South Korean and U.S. military forces carried out their final drill ahead of the PyeongChang

Winter Olympics, set to start next week.

According to South Korean military officials on Thursday, the two countries recently carried

out their 'Warrior Strike' drill on a U.S. base in South Korea.

The drill involves hundreds of South Korean and U.S. troops gathering in underground dummy

facilities... to train on infiltrating into North Korea and eliminating weapons of mass

destruction.

But this year's drill was scaled down compared to last year's,... which many say is due to

the thawing atmosphere on the Korean peninsula with the North's participation in the Winter

Olympics.

Federal Reserve holds interest rates steady in Yellen's last meeting as chair - Duration: 1:26.

The U.S. Federal Reserve kept its interest rates unchanged at one-and-a-quarter to one-and-a-half

percent.

Park Ji-won has more on this widely expected move.

Wrapping up its two-day meeting on Wednesday,... the U.S. Federal Reserve announced that it

would leave its benchmark interest rate unchanged,... in the current range of one-point-two-five

to one-point-five percent,... in order to help the economy continue to grow steadily.

The decision comes as the Fed's chairwoman Janet Yellen's four-year term ends on Saturday,...

and her successor, Jerome Powell will take the oath of office on Monday.

With a background in investment banking,... Powell has served on the Fed's board since

2012,... and consistently voted in favor of Yellen's policies.

During Yellen's final meeting as chair,... the Fed indicated it expects inflation pressures

to heat up as the year moves on, in a sign it may raise rates in March under the incoming

chief.

Citing solid gains in employment, household spending and capital investment, the Fed said

it expected the U.S. economy to expand at a moderate pace and the labor market to remain

strong in 2018.

The next policymaking committee meeting of the Federal Reserve is slated to be held from

March 20th to 21st.

Korea's consumer inflation slows in January as food prices dip - Duration: 1:50.

Inflation slowed more than expected in South Korea in January.

It crawled along to a 17-month low as a fall in food prices dragged on the headline consumer

price index.

Kim Hyesung has the details.

One percent.

South Korea's annual inflation fell in January to its slowest pace in almost a year-and-a-half.

According to Statistics Korea Thursday, the consumer price index edged up just one percent

on-year in January, the lowest since the zero-point-five percent growth logged in August 2016.

The figure falls short of a median forecast of one-point-three percent from a survey by

Reuters.

It also marks a deceleration from December's increase of one-point-five percent, dropping

further away from the Bank of Korea's two percent target.

Statistics Korea attributed January's sluggish inflation to a contraction in food prices.

Fresh food prices dropped two-point-six percent on-year.

Vegetable prices plunged nearly 13 percent, dragging down overall inflation by zero-point-25

percent.

In addition, electricity, water, and gas prices also fell one-point-five percent from the

previous year.

"Prices of agricultural goods have stabilized.

They fell considerably on-year, mainly due to a base effect and a seasonable effect.

Fresh food prices were unusually high last January, which coincided with the Lunar New

Year holiday, while the holiday falls in February this year."

Service prices rose one-point-four percent on-year, but marked the slowest rise since

February 2014's one-point-one percent.

Core C-P-I, which excludes agricultural and oil products, rose one-point-one percent from

a year ago, decelerating from one-and-a-half percent in December.

South Korean skiers returns home after two-day joint training in North Korea - Duration: 1:55.

Dozens of the nation's skiers have returned after a 2-day joint training up North.

They weren't alone on their trip home.

A big group of North Korean athletes who will be competing at the winter games took the

same flight.

Ji Myung-kil has our top story.

A delegation of 31 South Korean skiers was flown back home from North Korea Thursday

on a chartered flight.

They were joined by 32 North Koreans, led by the North's vice sports minister.

Among them are 10 athletes who will compete in PyeongChang 2018, including a figure skating

duo, two short track speed skaters and three athletes each in cross-country and alpine

skiing.

They will first go to the athletes' village in PyeongChang to complete their registrations.

