouraged consumer adoption, even though people in these regions currently spend a

lot of money to heat and cool their homes.

That's why Dandelion decided to try to find a new approach that could make home geothermal

more affordable.

The process of installing ground loops in homeowners' yards has typically been messy

and intrusive, using wide drills that are designed to dig water wells at depths of over

1,000 feet.

These machines are unnecessarily large and slow for installing a system that needs only

a few 4" diameter holes at depths of a few hundred feet.

So Dandelion Team decided to try to design a better drill that could reduce the time,

mess and hassle of installing these pipes, which could in turn reduce the final cost

of a system to homeowners.

They began prototyping and testing all sorts of ideas, like modifying a jackhammer that

could bore itself into the ground; freezing the ground with liquid nitrogen and chipping

the soil away with a hammer; and even using a high pressure water jet to demolish the

ground at rocket speeds.

After months of testing, they hit upon a design for a fast, slender drill that hit their objectives.

It could drill just one or two deep holes just a few inches wide, and compared to typical

installation rigs, it produced less waste and took up much less space as it operated.

It left a typical suburban backyard relatively undisturbed, so they could minimize landscaping

costs for homeowners.

Just as importantly, it was fast; they could install all the ground loops in less than

a day, instead of the more typical 3 or 4 days.

As a result of all these improvements, Dandelion is ready to open for business.

The Dandelion system will cost homeowners much less than conventional systems, and they

are signing up customers now in the state of New York, where they are also looking to

partner with local heating and cooling installers.

And they have developed a financing program that will allow homeowners to install a Dandelion

system for no money down and save money from day one while locking in low, predictable

payments for heating and cooling.

Ant-Man Ending Scene / Stan Lee Cameo | Ant-Man (2015) | Movie Clip 4K - Duration: 1:43.

Here's the deal. Just give me the facts.

Just the facts. Only the facts.

Breathe. Focus. Keep it simple.

No, no, no. No doubt, no doubt. Okay.

So, I'm at this art museum with my cousin Ignacio, right?

And there was this, like, abstract expressionism exhibit.

But you know me, I'm more like a Neo-Cubist kind of guy, right?

But there was this one Rothko that was sublime, bro! Oh, my God!

- Luis. - Okay, sorry. Sorry.

You know, I just get excited and stuff.

But anyway, Ignacio tells me,

"Yo, I met this crazy-fine writer chick at the Spot last night. Like fine-fine.

"Like crazy-stupid fine." And he goes up to the bartender and goes,

"Look at the girl I'm with. You know what I'm sayin'?

"She's crazy-stupid fine, right?"

The bartender's all like, "Yeah, crazy-stupid fine."

So this writer chick tells Ignacio,

"Yo, I'm like a boss in the world of guerrilla journalism,

"and I got mad connects with the peeps behind the curtains,

"you know what I'm saying?"

Ignacio's like, "For real?"

And she's like, "Yeah, you know what, I can't tell you who my contact is,

"because he works with the Avengers."

Oh, no.

Yeah, and this dude sounds like a badass, man.

Like, he comes up to her and says,

"Yo, I'm looking for this dude who's new on the scene,

"who's flashing his fresh tack,

"who's got, like, bomb moves, right? Who you got?"

And she's like, "Well, we got everything nowadays. We got a guy who jumps.

"We got a guy who swings, we got a guy who crawls up the walls.

"You gotta be more specific."

And he's like, "I'm looking for a guy that shrinks."

And I'm, like, "Damn!" I got all nervous 'cause I'd keep mad secrets for you, bro.

So I asked Ignacio,

"Did the badass tell the stupid-fine writer chick

"to tell you to tell me, because I'm tight with Ant-Man,

"that he's looking for him?"

And? What'd he say?

He said, "Yes."

Dodie Clark was on my Flight to VidCon - Awkward Storytime | Kate's VidCon Adventures - Duration: 6:16.