After they are registered, the ten North Korean athletes will move to the athletes' residence

in Gangneung where they will stay throughout the duration of the Winter Games.

Twelve members of the North Korean women's ice hockey team arrived in the South last

week to hold joint training with their South Korean counterparts.

A total of 22 North Korean athletes will compete across five disciplines, making this the largest

North Korean delegation in Winter Olympic history.

On the last day of the two-day training Thursday, the South Korean alpine and cross-country

skiers held joint training sessions including friendly races at the North's Masikryong Ski

Resort.

There are ten slopes at the resort with a total length of nearly 18-kilometers.

The luxurious Masikryong Ski Resort opened in December of 2013 which took less than a

year to build after the North's leader Kim Jong-un ordered the construction in February

of the same year.

Kim who is known to have been educated in Switzerland is rumored to be keenly interested

in skiing.

After prosecutor reveals her sexual harassment experience , #MeFirst movement calls on ... - Duration: 2:13.

A female prosecutor who recently came forward with detailed allegations of sexual harassment

has asked the prosecution to protect her from baseless rumors within the organization.

The 'MeToo' movement that started in the U.S., is now growing in Korea, after public prosecutor

Seo Ji-hyeon revealed her experience of sexual harassment within her workplace.

And to complement the rise of the 'MeToo' movement, Seoul court judge Moon Yoo-seok

started the 'MeFirst' hashtag, calling on people who witness sexual harassment to speak

out to try and prevent it, rather than being spectators.

Seo Ji-hyeon, a prosecutor at the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office, on Thursday

requested that the probe team protect her from rumors regarding her performance and

work discipline after revealing her experience.

She also said she had even received awards from the Justice Ministry for solid work performance.

A special inquiry team, headed by chief prosecutor Cho Hee-jin, was set up to probe into the

alleged sexual misconduct case.

Cho at a press briefing on Thursday said she hopes the launch of the inquiry team will

serve as a chance for men and women to work as equals in a work culture.

She also pledged to do her best to make sure Seo doesn't receive any secondary victimization.

Gender experts highlight the seriousness of secondary victimization in sexual assault

cases.

"The 'MeToo' movement can bring forth a phenomenon, in which the victim although they haven't

done anything wrong, ends up disadvantaged,... especially in Korea -- a very male-dominated

and patriarchal society."

Seo had posted on an internal board on Monday that she was groped by a then-senior Justice

Ministry official at a funeral dinner 8 years ago.

Seo appeared on a primetime cable news program on Monday,... to make public her experiences

and demanded an apology from the alleged offender Ahn Tae-geun - a former prosecutor.

Her appearance sparked a public uproar with thousands of Koreans protesting outside of

the court and signing online petitions on the presidential office's website demanding

an investigation into the matter.

Korea's exports jump 22% on-year in January - Duration: 2:08.

South Korea's exporters had a great start to 2018,... continuing their upward trend

over from last year.

Outbound shipments jumped by more than 20 percent on-year in January,... thanks to booming

sales of semiconductors and petrochemical goods.

Kim Mok-yeon looks beyond the numbers.

Korea's exports jumped 22-point-2 percent on-year in January, rising for the 15th month

in a row.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, outbound shipments reached

49-point-21 billion U.S. dollars in January, showing double-digit on-month growth for the

first time in four months to record Korea's highest ever exports for the month of January.

The figures came as a surprise to many as there has been speculation that exports would

be sluggish early this year due to the base effect coming from last year's record-high

gains.

The rise has been attributed to a global economic recovery and increasing sales in the manufacturing

sector.

"Basically, I think exports rose because the global economy is in good shape now.

Oil prices are increasing and demand for shipments of major export items such as semiconductors

are also very strong."

Exports of 9 of the 13 major export items increased in January, all of them seeing double

digit growth.

Sales of semiconductors and petrochemical products saw the highest growth, posting monthly

records, backed by strong global demand and higher margins.

By region, shipments to Southeast Asia and China saw the highest growth, rising 37 and

25 percent respectively.

Imports also jumped 20-point-9 percent on-year to 45-point-48 billion dollars last month.

Pundits say the upward trend would likely continue for the time being, but added that

there are also underlying risk elements.

"Our exports are highly influenced by the global economy.

So now with the recovery of the economy, we are facing the good side of the coin.

But things can change at any moment depending on the uncertainty, such as fluctuation of

currency, international oil prices and the ongoing bilateral trade discussions with the

U.S."

Korea's trade surplus in January stood at 3-point-7 billion dollars, marking 72 straight

months in which the country's exports have exceeded imports.

Main opposition criticizes government's populist policies, poor handling of crises - Duration: 2:06.

Policy speeches by the leaders of major parties continue at the national assembly.

Day two was the main opposition Liberty Korea Party's turn.

Kim Min-ji brings to our attention what the conservative party had to say.

Korea's main opposition party used the podium to highlight the mishaps of the Moon Jae-in

administration.

In his policy speech,... Kim Sung-tae -- the floor leader of the Liberty Korea Party -- said

the government's policies are causing concern among the public.

He pointed to the recent minimum wage hike that's led to the firing of workers as small

businesses aren't able to shoulder the financial burden,... regulations on cryptocurrency that

are causing huge price fluctuations,... and a string of measures aimed at cooling the

real estate market that haven't been effective.

Kim went on to say that two recent fires that claimed the lives of dozens of people also

showed the incompetence of the government.

"People have started to ask: Is this what the government calls building 'a nation that

is truly a nation'?

They have begun to shake their heads."

Kim said the government is more concerned about what he claims is "political revenge"

by digging out the irregularities of the past conservative governments -- and putting important

issues, such as people's safety, welfare, economy and foreign affairs at the back of

its mind.

On North Korea,... the floor leader said the nuclear problem shouldn't be overshadowed

by the regime's Olympic participation -- adding that the government has let Pyongyang have

its own way.

He stressed the government needs to step away from its naive stance of pursuing dialogue.

Kim put forward a suggestion -- a demand the conservative party has long been calling for.

"Redeployment of strategic assets is the most effective military option to counter North

Korea's nuclear threats.

We hope the government notes that this is the most effective response, and a card we

can play against North Korea's nuclear threats for now."

As for Constitutional amendment,... Kim said a revision must be made to reduce the president's

authority -- as it's a road to pursuing a mature democracy and overcoming imperialism.

This chocolate facial has 4 steps- Cleansing, Scrubbing, Face Massage and Face Mask

The chocolate facial will instantly bring a bright glowing look on your skin which i think all of you will like it very much.

For cleansing, dip a towel in shimmering water

Then with the help of the towel clean your skin with upward strokes.This process will act as both cleansing and steaming process.

After this you need to make a scrubber, massage cream and a face mask

Then take 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder in a bowl. You can get Cocoa powder very easily in a grocery store.

Now you require cinnamon powder. I am adding 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in the bowl. If your skin is sensitive, then you can use flour powder.

Then i am adding 2 teaspoon of raw milk in it and adding all the ingredients properly.

Now massage your skin in a circular motion using the mixture of the bowl. Cocoa has a lot of vitamin C which keeps your skin healthy.

Cinnamon fights with the acne and pimple causing bacteria's. So for this reason if you have an acne and pimple problem then add cinnamon to your skin care regime.

And it also removes the dead skin cells which makes your skin soft and supple.

And raw milk has lactic acid, which dissolves the dead skin cells.

After scrubbing for 30-40 sec, wash your face with normal water and dry it off.

For face massage take 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder in a bowl.

Then i am adding two teaspoon of curd in it. Then i am adding 10-15 drops of grape seed oil. If you don't have grape seed oil, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of almond oil.

Now mix all the ingredients thoroughly.

Apply the face massage cream all over your skin. Face massage is an important step because with face massage our blood circulation gets better and our skin looks healthy and glowing.