Hi folks! If you've been watching my adventure vlogs in chronological order,

I've just done a hotel room tour of the hotel I've just checked into at Anaheim.

I've just filmed that and now I'm going to quickly tell this story before I finally get to bed

cause I've been up for over 24 hours but anyways I just wanted to quickly tell the story

because I find it quite funny now but earlier today it was absolutely mortifying.

I'm not sure this counts as an awkward celebrity encounter but it certainly

is an indicator of how my head goes into panic mode when I see people that I recognize.

So to begin the video, I'm going to quickly show you what I've been wearing today.

I've been wearing a YouTube t-shirt and... yeah I've just got some white cotton trousers with that

and I had my YouTube bag as part of my luggage today as well so I was walking

around the airport with like YouTube branding everywhere and I was hoping

that by doing that I'd maybe find other people on the plane who were going to VidCon as well.

So as I got up to go to the toilet just before the gates opened for my flight,

I almost collided with Dodie Clark who's quite a big YouTuber in the UK

and my head had kind of thought that maybe Dodie would be on the same flight as me

because Dodie has a show on tomorrow which is Tuesday.

You know, this is Monday right now, Tuesday and then VidCon starts on Wednesday.

So the kind of abstract thought came into my head that I might maybe be on the same flight as Dodie

but it was very much an abstract thought. It was kind of a

"Wouldn't it be weird if Dodie was on the same flight as me?"

Anyways I got up to go to the toilet and I almost collided with her

because we were both kind of heading towards the same area.

And she was heading towards the queue, I was kind of heading past the queue to go to the toilet.

And as I saw her and her manager Josh approaching,

my head just went "Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction".

And that just- you know, I have no idea why I thought like that

because it just seems like such an obscure thing to do.

You could just ignore somebody if you don't want to speak to them you could just pretend that

you know they don't really mean anything to you, you could just kind of keep sitting there.

but for some reason my head was just so embarrassed by the idea of Dodie seeing me

wearing a YouTube t-shirt and kind of fangirling, you know if-

Would it be fangirling if I went over and said something? I'm not really too sure.

So they got into the queue and I went off to the toilets after they'd went past

and I was like "Oh my God". So I sent a message to my friend Lilly

and I was like "Dodie's on the same flight as me and I'm wearing a YouTube t-shirt"

and Lilly's reaction was "I'm gonna tweet her!" So I was like fine whatever, tweet her

but don't include my Twitter handle, don't do any of that

cause this is awkward enough as it is without her-

you know, in the weird world where she somehow sees the tweet

It'd be so weird if she kind of like realized what I looked like and stuff. Anyways.

So Lilly was like "Just go up and say something to her, she's a normal person"

and like I said my head was in panic mode

over the idea of going over to Dodie and just saying "Hi, I watch your videos."

"I'll maybe see you at VidCon." For some reason my head just thought that was the most difficult thing ever.

So I was sat on a plane for 11 hours with Dodie... didn't say anything to her!

As it happens we weren't really sat anywhere near each other,

I think she was sat on the lower deck and I was sat on the upper deck of this plane, I don't really know.

But there we go, that's the story.

There was actually even a point where she was ahead of me in the line to board this plane

but for some reason the line that I'd picked to go in was moving a lot faster than the line that she was in.

So there was like kind of a moment where I could have said something to her,

but instead I took that moment to kind of read what was written on the back of her ukulele case

because she had some cute labels saying "Hey, this belongs to Dodie" and stuff like that.

So yeah, there's that story. I completely panicked when I saw another YouTuber so

I don't really know how VidCon is going to go if that's the way I'm going to react to everybody.

If anybody sees me huddled in a corner kind of rocking back and forth, it's probably not going well.

I also saw her kind of going through you know security and everything when we got to America

but they're very very strict about going over- you know, using phones and cameras and things in there

so even if I had been anywhere near her there's no way I could have gotten a photo

or taken the time to chat because it's quite a serious environment.

And then by the time I'd got through, by the time I was getting my luggage she'd disappeared

so I guess her luggage came through first. So yeah there's that.

I just thought I'd tell that little anecdote for anybody who finds it funny.

I was not finding this funny this afternoon but now I find it really funny that I just couldn't...I just couldn't.

So anyways there's that story, I hope you enjoyed it.

If you want to hear more stories about uncomfortable "celebrity" experiences,

they range from "celebrity" to just people I admire then there's a video over here you might enjoy

and then down here YouTube have decided to pick a video you might like, my subscribe button's over here.

Thank you so so much for watching everybody and cheerio!

Grilled Beef And Vegetables With Fresh Herbed Butter - Duration: 2:51.

hey guys welcome to cook with Nancy another episode if you're new to my

channel all you haven't subscribed already please go ahead and subscribe

right now today we are gonna make oven grilled beef and vegetable with

fresh herbs and butter this is very easy to put together once you prepare your

ingredients just throw them in the oven in few minutes it's ready to go so let's

get started with the ingredients I'm using two medium sized colored capsicum

you can use any colors I like the color combination of orange and yellow so we

can mix green red up to you I'm using one small onion layered 8-10 baby

potatoes but into half you can also use regular potato cut it to four if you use

a big potatoes just use two or three add them in the big bowl now I'm using

broccoli floret one cup cut into medium size salt as needed chili flakes as

needed two tablespoon of olive oil you can add already tossed them well to

combine make sure it's well coated with the olive oil salt and you can also add

pepper if you want now I'm using a grill pan because I'm gonna cook in the oven

but if you're using the outdoor grill you can definitely do that just have to

cover them in the foil and just throw them in three pockets that way it gets

cooked evenly now I have added 1 pound beef that is a steak fillet cut into cubes

now I'm going to make a buttered herb 2 tbsp butter 1 TSP fresh rosemary finely

chopped 1 tbsp dry parsley and 1 tsp fresh thyme now combine them all together

until the butter and the herbs are well combined you may also add garlic in this

case if you would like to for the additional flavor just mince them and

add in the butter now go ahead and add pieces of butter on top of vegetable and

the beef do not bother for tossing them to take care of itself when you're

cooking them pre heat oven at 380 D F

and place the grill pan in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the meat is

cooked through it depends how you want your meat to be make sure you toss in

between the cook time at least once so that the vegetable in the meat cooks

evenly once this done remove it from the oven

and serve hot if you like my recipes please do subscribe to my channel and

don't forget to leave the comments on like below I will see you soon in my

next video till then take care guys bye bye

No One Will Enter The Paradises Because Of His Deeds - Duration: 4:26.

WE CANNOT EARN PARADISE SIMPLY THROUGH OUR ACTIONS

IT'S NOT POSSIBLE THE PROPHET SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALAM SAID TO HIS COMPANIONS ONE

DAY REJOICE FOR NONE OF YOU WILL ENTER PARADISE SIMPLY BECAUSE OF YOUR

DEEDS NONE OF YOU WILL ENTER PARADISE BECAUSE OF YOUR DEEDS SO THE

COMPANIONS WERE SO SHOCKED THEY SAID WHAT NOT EVEN YOU O MESSANGER OF ALLAH

HE SAID NOT EVEN ME UNLESS ALLAH HAS MERCY UPON ME

UNLESS ALLAH HAS MERCY UPON ME AND IT IS THIS MERCY

THAT WE WISH TO OBTAIN ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT THROW OUR