In this video I will share a few facial massage techniques which i think will be very helpful to you.

First of all start with your neck. Massage your neck in an upward direction like this for 8-10 times.

After this you have to place your hands on your chin like this and you have to lower your face a little bit and then run your hands up to your ears in an upward direction.

You can repeat this process for 8 to 10 times.

After this place your right hand on your chin and move it in an upward direction to your left earn and then slowly bring it down.

Always keep in mind that your hand pressure should be minimum. You can do this massage on both sides for 8 to 10 times.

After this, place both your hands on your chin and massage them in an upward direction towards your nose like this.

This massage helps in reducing the smile lines and helps in lifting up the face muscles in this facial region. You can do it for 8-10 times.

After this you can massage your cheeks with both hands in an upward direction like this.

After this place your thumbs on your neck and make a temple shape with your hand like this and move the hands in a horizontal direction towards your ears.

This will help in massaging your cheek area very nicely.

Put your hands in a similar position like before and start massaging your fore head in a circular motion like this.

Now dab your fingers over your full face like this. This will make you feel very relaxed.

Now use a wet sponge to clean this massage cream from all over your skin.

For Face Mask take 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder and then add 1 teaspoon of honey in it.

After that add 1 teaspoon of raw milk in it.

If you want you can add lemon juice in it but if you have a sensitive skin, then please avoid the lemon juice.

Now mix all the ingredients very thoroughly.

Now apply this mask all over your face and neck.

This face mask contains cocoa. Cocoa increases the blood flow which makes the skin look healthy and glowing.

Cocoa also has a lot of antioxidants which helps in repairing and rejuvenate the skin cells.

Honey and milk moisturizes the skin very well and improves the skin complexion.

Now leave this mask to dry for 15 to 20 mins. When this mask becomes dry wash it off with normal water and then dry it with a towel.

After completing these 4 steps you will see that your face has become more glowing, bright and soft than ever before.

Seoul's unification ministry announced tickets will be given out on a lucky draw.

Lee Jeong-yeon explains how the system works.

Those hoping to get a rare glimpse of North Korea's Samjiyon Orchestra performances better

bring their A-games to ticket applications, as the Unification Ministry announced on Thursday

that applications are to open on Friday.

"A total of 1-thousand-60 tickets will be given out for free through online lottery...560

for the performance in Gangneung, and 500 for the one in Seoul.

Social minorities as well as industry officials will also be invited."

Contenders can visit ticket-dot-interpark-dot-com to apply.

Ticketing opens on Friday noon for 24 hours.

The winners, chosen at random in each age group, will be announced on February 6th through

the website and notified via individual texts.

Each winner gets two tickets to the event.

The performances will take place on the 8th at Gangneung Art Center and on the 11th at

the National Theater of Korea in Seoul.

Foreigners residing in South Korea with a registration number are also eligible to apply.

Around 1,100 social minorities, as well as separated families and internally displaced

persons will also be invited to the shows.

Answering to reporters' questions at the briefing on Thursday, the unification ministry spokesperson

said that the specifics of the program are still under discussion, and that the North

Korean performers coming to South Korea will not be paid for their performances.

Some 140 North Korean artists are to make their way to South Korea over two days, on

the 5th and 6th, and will make their way back to North Korea on the 12th after their performance

in the capital.

why I have built an automatic Chain lubrication system. Yes,

I have already answered this in the video, the reason is actually,

because I find the constant lubrication when I am doing a long tour just very

annoying and I always have to take a chain spray with me and

that's why I decided to build an automatic chain lubrication system.

Besides, it was a winter project for me, for the time

where i can not motorcycling

and yes it was a task for me to build a chain lubrication very

cheap, so it was my task to build a

Chain lubrication under 50 euros. Well I have successfully

made one and yes i want now of course show an example how to not

make the chain, because that can go very obvious.

Here is the chain lubricated and here he tries

to strip off fat with a cloth

and comes with the Thumb in the chain and breaks