FEW YEARS OF OBEDIENCE

BECAUSE THE REALITY IS WE HAVE A FEW YEARS ON THIS WORLD LIVING

BREATHING EATING SLEEPING WORKING MIX ALL OF THAT OUT WITHOUT WORSHIP

WITHOUT PRAYER IT COMES TO A VERY MINISCULE AMOUNT AND WE'RE ALLAH SUBHANAHU TAALA

IS PREPARED TO GIVE US IN RETURN FOR THAT MINUSCULE AMOUNT OF WORSHIP

IS AN INFINITE LIFE IN PARADISE SO REALLY ANYONE WHO HAS

ANY SENSE WILL TELL YOU THEY'RE NOT THE SAME THEY'RE NOT THE SAME BUT IT IS THE MERCY OF

ALLAH SUBHANAHU TAALA WHICH WILL CAUSE THE MUSLIMS TO ENTER PARADISE

I'VE MENTIONED IT BEFORE IT'S A WHILE AGO SO I'LL REMIND THE BROTHERS SISTERS OVER THE

NARATION WHICH THE PROPHET MOHAMMED SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALAM BEFORE YOU THERE WAS A MAN WHO WORSHIPED FOR

FIVE HUNDRED YEARS AND WE KNOW SCIENTIFICALLY HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT MANKIND

BEFORE USED TO HAVE LONGER LIVES LONGER LIVES AND WE KNOW

NOOH AS WHO GAVE DAWAH TO HIS PEOPLE FOR 950 YEARS WE KNOW ADAM AS

LIVE ON THE EARTH FOR 1000 YEARS AND THEN YOU KNOW LIFESPANS DECREASE

DECREASE DEGREES UNTIL WE HAVE THE AVERAGE LIFESPAN AS WE HAVE NOW SO THERE WAS A

MAN BEFORE YOU THE PROPHET SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALAM TELL HIS COMPANIONS WHO WORSHIP ALLAH FOR 500

AND THEN HE DIED AND THEN ALLAH RAISED HIM AND HE SAID TO HIM AS YOU

ENTER PARADISE BECAUSE OF MY MERCY AND TO PARADISE BECAUSE OF MY MERCY SO THE MAN

SAYS O ALLAH BECAUSE OF YOUR MERCY WHAT ABOUT MY FIVE HUNDRED YEARS

WORTH OF WORSHIP WHAT DID THAT GET ME WHERE DID THAT TAKE ME SO ALLAH SUBHANAHU TAALA SAYS

OK SO HE ORDERS THE MEZAN THAT HE ORDERED THE BALANCE TO BE BOUGHT FORWORD

AND ON ONE SIDE HE TAKES THIS MAN'S 500 YEARS WORTH OF WORSHIP

AND HE PUTS IT ON ONE SIDE OF THE BALANCE AND THEN HE TAKES ONE BLESSING HE TAKES

ONE BLESSING WHICH HE GAVE THE MAN AND THAT IS THE BLESSING OF SIGHT HE TAKES HIS

BLESSING AND HE PUTS IT ON THE OTHER SIDE AND IT OUTWEIGHS THE

MAN'S 500 YEARS OF WORSHIP SO WHEN WE

TALK ABOUT THE COUNTLESS BLESSINGS OF ALLAH SUBHANAHU TAALA THE IMMEASURABLE

BLESSINGS OF ALLAH SUBHANAHU TAALA WE TRULY DON'T GIVE THEM JUSTICE

WE TRULY DON'T GIVE THEM JUSTICE AND THAT IS WHY THE PROPHET MOHAMMED SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA SALAM REMINDED US THAT

IT IS ONLY WHEN THESE BLESSINGS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM US THAT SOME OF US

ARE TRULY THANKFUL FOR WHAT WE HAD BEFORE THEY WERE TAKEN AWAY SO WHEN

WE'RE HEALTHY WE DON'T TRULY APPRECIATE HELP UNTIL WE'VE TASTED

SICKNESS WE DON'T TRULY APPRECIATE WEALTH UNTIL WE'VE TASTED

POVERTY WE DON'T TRULY APPRECIATE FREE TIME

UNTIL WE ARE PREOCCUPIED WITH THE LABORS OF LIFE
